1st time customer about 6 weeks ago. I needed a shop that understood hybrid AC systems. Their website was thorough in details re: their expertise and specific machines used ONLY for hybrid systems. I used the night drop-off option, easy. I already knew my compressor was $$$$, so the when the service manager called me the next day to review my cars issues and work needed, I was not surprised by the Total being quoted (a lot!). They promised to complete the work the following morning. The next day, as promised, my car was ready to be picked up before noon. Upon arrival to pickup my car, the 3 service managers were friendly, courteous and funny. Alan was the manager helping me through my service and I felt valued and respected, as a female, I was not talked down to nor did he try to sell me on any extra services. The service completed was explained in detail and was given a 5-year Warranty on parts & labor for the new AC Compressor. Also, theyre great about sending via email and text, all pertinent documents/updates for your records. I left a very happy customer and will be bringing my car to this shop if needed for any future repairs.
Absolutely wonderful! Had my Rav4 towed in from a simple Google search. Im so grateful my vehicle landed in the skilled and capable hands of this team! Vehicle fixed, great communication, straight forward, fair pricing, no upsales, no worries. As a female and a travel RN car troubles can be intimidating and scary. This business had my families and my safety as their top priority. Got us back on the road in no time! Loved the communication! Will be back before we head back home for a few electives! Thank you!
Our recent experience with Good Works Auto Repair was outstanding! Everyone we dealt with, whether on the phone or in person, was extremely helpful and professional. Beyond that, I felt like I was dealing with friends. I was especially impressed with the detailed assessment of the mechanical condition of our 2008 Prius. This enabled me to prioritize the work to be done without any sales pressure from the shop. Maintaining an older car can be expensive at times and it is much easier to part with the money when I feel I can trust the people helping me. I will certainly be back for future service/repair needs. My thanks to Allen, Jay, and Dominic.Dennis Miner
Replaced the shocks ok my Ford Escape. The low pressure light and brake light still turns on on the dashboard. May have to fix that too. Matt and the others are extremely helpful. Thank you for everything.
My vehicle is 12 years old and needed a general evaluation as well as air conditioning recharge and an oil change. My car was dropped off by my grandson so personal communication was very important to me.As my service was proceeding I received regular communication by text and photos. I really appreciated the organization. All suggested repairs were presented as good, needs attention or needs immediate attention. There was no pressure to initiate service but simply a truthful presentation of the condition of my vehicle. I use a walker and this was a great way to know what was going on from home.My requested service was completed in a timely fashion and a fair price.I highly recommend this business and I intend to use their services again.
Had two excellent experiences with Good Works on Broadway & the 101. They are a local, family-owned company. All of their employees are professional and kind; they were happy to explain what repairs were needed in terms I could understand. They completed the work ahead of schedule and provided me a ride home when needed. They have an amazing system where they provide a full inspection report of your vehicle that includes pictures and explanations on what parts / services are in good condition, will need attention in the near future, and what should be done asap. They keep you updated with texts and emails. Highly recommend them.
Ive taken 2 vehicles there they were very polite and helpful at first but I only wish I was smarter about my repairs because I spent over 2000.00 on getting my ac redone and whatever other recommendations they gave me and couple months later my car started to heat up I go in and they say I need head gaskets to repair my vehicle which I dont have the money for still paying off the 2000.00 loan I took out so if you have the money I would recommend going there but be very thorough about making sure the part or things your fixing are worth it cause now Im out money and a car if I would of only known that its not worth fixing ac I would of loved to known that but other than that they are great I would recommend them I only rated low because of my situation in particular left me with out my car which when I asked the shop what I should do they said simply donate it which I cant do I got too much money put into the vehicle
Absolutely fantastic service and people working there! Ive been there a couple times for lots of different issues with my car and they fix it for a fair price and try to accommodate my schedule. They are beyond professional and kind! I just moved cross country so Im beyond sad I dont have my favorite auto shop to go to! I cant recommend them enough!
So,I was here just to get my headlights replaced. Easy right? We’ll it would help if I had my wallet, no problem I have Apple Pay. We’ll I never set that up… what the Hell? So Mathew here at Good Works helped me out. He got my headlights done with in an hour and willing trusting me to pay over the phone when I get my card. These guys are so great!! I also got my oil changed here and feel so safe and comfortable know they worked on it.Thank you so much guys!!!!
