I drive from East Mesa because I trust these guys to take care of my Smart Car. They are cheerful professional and reasonable.

I took my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Sun Valley and now my 2016. I recently called because I saw coolant on the undercarriage. They got me in the next day. Im not exactly sure how they source parts, but I was impressed with the speed. Mike called at 9 to tell me what they found, that he could get the parts by 10:30 if I approved, and Id be all set by early afternoon. I havent shopped prices but they seem very reasonable. My grandma referred me to them which says something :) Im always willing to pay more for honesty, integrity and good customer service.

Great shop, great team of people. They have saved me thousands over the years between two cars. Service is top notch and the prices are always fair and competitive. I used to shop their quotes around, no need to anymore since they would always come in lower than the competition, especially the “stealership.”

Ive been goin to SVI since it opened more than 20 years ago with all of my repairs and maintenance on everything from a Hyundai & BMW to Mercedes and, yes, Chevys. They are expert diagnosticians and very fair with their estimates. On a side note, it is fun to visit their facility to examine some of the exotics cars they repair and maintain.

From our very first interaction and throughout the process Mike kept in touch via email, text and/or phone calls. I knew when my vehicle service started and when they were completed. Mike clearly discussed any issues and follow up actions. I was told during my last visit that there was nothing to fix with my AC, I was told it is in a good working condition, and the effectiveness of the AC was demonstrated to me. I was frustrated because Sun Valley Imports was the 3rd repair shop I had my car towed to. I was extremely satisfied with the speed of the repairs, cost, and customer service I received from Mike. The first shop (Mercedes of Scottsdale) told me I had to replace something that may or may not be causing the issue with my car. I didnt like that response to found someone who would diagnosis the issue which was the 2nd shop (German Auto Service and Sales). They were overcharging for labor so I called around for quotes and I found Mike at Sun Valley Imports. I literally saved nearly $1,000 by choosing Sun Valley Imports.

I brought my 2006 Boxster down from Flagstaff since i knew I could trust Steve and Jürgen with my car. The engine was making a soft scratchy sound that didnt seem quite right to me, and they were able to quickly diagnose it as a failing water pump. They got it fixed quickly exactly as promised. The guys down at Sun Valley Imports are first rate. The diagnos the problem very quickly and are prompt with you on the recommendations for getting your vehicle back out in optimal condition. I have been going to Sun Valley Imports for almost 20 years now. They have done an excellent job in keeping all my VWs running great. They are fair and honest, which is exactly what you want from your repair shop! Add in the fact that they have great customer service and are the friendliest guys you will work with and I wouldnt take my German autos anywhere else!

** As a disclaimer, I did not have work done here **However. BMW stuff is sometimes a pain to get. I called them up and asked if I could pickup some coolant and an oil filter. It will be there in two hours.I was at work and couldn’t get it, so a friend went. They ended up selling her a thing of coolant that was a third of the size but 90% of the price. No oil filter.But whatever. They saved me a trip to the dealership, and I know they don’t make hardly anything off of something like that.So months later I call for the same thing again. They take my name, say they’ll put it aside for me. I show up personally to pick it up a few hours later. The guy I talked to isn’t there, no one has any clue how to get me what I asked for. I go home, they tell me I can come back the next day.So I come back. This time, they have a different, slightly more expensive coolant, and no oil filter.I feel bad leaving a review like this when they were trying to help, but at the same time, value my time a little!! If you can’t help, just let me know!!

Found them through a friend. I had a leaking brake line in the ABS of my BMW 540i. Took my car there yesterday. They did a great job in fixing that in an absolutely amazing price. And they also did a free inspection of my car and told me about the probs that I might face in future. They are not at all pushy about selling their services. I am really impressed with their service. Now I know this is the place to take my car for any service that it needs!!!!

I called Sun Valley based purely on their YELP and GOOGLE ratings and found a clean, organized, knowledgeable shop full of expensive cars. Seems these guys already have a great reputation. BEST PART? Although the place was full of high dollar cars, Sun Valleys prices and mechanic RATES were incredibly reasonable. To be sure I was a little nervous about that at first. I am proud to say that I have been a customer at Sun Valley since I was 18 in 1993. Steve and Jüergen have taken care of my special cars with stellar care and prestige. I recently bought my e39 and knew that the cooling system was junk. So in a days time, I have a new O.E.M. cooling system, with a 2 YEAR WARRANTY! The facility is fantastic, you see some very unique cars there, and you see twenty year old cars like my BMW. I cannot tell you how many times SVI has put my cars back together after serious suspension damage. Truly great service. 100% confident that I am getting the BEST service and value. I was honestly extremely disappointed with this place, I brought my car in for three things, then without contacting me at all, they added tons of other work, more than QUADRUPLED the estimate I originally got, and it was things as ridiculous as my windshield wiper blades. after arguing that I could in no afford all the extra work, finally got the price down to just triple the original estimate. however when I went to pick up my car, the price was once again up to the amount I had told them I could not afford. the gentleman who was taking care of our payment was really good, and took the price back down for me, but I will NEVER use them again, I felt deeply insulted, and couldnt help feeling as though they were attempting to take advantage of me because I was a young woman who came in alone. avoid avoid avoid folks!

A year ago I was looking for a mechanic to do an inspection for an electric Smart car of interest to me that was out of town… Juergen did a great job and provided and accurate report on the status of the vehicle. He did miss one small little thing on the electronics that was pretty subtle, but I could forgive him for that.
