GARBAGE customer service. I arrived at this location today to pickup my cargo van and got a call at the same time, stating my cargo van was not available at this location and I need to go pick it up from another location. I drove 30 minutes to get here just to have to go drive somewhere else… this is insanity lol. No discount or anything Uhaul?? This was reserved over 3 days in advance, giving them more than enough time to advise me that I needed to pickup from a different location. No email, no text, nothing sent to me in advance. Thank you for wasting my time, but I’ll still be going to get the cargo van from the new location..:

Was having issues with getting a tow dolly returned from queen creek and dropping it off in tempe . I went to uhaul off scottsdale rd past Thomas and the guy there was rude and no help and told me I was SOL basically . So I drove to a different uhaul and Elejon was on it! He knew how to fix the issue and got everything resolved fast and efficient. Props to him for being good at his job !

I had a great experience at this location. Being up early is not my favorite thing but luckily we had an amazing worker to help make the process easier. Such a helpful man with a positive attitude! Make sure you ask for Donovan Thomas. A little positivity goes a long way!

Great u-haul shop - just returned a trailer and they had a great pull through option where the manager came out unhooked the trailer emailed my receipt and I was on my way. Friendly and courteous with prompt attention. Would definitely recommend

Their app was not working properly. The miles were not accurate according to the van. Also, they charged me for miles I did not drive and the drop off took so much time.

Leon, Meriah, and Aaron turned our one-day move 😜 into three without any hassles. Very cool peeps! The truck was a bit old and janky, but it ran and blew cold A/C on some hot August AZ days.

Quick and efficient, friendly and informative.I was really dreading the experience of hitching up a trailer in order to pick up a piano I’d purchased, but these guys made the whole process super easy. $16 for a trailer. They hooked it up, as well as unhooked it when I brought it back.Way easier than expected. Thanks guys.

Daniel at this location was truly one of the best workers Iv ever met. He was courteous, efficient and trustworthy. I left a personal belonging and he went the extra mile to ensure that it was returned to me. He is what we are needing during this COVID epidemic. He is what it means to be a strong American worker. I would 100% return to this location if workers like Daniel are there leading the charge. Daniel doesn’t know this but I am a healthcare worker for a major hospital in The Valley. Reserved a truck for a one way trip from Tempe to Stockton California (14 hour trip BTW) 30 min out ac stops blowing cold air it was anticipated to hit 114 degrees that day and it did! I don’t know about anyone else but moving already sucks as it is not to mention stressful especially such a long distance. We stuck rolled it out the windows, grabbed a lot of water and stuck it out. Apparently U-Haul wants us to pull over and wait for roadside for help IN 114 degree weather not to mention I was traveling with a 5 year old. I called when the issue came about no one told me to call roadside. What I was told is that they will put it down and when I get to the drop off the truck they will look at it. NEVER MENTIONED CALL ROADSIDE, I was told I SHOULD HAVE called roadside assistance when they called me 48 hours after I made the complaint. When I talked to Jeremy at the Tempe location on McClintock he stated to me when trucks go through inspection the turn the A/C on if it blows cold air it is good. JEREMY SAID: “Our technicians are not A/C certified” what are they there for if they cannot check everything on the truck, seems like incompetence to me. Not only that but I reserved for a one way trip and clearly my reservation said where I was traveling too, shouldn’t a business that’s providing a service thoroughly check that the truck they are going to give a customer is well prepared?DO NOT RENT FROM U-HAUL!I have given this company a fair share of money and for them to say “you should have called roadside” but I called and no one told me to do so, to me is not right.Roadside for me is for a break down.What are your workers there for if they cant correctly check the trucks?????????????????????U-Haul lost me as a customer forever!!And to make it clear you guys don’t even deserve my one star!

I had a scheduled appointment for a hitch at 7am on a Saturday. When I showed up I found out my appointment was cancelled. Nobody called me, nobody let me know. They scheduled me at another location on the spot. I went there and Im getting it taken care of. However, now my entire Saturday morning has been wasted. I dont get much time off work which is why I scheduled it first thing in the morning on Saturday to get it out of the way.This is a very unprofessional way to run a business. If youre going to cancel an appointment with a customer, at least have the courtesy to inform them so they can make appropriate arrangements.I was going to store my stuff here at the end of the month, but I will be taking my business to another location. Probably wont be a Uhaul.

The employees here are extremely incompetent and slow. They will drag their feet to get anything done. They are also very rude and treat customers very poorly. I would avoid this specific location like the plague. Also their storage units get broken into all the time.

Rented a 6x12 trailer and the guys were great that worked there. Super fast service and they helped hook the trailer up and then unhooked it when I returned it. Each employee that helped me was very nice and personable. Would highly recommend this location and I will definitely rent here in the future.

Got a hitch installed and although it took longer than expected, Donovan came through gave me a solid deal and helped me out big time. Rent trailers a couple times a week from them as well they’re great

Came into rent a trailer on a Saturday, Tee was super helpful and even stayed a little later to assist me. I needed that trailer that day and he made it happen. Tees customer service was above and beyond and thats not something you see in this day and age. Give that man a raise!

