Drove 45 minutes to make a payment just to pull on a locked door during business hours. Called the call center was told I would receive a call shortly. They never called, not even a week later. App isnt working on my phone. They have no IT guy to help. I have safety concerns about a gate that never closes, a complete section of units that have no camera and have had no lights for over a month now. Manager argues with me over my complaints and that I simply asked for the late fee to be waved, call center says you can do it, fill in employee says it can be done. Heck you could have given me a discount for the next month but chose to argue instead. I asked for his supervisor name and number and he refused to share the info. Been waiting three days for his boss to call me. The picture attached is a bong it had been sitting in the exact same location for about 6 weeks now. The commercial says expect more from storage. Rated number 1 in customer service!? How? Who did they pay off to get that award? Does it even exist? I have found same size units in climate control for less then Im paying here. They rented me a unit with double little doors. Charged me almost $40 for two individually sold padlocks knowing they also sell a two pack for about $10 less. Im so disappointed in this company and my experiences. I feel I should be refunded all money simply because I was lied to, taken advantage of and given a false sense of security. I paid a $25 late fee on a $125 because their app wasnt working, their employee wasnt anywhere to be found and they cant return phone calls. Late fees can but be waived, yet see pictures attached it says it in black and white that they can change it.

Advertised space is WRONG.After renting at a different CubeSmart and discovering that the interior space of the 10x15 outdoor unit I rented was only 142 deep, I called this CubeSmart and was assured that their units included a true 15 of interior space. (I need the space for a 144 kayak trailer.)Nope. I took my tape measure, and the unit was only 136 deep. HOW does a company round 136 up to 15 feet? This is just WRONG.

Hours on the door said 0930-6:00 p.m. 10:00 ish, lights out, no answer to knocks on the door. Another woman was already waiting in the handicap spot 12 feet or so from the door, 20 feet from a car parked on the other side of the lot. She told me she stores stuff there and was waiting to see if someone arrived. Out a door to the left of the store front exits a female employee, never looked our way, drove off. I called corporate and they said the place should be open. Five mins later the female returns, no acknowledgement to us, and walks into the employees entrance. I yelled across why wasnt she open? I had corporate on the phone. She told me not to yell at her, I told her what corporate said, she said they called her in on her day off to work. I asked her, why no note on the door, or come tell clients youre not open; she reiterated her: corporate called me in to work on my day off. I told corporate what she said. So, shes called into work, being paid with the lights out and doors locked. Hmmm?

Customer service here is wonderful, prices were good.

I have always felt welcomed and Melissas personality and level of professionality make you feel safe in storing items for both personal and business. The condition of the place was very clean..however They made me pay for 2 rooms I didnt even need. The young man working wasnt very knowledgeable about how much space I needed and talked me into renting 2 units I didnt even use but they wouldnt refund the costs which I thought they should have since I didnt need them. My reservation was all messed up on their end but The manager refused to work with me. I wouldnt recommend this place.

UPDATE:Although my possessions have been locked away and CubeSmart has had full payment and a signed online contract from me for over 3 days, the management has made NO attempt to remove their own additional lock from my storage unit allowing me access. Their ignoring of my phone message to grant me access is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! What initially seemed like a business that was extremely competent has come full circle to one that I now recommend staying far away from. PLUS, the broken front Security Gate is still wide open providing access to anyone who wishes to enter. This organization and this facility leave much to be desired, especially if you value the safety of your stored belongings.Was quite impressed that my storage unit was ready with my lock and Welcome Package within minutes of my online reservation. Just wish the powered front gate was not in a state of disrepair and stuck in the “open” position allowing everyone and anyone to enter the facility. Also impressed the office was manned the day after Christmas when others were not.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE !!!I rented a 10x20 climate controlled unit for a few months. The staff Ben and Moe were very helpful with the storage unit and setting up a truck rental for me. My storage unit was in the new building were everything was clean and dry. There was always help available if you needed it. I lost my padlock key and they got me back in. The two of them really care about customer service and it shows.

Will tell you they have specials. But once you sign they will charge you full price.

John and all the guys made it easy to turn my uhaul in, very helpful showing me what size storage unit I needed. The golf cart ride was a surprise as well. Thanks again Kenny

The new prices are ridiculous

Absolutely terrible! Disgraceful and will never rent a U-Haul truck again! Ever!!!We had rented a U-Haul truck from this establishment so we could get our items from Florida to the state where we live.One of the corners had damage (we hadn’t seen at the time we rented the truck) which let water in and there was a problem with one of the front wheel bearings. We were told by the U-Haul dealer where we had dropped off the truck that there is no way that truck should have left the lot where we rented it from.We called them to resolve the situation after dealing with insurance for the damaged items. The corporate office was very rude, insulting and made us feeling as though we were the cause of the damage.I am beyond shocked not only at the treatment we received when trying to resolve this issue with them, but I am equally shocked that they would rent out a truck that has damage and would be considered unsafe for interstate travel.Astonishing to say the least that any company would treat their customers in such a fashion. I will never be a customer of StoreSmart again, nor will I ever rent from U-Haul again.CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!

I was in the hospital for nearly a year. I hired someone to store my belongings here. Both of our names are in the contract and I’ve been paying for the storage for eight months. When I got out of the hospital the staff would not allow me to access my belongings without the other party being present. They had no problem cashing my checks! They would not provide me with the contract, they would not tell me where my stuff was stored. Hell, they wouldn’t even provide me with the receipts of what I’ve paid them! The guy I hired to move my stuff is AWOL and nowhere to be found. The inept, foolish, rude staff and management informed that my choices where: A) Continue paying in perpetuity with no access to my belongings or B) Stop paying and buy my own stuff at auction. After involving an attorney and law enforcement they changed their tune. Please do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere. I only wish there was a negative star rating option!

Ive been renting here for more than two years with never an issue. Even with high turnover in staffing they treat customers well and give breaks on rent when possible (but you should ask).

The staff in here are AMAZING, even though I had a horrible experience with early pick up, the UHAUL App, and Uhaul customer reps. While I was on the phone with UHAUL the guys arrive a little before 9 and processed my request in less than a minute. Thank you once again you made my moving day less stressful.

Now my brother in law has to deal with some pseudo intelligent pot head with an attitude named Ben and some other obnoxious schmuck who takes 3 hour lunches. Do yourself a favor and check out the U-Haul Storage in Brooksville on Hwy 50. Great people, professional service. Ask for Kathleen.

They are still billing me for a parking spot for my camper. I paid for the first month, cancelled, within 24 hours due to a family medical emergency, and they are billing us month after month despite cancellation via phone, email, and in person.Worst customer service possible!! Go to Hideaway or Storage Kings (Security Storage). Management is completely incompetent.

The guy who works there was rude and had an attitude. We were given a month of free storage by U haul and this location was the address they provided. Well they werent open when we arrived however the worker was there when we pulled up. Because they werent open yet, he made us wait in the parking lot for an hour instead of him just telling us we were at the wrong facility even though I knocked on the door and could see him inside. Horrible customer service overall and would not recommend this location to anyone ever!!