They have super friendly staff and do good work. They are quick and affordable. They provide a detailed list of everything wrong with your vehicle and the cost to fix it but dont pressure you at all.
Glen, Alan and Matthew are the best! They have worked on our fleet vehicles as well as my personal vehicle and I couldnt be happier! They are thorough and professional. I totally recommend you take your vehicles to them!!
Very friendly crew with a clean office/waiting area. They have a text message service that notifies you when your car is being looked at and when its finished. It comes with a hyperlink to the website where it shows everything on your car that they recommend getting fixed along with photographic proof. Car repairs are usually expensive but they do have a great warranty on parts/labor that help bring peace of mind. Check their website for deals and coupons as well as to schedule appointments.
I’ve been to Good Works Auto twice for some much needed repairs on my old pickup. They have been extremely friendly, professional and competent and their prices are competitive as well. Highly recommend them for your next auto repair.
I have been taking my car to Good Works for a few years and am pleased with the service I receive every time. I have had routine oil changes, and much more complex work, always completed to my satisfaction. Not to mention the little things they do for me on the spot when I stop in to make an appointment or ask questions.Dominic and Matthew are the two service advisors I usually work with and I appreciate their professionalism, kindness, and respect. They are always willing to take the time to answer questions when I have them.I drive a long way to have my car serviced at Good Works, because I believe it is worth it!I trust them.
Call for a quick help reading a code last Saturday. Got in small accident and engine light came on. Allen help us out spur of the moment. Great customer service! Thank You, we will not forget next time we need something.
I have used Good Works Auto Repair exclusively for the last 2 years and will never go to anyone else! Recently I had to take my car in to replace the coils in my engine and they had my car in and out the same day, good as new (in addition to a few other complimentary services they provided because they’re just super nice people).I’ve always loved how they give you a detailed inspection and digital report (with pictures) and their service is top notch. Grateful to have a repair shop I can trust!
Got their promotional mailer and decided to give them a try. Able to get me in far quicker than expected and very early in the morning. They conducted a very thorough inspection of the vehicle and quickly diagnosed my issue and also identified other areas of concern. Dom was very friendly and explained everything clearly, and left me with a pamphlet detailing those concerning areas and the approximate cost to fix them at Good Works. Certainly reasonably priced and will continue to take my vehicles here for future repairs.
Had been here to mainly get my brakes changed. Giving credit where its due, they did a wonderful job in Diagnosing, compiling and explaining various issues which required attention. They gave individual quotes and let me decide what needed to be worked on. Brakes have been great! Now the reason for the 3 star: One issue was about replacing the Cabin air filter for which the quote was $76, and the reason for the markup was, I quote, Need to Remove Excessive Components to Access. In reality, its just pulling a tab in the glove box to access this filter.I know this isnt much to fret about, but it just reduces my confidence in trusting other diagnosis and quotes.
These folks are very customer friendly and honest 🙂 Good works Auto was the best auto repair I have ever taken my vehicle to!
Great place! Friendly service! Fast repairs! Also their vehicle inspection report is amazing for getting to know your vehicle and knowing what needs to be repaired next! Love these guys, been going for years now and I will never go to anyone else.
Matt and the staff were awesome in facilitating a replacement on my starter. I also needed a brake fluid flush which fell under their five year warranty, and I received that at no extra charge. I even was treated to some Girl Scout cookies! Thank you!
Im pretty cautious when it comes to auto repair, but Good Works is excellent. I originally came to them for a second opinion, when another shop was recommending a laundry list of repairs. Ive got an older Prius, and have been coming to them for all my repair and maintenance needs four a few years now. Things I like: 1) transparency. They take and email you pictures of everything, so you can see problems yourself. 2) No pressure (really). They tell you the problems, prioritize them. I dont always have the money for the full repairs for a car with nearly 200k miles. 3) price. Originally, I had quotes from the another shop, they came in under 4) reliability. When they give me a time it will be ready, it will be. 5) communication. They keep in contact to let me know whats going on. 6) professionalism. Always polite and courteous, even though my car looks like a pos.
