Went in a few months back to see if they had any new iMacs in stock even though I knew they probably didn’t because of back orders. Matt was very helpful in showing me what I could get and what I needed to go along with what I wanted. I told him I work in the shopping center and to let me know when they got some in. Well yesterday he remembered and came through! If you’re in need of new Apple products or repair, go see Matt!
Wasn’t sure what to expect since I only dealt with Apple for repairs in the past. I brought my Mac book in for a lid replacement. From drop off to turn around it took only 6 days! That’s extremely quick considering they didn’t have the part in stock. Communication from the staff was excellent. The tech, Billy (I hope I remembered his name?), was great. I will return for future business as well as purchases.
By far THE BEST in Tyler! I have been to several tech stores and Simply Mac is the best hands down. They are so informative and nice. They do courtesy calls and update your device if it’s needing repaired. All the employees are GREAT, but I have to point out Amanda and Ashley because they were so nice and helped me every step of the way! Thank you Simply Mac!
Overall they did a great job fixing my MacBook. The display was having trouble and was covered by a warranty by Apple and they fixed two recalls. Also they did a great job and cleaned it really good before it came back.👌 I wish there would have been a bit more communication but it was fixed and I am thankful!
These guys were courteous, professional and extremely helpful. They were far more helpful than the online and phone techs at Apple Support.
A complete waste of my time. They have no customer service skills. No one speaks to you when you walk in the door.I had an appointment and still didn’t get acknowledgedStood around for about 10 minutes waiting for them to finish with clients.I sat down for another 6 minutes and patiently waited. One of the guys was finally free and I still didn’t get helped so I just walked out.
Friendly, tried several ways to fix my iPad but to no avail, informative, great staff
The staff was great and very helpful - they obviously take pride in their jobs!
Awesome experience! My Customer service rep was a beast! 7 people walked in and she was still able to help me and 5 others before I had to leave.Great job!
I spoke with Kevin the Manager, about reinstalling the operating system on my new iMac. I had interrupted the migration assistant and caused a problem restarting the iMac. Kevin was super responsive and helpful. I thought I would have to leave it overnight but he got it done in less than two hours. Excellent service!! Highly recommended!
Just called to ask a question about the sorry iphone 12 mini, the guy was rude and seemed irritated.
Any time I have trouble with my iPhone, I go to Simply Mac! It’s great to have access to top of the line help available and you can do in person not the phone. The techs are outstanding and a great source of relief to a non-Geek! They are patient, friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Try them! You will be pleased!
I called and verified that they had my screen in stock. I drove 1.5 hours to get there and waited two more hours for it to be told they did not have it. 5 hours wasted.
Needed a cracked screen on MacBook Air fixed in a hurry and it was repaired in less than a week. Laptop looks brand new and as if it was never damaged. These guys are authorized service reps of Apple and my laptop was fixed under Apple Care coverage. All Apple stores were closed due to Covid-19. I was hesitant about going here initially but these guys know what they are doing and I’d highly recommend this place. Thanks!
Kevin was the supervisor at the store in Tyler, Tx that assisted my son and me. I was new to this area and Kevin was able to address my concerns very professional and accurate. We purchase a phone case that dont fit but we will return it on the weekend. But I was pleased with my services at Simply Mac.
If I could give this business zero stars, I would. They were a complete waste of time. They have customer service skills. No one speaks to you when you walk in the door. I stood in the middle of the store, waiting for some direction for 10 minutes before one of the associates finally asked out load if anyone had an appointment. They are rude and not helpful at all.
The service and the prices are what they should be had a great experience
Simply Mac in Tyler, TX never disappoints! Their customer service is always excellent. They are very helpful. I didn’t get what I went in for, but I got something much better! I highly recommend Simply Mac for all your Apple needs.
Great people to deal with. I had been all over Tyler looking for a specific watch for Christmas and no one had it. I remembered going there once before and had excellent customer service. Same thing this time. Will definitely be going there first from now on.
