The worst place Ive ever been to in 30 years of wearing glasses. The eye doctor did not listen to me at all, when I got my glasses that I waited weeks for I couldnt see. Same with my contacts. I spent over 300$. I went back in and made them give me a refund. Never go there. Many other people have had this problem. Two other people the same day I was complaining, had this problem. Stay away from them.

Tried to reschedule my appointment over the phone. No one answered while I was listening to the prerecording of advertisements and statement that someone would be with me momentarily. After about 15 minutes of listening to this message, I decided to drive to this place (while still listening to the prerecorded message over and over again). When I arrived (about 40 minutes after I placed the call) there were several assistants setting behind there desks and one asked if he could help me. I turned up my phone so he could hear the prerecorded message and told them that I was trying to reschedule my appointment but no one would answer. He said something like they were too busy to answer the phone and he apologized. He canceled my appointment and asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I said no. Why would I want to do business with this place if I had be physically present to cancel an appointment just because they were too busy to pick up the phone?

Great place. Extremely professional and very fast. Great prices too. The staff is great, all around.

I had horrible customer service. I asked where the name brand glasses were and was told over there but they can be very expensive!!! I replied that cost was not an issue. I found a frame I liked but did not have time to buy them nor did I have them hold them for me. I called back 4 hours later to ask if they would hold them until the next day. I gave them the model number, and was told they dont know what they look like!! Basically the girl didnt want to get up and look for them. I called a different Optical Outlet an hour away and they were more than happy to get the frame ordered for me. I would not recommend this store to anyone. One good note, the Dr was thorough yet efficient and friendly.

Still waiting for my glasses. They told me 7-10 days. As of today its been 2 weeks and I still havent heard from them. The lady who served me was very nice and helpful. Theres plenty of free parking, and handicap friendly.

Angela the manager is super nice. But the girl at the desk Aliya or whatever her name is very unprofessional and rude and could use better training in customer service. Their frames and lenses arent cheap either so expect to pay quite a bit of money out of pocket for new glasses.

I would suggest taking the “Walk-Ins Welcome” off your sign. Considering they are not actually welcome. Entered and asked for an exam. Was told to make an appointment. I stated their sign literally had “walk-ins welcome” written on the window. Was replied to with, “I understand that but the doctor’s last appointment is in 3 minutes and then he is leaving.” They close at 6pm it is 4:45pm. I’m sure the doctor is great and they could have awesome services. Don’t put you accept walk ins unless you actually do. Simple.

This place is great! The best staff I have been too! Even having a crazy man coming in scream and being very threatening to them all over not wearing a mask (which he clearly had hanging out of his pocket and a dog inside) they never lost control and still were still being extremely friendly! Hands down the best and Angela omg I can not say enough good things about her. She is by far the sweetest! Shame on that man for being such a Karen for no reason to calling the cops. I am happy I come here

Went in for eye exam and glasses. The exam was really quick and the Dr only flipped through about 4 lenses. I could not see clearly through any of them. After I got the glasses I went in for adjustment two or 3 times. I was having headaches and thought it might be because they were slipping down my nose. I told them I was still unable to read street signs (main reason I came in for new glasses.) The manager told me to make appt for re-examination. I came in Dr was short with me and said he had bumped the old script up (it was from 4 years ago) and that I was seeing 20/20 and there was nothing he could do for me. I cannot see license plates 2 car lengths in front of me and things are not clear but hazy. I would not recommend this vision place to anyone!

I went there a few months ago and the eye Dr was great...the choice of glasses are horrible..I had to pick a pair and they have a large plastic piece for my nose...the glasses fall off my face..very disappointed...want to take my glasses and run them over with my car..

What an experience today went in to see my favorite crew that always give amazing service to encounter a man that without provocation began accusing the staff and manager of discrimination and abuse for simply asking him to use his mask that he had hanging from his pocket! In response he began yelling and acting beligerante and calling the police and threatening to sue them (clearly only seeking to sue a company) and then made racial comments to one of the staff that is of foreign nationality!The store manager Angela was amazing the entire time kept her cool and just kept asking him politely to leave which any business has the right to refuse service, you may not like it but they do. I can understand he may be traumatized by other places but in no way was this man mistreated or provoked he just simply flew off the handle attacking the staff raising his voice making a scene and should remember that not everyone is going to treat him as others may have and should have approached this maturely and respectfully!If you can’t wear a mask fine then wear a shield! No excuse for your behavior you are an adult act like one! How embarrassing you made yourself look!