I had my car worked on about a month ago by good works and was helped by Dominic at the time I had a check engine light come on that I just noticed today in my car so I brought it in and Matthew who was very polite very courteous and very helpful help me work through the problem to the solution I was blown away by the level of professionalism and the respect I was given, I felt welcome and left feeling reassured I will be a good works customer for the rest of my life I will never bring my vehicle anywhere else every time I have came here 5 times I have had the best experience I will never go anywhere else for an oil change or whatever i need done, every person who has ever helped me has been amazing I definitely give kudos to Matthew to day I was scared I had another problem with this lemon of a car I bought, the Chevy Malibu but Matthew was able to solve my problem in 5 minutes. 5 minutes and a handshake later I was on the road with a problem solved. Definite lifelong customer here. Thank you good works dont ever change! If youre thinking if you should come here or not, COME, dont go anywhere else theyll steal your money charge you too much you probably wont even get your problem fixed good works as an honest shop I highly recommend it
Excellent service, very clean office, efficient, they take care to explain all details of work provided and work that they recommend to keep your car in top condition.I am 70yrs old, and it is by far THE best auto repair business I have ever been to.For trust alone I give them 5stars! their excellent repair service another 5stars!
They went above and beyond replaced my water pump on my 1986 Southwind RV Dominic and Raul were amazing. I highly recommend! Best mechanic shop ever.
I went in to see about getting my truck repaired and was towed that most people come in with an idea of whats wrong and end up spending a whole lot of money other places. These guys said they do evaluations first. Want to see the evaluation they tell you whats wrong and tell you what it takes to fix it and then they do it. So well see this week with the evaluation says but I like the fact that they just didnt set me up to try to believe me for money like most mechanics do. Good works its more like Good deeds3/3/21I made it in to do the evaluation. These guys are so cool. Alan told me that it would probably be very expensive to get this truck road Worthy. You told me the cost said if Im interested they can do the work but its probably going to cost a lot. The thing is I trust them. Cuz they could have milked me slowly. And they chose to do the evaluation give me the truth of the matter and let me know that Im there if they need me in the future. This is rare for an auto shop. If you need Services definitely check these guys out theyre the best!
Should be called Great Works, honestly. The customer service here is amazing. I came in for a freon recharge and it was done in a timely manner (was there from 10:30-2). Alan went over the inspection report with me without trying to sell me any services - it was just for the sole purpose of helping me understand what was up with my car, and I appreciate that. The owner is also a nice guy. I’ll definitely be coming back here the next time my car has a problem. Thank you!
I came here after an 07 Prius died from what turned out to be a dead hybrid battery. An auto parts store’s OBDII reader couldn’t pull the code, and incorrectly said it wasn’t the hybrid battery. I had to pay for the diagnosis, but I got a comprehensive list of things that needed replacing on the car with pictures included and some explanations of the non-obvious stuff. It was marked out in a list ranging from things that were good, things to monitor from here out (based on condition or the Prius service manual), and things that need fixing now/soon. Definitely a nice feature I’ve only gotten at one other shop before. They were a tad more expensive than my usual shop (too far to tow to at the time), but clearly they were thorough beyond what I’ve seen at other shops I’ve been to in the area. Overall, it was worth the cost to get some more professional eyes on the hybrid system in general.
I have been using Good Works for about 15 years for a wide variety of services, through my ownership of three vehicles and have also sent friends there. You can count on Good Works to be HONEST, which, sadly, is rare for auto repair businesses these days. Fair and competitive pricing, good communication, friendly folks and reliable service is something you can count on at Good Works! Highly recommended!
I love this shop!! They have exceptional customer service and are very up front with you.. I had a full synthetic oil change and also did the radiator coolant flush today and it didnt take a whole lot of time, right around 2 hours.. Ive been to this shop twice and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else after coming here!! Seriously Thank you all!!
They’ve always been super helpful and patient with any questions I have and are honest people. They once stopped me after I left to let me know they over charged me and that I would be getting some money back. They also send gift cards to you for being a customer. I feel I can trust them with my vehicles.