They charged me 40 miles extra, I didn’t check the mileage on the contract and I didn’t take a picture when I picked up the truck because I thought they are trustworthy place but it seems they are no more. For future customers please check everything before you pick up the truck before they steal your money as they did to me!

A complete disappointment! We made a reservation for the 10ft truck a week before we actually need it. When the time has come and we went to get it, they told us they couldn’t find our reservation. They were trying to put us in the 20ft truck and said there’s no any 10ft truck in any of the U-Haul place in AZ. We called another place asking for the 10ft, they had THREE!! We ended up getting it from a different location. Basically, they lied to us and wanted us to use bigger truck so they can get more money out of it. Don’t recommend this location, go to Apache insteat

My experience at this location was absolutely AWFUL. He was very rude and not helpful in any way. I would not recommend this location.

I really have a great experience each time I rent from here. Jeremy the store Manager is super friendly and professional and the other workers ive been helped by are quick and super nice as well. I will come to this location everytime if I can!!!

Ive never had any problems with this team or location. This center is super convenient and they explain all policies thoroughly. I even learned that they can hold your truck reservation today an hour past pick up even if you dont show up-just to accomodate any last minute changes that might occur. Alex Smith and team have been easy to work with and my rental with them last year went very smoothly as well. Would recommend if using services in Tempe.

First class five star service I rented a cargo van from pick up to drop off the staff was fantastic wished I got there names I was super pleased I would recommend this location to all friends & family they are super on point just wonderful crazy super happy 👍😆😄

It was all right. The guy who helped me rent a trailer was very soft-spoken and didnt really seem to care if I knew how to hook up the trailer or not. Just got me in and out very quickly. I didnt really care for the customer service I got but they let me keep the trailer longer than the 7 hour time we agreed upon and didnt charge me more, which was kind of them.

I have been to this location quite a few times and I have never been dissatisfied in any way, the people there are friendly and very nice to deal with, I have always been able to get whatever truck or van I needed without a problem even without a reservation although it’s best to have one! Thank you guys!

Triple charged me way over the amount bc they said I never returned the vehicle, called and they didn’t answer, called into customer service and they tried reaching out but the location still didn’t answer.

No one is ever there thats certified to fill propane. The one day someone was there, they wouldnt help because they were behind on a job.Not doing your job > waiting customers

Will NEVER go through U-Haul again. First call I made booking my uhaul and storage they told me false information telling me I would get my storage unit one month free. Sent my boyfriend to pick everything up, they lost my reservation and made him buy the 10X20 storage unit full price since that is all they had left. He drove around for 2 hours trying to get everything fixed which was their fault not ours. We were also told we could get our security deposit back on the 27, is it now the 28th. WAY OVERCHARGED FOR EVERY THING. The manager was supposed to get back to us and isn’t very worried about how unorganized this process was and how much money we wasted through lies and loss of reservations.

Its been there a long time for a reason, its in a good place and has what you need. Front area could be bigger to accommodate the vehicle movement but you manage.

This location has some very rude staff. I called in about a bunch of charges adding up to over $100 for a $10 foot truck. I was speaking to Stacy about the charges and she said to call back in the morning and hung up on me when I asked for her full name or id number for my notes. So I called back to get Todd this time who had just as much attitude with me as Stacy. You guys are in customer services if you dont like that type of work GET A NEW JOB!!!!

They would not let me use my own lock. The guy behind the desk told me they would cut my lock if I used it. I had to buy their more expensive lock and return mine. The guy behind the desk was very smug about it.

Screwed up my reservation. They were quick to fix it and offer a free upgrade. Found, when trying to return my rental in the next state that my actual rental never existed in the uhaul database.

Relocate our pick up location without proper notification. They just want you to drive more miles and pay more.

Very rude people poor customer service. Came to get gas after ringing the ring bell the guy was upset and stated cant you see we are busy. Have been waiting for 20min and no one has come by.

These employees will help you figure out whatever you need to use their equipment. They are the most helpful and cool employees.

I would suggest not going through u-haul at this location. Rude staff, unorganized, and unprofessional. The two times I have rented through this location, there has been poor customer service and extensive lines.

Rented a truck from them. Broke down. Called them and they transfered to roadside assistance. Waited an hour on hold. When we finally got back here we were told that they could rent anothet truck because they were closing.

CHEATER!!! Terrible experience. You wait half an hour in line and they told you that they have changed reservation address (10 miles away) for you. Uhaul change address so that you have to drive more and pay more to them.

They damaged my Jeep in the beginning of July and the manager kept saying he filed a claim but he never did. Now it’s almost September. Ridiculous

They had wet paint with no sign and now my sons arm is safety yellow:/ when I asked why there was not a wet paint sign. I was told kids will be kids. My 9 year old would not have touched it had there been a sign up.

The guy there helped me put the connector for the trailer lights on because I had no clue what I was doing. He even cleaned up the mess of electrical tape and zip ties my brother made when he bought the wrong/cheap trailer wiring.