I was incredibly please by the outcome of my issue. My macBook stopped working (screen was black) they tried to repair but ended up sending to Apple. My computer was fixed and it is in great shape. Would certainly use them again!!
Terrible customer treatment. Would not recommend.
I’ve brought in several items for repair in the past month, they do good work and have a fast turnaround time. I think Martin and Brian were the ones who helped with my most recent repairs — they and the rest of the staff I’ve encountered there have always been courteous, helpful, and professional. Thanks, y’all!
My visit to Simply Mac was a very pleasurable experience. Their customer service agents were very kind and helpful. My computer issues were taken care in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend Simply Mac to anyone with any Apple product issues. They also have a large range of Apple products.
Called for appointment at 11:45?to have laptop fix. Gave all information of type. Just need to replace space bar. Drive from Dallas. Had to wait in line outside for other customers that didnt had appointments. Then they want to send out to be fix. To be fix 4 to 7 days, sometimes 10 working days. But over the phone. They said that they had a large stock of parts.
Everyone is so helpful and the service department is so knowledgeable!
I was shopping and I stopped to watch the super talented ladies at the MAC store do some amazing makeup makeovers. I asked about getting a makeover, i love their makeupbut Im clueless on what works for me. Victoria did my makeover, and I was happy to let her do whatever she wanted. She did a FANTASTIC miracle of a job. She turned ordinary into absolutely amazing!! So many people stopped me to ask where I got my makeup and what colors (eyeshadow, lipstick) I was wearing. I referred them to MAC/Victoria. I have never gotten so many compliments!!! I will definitely be going back to purchase more MAC products!!
Brought my Mac Book Pro here to get my backlight fixed and was never contacted about the progress of my computer. I finally called and asked what was going on, and they tried to charge me $900 to fix my backlight because they said my apple care didnt cover it and tried to convince me that Apple themselves wouldnt fix my computer because of a chip in the plastic. This process took almost over 3 weeks. I finally get the computer back, after calling MYSELF to see if it was there in the store, and called Apple, only to find out that my apple care expired 2 days prior to me calling Apple. After explaining the UNFORTUNATE experience with their third party store, the happily extended my apple care plan and had my computer fixed and returned in less than 4 days.Never again will I use Simply Mac. Something that they said would cost $900 ended up costing NOTHING at all because of Apple.
Weve used Simply Mac before and, each time, the experience has been good. This time was to transfer data from my old 8 year old Mac to my brand new Mac. All questions were answered appropriately, price was reasonable, length of time I was without both computers was less than 24 hours, quality was great, and it all went smoothly. Staff is always polite and helpful.Well continue to use Simply Mac for our computer needs.
Very professional and knowledgeable. I walked in with an iPhone I had purchased elsewhere. It was locked in a recovery mode and the technicians at the original seller (Best Buy) didnt know enough to be of help so they referred me to Simply MAC. That was the first really useful thing they did for me. Simply MAC had me back out the door in less than an hour with a fully functional and fully data-restored phone! Good folks, reasonable prices and know what the hell theyre doing....as good as it gets.
Had to replace the screen on my iPhone 8 unfortunately. They made it so easy and they fixed my phone faster than what they quoted me. Amazing people and super fast service is what you get here. Thanks yall!!
Everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. My daughters Iphone broke and they were gracious enough to assist us in sending it back to Apple. I needed to back it up before I sent it back and they were very patient and happily assisted me when I ran into an issue with it. Thank you to your staff for their professionalism, kindness, and for going out of their way to make our experience with Simply Mac a great one. We will definitely be back!
OUTSTANDING service. Went in several times over a 3 day period and they were beyond helpful, EXTREMELY knowledgeable and patient with my 76 year old husband. And this was the day after Christmas. Will only use this store from now on.
