Very recently I attended Gamestop with my best friend in order to look at games for our Nintendo Switch. Upon entering the store I was greeted by an employee who gave me a paper that indicated the upcoming sales and offers and clarification of any questions. However, my greatest issue with my experience is that he completely ignored my best friend. Theres no doubt in my mind that she was not given the same service as I was due to her gender. These decisions are part of the reason why women gamers often feel isolated or unwelcome into gaming communities and ignoring a customer based on their gender is a norm I will not support . I will no longer be shopping at this Gamestop and hope that you wont either until they make it clear that they value ALL customers.

The store and employees are always nice any time we go in. Its harder to get in and out due to being inside the mall but I still enjoy stopping by when near.

Jason the employee was TREMENDOUS and helped my husband out with our PS4!! it was in safe mode, and we did not know how to fix it. Jason instructed us how to fix it step-by-step and directed us to the ps4 website to get the re-installation file! he did not have to help us at all, but his advice and his time was much appreciated! he saved us so much money in having to take it in and it being repaired. Thanks so much, Jason! you rock! God bless!

Great Store and super friendly staff.

A nice place to get games but the lie. The games are over priced. They claim to have an exchanging program but omly give you like $1 for you used game even if its a new one that just came out. It takes forever to get a reward on there loyalty or club program. Theres always a long wait and most likely they wont have the game or system you need in stock. Everything has to bw shipped to you.. Its really a hasstle. Personally I recommend you just get it off Amazon. Come here for a great but expensive game selection, long wait time service and game swapping.

Friendly staff. Double checked my order for me before sending me off, which was nice because they actually did make a mistake! Handled it nicely and quickly. One of the few gamestops Ive been to where the staff is passionate about their jobs and games, and arent there to just bother you and push sales hard-core. Good selection of games also.THEY DO HAVE THE PS5 SO CHECK IT OUT ASAP.. This will be my gamestop of choice in the area.

Friendly staff and okay prices, follows social distancing guidelines with only a certain number of people in the store. Since the store is so small, this usually means theres a line to get in.

They had the game we wanted. The store clerk suggested we get a Micro SD for the Switch game. We walked the mall and went back in asking if they had any of the cards and i was told they were sold out. We were looking more for somethibg else and i saw 4 boxes on the shelf for micro sd cards. I asked for the price on one of them and was told were sold out completely when asked why they have empty product on the shelf i was told were required to display all of our products even if its out of stock. So in other words this Gamestop isnrequired to provide FALSE ADVERTISEMENT by having empty box product visible on the shelf even if they are sold out. Was told it was Corporate that requires it. @gamestop #gamestop

Will never shop at GameStop again. The store did an online order for me in December 2019 for a Christmas gift for my son since they were out of the item I wanted at the store. My son asked several times to confirm she was ordering a new and not a used product. She confirmed it was new. I paid extra for expedited shipping as well. Three days later on 12/19, we looked up the order status and it showed a used product. Immediately called the store and was told I had to call the online number for the item to be cancelled. Get the order canceled and was promised a refund in 3-5 business days. It is now 2/29/20 and I still do not have a refund a keep getting the run around from everyone I speak to. I call repeatedly trying to get my money back to now avail. I am filing a complaint with the BBB as well. DO NOT BUY FROM GAMESTOP!!!!!

Great place, staff is very helpful and polite. There up on all the new information about all the games and systems they sell there. And the that you can call and check if they have certain games in stoke. Overall this location is awesome. Cant really say nothing negative about this place other than, i wish the store was bigger it gets pretty cramped at times.

Very helpful staff, they buy your old stuff then you can buy someone elses old stuff or buy some new stuff with the money you got from selling your old stuff. They got alot of cool stuff. Some new and some used. So if you like cool stuff or want to sell cool stuff then you should go here. They are cool and have cool stuff.

Really like the governor’s squad location, the staff is really helpful. Not a huge fan of GameStop in general because of their buy back prices, but this location is great taking that into consideration.

This is the best game store in Tallahassee and it has the largest selection. You can find anything here. I used to go to retro age before I found out that they were ripping people off and running scams. Thank goodness there is an honest game store here locally at the mall.

GameStop is an example of where the video game industry has been failing for the last 30 years. While the different locations mean nothing and companies like to impose strict security protocols because oh my God Pirates, groups like GameStop and similar stores are the ones actually stealing money from developers and publishers. The markup untraded games makes them worthless, not to mention the additional geek related toys which are also at an extreme markup. So basically, absurdly high prices to Swindle end users. Not that anything in this business isnt...

Love this GameStop. All of staff are helpful, and take care of their customers.

The staff went out of their way to get another store to send over a Black Series Lightsaber collectible they had on sale. Only took a few days and we got our lightsabers.

This particular gamestop has very bad customer service and are very in unhelpful with everything.I could be dying on the Floor and they wouldnt help also almost everyone In there has crappy attitudes if u cant at least not be an a hole while working retail the maybe get out of that particular field of work.

Tried to call ahead. 3 times phone wasnt answered. Fourth time line terminated no pickup. Fifth time they answered, but put me on hold immediately then killed line 30 seconds after holding.

These guys are awesome, they help out with any problems you have and will assist you with anything you need.

Ill let slide that Ive heard them badmouth other game stores in the area and lie about what they offer for trade ins.Recently the wife and I went there for a free digital content bonus for a game that we each own. In the first visit I was told that they do not know anything about it. The second visit I was told that it is for pre-orders only. On the third visit I pointed out that the poster for the giveaway states no purchase necessary. They stayed on the pre-order only statement so I pulled out the advertisement from the Gamestop website which said just come in and ask for it. I was then told, not five minutes after being told that its pre-order only, that Oh, were out of the giveaway codes. Thats what Ive been telling everyone.I understand trying to make a sale, but when it crosses the line into blatantly lying it has gone too far.
