Great service at a very reasonable price. They fixed a corroded battery terminal and wire that had kept my car from starting one morning. I got same-day service and repairs, and was able to drive my car home after work that day. Great work!

Repair was outside of what their shop handles and appreciate their honesty in telling me that instead of trying to wing it. I went to this shop after no luck with corporate auto shop. My car was stuttering and was under warranty. Andrew answered and fit me in within 10 minutes of me calling. We can dropped everything and came out to my car. He gave me and honest evaluation and spent time really listening to me. We made a plan and he could of taken advantage of the car being under warranty but instead did research and for a factory solution that required no cost! He even sent me to the dealership with a print out of exactly what needed to be done and check on me after I called the dealership. AMAZING PLACE, please send your college students here if you are worried about being taken advantage of.

The owner, Andrew, took on the job (with a very fair price) and after receiving the parts had it fixed and running in no time.Now my Sentra runs like a champ, good as new!Not only was I was impressed with how knowledgeable he was but also at how much business he had and how many referrals he recieved just the short time I was there.One woman said and I quote Its nice to find somebody whos honest! I remarked to Andrew that his business name must be fitting.Thats not all: he noticed my tire was a little low. He checked it out and I had run over a nail or something (oops). So he zipped the tire off, patched it and re-zipped it back on. I didnt even realize what he had done until after he was done and he told me :pAnd one more thing thing about my experience that I am VERY thankful for Andrew to notice: my brake lights were out!Literally, within 3 minutes he diagnosed the problem (some sort of rubber doo-hicky on the brake pedal and a connector?) and within 5 minutes, I had working tail lights.I was unaware they werent functioning so this not only saved me from getting a ticket, but quite possibly prevented a serious accident.I highly recommend Honest Auto Fix and if my car ever needs serviced in the future (and it will) its the only shop Id go to.

I had a tire that needed to be plugged and a leak which I thought was the radiator. Andrew thoroughly explained the problem so I could understand and he plugged my tire for free! Also, my hood was not latching properly, and after I got my van back I noticed he had fixed that, too! No charge! Great business, Ill definitely be going back when I need auto repair!

Its great to have one place that handles whatever my car needs. Even having a hybrid, I trust them to handle the regular maintenance as well as any issues that come up.

Andrew was very nice and I felt like I could trust him based off our conversation about my car. When I brought it in I explained in further detail. I was having issues with it randomly cutting off I was told at different locations that it was probably an electrical issue. I took it to two different places before bringing it to them. The other places were saying that the car was running fine and they couldn’t find what the issue was causing the car to cut off. I went to him and explained what the other places thought it might’ve been; which was a throttlebody issue. After discussing with him, he said that he felt confident that they could find and fix the issue and we proceeded to start on it. Cutting to the chase it was $400 for them to replace my throttlebody. After they replaced it my car was still cutting off. I had it towed back up there and after a day he said that he couldn’t find an issue and basically told me to come and pick up my car. This was frustrating to me because I had already paid them for what seems to be absolutely no reason at all. I ended up taking it to another dealership after this one and they were able to find the issue which was a separate issue dealing with a harness. I guess I was just very disappointed that I was charged for some thing that they weren’t confident about after they assured me that they could do it. I feel that I was gypped out of my money. And ultimately it just made me feel like I had obviously made the wrong choice by going to them.

Always very honest about what needs to be fixed and what you can wait on if youre on a budget. Once saved me about $4000 when one other mechanic told me I needed a new transmission and it turned out I just had a transmission fluid leak. Never going anywhere else in Tallahassee again.

We got a flat at my friends house nearby on a Sunday. Honest Auto initially won our business because they were close to her house. I called the number Monday afternoon and let them know I dropped a car off over the weekend and it needed a tire fixed. All pretty standard.But what blew me away is that I never had to step foot in a shop, move the car, or pick up the phone to call anyone the rest of the process.Mechanic needed more info? They texted me from a business number.Didnt have the key in it? Swing by and drop it on a desk.Couldnt pay or pick it up during business hours? No problem, electronic invoice.Let me say it again for the people with anxiety: You dont have to call anyone or research anything. Drop your car off and be done with it.Also it was basically cost of the tire + $15, if I remember correctly. Great deal.

I Was leaving town and needed some work done. They got me right in, did some of the most professional, thorough and inexpensive work I’ve ever had done to my 2013 Honda odyssey.It’s a little off the beaten path in the back of a warehouse complex. The shop was clean. Had some SFB coffee while I waited.I would definitely come back to Honest Auto Fix for more work.

It is very difficult to find a knowledgeable diesel mechanic who truly understands the engines. Andrew knew every thing about our 7.3 engine so we felt so comfortable with him working on our engine. I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew, his wife and one of their employees earlier this week when I brought my car in because my A/C stopped blowing cold air. Andrew drove my car around back to diagnose the problem. Ten minutes later he came and explained the A/C was blowing cold air again, but there may be an issue with the A/Cs clutch at some time in the future. He suggested I continue to drive it and come back (if I want to) if I have any issues down the road.My car is as cool as ever, I met some really nice people and I was not charged one cent. Andrew is, as the business name states, an honest mechanic. He is also a very good mechanic. He installed a new timing belt, water pump and gaskets on my Lexus IS300. I also needed a quick turn-a-round on a new radiator and he was able to work it in. It is so refreshing to be able to bring your car to someone you can trust who does great work. I have recommended Honest Auto Fix to friends and family and they all have had good experiences as well. Highly recommended!

Andrew even cleaned the acid-corroded battery cable just because I mentioned it. Took it to the dealer, they saw the corroded cable, and left it corroded.