💻 My 3 year-old MacBookPro3 battery crapped out on me. Looked online for an appointment at an Authorized Apple Repair facility. Only one (1) w/in 2-½ hours of Paris, TX could see my laptop in the next week 🍏 Simply Mac in Tyler. Drove 2-½ hours there.💻 They took my machine & $291.ºº, said theyd back it up (maybe) & run tests. Called me & said: It has lot of food particulates, will have to send it to Apple to get repaired. But I had to drive back to Tyler to run my card thru their machine & even though all the hardware other than the battery tested out O.K., the now tier-4 repair is going to cost me $1,699.⁴⁷❗💻 Havent gotten my laptop back yet. Will complete this review after driving 2-½ hours to Tyler for the third (3ᴿᴰ) time to pickup my hopefully repaired machine.⛺️ So far, Im 𝑵𝑶𝑻 a happy camper. But if my MacBook works well for the next long while, both my attitude & rating will change.🆙 Update. Simply Mac called & said my MacBook is back in Tyler from Apple. Its fully functional, Apple downgraded the repair, resulting in a $1,200 refund.🥳 WooHoo 🎉.🤠 Good news.⛺️ If it works correctly as they say when I get it back (dont have to drive 2-½ hours to Tyler a 3ᴿᴰ time - Simply Macs shipping it to me for an additional $16.ºº), Ill once again be a happy camper.💻Got my laptop back. It works well. 🥳 WooHoo 🎉
First time around, had no problems. Had to go back because something they “fixed” just broke something else. Then, tried to charge me $650 to fix something they broke. I will NEVER be returning. Absolute BS.
Excellent service in helping with our iPhones. Walked away very please!!
The staff at this store have always been friendly, patient, helpful, and competent. When I have a problem with an Apple product, or need accessories- this is where I go.
Thank you for the great service!!! Will always go to Simply Mac first. Very personable. I felt like I was the most important customer and saw they treated everyone that way. Great customer service. Miles was so nice and patient. Thank you!!!!!
Wow. Simply amazing service. The face popped off my Apple Watch. It was out of warranty so I took it into Simply Mac to see about having it repaired. They told me Apple was aware of the problem (apparently the battery expands and pushes the face off) and had extended the warranty. Simply Mac got all my info and sent the watch off to Apple. The next morning they called and said it had arrived at Apple and was being processed. The very next morning they called and said they had my brand new watch ready for pickup at the store. All for no charge. Thanks, Simply Mac and thanks Apple!
I echo the many comments about terrible customer service. Went in to have my daughters iPhone 6 battery replaced under the Apple battery replacement program. Employee named Susan greeted us. I could tell from the get go by her attitude this wasnt gong to be easy. She explained it was taking 3 weeks to get batteries in and that we would have to drop off the phone for 24-48 hrs once the battery arrived. Just not very friendly in the way she described the process and seemed to want to put up barriers the whole way. She said even after new battery is installed dont expect it to be like the original. She suggested I pass my phone down to my daughter and then I just upgrade my phone. I told her I had an Android phone. She then had some snarky comments about Android phones have same issues, etc. etc. Anyway, we agreed we wanted to go ahead with the battery replacement and said the 3 week wait was no problem since the phone was still fully functional. She had us sign in on the computer while she went to help another customer. While we were waiting a guy from behind the desk called us up. He said he would have to inspect the phone for any physical damage and check for any liquid damage and then run a diagnostic check on the phone to make sure it qualified for the replacement. Ok no problem. He inspects the phone and says it looks fine and then starts the diagnostic check routine and then heads over to help another customer. About the time the diagnostic check completes Susan comes back over, picks up the phone, looks it over and says there is a small crack in the corner of the phone and there is no way to replace the battery without the entire screen cracking so we will have to get that replaced first. The guy that inspected the phone minutes earlier had just told me everything looked good. And oh, by the way she says, youre phone is out of warranty so youll have to pay for the screen replacement. At that point I was so put out by her I just took the phone back, said Have a nice day and we left. The very next day I gave the phone to my wife to take in and try again. Susan was not there. My wife had no problems. They explained the same process to her (3 week wait and leave the phone for a day or 2 once the battery comes in). But she said they were not rude in how they explained it. Did the inspection and ran the diagnostic again and ordered the battery. Done! So really I guess my beef is just with Susan. So my recommendation would be to make sure you get someone else to help you if you go.
