I came here with a side door scuff and I thought the paint had been damaged. A staff person was able to buff out the scuff with a rag and some cleaning fluid and a lot of elbow grease. No charge. Every staff person I encountered was friendly, respectful and positive. I would definitely return here again if my car ever needed body work.
Went here because they were partnered with my insurance. They do a good job but need work on their estimates. I had to call several times during the span the car was in the shop only to be put on hold and given new estimate dates each time.
Ive gone to Seattle Automotive twice for various insurance claims. Both times theyve treated my car with the utmost respect, and extended that very same respect to me. My car is a bit lowered, and they have a ramp to get into their bay. Ive both seen their workers be extremely careful to not scrape any portion of my car, and theyve also allowed me to drive it up the ramp when they dont have someone available. Theyve done one extremely large job, and another smaller job, both were done expertly, and they made sure to only use the best products they can when fixing the car. At one point someone had broken a wheel of mine, and they were very quick to make sure the correct price was attached to that wheel, so I didnt end up getting screwed out of having to pay for a very expensive aftermarket part. Overall, 5/5, wonderful team and amazing work.

When I pick the carThe employees Can’t find the car or keys??Then at home I noticed all around the car glue from the tape/plastic they used to cover the glass How they said the whole car need it a clear coat when they didn’t wash remove the glue from doors,hood, engine.Finger prints everywhere, a recent paint job should show clean nice paint I have to wash and remove the sticky leftovers,Very UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE DON’T GO THERE THEY JUST WANT THE INSURANCE MONEY.
They did a good job replacing my front and back bumpers and taillight in 2 days. The estimate was very accurate to what I ended up paying, which was a fair price. I had a great experience
I 100% recommended this place for body work. Someone scrapped up against my diver side and wheel so my car need a paint job and wheel repair. This place did an AMAZING JOB!! It looks brand new! I will be taking my car back to get some other digs and scratches fixed. Thank you guys!
I recently used Seattle Automotive for a minor repair on my 2020 Honda Civic. Overall, it was a great experience, but I had a few issues, which they corrected. The customer service was overall good.The first issue was that they originally told me my car was going to be ready that day when I called to check on it, and it wound up not being ready until the end of the next day. That was a minor inconvenience.Also, when I went to pick the car up, they were in such a rush and everything, which I understand. I looked at the work on the car, and at first, they bumper was not lined up as it should have been. The original person told me, Well, its just like that, and I said no, its not. The bumper needs to be completely lined up. After two tries, they lined it up, and they were friendly about it.Overall, it was a good experience with minor inconveniences, which is why I chose four starts instead of five. They did keep me updated on the status, which I appreciated. I recommend them overall.
They sent a tow to pick up my car and had it fixed within a couple days. Constant updates and transparent costs throughout the process.

I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t come here if they had to get their car back in driving condition. The turnaround time for my car was as promised and they even vacuumed the inside. The staff was very responsive and always had an answer to my questions. They updated me everyday on what was going on until it was time for me to take the car home. Overall, it was a great experience.
I think theyre pricey, but the work and professionalism make up for it.

My car was hit during a robbery of a fellow co-workers car. The thief stole his car and rammed into my parked car in a panic during the robbery. I have uninsured motorist insurance through progressive and decided to go with their recommended collision repair provider. Which was Seattle Automotive.I brought my car to the shop on a Wednesday and was told it would be completed by the following Thursday. They sent me text message updates of the work almost daily. I received a call on the following Wednesday and was told my car was ready for pick-up.I went in Thursday morning to pick up my vehicle and found that they had done a poor job painting the brand new bumper. I pointed out the problem and asked if it was supposed to be like that. The gentleman helping me told me it was not and that he would talk to a manager (If they were not able to spot the issue through internal Quality Control then there is a real issue). I waited for about 30 minutes until a manager came to speak to me.The manager told me that they would have to redo the entire bumper. He gave me the option of taking my car and bringing it back in for the repair or leaving it and they would be able to fix it more quickly. He promised it would be finished early in the week if I left it. I decided to leave the vehicle.It is Wednesday night. Two weeks after I initially dropped off the vehicle and I finally just got it back. I will say that the vehicle does look good. But my biggest issue is the lack of costumer service. I honestly expected them to offer to pay for a rental. or offer to reduce the amount I paid from my co-pay. but that never happened. The thing that really left a bad taste in my mouth is that when they returned my car the gas was completely empty. Running of fumes empty. My car will track the amount of miles left until empty and it is on 0. Even if they would have spent the $40 it takes to fill my tank I would have felt like I was taken care of.In summary. It took them two tries and two weeks to get the job done. The vehicle looks good. But if you are someone who values customer care I would suggest looking somewhere else.
I’ve been to them twice because Toyota recommends them, and I’ve loved their honesty. Even if it’s not the best circumstances, they take measures to make you feel like you’re in the loop and reassure you. I got calls from them twice every week about the status of my car, and it was a stress reliever to hear from them. They allow you to inspect the vehicle before you get it back to ensure that it’s up to your standards, which is a lovey little touch.
The time it took to fix my truck and get it back to me was super-quick. I was quoted a 10 day lead time and received it in 4 days!The staff was courteous and professional.Tell your insurance adjuster that you what your work done at Seattle Automotive.