Im delayed in submitting my review, life is just busy sometimes. But I have to say publicly Thank You Good Works! After towing my suv to the shop very late in the evening, I received contact early the next morning that my suv was being looked at. That really impressed me. I didnt have to do the runaround to contact them.I ended up having to get the alternator and battery replaced. I picked up my suv after work and was happy to be running again. And then-- every light on the dash visited me, I thought my suv was possessed! the a/c came on high, and wouldnt shut off! Really scary.I emailed the shop, as it was after hours when this happened. They made it right. Got it in July 4th weekend. They put in a better alternator. they let me know what was going on. They were kind. My trucked was cleaned, and they just made sure I was happy with the service. I have been there before. My son has also. And we will keep going back.
Everyone is very friendly here! I came here because I found a great Groupon deal and ended up really liking it.
Communication was excellent!! LOVED the vehicle report, was beyond thorough and really helped me place a course of action for future repairs. Price was what I anticipated. Grateful for me new Car BFF, Alan .. he was wonderful and took the time to really explain EVERYTHING. Thank YOU!!
Alan was excellent, Alan C. Did great work on my car and the organization skills of this location is next level! They did a great job on my 79 Corvette, if youre nervous about service on a classic, this is the location to use for maintenance, prices are exactly what Id expect and the employees know what theyre doing!
I brought my 2013 Toyota Tundra to Good Works when my battery connectors were completely corroded along with a bad alternator. Dominick and the mechanic were fantastic in walking me through the problem and the solution to get it fixed. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs reliable and honest people. Thanks again for the help!
I came here for an oil change and appreciated the inspection that included pictures and ratings of what looked good or not so good in my car, and all my questions were answered in a way that was easy to understand. He let me know which things to look out for that didnt necessarily need to be replaced immediately. However when I got my car back, I found that I ended up having to put things back together, namely my glove box was falling out and the damper piece was on the floor. I had my cabin air vent vacuumed out and the air filter replaced, and there was debris all over the floor that I had to clean up. I think a window clean is part of the deal which is a great touch, but my windows looked so smeary that I ended up cleaning them later myself. I also was told that my blower motor was broken and it would cost over $300. Upon inspecting the piece at home, I found that it worked completely fine and there was just something stuck in it. Really glad I dodged that bullet and didnt decide to have the piece replaced. While I had a good experience with the front end of this business, I feel like whoever worked on my car didnt have good attention to detail and created more work for me to fix in the end, and almost ended up costing me hundreds of dollars when I didnt have to.
I was helped by Dominic. they were able to fix what the first two mechanics and two locksmiths couldnt fix it was expensive but at least they fixed what the other mechanics charged. me for and did nothing also they let me keep my car there for a week while I got the rest of the money together they were very courteous and professional. they called me daily with updates. they even got my car washed prior to returning it to me. I would gladly pay a little more for the type of service I received. so everybody knows Im no expert in costs of fixing cars so I may be mistaken and they could be cheap. I had a electrical problem no one could figure out but they did in 2 days you rock good works glad to have my malibu back!
My check engine light stayed on and I decided to have it fixed. Good works fixed the problem. Many thanks to Dominic and everyone else at Good Works. The service was excellent.
I took my 4runner in for squeaky brakes. I was surprised by how thorough their inspection of the overall car was. The pictures and the break down of the car made me feel surprised and happy at the condition of the vehicle I recently purchased. Although everything checked out, it was nice to walk away with a piece of mind. Sometimes mechanics can make up fake things to fix just to make a little money. But this experience was very professional and their inspection price was extremely reasonable.
Dominic and his technicians were wonderful for the pre-purchase inspection for a car I was interested in. They were very thorough and took pictures of everything and their condition. They break it down very easily and will be straight with you on if you should get the car and if it is worth the selling price. I ended up not getting the car due to their thorough and honest review of its condition. Which I am super bummed because it was a unicorn car. Off to continue my search for my unicorn car, and I will go back to Good Works for future pre-purchase inspections.
I love Good Works, they are honest, not pushy and concerned for their clients not the bottom line, BTW they do a great job, I wont take my Toyota FJ any where else!
They took very good care of my car while they repaired it. No hastle, no problems. They even washed the car!