Third visit. Extraordinary wait each time. Practically ignored. Dropped Mac off, and after not hearing from them for four days, I called. This is when they informed me they do not do what they said they did when I dropped it off. This caused me and inconvenience and disadvantage to my time. It is this which prompted this review. Ill not be back. Best buy believe it or not is just as adequate, and with Amazon Prime, these guys are a waste of time.
After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.
Just like its name. Simply!!great service, knowledgeable staff and prompt service. And their service charges are very reasonable where you dont have to go shop around.
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. They said that it would take them almost 1400 to fix my computer, which I was able to repair at half the cost by sending it to apple without apple care. They dont try to be helpful and give you false information.
Very knowledgeable people who are willing to take the time to explain the issues you might have with the iPhone I have. Would recommend there store / service to everyone.
If zero stars was a possibility Id give them that. I was only in the store for less than five minutes and experienced the worst customer service ever. I had an appointment set up with them after speaking to an Apple customer service representative about a speaker issue I was having. When I walked in, the employee in charge of my case didnt seem too interested in hearing what was wrong with my phone and simply plugged it in to run a diagnostic test. Once that was completed, he told me there was nothing wrong with my phone. When I told him there was a low grade static sound coming out of it, he rolled his eyes, put the speaker against his ear and said he couldnt hear anything. So I attempted to explain that it was very soft and the store was a bit noisy and maybe that was why he was having trouble hearing, so he obnoxiously handed to phone over to a co-worker and asked him if he could hear noises coming out of my phone. The co-worker chuckled and replied no. I quickly realized they werent going to attempt to help me so I left and drove to my service provider. I then explained my issue to the Verizon employee and he actually made the effort of attempting to hear the sound I was referring too and agreed that he could hear it. He then apologized for the misogynistic behavior I had just endured at the Simply Mac store and offered to have my phone replaced. He then explained to me that it was in fact a defective phone issue and a new one would be over nighted to me. I have no plans of ever returning to this location, Id rather make the two hour drive to Dallas, TX than have to deal with their rude employees again.
Ive always received excellent service at this store. I particularly like the lessons, although I do wish I could go in weekly for one. :) It takes me more than once to learn something about phones! They are very good about refreshing my memory though. I am on wait with Apple Support right now, however, when I thought I was calling the store. :( I did put all my pictures on my computer, but now I need to know what to do...
Had an issue with my iPhone 6s and AT&T wouldnt help at all. It was still under warranty and I was hoping to avoid warranty exchange all together...which I did thanks to a couple guys at Simply Mac in Tyler, TX. Come to find out, my phone wouldnt charge because the charging port was clogged with pocket lint, lol. They identified and fixed the issue immediately and didnt ask for a single penny. I was pleased with their help. Thanks guys!
These guys made my experience simply great! Had a bad battery, Apple offered a free repair but being that this is a third party store, there was still a charge. Yes that can be quite frustrating but the guys came up with a solution to help and Apple took care of the rest. Thanks for getting my phone back to 100 %, literally, and for the compromise to make my experience great!
Overpriced. Charged me almost $700 just to fix my Macbook Pro screen. Better off go to Apple store in Dallas to save your money.
The staff at Simply Mac were able to get my older macbook pro up and running in less than an hour when another repair place told me I was going to have to retire it. They saved me so much money and headaches!!! Simply Mac is my go-to place from now on
Ashley provided outstanding information on products we were interested in. Her knowledge about comparisons of products was impressive. Likely to recommend.
