Its pretty clear that this body shop has little incentive to provide good customer service, because Progressive just feeds them their customers (they dont have to earn them). The first time I walked into the business, nobody was there to greet me and there were no signs indicating what I should do. I wondered for several minutes if I was in the right place. After I finally found someone to help me drop off my vehicle, they told me that I would have an estimate on time/cost of the work within one full business day, but I didnt get one until I called them myself almost three days later.That said, they were always willing to answer my questions when I called and their partnership with Enterprise helped make getting a rental car a bit smoother. Additionally, they were flexible in working with my schedule by allowing me to come pick up my finished vehicle at 7:15pm. The work they did in on the car was good and had adequately repaired the damage from a minor fender bender.
My car was damaged really bad in an accident. The staff was extremely friendly. When I got my car back not only did they vacuum my car but they shampooed my seats and even replaced all of my snap on rims. There was also a scrape on my car from a previous accident that was not included in my claim and they buffed and painted it. They definitely went above what they needed to do and now my car looks brand new inside and out.
This paint and body shop is by far the BEST shop to take your car with the best customer service in the state. The owners themselves are amazing people who truly care. My car was definitely a wreck bringing it in and they did the absolute best job and I couldn’t be any more grateful to have found them. Thank you for the best service from beginning to the end! My insurance company sent me to this shop to get my vehicle fixed after it had been damaged by thieves. After getting my vehicle back from the shop, i noticed things had been gone through inside my vehicle. I had documented by photos the conditions of both the inside and outside of my vehicle prior to taking it to the shop. I called and spoke to the manager of the shop. He was very unprofessional and wouldnt even listen to my concerns. He kept telling me i was wrong and that i was lying. Something as simple as a Im sorry and will look into this situation would have been greatly appreciated. But all i got was attitude and yelled at from the manager who stated Ive owned this shop for 20 years and this has never happened before i contacted my insurance company and they told me they wouldnt send claims to this shop in the future. I just want people who do take their vehicle to this shop, to be careful and document your personal belongings prior to taking it to them. I want to be clear, they didnt take or steal anything that i have noticed. But they did rummage through my personal item located inside my vehicle. They also left cigarette butts on my engine, that i found when i opened up my hood. Im not a smoker and they were not there when i took them the vehicle. So its obvious the butts were left there by someone at their shop. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE!

Ive tried multiple times to reach Alfredo and he asked me for info on the repairs done to my car. I have sent 4 emails since then and all I hear are crickets. Once they get the money from the insurance they could care less if your alignment is off and your tires are shot only after a few months and during COVID.I WOULDNT RECOMMEND GOING THERE, YOU MIGHT NEED ASSISTANCE later after THE WORKS DONE. To ADD TO THERE WAS EXTRA WORK THAT DIDNT NEED TO BE DONE OR CHARGED TO THE INSURANCE. IM SERIOUSLY SENDING THIS IN TO THE ARIZONA DEPT OF INSURANCE FOR REVIEW.HORRIBLE EXPENSIVE COMPANY!! That I feel is taking advantage of insurance companies and consumers by adding unnecessary charges knowing they get a discount on supplies and materials!

So I am new to Arizona and my car was hit and the insurance company suggested platinum paint and body. I was reluctant and the local dealership referred this company as well. I had scheduled an appointment and the morning of my appointment then owner called personally. I was greeted by kind warm welcoming knowledgeable staff and I felt comfortable leaving my car. My car was ready when they said it would be and fixed to my understanding that all original parts were used. They did a great job and took exceptional.care of me. I felt the work was done well it looks great and I felt the job was not rushed but done well and it looks good as new.Alfredo did a great job and even personally walked my car when I picked it up to make sure it was all completed to my satisfaction.I absolutely recommend this body shop.I typically dont recommend auto body shops as the experience is usually mediocre but this experience was great! Not to mention they offer the option to rent you a car or there is an enterprise less than a mile away. I used the enterprise rental company and they offered to drop the car off for me if need be.Above and beyond at every turn.Thank you to the entire team at platinum!

