Worst car experience I ever encountered.They will rip you off and will not fix your cat.

Dont go here, they will sale you a bad car, then give you the run around about it. Take your payments and then put your car in discovery, to be picked up. 😠😠

Do not go here .. service is terrible paying the bill is terrible. The people that work there esp the women, terrible. Once my car paid off in a year, I will never have to deal with that place again. I got my car here from American car center, and I’ve been with them for about a year now, next February makes 2 years. My car is already having transmission problems or some issues with the engine. Its like I can’t turn it to much or press on the gas pedal or the beeping noise comes on, and it says, “shift car into Park” and my car shuts off so I have to press the push to start, and then push it to turn it on. And it’s trying to start but it takes a-little while. They referred me to AMMCO, and my car had been in there parking lot for always 2 weeks. I get no call no pick up from them, no communication from them on what’s going on. American car center I call them trying to get ahold of someone everyday, nobody picks up there phone…I go up to American car center I talk to Terrance about what’s going on he shows no concern, no sincere, what so ever. And he knew that AMMCO was closed. I get no communication or reach out from American car center what so ever about what’s going on…so im clueless and i am reaching out but nobody is reaching out to me or picking up my calls. Just horrible customer service when I pay more than what I’m supposed to pay on my payments for that car and this is the service I get …..just terrible. If I could a got my car from somewhere else I would of, or if I could trade my car in and go to a different car dealership, I would.

American Car Center may have good customer service when first purchasing the vehicle. However, we have had nothing but trouble with the vehicle since leaving the lot. Spending thousands of dollars trying to fix the vehicle, only to get to a point of the vehicle not being worth fixing and are now out of a vehicle. We were originally told they would wipe out the loan if deemed not worth fixing but as we went along in the process, we are now being told the only way for them to do that is to lease another vehicle from them or it will be counted as a repossession. This company as a whole is terrible and only wants to keep customers that are in need of a little help credit wise to be put in a ridiculous cycle of giving trash cars that will only be junk in a short period of time. This is why they push for people to leave positive reviews as soon as they leave the lot to attract others to come. I do NOT recommend anyone getting a vehicle from American Car Center!

I don’t usually do reviews but here goes. Before I actually went to American Car Center to get a car, I had tried pretty much every dealership even Direct Auto exchange. No one would give me a car. I had already even told that ACC would definitely be able to help me. I was able to get a 2017 Kia Sportage even though I was still in the process of rebuilding my credit after a ch7. They were very pleasant and I did not have to spend ALL DAY up there! It was the best car buying experience I have had to date! Thanks Truvaughn and Terrance!

Wasn’t in a hurry to get a car but I kept receiving phone calls from them to get one because they had one in my price range. So I go get the car the next day the engine light came on took it to pep boys like they asked me too and I’ve been waiting almost a week now for the car to be repaired. As soon as they fix one problem another issue occurred. I’ve been calling the dealership to see if I was going to be compensated in anyway for having to take a Uber and Lyft every day since Thursday but he would not return my phone calls I’m really starting to think that he sold me a lemon and I’m getting really frustrated with them.

American Car Center is a great place to get a car and I would recommend everyone that I can to go and get a car from them, great customer service, I love it. The reason I put 4 stars is because Ive tried calling to a payment deferred due to I ran into a hardship during this pandemic, however I was put on hold for a long time and I called like 3 days back to back, but I was still put on hold, no one never called me back, so Ive had to take a Loan out to pay my payment which put me into debt more.

I got a car from here in December 2019, in the beginning of May I started having issues with the push to start feature. The car would not start immediately, I would have to sit and wait for the car to want to start. I immediately called American car center and let them know what was going on. They told me to take the vehicle to capital city auto. The morning that I went to start the car it would not start at all. I had to have the car towed to capital city auto. I bought new batteries to put in the car and paid for a brand new battery out of pocket thinking that was initial issue. I took the car back. The car continued to have the same issues so I called back the warranty company and they told me to take it back. The mechanic let me know that they would have to remove the gps tracking system that was installed in the car in order to fix the issue and the warranty company hates when they have to do that. I leave the mechanic thinking that they would fix it but instead I got a call from capital city telling me that I have to come back and pick up my car. He told me that the warranty company would not approve for my vehicle to be repaired! I came back and picked up the car and the very next day the car returned to having the same issues! The warranty company called me to see if everything was resolved and I told them NO! She didn’t give me any type of resolution. Neither did Terrance the manager. On Wednesday of last week the vehicle would not start and I was stuck in the rain. I called Terrance and told him that this is ridiculous and he said he was going to reach out to the warranty company. They called me and again told me to take my vehicle back up there. Now my car had been up there for 5 days, I have not been offered a rental or a credit for having the car towed, the Lyft and ubers that I have had to take back and forth to work but on Friday they want their full payment for the vehicle. Please take heed from my mistake of getting a car from here! They’re unprofessional, will give you a lemon and do not care! Go somewhere where your money is appreciated and where you won’t be paying for something you’re not even driving! Not one apology has been given, this is beyond poor customer service.

