8/22/2021. I highly recommend Jacob, at Mattress Firm IV on Andover Park W. (occasionally you will also find him at their location a couple miles away on Southcenter Pkwy.). He is VERY knowledgeable of each brand they sell, and did a great job educating me on the difference between “comfort” and “support”. A mattress can be “soft” and yet provide a lot of “support”, which is what I ended up choosing. That was a huge departure from what I had intended, which was to purchase a firm mattress, thinking that’s what I needed in order to get the support I wanted. He could speak to all of my particular concerns; a side sleeper with sciatic pain, and stenosis in my neck. I chose a mattress that “gives” at the pressure points, yet supports my spine. He spent a lot of time with me and was very patient, as I tried out every bed. When I left that day, I told him I appreciated how genuinely helpful he was, and that I wouldn’t buy from anyone else. I came back a second time, and again spent a lot of time back and forth on mattresses as I narrowed down my choice. I came back a third time to purchase. There was never any pressure to buy, it was always educational, as I had lots of questions. I purchased on Saturday and it will be delivered this Tuesday! These days a mattress is a big investment, and good customer service from a well informed sales associate is a “must” in my book. Good customer service seems to have slipped away from society. Jacob rocks! He get a glowing review, because he’s excellent at his job!

Amazing customer service!! Monday was my first day in Washington after driving 46 hours from South Carolina, and I needed to go somewhere that would supply me with a bed quickly. Konrad at Mattress Firm went above and beyond in assisting me with finding a bed that would satisfy my comfort level, and really took the time to find out my lifestyle habits to figure out which bed fit best. In addition, his counterparts at the other Mattress Firm in Tukwila were just as friendly and accommodating when I had to I would go over to their store to pick up items that were not available at the location I went to. I would give 5 start based off of the customer alone. You have definitely found a customer for life, thank you!!

My wife and I came in to look and were pretty sure we wouldn’t be walking out with a mattress unless it was a steal. Theo treated us great and found us a very comfortable mattress within our budget. Absolutely blown away by how awesome a process it was to purchase my mattress here. Went in to the store just to look around, but ended up with a purchase Im extremely pleased with due to Tyrees help. I had previously gone to other stores trying to find my ideal mattress, but had no luck. I cant stress enough how great Tys customer service was - super friendly, honestly, helpful, and everything else that youd want in an ideal sales rep.

I love my bed!! I really didn’t know about beds until I stopped into the Southcenter Mattress Firm store. Abdi, the store manager was so helpful. I spent a few hours learning about mattresses! We went in knowing nothing about mattresses and Ty patiently walked us through different levels of firmness, support and was transparent about pricing. He even took the time to seriously look into us getting the best deal. Stayed on budget and it all took less than an hour!

Tl;dr: the customer-facing staff at Mattress Firm will do anything in their power to get you what you need. Their infrastructure could use some work.We were in the process of moving and needed a box spring because ours broke. I looked on Mattress Firm’s website to see which store had one in stock so we could pick it up same-day. The website guided us to the South Tukwila location (corrected from the initial review). So we hopped in our rental van (which charges by the mile).We told the sales associate what we needed that day and that we were also looking for a box spring for our guest bed, but less urgently. He said we would be able to pick both up from the distribution center that day. It was already 6PM. He told us (and the paperwork he gave us confirmed) the distribution center is open every day from 9AM-7PM.So we hopped back in the van and journeyed to the distribution center in Sumner. We roll up to the customer pick-up door and ring the bell. The time is 6:35 PM. The hours posted on the door contradict what the associate told us. We ring the bell and call the distribution center phone number several times, again to no avail. I leave a detailed message with the distribution center asking them to call me back. At 6:50, after pounding on every door and ringing the bell again we give up.The next day (Monday) we received no call back. Calling the distribution center only gets their answering machine. Calling the store only gets their answering machine. The answering machine gives different store hours than those posted at the door. We had to return the rental truck.It was a stressful end to an already stressful weekend of moving. The rental van “24-7” pick up turned out to be only during store hours. The 8-hour internet service window got pushed from Monday to Tuesday so one of us had to take another day off work.We tried two other avenues to get help with the order. We left an initial 1-star review and we submitted a help request form on the website. Within 24 hours I got phone calls from two different managers offering to make it right because of the 1-star review. They were happy to switch our order to delivery. Within 36 hours I got a third call about the help request.I appreciate the 2-hour delivery window and flexibility to deliver on weekends. And they delivered exactly when they said they would.So we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor for 5 nights. And we wasted time and money putting extra miles on a rental van. Not the end of the world but certainly not ideal. And it was avoidable.Here’s the point I’d like to make: it should be clear what your hours are. I can understand these are turbulent times. So maybe the phone tree information is outdated. Maybe the website is outdated. But when a customer is talking to a sales associate, that associate needs to have the most up-to-date information. The hours on the paperwork I was given were incorrect. The phone number on the paperwork I was given is not monitored. This isn’t the associate’s fault. They need a system they can trust to have up-to-date information. And other things like the website and the telephone tree can be updated based on that system. It’s important to have one authoritative source. Otherwise nobody knows which source is correct.

