My family and I have been coming here on and off for over 16 years. We have had nothing but great experiences with our eye exams. The doctors have always been very thorough and professional. . Melanie always goes above and beyond to help us with our contact orders and glasses. She takes her time with and makes sure we get the best deals. We enjoy coming here and we feel like we are always treated like family.

I still can’t believe the deal I got! I was expecting to pay the typical $350-$400 for my progressive lenses. I got the lenses AND frames for under $200, including warranty and taxes! Robin is the best sales person. Not pushy at all. She picked a pair of frames that I absolutely loved in less than a few minutes. I can’t wait to go back next week to see the new designer glasses they are showcasing. This place rocks!

I came to the store in Westfield Mall, Citrus Park, Tampa, FL on 10/12/2019 and ordered a new pair of vision glasses. I have been told they would have been ready within 2 weeks.At about 2 weeks they called me to say they were ready so i went to pick them up. The lenses were done wrong, i could not see anything. They tested them and confirmed the lab messed up and said they would send them back to have the lenses redone. The lady said this time shouldnt take more than a few days since it was their mistake. After 7-8 days i called and they said they still were not ready so I waited another week and on 11/9/2019 I came to the store for ask for a refund as I could not wait longer as i am leaving for a long trip.When they checked at the store, they said they had got them but had to send them back again (for some reason the lab messed up again) and that is why they had not called me yet.Then made me wait in the store for a very long time before I was able to talk to the manager which apparently is the only one who has the authority to refund money (to be fair, she said she just started 2 days ago so i dont blame her)After 45 minutes waiting I was finally able to get a refund.I am disappointed, but i hope things will get better for JC Penney Optical customers in the future. As for myself, I will never shop there again.

In December I went to JC Penny optical in Citrus Park Mall, the Dr I saw was great, the lady who took care of me, I thought was doing a good job, took the measurements, said the type of lenses she was ordering, was the best of the best. 2 weeks later I got my glasses and they had been made wrong, I couldn’t see. She said they made them wrong and sent them back to be remade. Two weeks later the second pair came back, still wrong, she reordered for the 3er time and she said the lenses will be a better quality. She had told me the first pair were the best available. Now after more than 2 months the 3ed pair of glasses are still not correct. I’ve been using glasses 40 years, this is the first time I have had such a bad experience and last time I’m going to JC penny.

I wouldnt go there if it wasnt for Melanie. She is great and always gets you the best price. Large selection of frames and do exam right there.

I highly recommend Dr. Kokoska, he is very knowledgeable and kind. My grandmother had a stroke and uses a wheel chair, so he made many accommodations inside his office for the exam and took his time examining her eyes with care, he went above and beyond for her. Thank God we found such a good Doctor.