I came to get an estimate on my car and they told me that it was going to be a one day job. Vianca processed everything and immediately transferred my car to SLU to get fixed right away. They immediately ordered the car part needed to fix my car so that it would get in by the end of the day. Andrea from SLU handled it as promised and kept me updated on my car throughout the day. They even washed it and vacuumed the inside! I would definitely recommend this shop!
My 19 year old daughter (from Utah) was on a road trip to Seattle and got in a car wreck. The car was taken to Seattle Automotive, but it was totaled and not repaired. She didn’t know she had to tell them to release the car to the insurance company, so they charged her $600 just to have the car on their lot for 6 days!! Outrageous! That’s double what any other place would charge. Our insurance company tried to reason with them and get them to come down on the price, but they refused. My daughter’s car was old and barely worth double that. So $600 of her hard-earned money down the drain. So maddening. Don’t take your car here.

This shop is very unprofessional, they appear to please you with their eagerness to satisfy you with service that they provide but they are simply unable to accomplish the task no matter how hard they appear to try.We had our compact SUV rearranged and only the the door had to be replaced. After trying couple of times to set the door properly I had to give up on them. The door is all crooked and everything around it is in disarray.I would definitely not recommend this shop due to high probability that they won’t be able to provide proper service.
I had my first accident and was recommended by Geico this Enterprise car rental center location. Becca helped me with getting a car, and then went above and beyond with an issue I had with my insurance adjuster. Her customer service was such a blessing in lieu of the rest of my struggles! I called in a couple times and spoke with Matthew as well, he was kind and answered my questions.Ill definitely look into their services again for future rentals! I’m not sure about the quality of work, as my car was deemed totaled and ended up not getting repaired, however the wait at the front desk was unnecessarily long. I stopped by to pick up paperwork which was prepared a day prior and had to wait for far too long. It would be helpful if the front desk asked people “how could I help you today” when people walked in, instead you are greeted with “please take a seat.”
This is my 2nd time coming back to the shop for my 2nd vehicle - BMW X1 that was hit in a parking lot 2 days after I bought it -.- The front desk girl was so nice to help me out and guided me to right direction to deal with other party Insurance which is USAA. They took pictures of my vehicle and told me to go home and wait, they will call me back when USAA approved the estimate, 2 days later I got a call to drop off my vehicle. 4 days later I got my vehicle back. They hand washed my car and detailed inside. The communication was great, they called and texted me until the date out.
I got recommended this place by my insurance company. If I had known, I would have never brought it here to begin with. After my car had been in the shop for a while, they called me and told me to pick it up. I got there and it was not finished and they sent me home. This happened twice. After that, they said the car was all good and I told them to just bring it to my house because I wasnt going back again. They brought it and when I test drove it it was clearly not working. I had a guy come from the company to test drive it for me. I went to a flat road and went 25 miles per hour, let go of the wheel, and the car almost crashed into a ditch because of how bad of a pull there was. I told him it wasnt normal, right, or safe. The guy had the audacity to ask me if I had ever drove much in my life and I told him to look at the hard facts here. He then called his manager and admitted to the manager that it was really bad then said he would take my car back. After 10 minutes I get a call to come get my keys from him in the parking lot and that his manager refused to do anymore work on the car for me. Not to mention that they brought my car back on empty. I have every right to believe that they siphoned my gas. Later that week, my car was broken into. First time ever since living in the area for 7 years. My car was a mess, my subwoofers had been messed with and disconnected, and I found a receipt from Seattle Automotive for a car that was for a totally different car and customer that was not previously in the car before. Suspicious. These people are crooks, liars, and thieves. I brought my car in to Sonic Collision Center in Seatac because Seattle Automotive refused to do anymore repairs. My car had missing screws and clips left inside, and the axel was completely f**ked up. After everything I experienced with this company, I believe they are doing insurance scams. I have reported them to my insurance company as a possible scam and my personal agent no longer suggests them to people, and they have alerted higher ups. Seattle Automotive does not fix your car, they bring your car for joy rides/siphon the gas. Any reasonable car repair shop will give you either a full charge or give you enough gas to get home. Seattle Automotive is a scummy company that doesnt give a sh*t about their customers. Dont be tricked by their willing to help attitudes. Its a facade. Do not bring your car to Seattle Automotive.
I do not recommend bringing your car here for repairs. My experience with Seattle Automotive is no communication from them, no updates on my car repair status, and no communication to my insurance agent about what was happening. They also sent my car to their SLU center for repairs and then brought my car back to SODO on an empty tank of gas, letting me drive off like that. If you need to have your car repaired i recommend you go to Service King instead.