Heard from a friend that Mattress Firm is very friendly and informative to clients, and so my bf and I headed there to hopefully purchase a good enough bed, we had to dump the previous one. Arthur Presto greeted us as soon as we walked in. There was also a great sanitizing station to the left, which we utilized. After getting our names, Arthur ran us through the process of elimination to best help us find a great deal that suited our sleeping styles, needs, and price range. He helped us achieve all those and MORE. We learned quite a bit about just how essential finding a mattress is for daily living, in terms of body mechanics and positioning rationale. In the end, we went home SUPER DELIGHTED with a whole sleeping set: mattress, bed frame, pillows and sheets, the whole package. After the initial credit check, we were granted 48 months to pay it off, INTEREST-FREE! No downpayment, tons of specials included. All in all, we saved over $1,200+. Delivery for everything came right on time the very next day, Jose put everything together within 15 min. THANK YOU ARTHUR PRESTO for all your help, hes at the Tukwila Southcenter Parkway location, highly recommend! Hell assist you in any way he can.

This was my second visit to Mattress Firm and it was as brilliant as the first time five years ago. I needed a queen big puffy bed with all the extras that will be going into my RV and found it. Sales Associate, Katheryne Galema helped me find the perfect bed. What a great gal to help me pick out a big purchase that is essential in everyones lives; to have a wonderful sleeping experience. I liked wondering around Mattress Firm with her, talking and laughing with her. We ended up with a choice of three then one. BOOM! I picked the bed, sheets and extras with the help of my Associate buddy Katheryne and headed home feeling very good about my purchase. Will use Mattress Firm again for any of my sleepytime needs. Mike is the man!! He did everything possible to make us feel comfortable with our purchase, and we walked away happy to spend our money. His communication was incredible start to finish. My husband and I are in our early 30s and told him we neither deserved nor could afford an adjustable base. He proved us wrong and we are in LOVE with our new bed. We had a lot of moving parts (mattress, pillow, base, mounting kit...) and some delivery snafus but every single time Mike made it right and communicated with us (where the shipment is, what happened, etc.). We appreciated his sincerity, professionalism, and thoroughness until everything was delivered and we were happy.

While showing us different mattresses in our price range, they were very helpful in explaining the benefits of each, and giving us space to talk and decide which would be best for us. Our experience started off great working with Greg seemed to be some light at the end of our tunnel for finding the perfect mattress. He gave us a great deal on a bed that was supposed to be our last search. We were very clear at the beginning since we had already had a bed returned at a different location that we didnt want to pay an outrageous price if our bed was not a good fit. Greg assured us that the maximum that we could be charged was $250 + the shipping cost, since we had another family member that had used this organization and had zero refund charge we felt good about the deal. We signed and accepted Delivery of the bed.The shipping company rammed this extremely heavy bed up our stairs and ripped the baby gate out of the wall. Then after 2 weeks of sleeping on the bed my wife was having severe hip discomfort we requested that the bed be returned. Mattress Firm required that we make an in store visit to get this process started, so we did mentioning that our family member returned a bed with no restocking fee. Greg said he would check with his district manager but never got back to us with the outcome.One week later the shipping company returned, my wife stayed home from work to meet them waiting all day long they showed up, wrapped the bed up, prepared to take it away, then ripped off the plastic and said the bed was damaged and couldnt take it.So another phone call to Greg, who had to call the shipping company and schedule another pickup so another week went by and finally the bed got picked up. 2 weeks later we were out a $500 restocking fee and left with no bed to sleep on.Finding a bed is tough, clearly we understand that they had to recoup some of there costs, and would have been fine with the initial $350 charge laid out in the agreement. Unsure as to why other mattress firm customers are not charged fees and we are is absolutely absurd to us.