After having an accident last month where my Lexus that means so much to me,I was requiring a professional collision center that was detail oriented. In this occasion (its my second accident) I decided to do my homework and after visiting numerous locations, I decided on these guys from platinum. Truthfully this is the best decision I could’ve made. I’m extremely satisfied,happy and confident with this collision center. There are people that write bad reviews simply because the windshield might not have been cleaned etc. when one leaves a review one should be honest and I am eternally grateful for the quality of work done on my Lexus and the kindness they treated me with. This place does excellent work. If this was about the job they did on my car...then Id say 5 stars. The staff was for the most part friendly. The whole expierence was not awful. The time it took to finish the work...thats my main issue. They had my car for over a month claiming they were waiting for parts. I tried to get a loaner car from them and at first they said they dont have loaner cars there. After a couple weeks I called back and mentioned a rental and they said that all their loaners were out. So I guess they do have loaners...but know they are all out now.Bottom line..the work they did was great! Just took a little longer then i thought. I kinda felt like i was getting the runaround when I would call. They couldnt give me a relative time frame for when the job would be finished.

I first used this shop because Progressive recommended them to me. They did good work the first time I used them so a couple years later I REQUESTED to use them again through Progressive.I took my car in and they gave me a loaner vehicle just like before which was great. I accidentally rubbed the loaner against a post that holds up my covered parking where I live and when I took the loaner back to the shop I made sure they knew where the damage was as I wanted to be upfront and honest about it. It was my mistake and I owned up to it.When I got my car back ( 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic 6 Speed ) I noticed a little play in the shifter that wasnt there before. It didnt concern me at the time because I thought hey this is a shop and if they broke something they could easily fix it.This was not the case. Fast forward about 2 months while I was driving the vehicle the shifter broke loose while I was driving it. I had to quickly put on my hazards and maneuver into an apartment complex parking lot. I was stuck in third gear. I drive 2 miles to a Pep Boys and bought some vice grips to get it home. Whoever broke it had over-tightened the upper bolt and nut to try and re-secure the shifter in place.This is a car I have owned for about 5 years and driven over 50,000 miles in. I have shifted this vehicle thousands of times. I know the shifter was not broken when I took it in. I thought this over for weeks to try and determine how to get this fixed. I called the shop this morning and the female who answered simply stated that We dont drive the cars which is not true. Someone had to drive the car from where I left it to the bay where it would be worked on and then take the car out for safety test drive. Clearly this person doesnt know how the operations of this shop works.1 of 2 plausible scenarios must have happened: A) Someone at this shop does not know how to drive a manual transmission and forcefully tried to change gear and broke it; or, B) During the safety test drive some one didnt know my car has a skip shift feature to keep the vehicle from redlining and tried to force into a gear breaking the shifter.Either way, the shop broke the part and tried to hide it ( negligence ) and did not tell me about and eventually the part broke while I was driving it (felony endangerment). Stay away from this shop if you value your vehicle, your safety and the safety of your loved ones.
Great service and and very professional. Was very happy with the repairs and they even had a rental car ready for me, when i told them i was on my way to drop me vehicle. I recommend taking your vehicle here if want quality work. honestly i am very happy with the shops work and the owner.
My car was taken to this body shop after a not-at-fault accident which was covered under the other driver’s insurance. They replaced my hood, repainted some areas and repaired some dents and scratches. All was well and then a couple of years later, the paint on my hood started acting funny and fading extremely fast (almost like it was having a strange chemical reaction). I brought the car in for them to look at and the owner himself looked the car over and told me it would be covered under their paint warranty (yay!) They were very responsive and were even nice enough to get me a free rental while the work was being done. Picked it up today and the new paint looks fantastic! He said what had happened to my car was not their usual standard and so they wanted to make it right and stand behind their work. They were very honest and straightforward and made the entire process very easy. I would absolutely trust this company to work on my car. Very happy and satisfied with level of service!

I was recently in an accident and took my vehicle to Platinum Paint and Body. This was my first accident and to be honest I was worried about how the repairs would go. When I picked up my vehicle a couple of days ago they did a fantastic job. Not only that but they were very friendly about answering all of my questions, they were very professional.I would highly recommend to anyone to get work done at Platinum. Alfred and Erin are a pleasure to deal with and their work is first class.Hopefully I wont be in another accident but if I am I will definitely take my vehicle back there as well as all future work I may need.
LONG REVIEW!!.... This body shop was recommended by the dealer (Horne Hyundai in AJ) when someone hit me in a parking lot and cracked my front bumper. I got my car back yesterday (8/24). Overall the quality of the work seems great. My car looks just like it did before it got hit. The only cons I have is the time it took. I drop off the car around 7/30, I was told it would be done by Friday (8/02) unless there was more damage once the bumper was taken out. I was told they would call me if there was more damage. I was never called, so i thought there was no more damage. I called around Tuesday (8/06) and I was told they just finished it. They even asked what time i was picking it up. So I drove the next day from East mesa all the way to Tempe. I got there and I was told it had more damage. They had asked the insurance company for an extra 2-3 days. That they were sorry for the confusion. So 2 weeks go by and they never called me. I got a called finally on Saturday (8/24) and I went to pick it up. After they gave me the paper work I got in the car to leave and I see my windshield broken! Which it was not when I left it. It look like it got hit by something a little under the wipers on the passenger side. The crack spread all the way to the middle of the windshield. I was going to go back inside to let them know but honestly I needed the car back already (3 weeks without it). I decided to pay to replace it myself and just left. -1 star for the long time & -1 star for cracking my windshield and not let me know or repair it. If it wasn’t for that this would of been a perfect review because honestly the car looks great.
If you want a place that’s going to take care of you and your car, go here. They standby their work and provide very nice rental cars and are the easiest to work with. They handled my problems with the insurance company as well. I highly recommend Platinum for friends and family.