Great service for a great price! Mr. Lee was very helpful and nice. I came here to get my gas tank door lock fixed, and he did it quickly and correctly. I would definitely come back here again if I ever needed something else, and I recommend it for others!
Diagnosed the problem immediately, friendly, and modest rates.
While my car looks great and Im very satisfied with the end result, everything else that led to that was subpar and frustrating at best.First, I was told Id get a call same day as drop off with an estimated finish date. That didnt happen. I called next day, they said that my claim manager would call me. That also didnt happen until nearly 7pm. Then, when it was time for pick up 3 days later, I was the only one in the lobby and even then it took more than 25 min to get me my car. Finally, when i get into my car, its obvious that my car windows were left open in the shop because there was a layer of powder on both the interior and exterior of my car.
What a great place to bring your damaged car. I have brought 2 cars here for repairs and they fixed them up as if nothing ever damaged my car in the first place. Would totally recommend Seattle Automotive! Great service and great staff. There is also an Enterprise Rental Car office located on-site as well.

I was sent here by my insurance company. When I got my car back the interior was covered in a thin layer of paint. Im guessing they used a sprayer to paint the replaced trunk door & left it completely open (wagon). My dash, all of the seats, everything in my center console was covered in white paint. It also reeked of paint of course for weeks. If it hadnt been the day before Thanksgiving when I got my car back, I wouldve asked to leave it there and have them clean. Two stars is for their front desk and customer service. they did a good job of keeping me updated.

Been knowing Tony, the owner of the shop for quite a while now. He has been a great mid-eastern man, kind and funny. Heard about the unfortunate mistake from one of the employee recently but seem like the action is already taken to take care of the matter. Understanding this is not a small mistake, this mistake made a lot of people angry because we are all humans and we have feelings to feel about certain things, but they are already sincerely apologized for their actions and tried their best to fix and to calm each of the individuals that have been affected by this matter.
Brought my car in to repair a rear bumper scuff. When job is complete i could not tell that there was ever damage done to the bumper at all. Friendly environment. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Quick and very courteous. Repair quote was phenomenal.
Repairs took twice as long as promised, and I got my car back with a misaligned steering wheel, a missing side mirror cap, and after a month had water leaking into it. Would have been better off not repairing it in the first place. I cant understand how they are still in business - must be insurance.

I have now had three cars worked on at Seattle Automotive SODO, my experience has been excellent all three times. Erik and Gabby were fantastic, I really felt like there was a dedication there to doing a solid job, I also found the communication to be up to date through texts and calls.
I have a lot of experience with body shops, and Seattle Auto is by far the best in the business. Their staff is helpful and friendly, and the work they do is impeccable. Plus, they have an Enterprise on site, so you can drop your car off and get into a rental right from there!
I had to get a rear hatch replaced on one of my company vans and everything looked and worked great. They even washed my car and vacuumed out the inside. Fantastic place for autobody work. Also, they have those cookies in the lobby that come in the giant tin.

Had my car met with a minor accident. The quote they gave for this was quite decent and they also mentioned it might take 5 days to complete the work (all this in less than 20 mins wait time). I accepted and went back home for a couple of days, when they called back saying my car is all new. I immediately rushed back to check on my cars condition, and to my surprise, the work was really great. It looked as if my car had no accident whatsoever. I really like this place.
Very professional and excellent work. Theyve painted my bumpers and pulled and painted a couple of dings that could not be reached by PDR. Theyve also referred me to a great PDR guy when appropriate.

