We were driving through town trying to get home to Alabama when our car broke down. I saw P3 Automotive had great reviews online so we chose to take our business here. They were able to take us in right away first thing Monday morning when they were “slammed” with business. They also drove almost TWO HOURS out of town and back to get our car part quickly instead of waiting for it to ship- so we didn’t have to pay for another night in a hotel! I cannot recommend a better business for car service. These people truly care about their customers.

As a woman it can be nerve wracking to get car work done in fear of getting screwed over or not taken seriously— but the guys who run this shop are professional and kind. They checked my car over in a timely manner and didn’t find anything wrong, so they didn’t charge me (despite me taking up their time). Overall I had a great experience with this business and I would use them again next time I have a car problem.

The P3 brothers are the best, and I’m glad I found them. I used them for a tune-up and a couple of oil changes the past couple of months. Recently, my vehicle failed to start. I assumed it was the battery, so I took the battery to the battery store. The battery was fine, so I called P3. Instead of having me tow it to the shop, they came to my house and fixed it in under two minutes. They didn’t charge me for it, even when I tried to force payment on them. This is how they treat their customers - over and above. Thanks guys!

Jeremy arranged for me to come in almost immediately, took the time to explain the potential issues hed be looking for and the potential fixes as well as the associated costs. He was detailed & thorough, and very responsive/communicative. He was able to do the repairs same day and has won a returning customer. He and the staff were very nice and professional.

So glad to find an honest mechanic. I took my sons car in for a check engine light saying it had an evaporative emission leak (not from the gas cap) to a large chain parts/repair shop on Apalachee Parkway and they told him it would be over $900 to repair. I then took it to P3 Automotive and they diagnosed it and charged me $256.80 to fix it!! This is the second time I have used this shop and both times they were awesome. This is also the first time I have ever written a review for any mechanic anywhere. If you want great work and a fair price this is the place.

Blew a head gasket on our old Chrysler while evacuating Hurricane Matthew. The crew at P3 suggested a block sealer treatment that got the car running again and got us back home without sinking a bunch of money into a car we are ready to retire. Couldnt ask for more a honest or affordable solution on such short notice. If I lived closer, I think theyd be my go-to mechanic shop. Thanks again!

I am from out of town so I took my car to P3 because my parents really love the service there. I have to agree with them! The guys found a clogged drain near my sunroof that was causing rain water to leak onto the driver’s side floor and they unclogged it at no charge! Very courteous and opened every door for me too. Sometimes it is the little things. I’ll be bringing my car here when I visit my parents from now on.

I had an emergency crack in my slave cylinder this week. P3 replaced it last year. I guess I just wanted you to know that they honored the warranty, which kind of saved my life. You can trust them.

Heard about these guys from someone at work. Great experience, took my car in for a trip check and an oil change, they only charged me for the oil change, and less than what the lube shop wanted. They diagnosed why I was feeling an occasional vibration in the peddles but were honest about its non-severity when they knew I needed to drive halfway across the country and could have easily scared me into getting more work done. Have already recommended them to a friend.

These guys are fantastic. I had them replace a couple of engine sensors a few months ago, and one of them failed. Despite the fact that I was in Tampa at the time, they helped me find a place to repair the part at no cost. Trustworthy and they will not leave you holding the bag after the fact.

The only place I take my car, great service and reasonable prices. They can service any make or model. I first came there when I needed a 50,000 mile service that a dealer quoted me $500+, P3 did it for $150. Ill never go anywhere else.

I depend upon my van for business deliveries. When the alternator died, P3 fixed it very quickly, and their price was very reasonable. Though I didnt end up needing it, I discovered their tow rate was very reasonable also - not the price that takes advantage of your desperate situation.They will also take the time to explain things to you, even about unrelated problems, without trying to sell you more work. Its obvious to me that they are very honest, knowledgeable people.Go there!

Needed evaporator and heater cores for an 05 Lexus GX470 - a +$1K job that requires removing the entire dash down to the bulkhead. Many shops wont even do this kind of work, saying it is too involved. I had already received 3 quotes for the job and tried P3 on a strong recommendation from a friend; their quote was as low or lower than anyones. They were very professional, were fast, did an excellent job, and did not deviate from the quote. A/C has been humming along ever since. What else could you ask for? I have since recommended them to friends, and will use them again.

P3 is the only place my parents and I take any of our cars for service. They do honest and amazing work on both foreign and domestic cars. I had an SUV for six years that they had always done the work on, the last time I dropped it off for them to look at when I was out of town because the light was on and it was acting up. Before doing any work they called me and let me know that I should consider trading it in because of the amount of work it needed. My parents and I (and our friends) trust them with our cars completely. While I was trying to find a new car they checked out two that I was seriously considering buying and let me know their honest opinions of the cars and the average cost for common issues that go wrong with them. They are very thorough in their work. To a college student they can be pricey but you get what you pay for.

