I asked for ball park figure on specific amount of 14k gold jewelry they started by saying 80% of spot then studarded to 70% because guy in background of phone call tried a quick correction to leave negotiations open type gimic. Check daily rates people for your specific item. Dont trust or go to these rip off artists glad I called prior to driving from republic ohio.

So I took 2 old pieces of jewelry I inherited and then the owner or manager?? Ross. I had spoken with over the phone week prior told to come on in to deal with him and that he would pay top dollar for what I had well he didnt do that offers me $270 for what he thought it was worth I go 8 miles the down the road and am offered double what he offered me and to be honest wasnt surprised at all but was fooled over the phone and I suggest everyone take your jewelery multiple places before selling your gold/silver to many rip off artists

I came in on a Friday afternoon probably around 15 minutes until closing time. I was THAT customer. Anywho, I walked in and was greeted and the staff behind the counter was very nice. Ross assisted me and after confessing I had never been in a pawn shop before took such good care of me! So honest and even took a little time to get to know a piece of my story. If youre looking for a place to pawn or sell something Toledo Gold Exchange is definitely the place to go. Ross was amazing and at no point did I feel as though judgement was being passed on me, which is rare when going to a pawn shop. I was offered a fair price at an understandable rate. You are given a 90 daay grace period & unfortunately I well exceeded the 90 day grace period due to unforeseen circumstances. I was honestly worried that the 2 pieces I took a loan out on would he far gone. However, I was fortunately wrong! They stop receiving payments & allowing pickups at 5 p.m. on Saturdays & I arrived at 5:25 p.m. I called the number, Ross answered & told me to come on in. He quickly retrieved my information & my 2 pieces. I paid the amount borrowed along with the interest & I was on my way. I must say I was truly impressed & greatly appreciative! Thank you so much for genuinely caring & for having compassion for people during their trying times!!!

I was late making my payment and thought for sure my items would be gone however when I got there the gentleman explained he knew it was tax time and was trying to hold off on getting rid of peoples items that didn’t pay. I have never been so relieved I cried almost the whole way there thinking they were gone and they weren’t! Most places would have gotten rid of your items the day you were late but not here! I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

They lock themselves behind a counter and when you call prior to see if they will give you anything for name brand items worth at LEAST $1,000 they wont give you anything! I wasted my gas and time driving to this place to be told they would not give me anything for my husbands laptop(would have been paid back in 2 days) they told me it needs to be full charge beforehand...would have been nice if they could have told me that ON THE PHONE BEFORE I LEFT HOME! Please go somewhere else...these people are a joke! The guy behind the glass also complained about my daughter being behind the counter....she wouldnt have been back there if you ran that place like a normal store and not a bank vault! Pathetic!

I have purchased tools, computer gear and movies there, as the prices are lower than items to be found on Craigslist from sellers I dont know. I dont usually recommend businesses to others, as I wouldnt want a friend to have an issue with me if something were to go wrong, but I have sent many good friends there with good reports back consistently. In particular, witnessing the main guy there (Ross) designing a beautiful ring on sophisticated CAD software with impressive skills led me to send a longtime friend in with his fiancee, resulting in one of the most spectacular wedding sets I have ever seen. Their happiness with the rings gets recited over and over every time we see each other.Its great to see a local business with such high standards of service and attention to detail, with integrity at its core....