I love the team and the management. They always treat me honestly. I will always pick this garage with a heart beat.
Stay away!! The way I was treated here and how much I was overcharged was absolutely disgusting. I went in to get a starter replaced when my cat broke down and was at the mercy of not being able to tow the car somewhere sense. Not only did they charge $200 more than the dealership would have, but they added an extra $60 in job supplies which they did not tell me about until I went to pay and other shops in the area only charge about $10. When I asked what the charge was for no one could explain, but I found out they charge an extra 10% just because they can and they get away with it. To make matters worse, my car had idling issues when I picked it up and the car stalled in the middle of the intersection as I was leaving the parking lot. The service advisor claims there was no issue, so now I have to take it to another shop to fix their screw up. They make act friendly to your face, but they are deceitful and some of the most dishonest people I have met.
Excekkent and thorough service. Friendly and reasonabl priced.
Had a window meter replaced. TheyAll were very helpful and friendly.
Found this company on Groupon for a discounted oil change for synthetic, once I dropped my car off I received a text that was a link to an in depth review of my car. My favorite thing about the entire interaction was they let me know what problems they saw without trying to sell me on fixing them. I came in for an oil change and got a 100 point inspection. I would highly recommend this company to anyone! I will be back!
This is the kind of shop you tell your friends about.. the professionalism is impeccable and thats hard to find these days I will continue to keep bringing my car here for my service needs and .. giving this place of five star when I believe that they deserve more than that thank you guys for everything that youve done for me taking care of my car and I will come back thank you so much
After getting over the shock from the dealers quote for a starter on our 07 Accord we decided to call Goodworks tt Matthew and asked for worst case scenario for a starter it was $200 less and based on other recommendations we added the break flush which was when combined was still less than the Dealer, so we added the Transmission fluid service as well. They completed the requested work earlier than expected, and included a car wash at no charge and had done thorough inspection with suggested work.I would definitely recommend Good Works for anyone with a vehicle in need of service.
I needed an honest and fair repair shop for my daughters car. Good Works Auto Repair took awesome care of my daughter and her car. Great trustworthy service at a fair price!
Theyre very good, I like using them.
Good Works has been servicing my familys cars for 20 years, and weve never been sorry! As always, both car service and customer service were excellent.
They did a prepurchase inspection for me, very thorough, professional and affordable. They got me in quickly and did a great job in a timely manner. I will be back for future service .
Really good service here. While in the waiting room I saw them deal with some really problematic customers and they called them and made sure to take care of their issues. They help me well and give a good track record of what has been done on my car. I enjoy their user friendly system that lets users know how soon they need to have something replaces (green=good, yellow=needs to be done soon, red=get it done now). They work well with their customers and I look forward to coming here more often (not too often!!!)
Very friendly and professional staff. Thorough inspection if the vehicle was done. Great service overall.
After 30 years of getting vehicles serviced I had become jaded and thought all shops were customer service disasters. At Good Works I had an all around A+ great experience. Outstanding service from start to finish: friendly, informative, free detailed vehicle assessment to start, work well by phone and email, fair estimates lower than dealer and other local shops, came in under their estimate, all services performed very professionally. Honest to boot: I authorized them to do another $2000 in repairs and they checked out the work and convinced me I did not need to do it. I was floored. Best shop in town.
