Support your local record store! Blue Moon Discs on Sheridan is a great spot to dig through both old and new vinyl. He keeps a wide variety of music, and keeps the selection changing. We had a great time supporting Record Store Day 2019! This shopping center is really taking off! Stop by and check em out.
Great prices, lots to choose from. I’d say more used vinyls for good prices then newer ones. Sprayed our hands when we went in for COVID precautions.
Nice store. They take COVID seriously which is nice. Plenty of records to look at. Will be back.
Had damn near everything I wanted
I shopped here today for the first time and I enjoyed it a lot! The owner was very nice and helpful! I asked him if he had any Jazz and he pointed me in the right direction and also told me about the new records he had just put out today! He also help a couple while I was still looking around and was very friendly and helpful to them. I ended up leaving with 10 used records for $56 dollars, which is a steal!
Googled local record shops. No posted hours online. Went up no hours posted on door. Open sign was on. Owner (I am assuming) told me I had 1 min to look around because he closed at 6:00 and it was 5:59. Was very rude in the 20 sec. interaction. Not a good way to treat a first time customer or any customer for the matter. Lost any business I had to give.
Attended Record Stoe Day of 2019.Totally found every vinyl record I desired. A true environment of vinyl lovers.
This really is an excellent record store. I recently picked up 4 R&R LP for $20. Used, but in great shape, not a single scratch. Huge selection.
What a great selection of LPs, found everything I was looking for and good pricing on used LPs
Great store. For those commenting on the owner, Hes a good guy, just not an extrovert. If you have a question, hell answer in good spirits. I wish hed offer to sell some of that awesome stereo gear he has in there.
I really enjoyed visiting this record store. Small but good prices on records. The gentleman working was friendly enough and helped me figure out what was what.
Very down-to-earth cool dude good place to sell rock and roll records
They have lots to choose from. Be prepared to spend some time items are sorted by category. Lots of records!! Some CDS. Overall really cool place.
The selection of used records was pretty good and prices were very reasonable (for the used records). Owner isnt the friendliest guy but that didnt bother me enough to not buy some great priced albums. I will go back.
Cool little shop. Nothing fancy. Groovy stuff playing on the turntable and a fair selection to flip thru.
A cool small local record shop. I hope to return whenever I find myself in Tulsa again.
I went back on here to read recent comments and Im sad but also pleased to know that Im not the only one who thinks that the owner is unfriendly and aloof. Its baffling to hear other customers state that hes conversed with others but has been negative with others.Medication?Such a shame that a fun hobby like this can be ruined by a man who isnt stable or professional with its customers. They say try to not let one person ruin it for you but when you pay top dollar on something, you expect outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
Vinyl junkies live for shops like these. Loads of record bins to dive into. Hot spots are classic rock and Jazz. The owner heavily supports local and independent artists.
Get that hard to find classics there great local shop
Disorganized and dirty shop. I have visited twice as I traveled through Tulsa and both times I was told he needed to close up shop and run an errand. There are a lot of albums in boxes and behind the counter - seems like there might be good finds there somewhere, but is it worth the effort and putting up with the whims of the owner - not for me.
Awesome place!Posters records cdsVast amount of artistsHard to find quality andunusual verity!
Great selection. The inventory is refreshed often to keep every trip interesting. Lots of options from just about every genre.
This store has everything you could want, you just need to dig for it. Plus the owner is a very nice guy, for all the negative reviews just dont come in 5 min before closing!! Average retail practice.
Great atmosphere and great new selection! BMD is the best!
Lots to chose from if your not looking for new music.Very friendly and helpful.Even keeping an eye out for a few special requests for me.Thanks! !
The Manager at this store is truly a person of low morals and he does not know how to treat customers. Ive been in this store four times and he is always the same, rude and no help to anyone. Here are a few reasons not to go here:1) He may have a lot of records that are very rare, but they cost a gob of money; he does have a box for cheap dollar records, however he complains about them not being any good yet he sells them.2) He will get really angry if you venture into an area that has records set up too look like they are for sell but they are really his personal collection. I have no clue why he has them out in the open with the rest of the vinyl.3) When you are looking for something, he has no clue what you are talking about and it sounds as if he has no idea what is in his own store. Plus he says he alphabetized all the vinyl, but when go look for something the titles are completely random.4) He is a creepy old man who has a bad history of conversing with other people and he is very introverted. He will talk rudely to you thinking that he was saying something nice.*its a shame many weirdoes run vinyl shops like these, not many other shops in Tulsa except Starship; and lets not go there with those people.
Old fashioned hang out record store. Sells cds too.
Tulsas best selection of used vinyl!
In a word Awesome! I found vinyl that I had been looking for years and I came all the way from Daytona Beach to meet Warren the owner who was wonderful, not to mention he really knows the music and the history behind it.Check him out, no matter where you are in the world.I Love this Place.TRTDaytona Beach
Best selection of vinyl in town and at the best prices. The owner is friendly.
No way to find anything.. He wont let you look in the boxes ... Good luck .. Oh prices not bad if you were to get something
Visited this place a few weeks ago, if you like a cluttered shop and an employee/owner to totally ignore you as they watch a movie on their laptop this is the place for you. Not impressed one bit.
I enjoyed my time in there. Plan to go back soon
