First, I want to say that Jenny is absolutely wonderful. Shes very friendly, has excellent customer service skills, and answered all my questions. I went in for a car inspection, even though they were pretty busy, my wait time wasnt too bad and they arent the kind of business that looks for ways to nickel and dime you. I dont know the name of the mechanic who inspected my car, but I was happy how thorough they are and that they took my car at the last minute. I always get my tires here as well. Ive been a regular customer for over 10 years, even before they changed their name and always had good service here.
My daughter was in town for only one day and her vehicle state inspection was rejected (at a different service shop) for a rear tire. This was Saturday around 2:30 pm.I called in a panic---they had the tire in stock, installed it, and completed the state inspection by 4:30-----it was truly wonderful service.The advisor recognized my daughters tough situation and could not possibly have been more kind, helpful, and efficient---highly recommend!
This was my first time having my car serviced at this location. I loved the process and the fact they are open on Sundays is awesome. Work was completed in a timely manner.
Avoid this place of service at all cost! I have been to this location twice. Once when I didn’t know how bad the service was at this location and once after that as they were the only store open at the time to have my tire repaired.The first time I scheduled a tire rotation and oil change for 10:30am. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited for 10 minutes for someone to show up at the counter. I waited for approximately 3 and a half hours for a simple tire rotation and oil change and staff had no excuse as to why this took so long. After this was completed they advised that my car needed an alignment done. When asked how much I was quoted $289 for the service. I very ridiculous price for this.The second time of going my wife’s tire needed to be patched. The mechanic was mediocre at best and could not get the lug off of the tire. He called for the manager to assist. Needless to say they put the wrong lugs back on the wheel completely stripped and the manager watched this happen.This place is completely very unprofessional and greedy. Terrible staff and work ethic. Avoid at all cost because they do not care about quality of service or customer satisfaction.
I had one day off to get my brake pads replaced. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to get me an appointment within the next couple hours. The man at the front and the mechanic I spoke with were incredibly kind. Come to find out, my brake pads didn’t even need to be replaced! Instead of coming up with a bunch of things they could fix, or replacing them anyway since that’s what I initially thought I needed, they told me to have a fantastic day. I will be back and they come highly recommended by me. Thank you Tire Choice for making an often dreaded event of getting my car serviced, easy and pain free!
STAY AWAY!!! PLEASE...I bought tires from TireRack and had them shipped here because R&R was no longer on the list to ship to. When scheduling the appointment I requested they mount, balance, and look at the rear end because their was a slight wobble at highway speeds, but the last request they never did. They also had me waiting 3 and a half hours after my appointment time for installation with no mention on them running behind schedule. On my way home the wobble got a lot worse, you could hear a momentary hissing coming from the passenger side, and any slight change in direction and you could feel the rear end sway back and forth. When I got home I checked the tire pressure and it was set to 60 psi (driver) and 90 psi (passenger)! Tires usually arent supposed to be filled to anything over 50 psi! Also Im a little curious as to why they got grease on my bumper under the trunk... Just seems a little suspicious.The old management was a lot better and Im taking my business elsewhere. This new one... inability to properly manage time, inappropriate jokes being made with customers, and front desk constantly on the phone with significant other. They dont any attention to customers coming in... having them wait until clerk is off his personal call in there back office.
Very quick. They were slammed packed, as always and told me it might be a 3 hour wait. I left my car with them and they had it finished in 1 hr. Very sufficient people! Had a great experience and very good customer service! Will be going back for future work.
Store manager Robert Hunter was very helpful and honest about what needed to be fixed and what could wait after taking my vehicle to Tire Choice Auto Service for State Inspection. Better service at this location than Kramer Tire. Will now bring my car back again for future needs. Thank you.

Needed my cars ac repaired. Gave it to the shop on a Tuesday afternoon. I was told my car would be finished by Thursday at 11am. Called the shop at 12 on Thursday no response until the third attempt. The response I received was I don’t see your car in the system. I called back at 2pm to be told my car hasn’t even been worked on yet and with a nonchalant attitude I was told we will call u when it’s done. No call or update till I called on Monday to be told it’s been ready. Show up Monday afternoon to be told bad news your ac still doesn’t work but we did what we could that will be 378 dollars.

