I will start this off by I never write reviews for places but I felt it was necessary for this place. I had a misfire code in my forth cylinder and after messing with different fixes for it I could not get it fixed. I called Toy Doctor to get my Land Cruiser in and they were able to get my car in the next day and begin diagnosing the problem. It ended up being a fuel injector that went bad and for the amount of time they put into finding the problem I felt the price was justified. Thank you guys for the help!

They replaced the ignition coil, so now our Lexus engine runs smoothly, and no engine light, no VSC light. Plus, they fixed the air filter hoses that Valvoline lost, and left disconnected. Maintenance tasks of changing power steering fluid, changing brake fluid. Honest and reliable.

Not Impressed,I called this shop to have a lot of work done on my Honda Accord. The person who answered the phone was helpful and answered my questions. A few days later I called back to ask if I need an appointment however, no one answered so I left a message with my number for a call back. It has been two weeks since I left this message and as of yet, I have not received a return call. I called them a few days later and this time the person who answered the phone sounded like he had just woken up from a deep sleep as he seemed confused and said just bring the car in and hung up. The next day I called back again to find out if they would be able to drive me back to my home, which is about one mile away. Again the person who answered the phone sounded like I had just woke him up from a deep sleep. This time however, he seemed annoyed that his sleep was interrupted. If this is how Toy Doctor treats perspective customers, I shudder to think the type of service they provide. The disdain shown to a potential customer left me with a bad feeling about this business and therefore I decided to take my business elsewhere and received excellent service by a reputable establishment. The last thing I need is a shop that cant communicate appropriately, does not seem to care at all about customer satisfaction and has my car hostage. No Thank You! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

These do great work. Ive used them several times and they have always done a great job and quickly. They are very competitive and would use them over a Toyota dealership anytime. Thank you Danny for the excellent service.

I took my 99 4Runner in to get a good amount of work done. Valve cover gasket, spark plugs, intake manifold gasket, oil cooler O ring replaced, back left main axle seal, and some other things. All of it is still holding up and the price they quoted never fluctuated. All the work I had done actually was a little cheaper than what they quoted me.

I just picked up my 94 4Runner from the shop. Popped the hood and saw one of my belts was installed upside down. Its a Gates belt with teeth so Im laughing that Im going to have to fix this myself. This is a little embarrassing guys because this one is pretty obvious. Otherwise everything else is fine. Please double/triple check your work.UPDATE: This is how its supposed to be installed.

Excellent work on my 1986 Toyota pickup. My usual repair shop suggested I call the Toy Doc for a carborator issue and Im glad I took their advice. The work was completed in a timely fashion with good communication throughout. I will definitely be using this shop for all my Toyota vehicles.

Great service, good prices, and trustworthy. After a few terrible experiences with Toyota and Honda service centers in Wilsonville, we have been using Toy Doctor almost exclusively. When Honda told my daughter we needed to replace the radiator at nearly $1000 (wed just come over the mountains on one of the hottest weekends that summer with no problems 🤔 so I had a hard time believing him 🤥), Toy Doctor looked at it and (as I had expected) said it looked like someone had spilled a drop of fluid while filling it, not to mention their costs would have been less then half to replace, still no new radiator 2 years later 🤨. Toyota had quoted me (in email) that I needed to replace entire rack and pinion system on my truck. I declined and at another service appointment later, was told I needed CV boots, not rack and pinion. Both service managers showed me the same part (CV boots) 🤦‍♂️. Wound up having Toy Dr do the CV for me when they confirmed that diagnosis. Would definitely recommend them for your vehicle service needs.

Terrible, they charged me 160 dollars for diagnostic issues that I told them I had.. then turned it back to me saying yup its the motor mount... awful

I have had Kelly work on my Tundra a few times now. Once for an electrical issue and the other for a timing belt. I have had great experiences with their communication, quality of work and honest recommendations of what needs to or should be replaced. The prices are very fair and I dont feel like Im being taken advantage of with unnecessary work. Ill keep coming back for things that are out of my league when it comes to repairs.

I felt horribly scammed by the service we had done. My sons Camry broke down on the side of the highway and we had it towed to the Toy Dr. as they were the closes Toyota repair facility. Initially they told me the engine had to be replaced. Options were used or reconditioned. I paid fully list price for a used engine, then they said the motor for the A/C was out and it would be another $600 (it worked when we brought it in, but saw how it could have been related). Then when the car was finally ready my son drove it off and day #1 the radiator over heated. He called Toy Dr. immediately who checked it and said it would be ok. Then every day it would overheat and hed call the Toy Dr. who said to fill the antifreeze which he did. Bottom line he brought it back in and they said the radiator needs to be replaced for $400. They know exactly what theyre doing to make more money off of unsuspecting clients. STAY AWAY or youll be in the same scenario. I had him take it to another shop that can be trusted.

