Been with Morningstar since they took over this location from Devon and it has been an EXCELLENT experience! The property managers are friendly and helpful, especially Krista. Any maintenance issues Ive had were handled in a timely manner. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of facility, they allow 24 hour access, I see them picking up trash and keeping the facility clean. Their customer service is easy to reach and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I have 1 unit and a parking space. I have had zero issues and when I needed to expand the staff was very helpful and courteous. Would definitely recommend over any of the other storage facilities in the area.

Bugs, frequent rate increases and theft the staff could care less about. My camper was broken into and the staff didn’t even seem interested. During one of the rate increases my I didn’t change my banks auto pay fast enough and when I wrote them a check for the outstanding balance they apply it to the wrong account. Then when I talk to them they explain how it is my fault, only to later realize during the same call they actually did screw up. This place USED TO BE great. I’ve been a customer for maybe 8-10 years. I haven’t had any problems until it became Morning Star.

Rental process was made less efficient by Covid, but local personnel were exceptionally courteous and cooperative. Unit was clean and pricing was reasonable, especially with free month. I would recommend to anyone looking for short term storage in Summerville.

I requested for a unit the night before & had the best customer service from MorningStar as well as being the best priced units close to my home I say they are GOLDEN :) With current COVID concerns they still had someone on site to make my “moving in” easy and convenient for me, also no required lease time, only accommodating my needs for storage as long as I need - without adding pressure of signing 12 month contract made my decision easy. Very knowledgeable about what they can offer & had my cost as a primary focus so I didn’t have to pay for whatever isn’t needed made my experience with Morningstar one that I will recommend to anyone I know that needs extra space or looking for a place they can trust with their belongings for any period of time.

Great experience...manager very personable, helpful in assisting with the proper size unit i needed to store my belongings. She explained how the service worked and assisted me with finding the most cost effective package that would suit my budget. The customer service rep was willing to help search for a cart when i was ready to move my belongings. The only negative issue was having to search different areas of the facility to find a moving cart which was time consuming and irritating since i was on a tight time schedule.Thus far Im very pleased with the entire office staff with all their assistance. The facility is neat & clean and easy to access. I do feel that more carts could be made available and placed in a certain area so customers have easier access to use. Over all Im very pleased with all the services that I was offered and the willingness of the staff to help make me feel welcomed to their facility.Id highly recommend Devon to those looking for a great storage facility!

Very clean and well kept stowage. Ive been renting a space for boat stowage for almost a year. The property manager Ametria Butler-Kid s pleasant personality and clear professionalism is the reason that when I needed extra stowage for some furniture I knew where to go. There are a lot of stowage places out there professional people like Ms.Butler-Kid is what will keep me choosing Morningstar.

The customers service was great,Tina was really helpful, fast processing and informative. We shopped around and found Devon to be the best for what we wanted. Was disappointed that the price went up after 30 days, after we found Devon to be the best for the money, they raised the price. We still went with Devon but I now feel unsure of why the prices are changed. My first visit to put things in my unit the exit gate was wide open. No one there just left open to anyone at 2 am.

Ametria, Donna, and Mr. Ed are all terrific! The level of service and hospitality they offer is dynamite. While there are tons of different storage unit options in the area, I highly recommend this location/business because of the staff and their commitment to the client experience. I live out of state, and they have been extremely instrumental in helping me from afar, as well as with odd-ball tasks & requests when I am in town. The facilities and resources are great too. I have been with them for a year and have been 110% satisfied with my decision to use their location. So long as I need storage space, I will do business with them. If you are looking for a storage unit for any purpose, this is where you need to be!

Ametria, Courtney, and her team at Morningstar Storage have been terrific. Jennifer Dasta and I have had a storage unit at this location for years and have been impressed by their friendliness, professionalism, and customer service. Ametrias knowledge of Morningstars policies and willingness to satisfy a customer is unmatched. When we finally had to move our storage unit closer to home, Ametria helped us secure a Morningstar unit near us. They were also able to make phone calls and assist us with donating some of our belongings rather than moving them. We highly recommend Morningstar for your storage needs!

Christina and Chris were quite helpful, in person and over the phone...Christina was very easy to talk to and made things quite smooth...They both gave me every bit of info that I needed and were very patient & understanding...If I had to rate something less than 5 stars it would have to be the use of your tablet to sign and initial multiple times...The way its setup was quite uncomfortable for me and I am sure to a degree it is for any other renter or person working there, especially to have to lean over the high bar area of the office with there desk/counter space in the way as well...Other than that, I was extremely happy with everything...THANKS!!!!!

The staff here is great. BUT, the climate controlled storage area can FLOOD. the insurance they make you buy does NOT cover this, read the fine print (the difference between water damage & flood damage). found this out the hard way when they wouldnt cover the damage to my belongings in my unit. consider yourself warned...

Excellent Customer Service by AMETRIA *day 1UPDATE: Ametria LIED: Months later I came by to get supplies, it was 100°/102 heat index.No Ametria - Courtney advised me that all my artwork was NOT IN A CLIMATE controlled unit!!All my art suffered for months heated in there. I was SICK. I had to pay Courtney and an employee to help me quickly move it all into a cool unit (in reverse) that very day, 10x20 packed. We were all sick from the heat that day moving so many carts back and forth. Ametria sold me a climate controlled unit. Ametria LIED. Courtney said, Ametria knew THAT unit wasnt controlled. Ive requested credit from Corporate after speaking with new lady Krista still sick over this.

I called to get rates and got corporate and they gave me a rate then i told them that i found the same thing cheaper they did not try to help me so i hung up and was going to the other place when the manager call me and asked me who had a better rater and worked with me i am very happy with the store but not corporate
