I brought my 2013 Kia Sportage because it was making some strange noises to Chandras shop. He was able to get me in first thing in the morning and even offered to drive me to my job so I didnt miss any time, which was really convenient because I could show him first hand the noise and where it seemed to come from. After leaving my car with him he called and updated me 2-3 times throughout the day with different ideas and questions. The last call gave him the clue he needed, I had gotten brand new brakes installed about two months before and they didnt tighten my lug nuts all the way and the sound was the tire moving back of forth. He tightened them, drove it around for awhile before concluding that his job was done. He didnt charge me and I felt bad about that but I guarantee Ill be back for future maintenance/repairs to make it up. Use this shop if you want to be constantly updated on the status of your vehicle, get good work done, and just do business with an all around nice and professional guy.

I dropped my car off last Monday at my scheduled time for an error light on my dash Tualatin Auto never called so I called them. Their diagnosis revealed I needed a new brake module and I agreed to the work. After 3 days of not hearing from them I called them and the work still wasn’t done. They forgot to order the part. I needed my car for the weekend so they suggested I drive it and they would call first thing Monday morning to schedule the repair.They never called. When I called on Wednesday they said they forgot about me but would call first thing Thursday. It’s Friday and I still haven’t heard from them.It has been over 2 weeks since I first called and no repairs have been done.They are disorganized and have poor communication. I won’t be returning.

Car started stalling out of the blue while driving and while idling, not even starting up properly half the time. One call and Chandra made arrangements for me to be able to come in and look at my car on the spot to see if it was an easy fix. After finding out it was more complicated than originally thought, I left my car with the team and within days had it back and working wonderfully. They stayed in communication and value customer service very well! For a first experience this good, it certainly wont be my last going here!

Chandra was fabulous! I called about my car not starting and told him that I didn’t have a way to get the car to him to look at it. He and a co-worker drove to my house, jumped my car, and took it to his shop to fix. He even picked me back up to get my car when it was done...for no charge. Such a nice gentleman and fair with his prices! We will definitely use him for all of our car needs!

This guy was fantastic! They were super busy and he didnt think hed be able to get me in for 3 days (this was a Thursday) but he ended up squeezing me in Friday afternoon. They managed to look at my vehicle a few hours after it was brought in and had it done early the next day. I think the price was fair and the work appears to be very good. My partner and I have brought them a 1999 Honda Civic, a 2004 Subaru Forester, and a 2006 Acura TL to work on and have been continuously impressed and more than satisfied at the work they’ve done. These guys are legit. I have taken my truck there many times, and they always do great work at a reasonable price. A few times I have called them about concerns and they have me just swing by to look at it at no charge. I was having some car trouble, and I called a few places. I was going to have to wait up to a week to get my car looked at! I had no time for that. I called Tualatin Auto Repair and he said he didnt have much time, but he wanted to help me out. And that he did!I brought my car in that morning and Chandra and his team went to work on it even though they were swamped. I had my car all ready to go and fixed up by the next morning. Every now and then you stumble upon someone whos truly a good person. Chandra is one of those people.I called about a used Ford of mine that was basically rattling itself into the ground. Not only did they say sure bring it in, but talked me through how none of the repairs were worth it, and he didnt want to even charge me an inspection fee. He told me to bring it in no charge, and let him have a look.I made the (wise, oh gosh) decision to trade it in, and Chandra kept my appointment to look at my new (used) car, instead. After looking it over, and making sure the car was good to go, he shook my hand and told me to have a good day, no charge, no worries. Chandra is obviously someone who loves what he does, and cares greatly about his customers. This is honestly the best experience Ive ever had with an auto shop, and beyond. If you need work done, this is where you should go, theyll take care of you.

After taking my truck to Tualatin Auto Repair for the first time around 5 years ago, I will never take any of my cars anywhere else. I dont feel like they gave us or our car the time of day to do a respectable diagnosis on the leak I had. They looked at it and said it wasnt worth fixing and Id be better off buying a new car. I had a feeling this wasnt the case and went and bought a cheap set of tools and found the leak and fixed it fairly easily in about 30 minutes. I understand my cars not the nicest but its still a good running and driving car so to be told it needed to be replaced when a 40 dollar harbor freight tool kit and no parts got it fixed is just crazy.

These guys are great. I had an unusual problem with the car dying in the garage overnight. No indication the battery or alternator were responsible. I didnt even get the standard clicking for a low or dead battery. We went with a new battery and I havent had any problems since. You cant always count on meters to tell the story. You need a mechanic like Chandra who knows cars.

These guys are great! They have handled many different problems my cars have had over the years including different makes and ages. They always charge fair, and sometimes not at all if it is not a big deal. First of all, this is a family run business. They had great reviews and the owner always responded to the very few negatives. I appreciated that.My situation was very unique. I called the owner and spoke with him about what I was trying to accomplish. He initially said no because his lead mechanic was getting married in a few weeks and he was just too busy. I called 10 other shops and they all said no, they didnt want to deal with my car.My situation was this; I needed to drive my 1975 Corvette from Portland to Atlanta. The car had been pretty much sitting for 13 years.I called Chandra, the owner, back.(At this point we were on a first name basis). Told him I couldnt find anybody else to help me. He said he could do it. I had the car towed to his shop and he spent two weeks getting it ready. I flew in to Portland, picked up the car and in 4 1/2 days pulled into my driveway in Atlanta.This shop is honest. My bill was fair. I had no budget. Just told him to make sure I made it all the way home lol.Thanks again for all the help! Please pass on to all who made my trip a success!

Absolutely the most honest car repair place. Weve been bringing our cars to Tualatin Auto Repair for over 10 years. He is always busy ( a good sign) but gets to our cars quickly and efficiently. I had a repeat problem (which turned out to be a faulty sensor) which he warrantied and fixed the 2nd time for no charge. Truly honest and kind. Much better than a big retail place with no personal service.

They are really helpful and down to Earth. They have fixed multiple vehicles for me and its always done quickly and efficiently. I havent had any problems with their work, they know their stuff!