Great honest mechanics! They tell you exactly what needs to be done, and how much it will cost. They dont do any work until youve confirmed you want it done, and will even say soon, but not right now, youll need to do this.

I really like that at the Toy Doctors they ONLY work on Japanese cars.Great place great staff.

Trash. They charged me $1,900 to fix my air pump for climate control which I had to get a loan for, which broke a year later...Awful. Okay with taking advantage of people without car knowledge.

Best customer service ever had the timing done on my 2007 Xterra and a few other things that came along with it. I love my truck and it runs great Toy Doctor will keep it that way thanks a lot guys.

I paid $2,500 for a rebuilt engine from Toy Doctor. When I took it back under the 1 year warranty period, they charged me for repairs that were related to this rebuild. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau, the response from Toy Doctor was, No refunds and we will charge you to work on your truck to repair any issues related to the rebuild. Worst shop in Tualatin, and I have been to a few over the years. Repeated attempts to deal with this business have gone unanswered or just plain Screw you, we got your money already type of answer. Read my other reviews for honest shops. This is a terrible review as this is the worst shop I have ever been to after owning vehicles for 36 years. Zero stars would be appropriate.

As the owner of a 30 year old toyota 4x4 pickup,I was at my wits end trying to get it to run right. After searching the net for qualified mechanics to tackle my problem I settled on the Toy Doctor.Best dicission I ever made.They know their stuff !! Very professional.They walked me through what was wrong and how they could fix it. Now my 300k truck has a new lease on life!! Runs perfect and it didnt break the bank !! BEWARE!!!This is EXACTLY what gives professional mechanic shops a horrible reputation and SCARES the heck out of the general public, making them afraid to get their cars fixed.The Toy Doctor in Tualatin Oregon Charged me for a service I never requested, Charged me for an estimate without telling me previously and purposely told me there were things wrong that they KNEW werent true!Then, when I caught them at all this they just treated me badly and refused to refund me my estimate fee!I took my 1990 4 Runner in and asked for a general inspection and a repair estimate.Told them there was some oil leaking and the back window switch needed to be checked because the window would only function sporadically when I jiggled the switch.I came back to find a $112.00 bill $75.00 of which was for an hour spent on taking apart the whole rear section to tell me it was a computer relay that would cost over $600 just to make the window work.Well....this was fixed with a simple switch I obtained for free from a person parting out their Toyota. Which remember is what I had thought it was and the only thing I had asked them to check in the first place.Now this was just the beginning. I also received an estimate for over $5000 of other needed & necessary repairs including several oil leaks. I knew it couldnt be leaking form those places because it had been stored and JUST started leaking oil and NEVER leaked at ALL before that sooooo.... I decided to get another opinion and had it all checked out from another QUALITY PROFESSIONAL mechanic that told me it was only leaking from one, possibly two specific areas, which ended up being the power steering pump (around $150 TOTAL including parts to fix it from the new guy, and it was $270 from Toy Doctor) So we fixed that and the Oil Cooler O Ring total $65.00 and WOW a miracle NO MORE OIL LEAKS. It was not the main seals or the valve covers like the TOY DOCTOR had said it was. They had also said all the ball joints needed to be replaced and that wasnt true. Only the lowers did because the uppers had just been replaced recently. And SEVERAL OTHER things just like this amounting to over $5000 WOW... crazy huh??Sooo...I went in to talk to them about all this. I asked to speak directly to the tech who worked on the truck to explain all this. I found out that the tech had told the guy whos responsible for writing up the estimate that there was oil on several parts of the engine and the estimate writer just made the rest up.....again WOW!!!All I asked was for them to please refund me my estimate which was not fair because 1) they performed services I did not ask for 2) it was so wrong and 3) they never even told me there would be a fee for the estimate in the first place. I also asked they seriously consider changing their estimate protocol so it was fair and just!! But instead they just treated me badly and refused to refund me!...again WOWI am writing this Just for the principal because I believe its my duty..... I am also taking them to court. Please all of you others do the same!Wonderful huh??? BEWARE PEOPLE !!!UPDATE: Sued them in court and won and the owner has still NOT paid me what he owes!!