So, I called you guys just as y’all were about to close and I spoke to Chandler I needed to come in immediately to get a new tire as that was on my way out of town and my tire light came on. Chandler was extremely helpful he was ecstatic to help as I called at the last minute, and the price was unbelievable. Chris is kind and courteous. Worked with me and was able to fit me into their busy schedule. Oil change and tire rotation. After initially leaving my car was pulling hard to the right and I noticed they the oil change sticker was indicating the wrong oil. Came back and they immediately remedied the problem. Honestly after going here for two years for state inspections I’ve had nothing but lies told to me for what needed to be done to pass state inspection. Please save your time and money and don’t go here. They are very dishonest and very costly. Go to Automotive Specialty or Express Auto care across from QVC they are both really good. Avoid this place like the plague! Not worth trying out!
Worst service ever!!! I thought it was bad before they switched names. It’s way worse now. Workers are lazy and just don’t care. Before 4 tires were incredibly slow now they don’t get to you at all. Sat there for over 6 hours and my truck never moved from where I parked it. Buy your tires from tire rack and have them installed at Firestone or NTB!!!

Customers beware!!We took our vehicle to this location for a specific issue with our vehicle. The store manager called us and gave us a list of all of these so called issues that needed to be fixed to even get to the problem.We paid nearly a thousand dollars based of of what the store manager said. When we got or vehicle back the same problem was still their with vehicle. They NEVER fixed the problem.The Assistant Manager called to inform the store manager and took the vehicle back. They came back with something else and then quoted us over $700 more dollars to fix what they never fixed.The Assistant Manager was very unprofessional and customer service skills. He refused to give me the contact number to the district manager and told me I can look online.I refuse to ever do business with this location again.Also, when you take your vehicle for an inspection they tell people that their lights are not balanced and get money for that. Its happened to us several times and people in the area.

I work in sales so I am always paying attention to first impressions and when calling to make an appointment you are always put on hold for 20 minutes or more. I called 3days in row, different times of the day and the same thing happened to the point I just figured I should take my car there. If I lived closer to the Western Branch location I would definitely go there because the customer service is better. I understand its busy but customer service on the phone is just as important. How can you maintain your business if everyone who calls in is being slated and disregarded as insignificant.

Someone need to so something about the people checking customers out for services. They did not honor my appointment and the wait was atrocious.
I took my car in at 748 on a Thursday, because my car was acting unusual and it cut off on me, I took it to Thread Quarters in Suffolk Va and at about 4 pm in the evening, I called and was told it was my timing belt, I said ok, he told me how much it was, and that it will be ready tomorrow, which was Friday by noon, I reply, great, I work the night shift so I rented a car, and took it back once I got off at 7 in the a.m. thinking my car would be ready at noon, like I was told, he then told me I had to pay in advance, so I gave him my debit card information over the phone and good to go, so I thought, fast forward to Friday at 330 p.m. I call the shop to ask about my car, and was told that my car isnt ready, and it will be ready tomorrow, Im like well why didnt anyone call and let me know, I was told well Im the only one here etc, so I said thats not good, how am I suppose to get to work tonight, my renter car is back and I checked online while on the phone with him, and nobody I mean nobody had a car to rent, I was told I can come get my car if I like, mind you it still doesnt run, and he didnt have anything else to tell me, I told him that he really inconvenienced me and communication in this matter would have been the best way for this ordeal, and I hung up, I called back and was talking to a manager suppose, and he never once said Im sorry for the inconvenience, he was talking about how if I drove the car when the belt was worn, how it probably cause more damage, and cost me more money, something I should have been told from the beginning!! Please if you can find and go to a most professional shop, do so, please, these people dont communicate with people and they are unprofessional also they tell you one thing, do another and expect you to be ok with it, and they make you pay up front for service, thats not even guaranteed on the day, that they say it is.
Stopped in for a state inspection. In and out in under an hour
Scheduled a state inspection online and received an email confirming the appointment, went into the shop and was told that I needed a confirmation email showing that I have the appointment, after showing the person the confirmation email showing that Tire Choice confirmed the appointment they still said that it was computer generated and it was not valid because I am not able to make state inspections online. If I am not able to make them online then why is that an option on your website and why am I getting an email confirming my appointment ?! They turned me away. Won’t be going here again.
I go out of my way to get my car worked on by John Blum. If theres anything wrong with the car he will let you know about. He also does great work and in a timely fashion. 😇😆
I was told car was ready at 5:45pm and got there at 6pm to find out they just started putting on the tires, whatever not a huge deal left an hour later but my spare tire was just thrown in my car and not put back in correctly or anything, literally just thrown in my car
Customer service is always good, more than willing to help, answer questions, and give information and tips. Coupons online are very helpful with bills. Manager Bryant is always more than willing to help out.The downside is even with an appointment, you will wait more than 3 hours for anything. Estimated work times are NEVER accurate. Been going here for years because of the price, but you get what you pay for. If youre in a rush, or a decent human who values their time, dont go. If you need labor for cheap, have fun.
I brought my car in because the low tire pressure light would not go off and I was concerned there might be a leak or puncture in one or more of the tires. The young man at the front desk was very polite and professional and told me they would take a look at it right away. A thorough check at no charge was done by a very polite technician and everything was found to be ok and attributable to cold weather. I highly recommend this business for your auto care needs!