I was greeted by a very polite and knowledgeable young man, He was extremely helpful and explained every step that would be taken to replace the battery in my iPhone 6. I was treated like a valued customer and will recommend this business
Ordered a replacement battery in Feb. Have called several times in the last 5 months and was told the battery hadnt come in yet but they would let us know. Called today and was told the agreement with Apple was cancelled in Feb and we wouldnt be receiving the battery. Why didnt they tell us that the several times we contacted them. Will not be going back
You’re better off going to the Apple store in Dallas or mailing your device in to Apple through mail. It will save you time & money! This place is OVERPRICED!😂😂😂
I need a battery for my iPhone and I called and left a message 2 months ago, no call back. I went into the store that same week and was told they dont have access to their voice mails. WHAT?? They took my # and told me they would call when they got the batteries in. I waited a month and made an appointment on Apples website and went in at my appointment time and was told I needed to call them for appointments b/c the Apple system and their system wasnt working together yet and they didnt have batteries still and they would call me back when they got them in. I said I tried that 5 weeks ago. I wish there was another options in the area to help with this other than going to Dallas or mailing in my phone.
Went in last night & got the scoop on the apple all in one. Nathan was a superb help in answering my questions since Ive never owned a Mac. I am little Leary after reading so many negative reviews though as I appreciate the time it takes to write a review. Well see what happens...
The employee was very educational answering all questions making sure you understood what they was telling you, thank Simple Mac
Everyone that works here is friendly and very helpful. Will come back here anytime I need help.
The best people ever. So nice. Would encourage anyone to go in & use their services.
My husband & I had a great experience at this store. Nathan answered all of our questions and we had a lot of them! This is now our go-to store.
Simply Mac is a complete waste of time. To give insight, they are owned by GameStop, which is a dying and almost dead business themselves because of the lack of care given. This follows suit to Simply Mac as well. No one here ever answers the phone, even when Apple themselves are trying to get in touch with them. Tried calling them a total of 10 times and never reached an actual person. If you are trying to replace your phone battery, dont even bother setting up an appointment on their website, even though it tells you to. I went in to have it changed for the $30 that Apple is charging for replacement. After putting all the details and info into their website, Im told it will take them 4-6 business days to place the order for the battery, and on top of that there is an install fee they charge (Apple doesnt) bringing my total to nearly $60 which is double what Apple is providing this for. It is really not hard to replace a battery for an iPhone, maybe 3 minutes if you know what you are doing. I personally know many people who have been screwed over by the people who work here and will never do business with them. Take the time to actually go to DFW and get into the Apple stores there.
We have been in this store several times before purchasing a new MacBook air this week. We were always treated courteously and received the help and advice we needed. Due to the staff here, we decided to buy the product at this location rather than ordering it on line.
This place is a JOKE! Ordered a replacement battery for iPhone 6 Plus on feb 12. Said replacement would be here in 2-3 weeks. It’s mar 26 and still no battery. Gave up on them even though I checked back with them after 4 weeks. Paid $20 extra to ER iPhone doctor and they installed replacement battery same day in 30 minutes. Why simply Mac holds your phone for 2-3 days is absurd. Do the work instead of stacking up the phones in valley of death. Cole electronics also had abundance of batteries for $30 more!
Went there to purchase a tool for my Macbook Pro and they wanted to charge me $70 just to open up the computer and clean the fan. Save yourself the time and money and purchase a $10 toolkit online and do it yourself if its something simple. No way they can justify that pricing to an informed customer, so be aware. Its a cash grab.
First Class. Very knowledgeable young people and very polite..Great employees!
Simply Mac was great! Easy to work with and a desire to help their customers.
Phone charger was a month out of the warranty period, I had an issue with it and they replaced it anyway with no questions asked or any kind of lip. Great service and in a timely manner. Thank you guys!
My iphone was locked because i forgot my passcode. They were able to fix it right away. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
They literally never answer the phone. Just go up there, and be prepared to wait and be ignored. But when they get to you at least they are knowledgeable 🙄
The sales person was helpful. The product not so good. Bought a set of Boston Urbanista ear buds. Used them one time then they stopped working. They sounded great just didn’t last. Can’t return them to the store. The only thing I find in their return policy is for an unused set of earbuds not a defective set like the ones I have. Doesn’t look like I have any other recourse, but to just throw away an $80 set of ear buds.