We definitely enjoyed our visit and we are so thrilled that we made the switch to optical outlets. I have two teenage children 1 who was extremely anxious with her visit. The doctor and staff were so patient with her. I was very happy to see that they had such a big waiting room with lots of seats . The office is very clean. Staff was very informative explained everything to us about pricing about what our insurance was covering. Wait time was a little on the long side but they did inform us that the doctor was a little behind . They were very kind about it. The only thing I would recommend is that the staff work on their greeting greet people when they come in check on them if theyve been there for like over an hour give them a little more heads up on whats going on things like that but overall definitely five star.

Dr. Stamp is awesome with very high energy! He is quick and to the point, but will always take the time to answer questions and he is very attentive when you ask often asking follow up questions to make sure he gives you the best possible answer. He is also very honest and does his job with the highest integrity possible. My family has been going to see him for years and the service has been a steady 5 stars. Even when they are busy they are staffed appropriately and you never wait to long. When they are not busy they will call you before your appointment and when they are busy your not stuck waiting too far past your appointment time maybe 10 -15 minutes at most. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and very thorough when fitting your frames to the point we have never had to go back due to issues with fit. They have a wide variety of frames for a wide variety of affordability and they are not as costly as other places and they offer better service. No one is stuck up or snobby and they don`t rush you. I would never go anywhere else!

Spend a little more money and go to a real eye doctor. They never got mine right ended up going elsewhere.. will never go back.

They put my sister in glasses she cant even see through when her eyes are fine, gave me trouble through my exam, being pushy when I couldnt see well through the lenses, and put me in the wrong prescription. My glasses give me migraines but I cant go outside without glasses and Im stuck with my set due to expenses

Got taken, they charge $184 for a exam, I stated I only wanted what my insurance covered. I kept saying, does my insurance cover? I feel stupid for not looking what I signed. They have now charged me over $400. The girl told me today that my glasses had everything, I don’t need every thing. Staff was friendly while they are ripping you off.

Ive been to this location a few times and the service is always exceptional. The ladies always greet everyone with a smile and ready to answer any questions. I was even able to get a full office tie breaker on a hard decision between two pairs of eyeglasses. All the women there are phenomenal but I specifically dealt with Glynis sparkles thank you so much for making my experience great every time!

Glynis was very helpful in helping me find the best brand for my eyes. I realized I have an allergy to silicone in contacts and she did not hesitate to let me try the silicone-free brands. She’s the best

So I decided to finally take the plunge & buy glasses as had been using reading glasses for a few years. After years of seeing commercials of buy one, etc etc, I had no idea the cost could easily arrive at around $500ish even while having insurance. Regardless, I went thru the process, received my glasses quickly, only to be disappointed. After a week or so, I called them to ask for my money back. They offered to make it right first & made no qualms over fully reimbursing me. Thank you.

I came in with my husband for his exam and the experience was amazing. Dr. Stamp was awesome very personable. We then waited to be helped. They seemed slightly short staffed as there was only one lady named Amanda beside the lady at the welcome desk. We then sat down with Amanda and we have never received better service! She explained what would be best for him and sold us on the glasses! She has the perfect personality for the job! I will be referring everyone to the Dr there! I will continue to go to this location!

The first of the year I tried Optical Outlet for an eye exam, and eye glass purchase. The experience went smoothly, and I bough two pair of glasses. After about 5 months, I had issues with one pair. So I decided to go back, and see what they would do for me. I am very happy to report that due to the issues, they replaced the entire piece(lenses & frames). I recommend to family, and friends to give this affordable office a shot for your next pair of glasses.

After 1st exam was badd Vision was blurry day we did another exam The doctor was not happy so heried the exam up So I ended up with 2 new pair of glasses that make me sick when I wear them They cause headaches All they care about is getting your money

I came in with a script to get glasses. I was helped immediately by Ruby. She helped me pick out my glasses and was smiling and extremely helpful the entire time.Good customer service is hard to find in this area, but Ruby made my day and put a smile on my face for the rest of the day. You have a gem in Ruby. I came back to get my contacts and dealt with Ruby again. All smiles and sweet. Went to Dr. Stamp for years. Unfortunately the insurance changed and I have to go to another. Great atmosphere in there. Dr. Stamp is really nice too. Love the way they remodeled it.