If you enjoy driving a vehicle that has more history than you then come here. My suggestion is that if you believe all these good reviews on this website how about seeking the better business bureau and consumer protection websites along with finding all the reviews across the country of American car center in each state of the horrific stories that people are incurring with a vehicle not worth the price they charge you be sure to do a car fax or auto chek give no one money nor signature until you are satisfied with it and your willing to take on the problems you will have. Be prepared to spend more time on find protection for yourself as they dont care about helping you all they care about is check mating you and your credit.

Dont ever get a car here they are total RIP offs all your doing is paying for a rental car every week and if you lost your job took a pay cut or anything they will not try to work with you they dont care all they do is sell you high mileage cars with little to no value they call and harass you if your two days late or 10 days like your a month or two behind or something come on if a person already have a late fee after one day why does it matter when you make a payment long as your not a month or two behind it shouldnt matter these people are the worst especially to the low income beware and they always have attitudes when you talk to them if you already have a car from these people start over and get another car from somewhere else you will come out much better return the car and get another one its not worth the amount they charge let alone the high insurance

I thought it was a good idea to get a car from there because I didnt have one with I would of went else were never was told I will be leasing a car meaning the car is never mines they added 6000 additional to my balance I might as well should of bought Mercedes ppaying all that money

Taking down payments as if he had a dealership! He was recently arrested and is currently going thru court about the stolen cars. Keep an eye on all of your personal information! We were looking for a late model, low mileage car for our daughter that was good on gas. Our credit wasnt the best so we needed a financing solution that would work for us. My wife came across some ads on Facebook for American Car Center and saw some cars that we were interested in and contacted Cedric Brinson. We drove down from Cairo and met with Cedric and was able to get in to a 2017 Hyundai that was very clean and just what we were looking for. We highly recommend American Car Center. Go see Cedric and the staff and on Tennessee St and they will get you what you need. Awesome experience!!!

I f I could give them Zero stars I really would. I went here to get a car and was approved for a 2015 Toyota Corolla for $1500 down by Eddie Horne, everything went good I was approved the accepted my down payment a week and a half later I received a call stating I was not approved for the car and would need to return it. I returned the car no problem and was expecting a full refund as Eddie told me I would receive via the way I paid which was a debit card. 3-4 days later I received a refund of $750.00 and was given the explaition that they had to take some miscellaneous fees and that’s the refund they came up with. Eddie empathized with my family gave us his word he would get us in a reliable car and turned around and Scammed us. SMH😡

THE $500 DOWN CLAIM IS DESIGNED TO FOOL THE CUSTOMER INTO THINKING THEY OFFER AFFORDABLE ARRANGEMENTS. UPON SIGNING, I HAD TO COME UP WITH MUCH MORE MONEY. I SIGNED UP FOR AUTOMATIC DEDUCTION BUT GOT MIXED UP THINKING MY FIRST PAYMENT WOULD COME OUT ON THE THIRD OF THE MONTH. I ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLE PAYED FOR THE EXPENSIVE INSURANCE THEY REQUIRE. BOTTOM LINE WHEN I DISCOVERED THE PROBLEM IT WAS AFTER THE CAR WAS REPOSSESSED. WHEN I TRIED TO CORRECT IT THEY REFUSED, SAYING THAT I MISSED MY DEFERRED DOWN PAYMENT 😲 THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THAT TERM. WITH THE UTMOST SMUGNESS IN, I WAS TOLD THAT THE VEHICLE WAS GONE TO ME & NOW A SENIOR CITIZEN ON A RETIREMENT INCOME IS OUT ALMOST $1000 & NO VEHICLE. I WILL GO TO YELP, CONSUMER AFFAIRS & ANY PLACE I CAN TO WARN THE LOWER INCOME COMMUNITY TO BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY WHO IS IN THE BUSINESS OF TAKING YOUR TRUST & MONEY.

Theres a man Cedric Bronson who works here, claims to be the lead salesman. He posts vague ads on Facebook with 1 generic picture of the vehicle, no info on the dealership, then is insulting and rude when you say youll shop elsewhere. If this is how they treat perspective clients Id hate to see what they try to sell to people.

The tallahassee America Car credit has false advertising. They tell you 500 or 750 down and no credit check its a lie. They do go by your credit. Your payments is high. People you will come out better going to a pay here buy here if you want to get swindled out of your money.