I wouldnt leave it a star if I had the chance. I needed help, called and spent 2 hours on hold, only for the store to close and not answer my phone call. I left two voicemails, and sent an inquiry on their website, with no returns. I drove an hour only to be told they could not work on my Mac computer because it was older. Do not waste your time on their terrible customer service. Mac Centric in Shreveport answered my call and questions the first time.
Prompt service and helped with all of my questions. Friendly. I would recommend them to others.
Great experience. Only needed a charger cord, but the sales associate was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
I was having problems with my MacBook and called Simply Mac. I told them exactly what the problem was and they assured me that it was a simple fix. After driving almost 2 hours to get to their store, I spoke with the manager who then told me they couldnt do anything for me except wipe my Mac for $70!!?? Wasted time and gas. Terrible experience, Ill just go to Apple next time.
Came by after speaking with Apple about options concerning my Iphone X that had stopped working. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. They tested the device and measured the power going to it. Best guess is that the logic board or power jack damaged. Being the device is still under warranty they gave me my options. If I ever have trouble with my Iphone or apple devices in the future i will happy call them first to get their opinion and expert advice.
I went in to get my battery replaced on my I phone 6+ using the battery replacement program from Apple. The guy looked at my phone and said he could not do it because my phone was bent. If my phone was bent it was ever so slightly and I couldn’t even notice it! He said Apple did not allow a third-party store to replace the battery if the phone is bent. That makes no sense! If the phone is bent that was an Apple problem as well! He did not seem to want to help me pass that point at all.Poor Customer Service!
When to purchase a new iphone, was told they could not sell me one. Not sure exactly why. I guess the sales girl did not want to sell anything today. I left and went to the AT&T store. Much better experience at AT&T.
Terrible service. Staff was rude, didn’t seem to care about our service, just wanted us out. If you want them to work on your computer, they WIPE IT COMPLETELY just to diagnose the problem, and if you want your stuff backed up, they charge you $160, plus the additional $70 just for holding your computer. So $230 BEFORE even starting to fix whatever is wrong with your computer. Overpriced and poor service quality. Will not be returning. If you want good service I would advise visiting an actual apple store.
Very good customer service. Service for iPhone was covered. Return time was great.
I dropped my computer off over 10 days ago. I still have not received any information from Simply Mac about even an estimate. This is far over the time in the repair agreement. Very disappointed with service.
I love this store and staff!! Good people, great service and all the best products!
I found the staff to be rude and unprofessional. I don’t think they have the expertise to repair most problems with laptops/notebooks. You may want to consider calling Apple Support to save yourself a diagnostic fee. If out of warranty seek a third party repair store that won’t charge you to troubleshoot. I personally have never been to an Apple store where the employees basically ignore you when you come into the store.
Staff is rude and only cares about getting as much money out of you as they can. I tried to have by battery replaced on my iPhone 6 because if Apples planned obsolesce “battery performance” scheme on the iOS 11 update. My phone is slow as hell so after reading that Apple was trying to compensate for their less than transparent performance slowing update, that you could get a replacement battery for $29. So I go in and try to ask about getting this done and the guy at the counter just pointed to another guy without responding or saying a word to me. He didn’t even look up. So I go to the “other guy” and before he even got my phone in his hand he was trying to tell me that I had put a third party screen on it (which had nothing to do with the battery) and that I didn’t qualify for the deal and it would be $299 to replace it. I don’t have a third party screen, it’s the same damn one it cane with. I tried to tell him this and he cut me off all smug like and more or less called me a liar and again informed me it would be $299 or I could take it up with Apple. Screw this place I wouldn’t go back if Steve Jobs rose from the dead and was handing out free iPhones in person. Honestly I’m about done with Apple altogether. Been a loyal customer for 10+ years and they couldn’t care less.
Very happy I went to Simply Mac. All employees were friendly and very knowledgeable; My problem was explained to me and repairs made while I waited. I felt the price was very reasonable.
Great customer service, friendly, and do a good job with whatever you need help with.
