I take my 1994 4runner to Advanced Automotive regularly, a mechanic friend recommended this location. I do a lot of work on my truck myself, so I know a good shop. Advanced is a great shop, they did the work asked, no upsell or suggestions for things that did not need to be done. Job came in $200 less than the original quote, Wayne and his daughter are honest and communicate very well about repairs. I used to take my Acura TL there before I bought a new TLX, but once this car is off of warranty, it will be going to this shop also. Great people and I never regret taking my vehicles here.

Advanced auto has always been great. The news on the cost for repairs was hard to take but I discovered a long time ago they could be trusted to give you expert advice.

Everyone here is friendly and customer-oriented. They do a great job on vehicles - labor rates are at a slight premium but they do good work.

I really liked the service here....but I was the only car being worked on and it took 2 1/2 hours to do a front end alignment....oh well... food for thought...!

Advanced automotive has always taken care of me when I needed things done. I never felt taken advantage of and they were always honest about what needed to be worked on. There were multiple times where I opened up the conversation about needing my brakes checked or something else and they were honest and said that they still had life left in them. This is the BEST shop in Oregon!!We have used Advanced Automotive for 20 years on all 5 of our cars and they are simply the most honest, knowledgeable and superior shop around. Wayne and Nicole worked so hard to get me back on the road after my new Dodge Challenger got destroyed from a rogue piece of asphalt on the road. I love my car and literally would not trust the repairs to anyone else! Not even the dealer! They give everyone first rate service and honest answers. My car is actually better than it was before the accident! I cant recommend them enough!!

This is THE shop to use. Best and most honest shop I have been to in along time. Wayne tells it like it is with no baloney. This is not a discount shop but an honest professional shop with great techs. I had a quote from another shop for front-end work for $2000. I went to Advanced and did not tell them about the quote and they said I needed driver side tire rod ONLY. Wow. Tell everybody about this place!

Went in for an alignment and they did an awesome job! Only bad part was that my steering wheel was still a bit off centered after the alignment so I called back the next day and they took care of it in just a few minutes. Now my steering wheel is perfectly centered! The shop itself looks super clean and everything looks very professional.

I’ve always had a good experience with the service here and they’ve become the main place I go to for repairs. They are honest and let me know when/if repairs need to be made and are reasonably priced. Friendly and professional.

Took my old truck here for some bearing work they started in on it the next morning and found some major issues inside the hub. They were straight forward in contacting me and even ran across town to get last minute parts. In the end work was done on time and within the price they quoted no last minute hidden charges that most places conviently forget to mention. I will be bringing all my work here from now on

They did some work on my Jeep last year for a full $1000 less than the dealership estimated. I was extremely happy with the customer service and the quality of work.I just brought the Jeep back because Les Schwab said my alternator was bad. It turned out my alternator was fine, and Advanced Automotive is not going to charge me. They have certainly earned my repeat business.

Wow! Sounds like this place is the right place that I am going to take my vehicle in for wheel stud replacement. I moved here from New Mexico last year and really missed the mechanics I had there and have not found one here yet. Thanks for all the comments that enable me to have a good started.Update: I took my vehicle in today and I am glad I did. They fixed the problem without trying to sell more stuff than I need. We have been customers of Advanced Automotive for about 8 years. We cant recommend them high enough! Weve had multiple experiences personally and from friends and family that took their vehicles to a dealership and told needed work, to later learn from Wayne that the work wasnt needed. Theyve evaluated used cars for us. Finding a solid mechanic you can trust and have confidence is a rarity, like a finding a good primary care doctor. We live in the Beaverton area, but its worth the trip knowing we are getting great service and only what we need. To top it off, they are responsive and super friendly. Great job, Wayne and Nicole!

Talked with one of the mechanics over the phone. Gave me solid sound advice on avoiding a costly repair. Could have had me come in and sold me on an easy fix. Havent been in for service but if and when I do this will be my first call.

Took my 99 Suburban in for what I was sure was a failed transmission solenoid. Fortunately they didnt take my word for it. They asked a lot of questions and then did some research before digging in. Turns out it was a much simplier solution that what I though. The service turned out to be a fraction of the cost of what it would have been had they listened to this shade tree mechanic. They have earned a loyal customer.

The only shop that is trustworthy and stands by their work. I had trouble dealing with one crappy/shady mechanic after another for my entire life (beaverton is full of them, beware), but advanced automotive is the exception. They are very reasonable price wise, do a great job, wont try to up-sell you, honor their warranty, and stand by their work! there have been times where my personal diagnosis wouldve been a much more costly fix, but they called me and said hey its actually this and it was much cheaper. And if they make a mistake (hey we are all human) they will fix it for free, whereas most of the other shops I dealt with would try to sell me another repair claiming its actually this other part. Great shop! On the downside they are extremely busy, so they may not be able to take care of you for a few days, especially during summer

They took great care of our daughters car and were completely open about costs (unlike some other places). Definitely recommend Advanced Auto!