So before I go into my complaint, Im going to give a little context. I bought a 2011 Chevy Silverado about a month ago. Has about 143,000 miles on it. The cosmetics on it are rare. It has been taken care of. The engine is still decent-looking. Transmission is still optimal. Essentially it is a good working truck.I bought this truck for a company I have started off to the side of my regular week job. So essentially, it is my work truck/company truck. So when buying this truck it I knew I had a lot riding on it. So I had a job come up where I would be towing a decent amount of weight and wanted to get a 150,000-mile work done on it. So this is context for the complainant. Now for the complainant.. so I took it to this place and told them everything I wanted. They got it in and had fantastic feedback on what needed to be done. They had pictures and all. And so I agreed to about $4000 worth of work done, which was done to the front 2 A-arms, back struts, oil change, brake job, leak identification, and tire rotation. So definitely a lot of work to entrust an auto mechanic to do. When all was said and done, I was satisfied until I got home. I noticed that my tires werent rotated. I looked on the bill, and it said it was included, and then on the back of the bill, it said I declined the rotation, which I never did. So I was like, ok, this fine, I guess. The towing job comes and passes (note: the job was the day after getting this all done). The truck does excellent. 4 days pass, and I start hearing this weird vibration in my left wheel well as I drive, and all of a sudden, my traction control malfunctions. So I pull over and look in the wheel well to see what was going on and noticed a wire with a sensor on it going to the brake is just dangling there. I go and check the other side to see if its the same. It is.. so I call good works auto to explain everything that is going on and that I was a little upset because I just dropped $4000 on the truck to get preventative maintenance done on it to ensure success, and now major stuff is popping up. Alan, the salesman who has helped me since the beginning, tells me that I wont be able to get to it today, but I could drop it off for them to look at it tomorrow possibly.. I work two jobs essentially. I am a full-time single parent.. I cant just drop my truck off and leave it, I explain. He says, brings it in, and well have our guy pull the code. So I get there, and their mechanic pulls the code and says its my brake switch and something with the steering wheel. I then tell him about the two wires that were dangling near the brake. The mechanic further says thats probably whats going on then. He said that they needed to be secured and never were. So he pops them back in and rests the code. He says to bring it back in Thursday or Friday around 2 or 3, and Ill be able to look into it further. He said, plus it gives it time to see if itll go off again. So again, I walked away saying in my head... okaaay. So Thursday comes, and I cant get the truck in because I worked until about 11 pm last night. No code pops up. Friday is here, and I can get the car in.. the code pops up again on the truck. I call and talk to Alan.. he says again, we cant get to your vehicle, but you can leave it overnight, and we possibly may get to it tomorrow. Again I explain to him my situation on how I work two jobs and take Care of a two-year-old, and also further explain how his mechanic and fellow associate in the office both told me to bring it in Thursday or Friday. He says Theres nothing I can do for you even though my mechanic and office assistant said it was ok. He had no problem getting rid of me off the phone. Alan has no customer service. This place is unprofessional because A) they never gave me the tire rotation that I wanted, and B)allowed me to drive off the lot with unsafe brakes.I hope this helps you make your decision to go somewhere else.
I brought my truck in on a Friday and they said they wouldn’t have time to get it done till Monday. They then called later that day to tell me they finished it. While driving away, it broke down because of another problem that wasn’t obvious at first. Good Works Auto Repair payed for my truck to be towed back to the shop, then worked on it for six hours and only charged me for two hours.
I was looking for a good auto repair company and was talking to a co worker at work Shea and she told me about Good Works Auto Repair. Went home that day set up appointment and I could not be happier with the results with this company hands down the best sent me pictures of my car and want they found and the nicest people you want to meet all the staff in the office and the shop are a 5 star in my book. When I get ask about a good auto shop Good Works will be the one Thank you Alan Sandoval and Technician Nick. Awesome job. Good works is my place for car needs 5 star.Took my car to Good works on 12/11 /2020 to get a part fix on transmission. I got a ride home while my car was being worked on from a super nice guy Glen and when my car was done Amy picked me super sweet girl. Thank you Eric and Alan these guys did amazing job .All the staff at Good works are wonderful and nice people. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all at Good works auto repair see you next year your loyal customer Dee
I got a oil change coupon from groupon and they didnt upsell any additional services when I was using it. I got a detailed inspection report for my car and they texted a web link to the report, so I can keep it as a long-term record. With the report, they helped me to understand which part of my car needs to pay attention for and what other things can be optimize its efficiency. That helps a lot for me! I highly recommend the Good Works for every one who can see the post!
It was very clean and everyone was very professional and very friendly. I got right in and right out. They took the time to go over what other services I could need and even explained why. As a woman using this service it is nice that they took the extra time. It is also right down the street from my house. Thank you for the great service!
