This used to be a good place, now is run by children who have no clue about firearms.

Sold me a gun that came up stolen in the database and was taken away from me.I was treated like a criminal/detained and what not, not fun.Ive bought 4 guns from them and this was the first used one but Ill never but a used gun from them or another pawn shopMight not be their fault but it still happened

I read the bad reviews here and thought Id give them the benefit of the doubt and check them out. While I was there a $100 power tool (that was rightly priced for being used and in a pawnshop) grabbed my attention. While looking at it one of the came over, asked if I was interested in it. Right after I said yes, I was, he grabbed in up from in front of me and said it was wrongly priced. He didnt even give me the opportunity to buy it at the marked price. He just took it back behind the counter and told one of the other guys it was under-priced by $50, that he found it online for $250. I looked the model up on my phone, the $250 was an obscure retailer and not a national chain store like. I also found the same model on ebay, new and with a buy it now price that was $10 more than what they marked it up to.Worst case they are very shady in how they do business and should definitely be avoided. Best case, they care so little for their reputation and their customers view of them that they would rather make an extra $50 than to take advantage of an opportunity to build a good and favorable image. The irony is, I just moved here and I am looking to completely rebuild my tool collection. If I had bought the tool (and thats a big if), the $50 they would have lost would have been more than made up for in other purchases. No to mention that I am also an avid gun collection with a respectable collection that I am constantly adding to.

The staff is friendly and everything is reasonable. Layaway is an option without all the extra fees. So Excited about my new Dell touch screen laptop that I purchased last week. Ive had it looked at by professionals and was told I got a Dang good machine for the price I paid .

These people are GREAT! I have purchased many guns and other things from them and ALWAYS been more than happy with what I got AND the service I received. I read the prior reviews and wonder if they reviewed the correct place, because their reviews couldnt be any farther from the multiple experiences that I have had. Some people just write bad reviews because they didnt get their way. I will continue to use this business and highly recommend them to all including you!

Owner is the least helpful in the whole building. Mean attitude, doesnt even know what hes talking about. I understand how pawn shops make money but darn, dont insult people with your offers and mannerism.

Employee was rude, complained to another employee about me asking if they had any consoles, and the prices on everything were too high. Would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a pawn shop to visit.

Bought a gun here 2 days ago, when I got it home I realized it had no sights on it, tried to return for store credit or something but the owner wouldnt work with me at all. No one in Tallahassee understands good customer service anymore and will sell junk just to make a buck off of people.

Went in to inquire about purchasing my first firearm, the service rep (Scott. I think his name is?) was incredibly helpful and patient with my learning curve. Great service and prices that compete.

Had a Wasr 10 Ak47 transferred through Tallahassee Gun and Pawn. Guy at the counter was helpful and knowledgable, offered to fix up one of the surplus mags that came in a little beat up. I’ve been to a few gun shops in the area and none were nearly as helpful as these guys.They had a large selection of pistols and some pretty unique rifles and shotguns. As well as the usual pawn shop stuff.

These guys are a joke I stepped out of my comfort zone to come here just to try to save time on my lines at pawn stores that give you a deal I brought in a brand new $160 tool before we discussed what I was wanting I told the man behind the counter I bought this two weeks ago a 160 bucks he said not for us today I said what is that supposed to mean he didnt really have an answer which was expected at that point I knew what I was dealing with another crooked pawn shop theres a Florida law when it comes to pawn shops I would recommend everybody look into because places like this need to be shut down luckily Im not in a vulnerable situation with many people are that they take advantage of and they screw over

This place is a joke and down right dishonest. After telling the owner that I had never been there before, I was informed that the diamonds in my ring were not real. This particular ring was serviced by my private jeweler with the diamonds authenticated. He was plain and simply trying to rip me off. There is a sign above the counter stating that certain things would not be tolerated in the shop with cursing included. I guess misrepresentation and thievery are. Shame on you!

They dont even deserve one star. Practically new gun (bought in February) and they tried to give me the under under value of the gun. Theyre going to sell it for about the same price I bought it for. I did not want full price either. I took off damn near $100.

Terrible business ethics... bought a compressor from them, then took it in to pawn it. The cord plug in was messed up when we bought it, but now they will not take it as a pawn the way they sold it. Said that it was a fire hazard... nobody was concerned about that when they sold it.... the big guy that sold it to us left the room when we complained. Do not shop here!!!!!!!!

I have been purchasing firearms and some clothing items there for at least 20 years. The sales personnel know the products and have always provided great service.

I just went by there to check out their gun prices. All I can say is WOW used guns priced 100+ above new gun prices. I compared 3 guns while in the shop and was floored. Im not joking when I say these guys make a living on each sale. The staff some (big overweight) guy was rude as hell. I asked him if his process were comparable to Sports Academy he said I wouldnt tell you if we were Really? is this how you run a business. My advice, Do not deal with this pawn shop!

I wouldnt go back to this place even if they were offering free ammunition they are blatantly rude here the service is terrible piss-poor attitude nonchalant about everything do not want to negotiate even a little I came there to purchase two guns and the price was overbearing and then when I asked one of the guys to work me a deal on the two guns he replied if I dont like the price I can go elsewhere and then he had his father come over and his father said hes not going to adjust the price for me it was very overpriced their service was rude I wouldnt go back at all I took my business to Red Hills Arms off of Capital Circle and I bought two handguns brand new for the price of one of their guns

The worst pawnshop I have ever been to. All of the things at that place are over priced. All of the staff at that pawnshop will rip you off given the chance like they did me. Dont be like me, go buy your things from any other place but that pawnshop. I hope someone and avoids getting ripped off.
