I called Barnett Music Exchange and ask them if they were interested in buying a soundboard. Its a nice board and brand new cost about $7,500. I was informed that they wouldnt buy it but they would put it in their shop on consignment. I arranged to meet them later that day and when I got there after driving a ways to get there they decided that they didnt have room for it and then recommended that I take it somewhere else. When I took it to their recommended place the people there wanted nothing to do with it.

Very kind, funny, and understanding people. I brought in my vintage horn. They loved playing it but, unfortunately, its past its prime, like me, lol. I highly recommend this establishment! PS, I read the review about that HUGE soundboard. It belongs on Star Trek!! Which button fires the photon torpedoes? 😂

This is only the second review I have ever written using my real name online. Ceth and team at BME are well worth it. We were able to purchase a tenor saxophone from them that my child has been searching for for over two years. Their communications were top notch, they called when they said they would even if they did not have an answer yet. They accepted some negotiation, which was wonderful. Also, the gave my child all the time needed to play around with the saxophone in order to make the final decision. Ceth made the whole transaction easy and painless (the pain will come when the bill comes in the mail, LOL). My family would definitely do business again with BME. The team is very personable, professional and laid back. What a nice group of guys. The only thing I can complain about is getting a speeding ticket on my back home. Great selection, great atmosphere, and the staff is wonderful. The store is thoughtfully laid out and not over cluttered. Cameron helped my son pick out a guitar, a feat I never thought possible. He was patient and answered all of his questions and didnt flinch at his indecisiveness. Their selections range from a couple hundred dollars to top of the line. All options are great. We had been looking for months and after some Googling, came across Barnett Music. So so glad we did. They offer private music lessons too! We will be switching at the beginning of the year. . . Though my son wants to switch now! We are making him stay though his holiday concert at the current place ;)

Very cool music store. Not huge but they make up for quantity with some great guitars. Taylor and Paul Reed Smith are probably the headline names but they had some great more boutique names.

We just transferred into this school system and I was in a panic trying to get my son a trumpet when hes already 3 weeks behind the other students. I called Barnett Music Exchange and they made the process super fast and easy. It was a great bonus that they are also open later so I didnt have to take off work just to get my son what he needed. They were familiar with the process and knew exactly what type of instrument the school required and had everything we needed together for us within just a couple of minutes. I would highly recommend them!!

Great staff. I was looking for a good used trumpet and they helped me find a great deal on one that was way better than I hoped for. The horn is is excellent condition, valves, slides all super smooth. It has a really nice sound as well.

There are new hip products that are highly sought after - niche products. Barnett Music keeps their finger on the pulse of cool so you can know that you are getting the latest greatest gadget/amp/guitar. I bought a Darkglass amp and a Dingwall Bass. Yes, it is the coolest!

I’ve known Ceth(BME owner) for 5 or 6 years now, since before BME started, when he was helping me at a previous music store in Tulsa, OK. He has always been incredibly genuine, sincere and interested in helping me find my sound and getting me the best gear at an incredible price. He has continuously gone above a beyond to help when I least expected it. I can’t speak highly enough of the character and thoughtfulness of this man and his company. I used to live in Oklahoma and I see reviews saying that BME is the best in the state. I currently live in Austin, Texas (The Live Music Capital)... I have tried to search all around for proper help with little fulfillment beside simple “transactional agreements“. My son and his father found a new trombone here. It was a great deal from all the ones we had been looking at in the past few months. We had a few people helping to pitch in the money to pay for it and the company worked so well with us on getting that done.