The service was detailed organized and professional. Will definitely go back again they are now the only one I will trust to service my vehicle
As a woman, we seek to find someone honest, someone to take care of our precious car that gets us to all the places we need to be, and it is hard to trust mechanics for us. I have found my trusted mechanic here. Glenn was here for me and went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy customer. I will be bringing my car back to them and referring them to my friends, because I know they can be trusted. Its hard to put out a lot of money (mine was over $4000), but when you need it done right, when you need a mechanic shop that cares about the service they provide to their customers......you can trust Glenn and Good Works Auto.
The Good Works Auto Repair team came to our familys rescue when we needed them the most. We were stuck with a broken ignition and one call turned a disaster into a miracle. We are blessed we came across such generous souls. A big thank you to the Good Works Repair team and we wish everyone and their families a blessed holiday season.
Your service advisor can explain my disappointment.
Amazing staff! I particularly loved the fact that they weren’t pushy or try to upsell me updates on my car. They only professionally shared what my car needed with no pressure at all! Leslie took great care of me and I definitely recommend anyone to check out this spot!
Fair honest friendly best place to take your vehicle
Been a customer for a few years now and am so happy to have found them. It is hard to find a reliable mechanic let alone the entire crew. They are dependable and they give a fair price. Their place of business is clean including their restroom! Highly recommend this business.
Very helpful and cheerful staff. Fast and effective service. Will definitely use again for my vehicular needs!
They are very professional and well organized. Their communication is outstanding, and they took care of my truck on time.
Fantastic service. Theyre honest, thoroughly check your vehicle, and even send you a nice breakdown with pictures of anything they find including how urgent it is to fix.
Very professional and communicated what needed to be done in a timely manner
I’ve been with Good Works Auto Repair for sometime, over five years I believe. I’ve brought a number of vehicles for service work. And I have found satisfaction as a paying customer. Thank you for this opportunity to vouch for a business that I can rely on and be happy with.
After my previous mechanic retired, I decided to try Good Works Auto Repair. What a great experience! I knew my wifes van needed a brake system flush and I also wanted a complete vehicle check since we are taking a road trip soon. The shop emailed me a very detailed report of the inspection along with service recommendations.Along with the brake system service, I also had the alignment done. The service was very quick and the total cost was only about $250.
Super friendly staff, great customer service, I also love the checks they do on your vehicle when you get an oil change. I will not go any were els for an oil change after visiting this shop.
My Tahoe needed extensive work in order to get another 100K miles of use out of it. Good Works did a fantastic job with the work. More importantly their communication as the repair was progressing was impressive. The never hesitated in helping me to understand what needed attention and why it needed to be repaired. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else!
This is my third oil change. The service is always above excellent and beyond what I expect. Great promotion and they truly care about your vehicle and services. They answer all your questions, and staff are like familiar friends. Looking forward to my next visit. Oh, did I mention computer report emailed to you and they are the best!
Very friendly staff, I really like the thorough inspection of my car including pictures of every step of the process.
This whole shop is awesome, but DOMINIC especially went above and beyond to help as much as possible. I was in the process of swapping work trucks and was in and out of their shop all week. He was very patient and kind throughout the whole process. BONUS: They have extremely fair prices and never try to slip one past you. Five Stars indefinitely.
We have taken our vehicles to Good Works and have recommended to several others. We are extremely happy with the care and quality of work that this business does. The people we have recommended were also happy as they return over and over, many of which were young women who often get taken advantage of. However, Good Works is always protective of everyone who needs someone to watch over them as single women, older customers etc. It is difficult to find a reliable, honest good auto repair here in the Phoenix area. We have gone to several when we first arrived here 13 years ago and were ripped off over and over. Good Works has always taken very good care of us and we have had quality work completed. The owners Glen and Raeann are the real deal. They are honest, caring people with a tremendous amount of professionalism and integrity. Recently, Glen was asked to do an ad for a candidate and the response is so surprising. I thought we lived in a democratic country where people were encouraged to have their own opinions and beliefs. The hate that is aimed at Good Works due to this ad is just so disappointing as human beings that people would stoop so low to attack an amazing business of integrity in this way. Its cowardly to name call and belittle. Who we vote for or support no way takes away from the quality of care a certain business gives. There isnt a candidate out there that is honest any more. All we can do is pick the best one out of the bunch & at times is the lesser of the two evils. I know Glen and Raeann would never judge anyone or treat anyone in any way but with kindness, respect and integrity no matter what their beliefs are. I would highly recommend Good Works Auto Repair and always will! Keep up the great work!