It started out good, then we realized it was the worst.When you sit down with one of the girls, they are on the computer and answering the phone. Interruption after interruption.The exam is the shortest we have ever experienced. We both dont feel comfortable with the prescriptions. I think it is all about being rushed. The entire experience was like a cattle call.Will never return.

If I could give 0 stars I would . This place sucks, UNPROFESSIONAL . Especially Roxanne, and another women at the front desk. UNORGANIZED, Rude to my mother who was trying to get prescription sunglasses, hung up on her on the phone. She picked out a specific pair of sunglasses, Lady told her yes that she was going to get the exact pair as of what was asked and called her in that theyre ready to picked up and was a totally different pair, and my mother went back and showed her the correct pair that still had magic marker marks on the lenses when she first picked them out and added on additional charge for something they already told her what they were ALREADY supposed to do. Dont recommend this place to anyone.response back to the owner: your disagreeing because you guys have bad customer service and, someone from your office called back, ask me to change my review, now Im not. Until my mom gets her glasses an gets treated properly when she goes there then maybe. Have a nice day :)

Have not been there for about 6 months but while I was there 2nd year in a row the service was terrible. My glasses did not last. The non glare coating they apply to your glasses does not hold up and deteriorates well with in a year. You can get glasses that hold up at other places. Unless they are under new management I would avoid.

I didnt need an eye exam as I had brought my prescription from my eye doctor with me. They had a deal on (2 pair for $98 or so). This was the first time I had ordered glasses anywhere so I had plenty of questions. The rep was pleasant enough but I really felt pressure to upgrade. In hindsight, I really should have simply walked away. In the end, my two pair of glasses set me back $369!! Worst of all, I have NEVER been able to wear them. They were not fitted properly so no matter how long I persevered, I was never able to see through them at any comfortable angle. A total waste.....I donated them with the hope that someone somewhere will benefit from them. I will never use this company or send anyone else there.

They are one of the best in Florida, as soon as you come in they welcome you with a smile& they make you feel at home, the staff is very professional and to them your like family not only a number.The manager Julissa, speak Spanish& English she sure goes out of her way to help you.I give them. 5 !!!

Used to like going here until I had to take my girls here to pick out frames.Because my oldest insurance she was only able to pick between 3 glasses and all the glasses look like old man glasses. She will survive Im getting her a pair somewhere else.With my other daughter, she has a crossed eye so when they were trying to measure her glasses and where to put her bifocals the lady very rudely asked if she could straighten her eye up, when I said no she got another lady to try and was telling her right in front of my daughter I cant work with her if she cant straighten her eye to make it easy for me so you have to do it. I was so mad and my daughter started crying. Spent the rest of the day reassuring my daughter that her eye isnt whats bad that it is the rude lady we had.