I wouldn’t recommend this Shop very unprofessional. Also you might leave with something else messed up, and they wont take the blame for it, They will just laugh in your face when you confront them. Absolutely disgusting 😂Isn’t it funny how i leave a 1 star review and all of a sudden they have people leaving 5 stars reviews who have only one reviews,sounds very fishy to me, like those accounts were created to leave 5 stars HAHAHA, keep an eye out for the investigators, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are under insurance fraud investigation next week.

Very sloppy work. Had my car fixed in April 2018 from a minor fender bender. Two months later my grill assembly which is an aftermarket part is coming apart and a crack has developed in the body filler they used on the bumper. It also appears that the hood is hung crooked and the quality of paint is very poor. I also had issues with Customer Service being dishonest with me. I would not recommend the shop to anyone.
So I came in to pick up my car after it being there for a month, and I cant say Im very happy Im more than pissed its not even ready and missing a part. So I have to wait for them to get the part and install. Not only am I pissed about that and the topper is that I should have never let them get me on there rental car. Because there filling a claim on a starch that I didnt do, so pissed I dont recommend that take your car somewhere else, I still dont have my car finished and I wasted a day because know I have to come back again cause my car is still not done. And I have to take my car back because obviously they don’t believe in test drives, My car humming on the highway shakes on the freeway and also it I can hear the air coming in from the door.I’m not looking forward to going back but I hope no one goes through what I did or am. Just take your car somewhere else. This place is just a scam to extort people for money.This place is also poor on communicating with customers on the status of their vehicle you basically have to initiate it and order to get an update on your vehicle.

Alfredo illegally cashed a repair check without my signature to start repair before I ever even got to see an estimate. Then he tried to extort me for additional charges that he demanded cash for but could provide no bill for. If he is not yet in jail dont work with him.

Unfortunately my 2018 KIA Stinger had to be re-painted due faulty factory paint. Due to KMAs process, I was not able to select the paint shop that would do the work, only the dealership was allowed to choose the shop. They chose Platinum Paint & Body to do the work. Sub-par work was done on the plastic portion of the repaint (front bumper) and I now have clear coat literally peeling off less than 1.5 months after. The shop will not warranty the work as they are claiming its rock chips and can do nothing about it. Blaming it on me that I refused their Clear-bra option ($300+ more than other shops), which they would have done right after clear coating the car. (If you do not bake on the clear coat (ie this shop), you need to wait at least 2 months to place a clear-bra on. If you dont, the clear coat will come off with the clear-bra, if it ever had to be replaced. (I understand other chips in the front bumper are from debris, but if a clear coat is this bad, anything that touches the car, is going to leave a mark.)
I tried to get some minor body work done on my car I had to ask for a estimate twice... And both times they never got back to me. Very disappointed. I do NOT recommend this place!
I went to get an estimate because I was rear ended waited a week for an email and I didnt have a response. I called them twice and they told me they hadnt gotten around to it yet. So I called them a few days after and they told me that they didnt want to waste their time giving me an estimate if I wasnt going to get it down there!!! Ridiculously poor service! If I can give it negative stars I would.

Progressive Ins. had Platinum repair rear bumper on my 2012 camaro.I can slide a quarter between the seams where rear bumper meets the side car panels - should be flush.Small dents left on side bumper panels where side panels attach to body clips. Wont be dealing with Platinumor Progressive in the future. Very poor workmanship by Platinum extremely poor customer service/response/attitude by Progressive.

Our vehicle has been in their shop for over three weeks. There has been virtually no communication unless we initiate it. Every time we do call there is a new excuse about why it is taking so long. Extremely unimpressed and ticked off right now!