I was very pleased with my service! I went in for an oil changed and also ended up getting my air filter changed. I was impressed with the very thorough inspection they did and was also very pleased that they emailed me the report so I could have it on hand. Matthew helped me and was very nice and informative. Great service. After my visit I was also sent a discount card! Something nice is that they also have snacks and drinks while you wait. Highly recommend.
Matthew Glenn and the crew are very helpful. We have been going to them for awhile and will continue to do so.Thank you for all the help you share
Great professionals that arent there to sell you repairs. As a female, I greatly appreciate that quality in a shop. I have an old car with SUPER high miles and they just review possible issues that need addressing. That is helpful when I take it to my backyard mechanic buddy!
They are honest,on time appt, informative, and have good coffee. Clean and safe during pandemic.
My experience with Good Works is that they went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was taken care of, and have earned my trust and business. I highly recommend them.
I was greatly impressed with Good Works Auto. They took good care of my daughters auto needs (Im out of state). They were professional, friendly, accommodating and finished ahead of schedule at a fair competitive price. Thanks, guys.
Alan helped me with my LR situation. Was informative through each step of the repair and always checked with me before moving forward. If I have any more car troubles I’ll be coming back to this shop.
Great trustworthy shop!
Quality work. Honest service.
Good works is a great group of people in a place that is clean, well run and efficient. They kept me posted by text throughout my oil change and inspection, gave me a thorough report afterward, and even sent me a report by email so I could send it to a friend for his opinion. The people at Good Works were up front about what needed to be done and the estimated cost.. I would definitely go back there again!
Above and beyond! I came in off a Groupon for a simple oil change and they gave me the works! Detailed pictures, descriptions and suggestions for my car. Everything was explained to me but they were not pushy for a sale. In fact, they suggested most of my repair wait until later. I have so much peace of mind now. Thank you!!
I really liked my experience here. Went in for an oil change and they gave me a full inspection with a detailed printout of anything else that needed attention to take with me. I appreciated the through printout and personal one on one explanation of everything without any pressure at all. Just FYI and left it totally up to me about what I wanted to do. Thank you and I will return.
This places is AMAZING! Highly recommend!! The staff is extremely friendly, almost feels like youre with family! The prices are great and Im glad I came across this place. One of the things I hate about going to a mechanic shop is how pushy they can be, but let me tell you they are not like that at all. They educate you on what needs to be done, then lets you decide and respects your decision. They work with you if you cant afford to pay upfront, offer shuttle service, and they call with updates on your car. They go above and beyond to help!! I definitely will be back!
It is so nice to finally find a auto mechanic that is trustworthy and honest! They did great work on my car and completed the job on time and with a great price. Highly recommend!
I had my oil changed at a national chain. They pointed out several problems I needed to fix. Motor mounts, front struts, alignment. I took my car to Good Works, based on family recommendations. They do quality work and I expected to pay more for that. The cost was actually less than at the chain. They got me in the next day and had it finished in a few hours. Plus they have a shuttle service. Great place!
I would give this business a better star review because the work itself is good, but the price gouging is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! They quoted me over $2000 for an A/C problem that I was able to fix myself (beginner car knowledge). Also, I purchased the lifetime battery warranty for an additional $20- so I wouldnt have to pay for a new battery every year- but charged $70 for installation! Why charge $70 for installation when OReillys does it for free. Absolute joke! Its auto businesses like this that push customers to go to the big chain auto repair shops. What also doesnt help is hearing the owner bad-mouth another custom in the middle of the lobby.
Best place to take your car for an oil change or any repair. I love the detailed report (with pictures) that they give me after they thoroughly check over your car.
I found Good Works on Groupon and started with an oil change for my car. Matthew was friendly, easy to work with and gave me an incredibly detailed inspection report paired with actual photos of my vehicle parts in each category. This made it easy to understand, and made me feel more confident about making informed choices. They gave me a $20 off coupon for my next visit and took in my husband’s car the next day. I’ll be going to Good Works from now on!