Honesty, Integrity and Reliability. Its not easy finding a repair shop with these qualities. P3 Automotive has always exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I will never take another auto to P3 Auto. I used them for years because I like the mechanics. I had a PT Cruiser that I bought used and it had continual problems with overheating. I had it fixed several times at P3. Last year two weeks after the last repair, the car overheated and the engine had to be repaired. I expected the owner to take some responsibility for the engine but he refused. He advised me to trash the car. I had him do the repair anyway and the mechanics did a good job. I paid $1,500. Last week the owner was very insulting when I brought my grandsons Rodeo in to be checked out. Maybe he was angry that I (a mere woman) challenged himn about the PT cruiser. He said it looked like someone was living it it (none of his business) then after keeping the Rodeo 24 hours, refused to work on it because it was filthy (not true). He said the car should be trashed just like he did for the PT Cruiser. He said no one would replace the windshield (none of his business). He had the same insulting conversation with my husband who had recently driven the Rodeo and knew it was not filthy. Thankfully, when my grandson went to pick up the car, he did not talk to the owner. A mechanic told him they were afraid to put it up on the lift as the windshield was cracked. The mechanics have good customer service skills which is why I was willing to use P3 as long as I did. A friend recommended Tire Town on South Monroe. They were respectful which we appreciated after the experience with P3. The repairs costs less than any repair I ever had done at P3.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! We purchased a new Tahoe with a 6 suspension lift and wanted to be sure the alignment was correct. We reached out to Minco who referred us to P3, saying P3 handles all our alignments. My husband brought my Tahoe to P3 and was met by an older gentleman in the office who refused to even look at my truck. He was belligerent, rude, and downright unprofessional. He insisted that You cannot align a truck with a 6 suspension lift. It just cannot be done. The truck will never be right again. The alignment will never be right. My husband explained that while he understands lifting a truck may alter the alignment some, they should be able to put it on the rack and get the alignment close to perfect. At this time, the older gentleman pointed his finger towards my husband’s face and yelled What dont you understand? You cannot align a truck with a 6 lift! Obviously, having driven lifted trucks much of his life my husband knew this was not accurate information. In addition, if Minco uses P3 to handle all their alignments and Minco is known for installing lifts, what is P3 doing with the trucks sent from them? This disgraceful service, belligerent attitude, and blatant disrespect is what warrants this review. After this experience, my husband left P3, called Sirmons Alignment & Brake and was encouraged to bring the truck in. My husband explained the treatment and experience at P3 and was reassured the alignment could be done. In less than hour, my truck was off the rack and the alignment was perfect. Dont waste your time or money at P3; they dont deserve it.

I brought my car in for a tune up and they tagged on an $1800 bill for what they called needed repairs (replacing all sensors, catalyst converter swap, coolant flush, motor mounts). I chose to get a second opinion and after diagnostics were run nothing was found to be wrong with my car (except for a needed motor mount replacement) Why did they lie?. They were deceitful in assessing the repairs. I will never go back there.

A lot of places around town will see that I am a woman and think they may be able to pull something over on me. A friend recommended P3 to me when I was having some air conditioner problems....I was scared! I was thinking I was going to spend some big bucks on it...I arrived at their shop and I was told that they may not be able to get to even looking at it until the end of the day. The next day they discovered a loose valve leaking out freon; I was not charged that day and was told to drive it around until the freon had a chance to leak to find where it was. Unfortunately the freon leaking was not the only problem; the blower motor had to be replaced. The freon replacement and blower motor were under $400. I believe it was a fair price and these Gentlemen treated me honestly and did not over promise anything. I would recommend this automotive shop to everyone especially women.

For anyone looking for an honest mechanic - dont look any further! P3 Automotive has been recommended to me by many! When my college friend was here this weekend escaping from Hurricane Matthew and had car trouble I sent her there. It turns out her car has reached its end of life but she said Mr. Peavy was very gracious and offered her free advice because he thought it was the neighborly thing to do under the circumstances. Thank you to him and his staff for making a difficult situation a little easier! Shes heading home in a rental car and hoping theres no damage to her property. Paying for repairs for a car that would only break down again soon was the last thing she needed now. Im taking my own car to P3 soon!

I had my radiator fixed with them. After that I kept having issues with my car. Something else needed to be fixed or not working properly. When I asked about an estimate for a job they said they never worked on a Chrysler 300m when clearly I brought it to them before. I mentioned it again and they denied again. After putting two and two together, I strongly think that they fixed the car unsure of how it was built or did whatever and gave it back to me. The car stopped working all together and now I have to get a new one.

We have always been happy with the work, price, and business etiquette of P3.