They were quick. Got 4 tires mounted and balanced. But when I got in my car all four tires were low on air. The mechanic promised that he inflated the tires to 35psi. Their were warning lights on the dash and a big flat tire icon. I will not be back.
Absolutely horrible! They guy did not greet me and I spoke to him twice! He took my keys they check my car and call me back telling my all 4 of my brand new tires rolled like eggs and offered me new ones. Charged me $100 to look at the car and told me they would inspect it and never received that. Never will go back again. Beware
6 hour wait for you to mount/balance 2 tires and state inspection. Checked my car in at 0740 because when I called the night before you said get here first thing and we will get you right in. Oh your car is too low, we can only use the drive on rack, why, you guys dont own floor jacks? I could have brought you one.And then you crushed my lug fillers and BROKE a center cap and no one told me?! Oh and lets inflate the tires to 40psi while we are at it on a 2000lb car. Set appointment online just to be told it wasnt in the system. Wasting the smallbamount time I do have off. Dont waste your time or money with this place. Since the management change this place is absolutely horrible.

I had an booked appointment at 4pm to have two front tires replaced and I came in with my tires in hand. My vehicle wasnt pulled into the garage stall until 5:25pm and didnt get done will 6:28pm in which they close at 6:30pm. An scheduled appointment should run almost an hour and a half behind.

Great friendly service. My front end break calipers were missing a screw on the driver and passenger side but it presented itself as an alignment issue to the untrained eye. They addressed it quickly and professionally.
Took my 2007 Silverado in for an oil change. Dropped it off and it was done in a few hours. Apparently I also had a nail in one of my tires, which they fixed at no charge to me. They also didn’t pressure me into buying extra stuff that I didn’t go in for. Amazing! Excellent customer service. Will only be going here from now on. 10/10 would recommend!

Went to service center to day to get at tire repaired was purchased there when when it was tread quarters, they could not repair it with in 3 hours so I left it, I drove it there and had waited for over a half hour and tire was still inflated. when I returned they informed me they could not repair it (Just a nail in the tread) I told them to repair repair or just inflat and give it back to me. When they gave it back, They had spiked the side of the tire with a hole big enough to stick your finger in!!

I ordered a tire to be delivered there and installed. They noticed that the tire was the same brand and size as I needed, but was the LT version and cautioned me against installation in order to prevent damage to my vehicle. It’s much appreciated.

I made an appointment under the other services block on this business website. I was their prior to the appointment time and waited in line 23 minutes to get to the desk for my appointment only to be told rudely that I dont do appointments for inspections . My thoughts are the appointment should have been rejected rather than have a customer waste their time. The big attraction is that this place opens on a Sunday. Well so does Walmart. Never aging.