Brought several cars in for repairs and maintenance services. They are only slightly more expensive than similar shops but are usually much faster (walk up estimates and 2-3 day repairs). The work done has been great!
Got estimate 50% less than other shop, with Seattle Automotive estimating (via GEICO) that “no parts are required” for significant body repair. Apparently bad at estimating or simply want to lure you in with a low price repair then double it when the techs “take a closer look” and realize parts are needed! (matching other honest estimate!)Nevertheless, I scheduled to bring my car in for repair work to begin Monday morning to have delivered by NLT Friday evening March 1st. Five business days later and they are STILL WAITING ON PARTS TO BE DELIVERED on Friday night! I thought the “repair status” text message and website was very helpful... however it’s all a lie. It still says my car should be ready for pickup at 5:30pm on Friday!?! It’s past 6pm. Apparently that is not updated either. Seems like they just want to sit on your car for weeks and have you spend $$$ for rental car. (Supposedly parts are delayed from CA on I-5 at Grants Pass but no recent weather or road closures found)I tried to give them every opportunity to succeed by preordering parts if needed, scheduling appointment in advance, etc however they just can’t deliver. Still hopeful, but will have to wait and see what final result looks like and update this review as a result.

They were nice and all but wound up with rental car AND when they called for me to pick up my vehicle, not only was zero work done on my vehicle but I was given an added bonus of crayon xs, circles and lines all over my paint which wont wash off ( 3 washes still there ). So yeah, my experience absolutely SUCKED. And still waiting for a solution 3 months later.
The best and only auto bodyshop I will ever trust with my 2016 Civic!My car was vandalized and required considerable body work.Not only did they go to bat with me with my insurance company to take care of the mold issue in the passenger cabin resulting from the vandalism.Through all the trauma of something like this occurring, Tram my estimator was amazing and when she handed me back the keys she could see there were tears in my eyes I was so happy and she gave me a big hug.This is old school service. This is how its done. Seattle Automotive is Seattles *only* Auto Body Shop in my opinion.They basically handed me the keys to a brand new car its absolutely gorgeous! If you need auto body work done, take it to Seattle Automotive!Youll be glad you did.
I went through a time in my life where my vehicles kept getting hit - on the freeway, in my neighborhood, and a few times at work. The folks at Seattle Automotive always took exceptional care of both me and my vehicles whether we processed things through insurance, or out of pocket. I got backed into last night & know exactly where Im headed to get it taken care of :)

Let people do their business and stop being hate on everything that not even yours in the first place. I will still go back to this place for my vehicles being fixed in the future or recommend them to family and friends since its a dumb ass mistake, they are already tried to fix the mistake/ matter (i read their post on fb, they tried to talk to the delivery guy and fired the girl that hung the thing). If you dont want to come to this place anymore just dont come but stop the hateful comments and try to drag the whole business down just because of someone’s stupid mistake and not even your business . There are people that working there that innocent, they have bills to pay, kids to take care of. Let them have jobs and take care of their own family. This is their lesson to learn to modify their own system again about these sensitive topics. The stood up and took the responsibility for it. What else do you want them to do ? Bankruptcy? If so you are all morons. I hope your family members wont have to go thru this if its ever happened to their work places.

I showed up to get my car at their South Lake Union location, and immediately noticed that the rear bumper was not replaced. I was already picking up my car a day later than they estimated because they had been waiting on a particular part.When I informed the manager (who apologized) she assured me my car would be fixed the following day. She told me that they had the bumper, but simply forgot to put it on. She offered me a rental car for one day to try and rectify the situation.The next day I went to pick up my car and noticed that they had left garbage in my cup holder, in my passenger seat (loose papers), and crumbs on my consult. In addition to this they had piled all of the items from my trunk in my passenger floor space without even making sure the dirt tray I keep in my trunk remained flat. So basically all the hiking dirt I had accumulated over the past few months is now on my passenger floor.The manager did not seem to care very much about my complaints, but she did assure me she would make sure this wouldnt happen again. Not that I will be going back.

When I try to pick my car they didnt change my tail light and it was damaged from the accident . And I called her I told her my tail light still broke why you guys didnt replace it she said ohh Im sorry we forgot. You guys bodyshop you need to inspect the vehicle before you put it in your garage.
They didnt finish putting all the parts back on around my wheel well. They actually left them in my trunk. They left me sitting in the waiting room while my car was ready for like 15 minutes. When I called to say that they left parts in the back of the car, the receptionist didnt give any sort of apology or anything on behalf of the company. They also left some degreaser spray bottle in the back seat and didnt put the floor mats back correctly.Everytime i went in I always had to wait for ~20 min in the lobby.They did reimburse my uber to/from to pick up the car which was nice, but it was a hassle getting a check for the right amount. Most of the people working there do seem nice though
