Part 2:On August 24 the installer came back with the drawer faceplates completed. He installed them and, the bench and, file cabinet were completed at this time. Now, for the pantry: he only had 1 handle, there were supposed to be 3. And, their solution for the gap in the barn door was 2 cheap pieces of wood that would stick out like a sore thumb. And, they wanted to put two chunky wood blocks on the floor under that sliding doors and, put a slider above them. Our projects were over $20K and, that was completely unacceptable to us. So, they left and, we needed to figure out another solution.I thought long and hard and, spent over $200 in materials as well as 60+ hours of my time to perfect the gap by fabricating the metal to allow the 3 barn doors to close properly. I also, purchased and installed the rollers for the bottom of the doors and, they are not only classy but, work perfectly. It’s mind boggling that they didn’t figure this out. The installer (I believe his name was Jessie) that came back on September 9 even said that I did such a great job and, I should sell this item to the Barn door people. That’s how NICE it looks. I told Tammy that this was the solution and, Stone Creek came back with the statement, you warranty is voided now because we didn’t install it. Are you kidding me? I made it look professionally done while they wanted to stick a couple pieces of cheap wood in the gap. When the installer was here on September 9, he finished installing the two handles. He asked for $1K final payment. I told him about all the time and money I had into the doors that they couldn’t fix and, that I would like the owner to call me to discuss the final payment. Here is where they committed FRAUD! I never heard from the owner and, they took it upon themselves (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION or SIGNATURE) to bill my credit card on file. If you want to be lied to constantly and are in no hurry to get your furniture completed and, don’t have a problem with possible FRAUD - then by all means, go to this company. But, if I knew where you, I would run as fast as you can away from this company.
Wonderful customer service and products. The employees were so helpful with finding a piece that fit my space. Would recommend to friends and family!
They love you when youre purchasing, but pray you never need support and make sure you scrutinize their lighting wiring proposals. We purchased custom cabinetry for two bathrooms and an office in 2013 for ~$10K. The lights failed in all of the office cabinets in 2016, but were champion procrastinators and did not address it until COVID work from home this year. We sought their help to disassemble to get to the wiring and diagnose and repair the issue. We were not looking for free service or repair, just help restoring back to operational. The team who came to disassemble and diagnose were great. The people back at the factory (with supposedly the full support of the owner) were adamantly unhelpful. First --the original lighting was 120VAC with all lights run to POWER STRIPS! that were then sealed behind crown molding. This completely violates the UL rating on the power strip, not to mention just extraordinarily poor design and possible fire hazard. We asked them to quote replacements using low voltage lighting. They said there were no drop in replacements and wanted to charge $545 per hour labor to do the repair/replacement work. I have an email string in which the employee who provided the quote said the owner charges that much because hed rather do more lucrative work and to basically push people into doing their own support work. This was in the context of us also asking for a quote for about $1500 of new product for another area of the house. We contacted the lighting manufacturer and located low voltage drop in replacements, which we were able to install ourselves. So, Mr Ron Jones, by focusing on your more lucrative customers, your company will not be given the $1500 immediate project nor a 12 linear feet uppers and lowers of laundry room cabinetry that would have been requested had this all gone well AND 15 linear feet of library bookcase living room wall system. Was it worth it?
Wonderful craftmanship! You can just feel the quality of the hardwood. The media wall took my living room up a whole notch.
Looking around to furnish my new place and stoppped by here. The tv wall with fire was cool, liked that the fire changed colors. I liked the desk alot too. The staff was really nice, dont remember the workers name but she was friendly.
We received exceptional service from our designer, Ariel. The showroom is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, and the designs were creative, quick, and exactly what we needed. Ariel was very responsive, and the prices were fair. The finished product was several weeks beyond our expected completion date. There were several issues, but the company made it right. It looks nice, but is not the highest quality.
Outstanding quality! We purchased a custom media wall from them and the quality of their craftsmanship, finish and over all look is exactly what we needed. My wife saw a picture on the internet and asked if they could do something like it. With some modifications, they came up with an awesome design. People that come into our home are always impressed with it. Highly recommend them.
BEWARE! If I could put negative stars I would! I have a HOUSE full of Stone Creek furniture and the way I have been treated by them is appalling! My last purchase from them was a 10 foot table that I paid $100 extra for an extended FIVE year wood warranty. My warranty expires in about six months so I had a few issues that I need to be taken care of. After about a DOZEN phone calls, stopping into the showroom in Scottsdale only to be told to again CALL customer service and about 3 emails later I was told that it would COST ME $125.00 to have them come out and LOOK at the warrantied table! Im sorry...WHAT?? What did I pay for then? I was then told that Im a little far for them to come for free? FAR??..Im 15 minutes from Scottsdale!! Their customer service is atrocious as is their people in their showroom. Do yourself a favor and stay away. I wish I had.
Just want to let you know how happy we are with our new wall unit. It looksGREAT! Dawson and Michael did a fabulous job and we are so happy that you installed it on the day promised.Stone Creek is lucky to have such great employees.A big thank you Shelly, for designing exactly what we wanted.
My husband and I worked with Ariel and she was amazing through out the whole process. Great work attitude, knowledgeable, and great personality. The whole process has been very nice. My cabinets get installed tomorrow--I cant wait!
If i could give them 0 star, i would. We ordered an office from Stone Creek back in January (Holly Kaufman helped us). It took them more than a month to color match our current cabinets color. When everything was finalized, they came out in the end of March to install our office. We were surprised that the color wasnt exactly the same as the sample, it was 70% close but we decided to let it slide. Then we realized they installed wrong handles after we brought our custom-made handles and hardwares to their store and handed to Holly. On top of that, the cabinets didnt fit correctly, they were too small. The installers also did such horrible job putting the cabinets together, leaving 3/4 an inch gap between the cabinets and the wall, on each side and the back wall. The top measurement was off more than a foot. This is disturbing because we paid $600 something for their expert to come out and measure our office. They ended up bringing half of the cabinets back and leaving an unfinished job in our office. We then tried to communicate with them through phone and emails to resolve the problems but it had been so difficult. When we emailed the Manager Ariel, she responded once and asked for more money, and then she stopped responding to us after we said No. It had been almost three weeks since we heard from her. We went to their store and Holly refused to help or deal with us. She had the worst attitude and carries such condescending tone in her voice. When we asked to speak to Ariel, she said Ariel went on vacation (and here we are, trying to deal with this and there are unfinished cabinets sitting in our office). We have never had to deal with any company like Stone Creek before. They have bad customer services and their employees are incompetent and rude. I do not recommend this company at all. I cant wait to get this whole thing over with...
Not going to go into specifics on my drama with these people. I will say that this was first time in all the years I have been in Arizona that I deal with this company and I must say the taste left in mouth is quit distasteful. When I mention to Wade that all I wanted now was to get them out of my life I got no reaction other than indifference and arrogance. So if you enjoy being treated in different and with arrogance this is the place to go. If you enjoy having your sales person hung the phone on you because that person does not know how to handle an upset customer than this is also the place for you. Next time I will go to Big Lots to by any furniture.
