I have two storages here and had problems with both showing up on my online account so I can pay online.Went to the office and spoke with Matt. He was incredibly helpful and was able to make sure I didnt get a late fee for my rental.Steve, the site manager and Matt are both really helpful and I appreciate their friendliness.The place is super clean and easy to access. The security at this site is really good and the place is lit up nicely at night.I will happily continue to use this location as long as I need the storage.

Steve was extremely professional. He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Well-maintained facility, only downside is that the sheds arent air conditioned. A bit more expensive than other places, but worth it for the convenience and customer service. Overall experience was great. Thanks, Steve!

The is the third time we have used Extra Space Storage in the past 5 years. The two different facilities were each close to where we then lived. This is our second time with a short-term rental at the current facility.(At the other facility we had a 2 year rental.)We have been consistently pleased with the helpfulness of the personnel and with the facili.

Horrible business! I wish I could give zero stars for the leaky roof. Dont store your belongings here, if you care about your things. Complete crooks for doubling the rent for no reason, they dont even provide a bathroom to wash your hands after moving. We found a newer, cleaner and less expensive storage in a safer part of town. Definitely not a place to do business with.

Great experience working with Maria she been so helpful during the asphalt project. But other personel that I communicated with had been so unresponsive when it comes to their customer during asphalt project.

I actually called on Sunday and the agent located the size I needed and reserved it for me for Monday morning.I called Monday morning and spoke with Steve, who was really pleasant and he walked through the process on the phone.Ive used other storage facilities before and they just seemed robotic.Im very glad I took a friend advice and gave them a call.

Used Extra Space before back in Florida, and this one blows the other one away. Steve was awesome and the site was clean and well-maintained. Definitely a good experience. Ill be coming back if I ever need another parking space.

When I came to inspect the rental space, I asked for what I needed for the amount of goods to be stored. I made this choice to rent additional storage instead of renting a 3 bedroom apartment. The site manager walked me to available space and got me get up and showed me how to handle the lock and access to the facility. He also provided me the online sales rate also.

Great customer service from Becky North and exactly the storage space I needed for transitioning between homes. The price was reasonable. But above all what makes this place stand out is the care and attention from the team. They helped me ensure I had the perfect size unit and made me feel confident in my storage needs and the safety of my belongings. Would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this location (1601 E Southern Dr.). The location is tucked away in a neighborhood but yet still easy and quick to access. This in turn makes it more secure in my eyes. Brent the manager is very accommodating and will spend all the time necessary you need to pick out the perfect spot. He went above the call of duty for me! Brent, I look forward to working with you soon in the next coming weeks. This place is top notch and very secure. Rates $$$ are also very affordable.

The entire customer service service experience with Extra Space storage could not have been better! From my first call to ask about available space to working with the manager at the Southshore Tempe location, they knew their stuff, were extremely friendly and just on top of it. They made everything easy and I feel very confident that if I had any issues or questions, they would be competent and friendly in helping me. You have so many choices in storage space, choose the company that treats you right and knows their stuff!

I just moved to Tempe and needed to store a few items as I downsized. This facility is close to home. I was helped by a wonderful young man named Sean, who saw to my every need. He explained everything in detail clearly, and made sure I understood. His customer service was top-notch! The price was very reasonable too! Thanks, Sean, for being so kind and in helping me to find some extra space for my things!

Not worth one star!! WARNING !! Dont store your belongings here or at any Extra Storage locations. WARNING!!!They pull the old bait and switch after only three months of us storing our belongings with them. And sent a post card instead of even trying to call or email me a notification that they were going to increase our monthly rate by almost double. Complete crooks that try to be sneaky to boot!!!I guess I should also mention the roof leaked!! Good thing we got out all of our belongings out before it all got moldy from the monsoon rains.

Set was 100% online and at a discount too! Super easy and we moved in a same day. They also provided a cylinder lock for my unit. It was way more simple to use than I thought. Wish it came with instructions.

Easy to work with. They stay on top of everything. Becky is always busy around the property keeping everything clean. She is easy to reach, and makes the process work well.

I needed to store some things last minute and found a great deal on a web search for a 5x10 unit. Patti greeted me with a smile and showed me the available units. She was efficient and knew her property well. She was very accommodating and helpful getting me set up, establishing my payment and paperwork, and even getting a safe and secure lock to finish off the process. It was painless and pleasant, everything you could hope for doing just about anything for that matter. ....thank you Patti and Extra Space.

I recently moved to town and needed trailer space for an RV. Patti went way beyond to help secure a spot for me and guided me through the paperwork before I even arrived in town. Place is clean and when I have been there, always someone around that knows what’s going on. Pretty good rate for space- very convenient for me so that always offsets a cheaper price. Happy camper here.

Storage unit went from 300 to 425 in two months

I have a giant school bus that I purchased about a year ago and have been struggling to find a permanent storage solution that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I was always weary of storage facilities because I assumed they would be out of my price range and came with too many restrictions about when I could come and go. This one fits us perfectly and we have extended hours of accessibility because we’re a business. All of our questions were answered and we left with peace of mind knowing that our bus was secure and safe.

This one was cheaper then one by my house. Only thing that sucked was the amount of carts in each area you need like 4 carts in each area not 1 or 2. We only used it to hold all of our stuff from our condo while we were buying a house. Nothing bad to say it was just another storage place this one is air-conditioned. Some near by are more not air-conditioned which is a real plus!

I reserved the space over the phone. Before I arrived at the storage, the manager had already called me and emailed me the lease. This made the process so much faster. Upon my arrival, we finished up the leasing process and she took me to my unit. Very pleasant experience

I’ve had a unit at Extra Space Storage for 3 years now. I do think the price has gone up a lot over the years I’ve had a unit here. I sent my dec page several times over the years so I could have the Insurance fee charged by the storage facility waived since my homeowners insurance also covers an offsite storage. Month after month it wasn’t removed and every time I called I was told they didn’t receive it. A few days ago I went in to check on my storage and pull something out and while I looked at how few things I had I pondered how much I was paying and became a little bit more upset about the waste of monthly money to store things we haven’t used in three years. I spoke with the on-site manager Patti and she gave Me her email address and I was able to send a copy directly to her of my declarations page from my homeowners insurance and she sent me an email with a $50 credit. It definitely doesn’t cover all of the months together that I’ve paid insurance but I appreciate very much that she was willing to even do that. The front staff has definitely improved. Even though I will be moving my stuff out soon, if I needed a storage unit in the future, I would use them again.

The storage lot is close to my home. Its always clean. But what makes it different from other lots is the way the manager treats the clients. Patty makes you feel like youre the only customers. Totally professional and personal. Great job Patty!

Quick and easy to set up the rental space. Very friendly and explained everything I had questions about. Very reasonable rate and I could pay in advance for the months I intended to use it. Quiet and safe location off the main streets. Clean, well kept facility inside and outside.

I was told I had until December to get my storage payments updated, turns out they already auctioned it at the beginning of November. They claimed to call and leave messages but not once did I get them or did they say they would sell my belongings from under my nose. I got one letter months ago saying I had until December. I guess they like to lie and illegally change auction dates. Thank you for ripping me off and causing me to lose all my things.

Holly demonstrated excellent customer service during my visit: she was quick to answer the phone when I called to reserve a unit, she was thorough and paient while I read the contract details during my actual purchase, and she showed good humor and willingness to help the entire time. Many other inexperienced and unattentive service providers might try to rush an individual through his review and purchase, especially when signing contracts, but not Holly. She patiently waited while I read the fine print, and thats a strong plus, these days. 5-star service during my purchase visit, easy!