We were thankful that they were open on a Sunday as we got a flat in the middle of nowhere and would be passing through Suffolk. While they were slow (nearly 3 hours for a job they estimated to take 1 hour) they did get us a good price on a tire and had our 17 tire in stock.Unfortunately our tire only had 6 days of life before we met what he suspect was a roofing tack - not Tread Quarters fault. Unfortunately when we pulled the tire off to have it patched, we found multiple, large bubbles on the inside of the tire that very likely would have caused the tire to blow. Its hard to know if it was because the tire was cheap of faulty but it could have led to disaster if we hadnt bothered to check it out entirely.Needless to say - we ended up having to buy a new tire just 6 days after putting this brand new one on.Im not blaming Tread Quarters for this but Im not sure Id trust their tires with our familys safety again.
I was the 2nd person in line for inspection....but everytime a caucasian person pulled up...they took them before me......coincident?...I dont know..but when I asked why was I being pushed back..I was asked did I want my keys back...the people behind the counter were very rude...I gave them 1 star because I had to to do a review...but if it was up to me they would get no star at all

The guys did a great job and were super helpful. Bryan who helps run the front desk area even gave me some amazing advice for a motorcycle I could purchase for my wife. I love this place and they do a great job when it comes to customer service. Get here early or call for an appointment because they fill up fast. Don’t be mad if you have to wait because you didn’t call ahead and make an appointment.

I took my Jeep in for 4 new tires. They scheduled my appointment over the phone and helped find the right tired in my price range. I dropped the car off the night before and my spouse picked it up the follow evening. I questioned the total cost of the services performed. I called that same evening and spoke with Zain. Throughout the entire conversation he was very helpful, professional, and followed through on emailing me a copy of my initial estimate. I really appreciated his help and would highly recommend taking your vehicle there!
Mad respect for these guys. Took care of me, didn’t overcharge me, and were really nice. This lady came in screaming and cussing at them, causing a huge scene, and they definitely maintained their cool and were respectful despite her definitely not being respectful. Have to admire the way they maintained their professionalism and kept working and helping people out despite what was going on.
Dropped truck off to be inspected. Failed due to cracks in the rack and pinion boots, okay. Quoted me over the phone 640$ to replace them, okay. Didnt mention anything else expect needing to adjust my non-adjustable headlights, okay. Im a mechanic and only take my vehicles to shops to get inspected and tires everything else I do myself. After getting my truck back and asked for the quote in the form of an invoice turns out they were going to charge me for 169$ fuel system flush I didnt need, a 109$ wheel alignment that wasnt discussed, and 129$ for a brake fluid exchange I didnt need (did it myself in January truck has maybe 1000 miles on it since then) Long story short dont go here. Theyll try and work one over on you knowing you need your car, luckily for me I knew better than to pay 640$ for a job that will take me an hour to do myself.

If you want to get RIPPED OFF on a vehicle inspection then this is the place to be. $168.00 for 2 license plate bulbs and a turn signal bulb ( dont forget their miscellaneous shop fee 14.89) - Really material and labor should not be more than $40.00 and that is a high price --- In addition to sitting for 2.5 hours to wait for the inspection because I had no way to drop it off. Absolutely the worst place to have your vehicle worked on.

Just got my wheel bearings done and they were fantastic and even extremely patient with me while waiting and had my four kids. They are nice and friendly and the techs didn’t even leave my van dirty like at other shops. Definitely coming back.
Took my vehicle in on Saturday morning for an oil change & a state inspection. Got there at 7:30am; they opened at 8:00am. I was the second customer in line. Was told it would be around $49.00..They kept my vehicle all day & after calling twice, they said the inspection was done but not the oil change & if I could bring it back on Sunday at 9am & leave my key in the drop box, they would take care of the oil change for free & give me half off the inspection for my inconvenience of not having it done the previous day. When we came to pick up the vehicle, it had not been moved & the inspection sticker had not been replaced either..but, hey, I gave them the benefit of the doubt & took it back Sunday morning. Most of Sunday goes by & no word on my vehicle. I call again..was told by Brian (whom I had been speaking to all along) that as soon as a bay was open, mine would be done. Recieved a call about 45 min later stating the car was done & that the headlights were aimed too low & needed adjusting so the total would be $46.00-ish. (Close to what it would have been if Id have paid full price, right?) Well, I was anticipating being told I would need a new battery as the car dealership had informed me on my last visit that I would be needing one soon. When Tire Choice Treadquarters inspection didnt show this, I was skeptical about who was being truthful--the car dealership or this place? So I immediately took my car from this place & went across the street to Auto Zone to have the battery tested...Sure enough it said BAD BATTERY as plain as day...less than 10 minutes after my inspection was done. I feel that they were not truthful, probably did not inspect my vehicle properly & they will never, ever, ever get my business again nor will I recommend anyone visit. If I could, I wouldnt even give a star.