Alex is the store manager at this location, and is the one who assisted us in our mattress shopping endeavour. He was very knowledgeable and courteous, and spent enough time with us to make sure all our questions were answered. He even gave my wife and I some points to consider that we hadnt even thought of in the context of buying a mattress. He did not apply any high-pressure sales techniques, and allowed us plenty of time and opportunity to go back and forth between trying a few different models to get a feel for them.When it came time to talk numbers, he laid everything out up front and again spent enough time working with us to determine the best option for our financial situation.There is also a little play area with some toys to keep the little ones busy while Mom and Dad try out mattresses and make payment/delivery arrangements. The store is clean and well kept, and there are plenty of floor models out so you can get a feel for the best mattress for you.

Went shopping over Labor Day weekend, started at Ashley Furniture and found a mattress that we liked, but they couldn’t deliver for 3 weeks! Went across the street to Mattress Firm and had a great experience - no high pressure sales, easy going atmosphere.... still, we wanted to go to one more store. Walked into Mattress Depot and instantly had the high pressure sales pitch, and then the guy walked away without answering any questions... so, we went back to Mattress Firm and had our mattress delivered the next day!!!Matthew was extremely helpful both times and we really enjoy our new bed!

Buying a mattress from Matress Firm was the best purchase Ive made in a long time. Michael Roberts educated me on the technology that goes into every mattress and how it would not only improve my sleep but my overall life quality. He was right. I sleep better and my brain is more focused during the day. My wifes back and neck are getting better and she sleep more soundly. This is a perfect purchase! I bought a bed for my daughter also. She loves her full size bed too. Michaels knowledge was priceless. I will be back to buy a bed for my guest room soon. (Maybe not, I want guest to leave eventually)

My wife and I had a great experience with Mattress Firm. We worked with Michael and a new trainee, Lonnie, at Mattress Firm. We got excellent and attentive care and they really helped us pick out a mattress that would be best for us. Both Michael and Lonnie were great at educating on mattresses and pillows and making us feel at ease. The whole experience was relatively stress free (I recently read buying a mattress is the most stressful retail experience). I would totally give this a five out of five rating on customer service and experience in store, as well as help after our purchase. The delivery was unfortunately less than ideal.We were not called the night before with a delivery time, the delivery team arrived early and did not call to let me know they were here, I happened to run out to the car to get something and there they were. They did not really greet or talk to me upon arrival. One guy came up and took the mattress on the bed off himself, cutting a hole in the middle of the back for a hand hold (so much for the mattress being offered to those in transitional housing as described by Mattress Firm staff). They more slid than carried the mattress in and up the stairs, thankfully it was wrapped in plastic, but still not my favorite. They asked for my help carrying the mattress up the stairs as it was heavy (as mattresses tend to be). I didnt really see how I could help as they hauled the mattress upstairs however. They were like bulls in a china shop negotiating the mattress through my apartment, kicking over the dog bowl onto a bunch of books and nearly knocking over a night stand. Additionally they were supposed to install the mattress protector, which they did not, so I suppose Ill be lifting the mattress off the bed tonight to install that. Surprisingly they didnt seem to damage the mattress or the furniture, however, it was one of the worst delivery experiences Ive ever had.That said the rest of this experience was great we are looking forward to our new mattress and I have a hard time believing my delivery experience was indicative of the general delivery service.

Abdi and Tyree took care of us even though they were incredibly busy during Labor Day Weekend. I have never had such great customer service and believe me I am hard to please. I don’t do reviews, that’s how good they are.

Really knowledgeable staff and prices that are as good as Sears. They have a slightly different selection. Most mattress places have the sales people that are always pushing hard for their sale. The guy who helped us Gregory Baldonado was awesome. He was patient t with us wanting to try a lot of beds and also gave us a lot of good info. He even set it up so we could get delivery on a holiday! This place is definitely worth the time if you need a new bed or even want Info to shop around with.

About a week ago, we took friends here to buy a mattress (on sale) & a stand. We went here, because Diane Kennedy works here, & she provided me excellent service @ the Westwood Village store last September. My friends had a strict budget to work with, the woman just had major surgery, & her husband is having major surgery in the very near future. Diane Kennedy, whos always very personable & friendly, was more than helpful. Diane answered all of their questions & made the best suggestions for their personal needs. My friends were ecstatically thrilled with their purchase of the perfect queen-sized mattress for them & an adjustable base thatll raise their heads & provide more comfort, while assisting in their recuperation & healing. Diane was able to set them up on an affordable payment plan. She also went above & beyond the call of duty to provide them with other aspects of extra assistance.