Staff very helpful. Respectful of non-geeks. Courteous and professional. If they cant fix it no one can.
All you can eat ribblit dinner is soooooo good. Great wait staff friendly atmosphere. Will recommend friends and family.
I tried to see if they could help me with a phone issue and they would not even look to see if they could help and just kept trying to have me buy new I took my phone over to geek squad and they said they could not help with their equipment but the equipment at simply mac it should be possible but I couldnt even get them to try at simply mac unless youre there to spend loads of money on new devices they have no interest in helping you
Fast service. Fixed my iPhone In about 15 minutes. Molly was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Very pleasant experience.
Sent over from AT&T store about IPhone problem and was told by Simply Mac Employees it would be $265 to replace my IPhone. Forget that. Took my IPhone home and did a reset on it, and it worked as good as new. Do yourself a favor and save your money.
Excellent service. Would recommend Simy Mac with 5 stars.
Loved it. Got my ipad fixed and at a resonsble price.
The entire experience seemed underhanded. Not once was I given the impression that my issue was of concern to them and not once was my computer even opened up for initial examination. The entire emphasis was on payment to them for services, rather than their desire to fix my issue. My impressions from the visit:1. Simply Mac associates have no concern for good customer care - a concern that is borne out in customer reviews on Google.2. Simply Mac is primarily concerned with sales.3. Simply Mac associates have been drilled to distrust the customer. If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, this experience was so unfulfilling that it doesnt even warrant one star.
Terrible. Took in my husbands iphone that stopped working totally at less than a year old! Simply Mac said Apple would probably have to replace it because he had seen this problem before. Sent to Apple for repair or replacement. We call them and ask for an update no one would ever call us back. They told us different stories every time we were able to talk to someone, which wasn’t often. If we had taken it to an Apple store they either would’ve replaced it immediately or given us a phone to use temporarily and promised it would be back in seven days. Simply Mac did not give us a phone to use nor have we received the phone back and it has been over six weeks! It may be more complicated but definitely do not take your phone to Simply Mac and let them send it off - go to an Apple store somewhere
I took my MacBook Pro in for service and they had it fixed in less than a week. The staff was professional and courteous throughout the entire process. The level of service I received was equal to if not better than what I have experienced at other Apple stores.
I was extremely pleased with both of my experiences with SimplyMac in Tyler. I just had them send my MacbookPro to Apple for repair, and it was simple, very fast, and my computer was completely fixed!
We had forgotten our log in code for ipad. Simply Mac was able to repair in minimum time.
Had an issue with an out of warranty mac. Fortunately it was suffering from a known problem that Apple was willing to cover. Mathew @ the Tyler store helped to verify the problem and get it covered by Apple. Overall a good experience thanks to the work of Mathew.Note: Take pictures of the computer screen if it is having issues because sometimes their tests wont replicate the problem.
Had to take granddaughters iPad to replace screen as it got cracked. People at this shop was very friendly and professional. They explained process and time frame. One week later the iPad was ready.Only thing I could recommand is more staff, although there were no employees line was long. Didnt have to wait but maybe 30 minutes or so. All in all very knowledgeable people and I give them a 5 star. Thanks guys and girls!
Kevin needs to find a new career because customer service is NOT for him!!!I will not be back to this location again if he’s working! Extremely disrespectful! I had a question about switching my hard drive out of my Mac into a new one. He acted as if I was an inconvenience for him to even look at my computer! Then told me serveral times it wasn’t possible and kept saying how I wouldn’t have it today with a compete attitude. then told me a random quote off the top of his head. Why would I pay 150 plus dollars if he’s telling me it wasn’t able to be done.I went to bestbuy and they told me it was possible there was nothing wrong with my hard drive.I asked Kevin when a tech would be available and he said“no techs work it’s obviously the weekend”I was completely fed up with his attitude and said I’d just drive to dallas And figure it out on my own and he was completely fine with it. And said“okay that’s fine”Susan needs to check this employee because you’ve lost my business!!!