Like he makes comments where it’s borderline hitting on you, and he is very demanding towards the employees. No way to run a business. He looks like Elvis hitting rock bottom. I called on August 7th, 2019 to make an appointment at your Weeki Wachee office. My appointment was scheduled for August 13th. I came in to get a regular eye exam done for glasses and contacts. As I briefly explained to Dr. Thomas Stamp the history of the bulge over my left eye and mentioned to him that it’s been amplifying over the past 3 years. His ONLY recommendation was to put a bag of frozen peas over my eye which “should” reduce the swelling. Well guess what genius? THAT DIDN’T WORK!! (Which I knew it wasn’t going to anyways) Once I was done with Dr. Quack, I went to sit down with one of ladies out front. We discussed the fees, (which I also asked about PRIOR to the appointment and was told there shouldn’t be any fees, my insurance will cover it) and I was asked how many boxes of contacts would I like to order? Which was one box. I was given a 30-day trial, which one of the contacts ripped the next day. Weeki Wachee said they didn’t have anymore in stock. So, I had to take a 45 minute drive to the New Port Richey office to get one contact lens. I called Optical Outlets on the 16th, the 21st, and again today the 29th. The first time I called (Aug. 16th) I was told that my contacts weren’t ordered yet. The second time I called (Aug. 21st) I was told my contacts were in transit and it can take up to 10 business days to come in. Mind you I was told at the office that they order contacts the SAME DAY. Which would have been the 13th. Well it’s been well over 3 to 7 business days. As I spoke to the office manager, Rachel, at the Weeki Wachee location and explained EVERYTHING that has happened. She informed me that there wasn’t any record in the system of me calling over than today. The only thing that’s been compensated was one 30-day trial lens. I did come back to the office to get a referral to see a REAL doctor to get to the bottom of the lump that’s over my eye. And to top it all off, the manager was getting cursed out by another patient that came in the office the same day I was dealing with my issue. It seems to me that Optical Outlets in Weeki Wachee doesn’t have a good rep. In conclusion, someone needs to have a talk with Dr. Stamp, a.k.a. Dr. Quack, a.k.a. Dr. Pea Bag! Everybody wanted to blame someone else instead of taking the fault and trying to fix it. Rachel, if you do get a chance to read this review, please address this to the district manager. Because everything I endured at this office was completely unacceptable.Update: I was told I will be compensated for the cost of my contacts. Along with more apologies from the manager. Shes been doing everything in her power to make things right, which I am truly grateful for. In addition to what was done for me, I was asked if I can change my 2 star rating into a 5 star rating. However, I do believe thats a little unethical. I am understanding to the fact that errors happen. But being mistreated is a whole different avenue. The doctor & this office is just going to have to take an L on this one.

Horrible service, they take for ever.

So far, so good. Moved into this area recently with my wife. Really going to miss our previous eye doctor and staff, so we have been hopeful with located a equal to or better than service. We have not used the eye exam service yet, but her and I both bought our prescription glasses here. We are very pleased with the purchase. Unfortunately, I lost my new glasses at the bottom of weeki wachee river, so we shall see how my basic pair that I will be purchasing soon turns out. Staff here is great to work with.

I have to say, I was very pleased with Optical Outlets response regarding an issue. It means a lot to me as a customer to know there are still companies, willing to provide a solution, to keep customers coming back.

Felt extremely rushed during the exam, the doctors chairside manner was very bad I felt as if he was rushing the entire time, I am hoping my new RX is ok and thats whats most important but as far as professional manner I am extremely dissatisfied with how I was treated. I understand its a busy place but I felt intimidated to even ask any questions because he was doing everything so quickly like he needed to get the next client in the chair asap. Very disappointing. The girl who helped me when I checked in as well as the women who helped me pick out my glasses was very nice and if it wasnt for there kindness and professionalism I would of given this experience only one star.... if my glasses come put good and my Rx is right when I pick up my new glasses I will consider adding another star but as for now Im extremely disappointed. :(

Horrible experience, this location pulled a bait & switch when my wife tried to use one of them advertised specials. Instead of $100.00 off exam and 2 pairs of glasses, she was overcharged and only promised a $20 gift card which we never received. Repeated phone calls resulted in frustration and claims the gift card was sent to the wrong address. We will not be returning to this location, or deal with Optical Outlets again, since other budget optimal centers such as Walmart offers better options, and friendlier customer service.

I have always had a good experience here. Theresa is my go to girl in there, she has helped me in so many ways when it come to my girls. My big one getting her the right contacts and now with my baby girl and her glasses. She fought tooth and nail to get my baby girls glasses covered because staywell didnt want to cover them. Lol wanted proof they were medically necessary uhh no kidding this kid cant see without them. She fought though and one and I appreciate everything she has done for me and my girls. Ill never go anywhere else..

This place got me for $140 bucks on my glasses that were not even clear to view thru. I told them this when I picked them up and they told me I needed time to adjust. Well one eye is clear the other eye is blurry and the frames are even and new. I used my old glasses and my 30 days is up with them so I am screwed now. Will not be returning F-

Every single time i call sometimes days in advance and they never EVER have openings its always a week waiting list so i call about 2 days in advance on the day they said they would be free and guess what booked solid again so i called twice within the day the second woman told me they had openings even though i left my number with the woman the first time and practically begged her to call if there is a change she NEVER did

Two years ago I had my exam done here and ordered my glasses. Last night my dog broke the frame to my glasses and I showed up first thing this morning without an appointment. They worked with me so that I have a pair to use. It is time for a new exam and probably a new prescription and I wouldnt go anywhere else!
