My daughter went there on the day after Memorial Day and the guy at the counter was pressure her on buying extras like the screen saver which applied with bubbles on it...terrible job. I think his name was Mike. We went back today to return the fast charger and take back the screen saver and Micheal that checked her is was so helpful.They can try to pressure people with is bad...lots of older people here and my daughter is not old! Whats up with that!?

Yes...I am grouchy and hard to please...spent over two hours in two visits with Justin...he was knowledgeable...helpful...polite...patient...and solved all the problems I went into the store with....greatly appreciated...and while sitting in the store for that amt of time...observed the other employees dealing with a variety of other customers....they are all very nice....other Verizon stores...take notice!...God Bless

Terrible, do not go here. My husband waited 2 hours to see anyone. We were hoping to upgrade my iPhone 10 XS Max to a iPhone 12. We paid $300 to pay my iPhone 10 off and they only offered $300 towards the new phone, my phone is in perfect condition. We had to go home, Verify with Verizon corporate and they offered $600 to go towards my new phone. Something is obviously very off and we will not be returning.

Most awful experience ever with Verizon at this store. I needed to transfer my information from one phone to another and was told I couldnt get an appointment until next day to have it done. I have been here multiple times before for the same thing and has not taken any more than 30 minutes to finish it. The guy Shawn said it could take 2 hours for it. Why the heck would it take that long to do something like that? Extremely disappointed. Extremely Unaccommodating I got frustrated with the guy and said nevermind. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The agent helping me charged my card before he checked phone compatibility. I was supposed to receive my refund, but it takes 3-5 business days for a certain department to reply and then an additional 3-7 business days for a refund. Yall certainly took my money real quick like, but take forever to return it. Terrible customer service

Verizon, these places are difficult to rate or review, I dont care if its Boost Mobile, Metro PCS,Sprintn or T-Mobile by the way, they have taken over, most of these establishments employ young people who are smartphone savvy, they arent, most of them anyways,dont have the patience and/ or respect when dealing with the older, no so smartphone savvy customer... Tighten up Verizon, I call it like I see it.

This is the best and most professional Verizon wireless store I’ve encountered! I had been having issues with my phone and the representative helping me stopped at nothing to get to the bottom of the issue and ensure my phone was working at 100% before I left. In fact my representative, Jonathan Hodge stayed over 2 hours past his scheduled time to get off work to ensure I received world class service. Jon is the reason I am comfortable staying with Verizon for service! I am thankful for Jon’s dedication to his job and his customers! Keep up the great work.Bryan Pardee

I simply have to comment on my experience at the Verizon store in Venice!!Right from the moment that they took my information, I knew that this would be a different experience than Ive had in the past with a Verizon store. I had the pleasure of dealing with an incredible individual, LARRY, who was professional, knowledgeable and patient. He offered several solutions (including attempting to find a place to fix my phone (I tried and apple wouldnt help me) which I appreciated as he couldve just went for the hard sell. I did end up purchasing a new phone as it was damaged and could not be repaired, BUT I appreciated that Larry was a problem solver and was not simply interested in selling me something. I would whole heartedly recommend this store as they make sure that you leave feeling satisfied that you have an excellent product and one that you know how to use!! Thank-you.

Not happy about yesterday at all. My daughter made an appointment to buy new phones for her grandma and myself. She told them there would be 3 of us. They said okay. Upond arriving there, my daughter walked up to look at them know we were there, they informed her then,only one per household and she had to wear a mask. So, where is it fair that her 68 yrs old disabled grandma had to wait in the heat for over an hour. Where is that fair. Then, after that, my daughter was informed that we had to do all the transfers. That is your job not ours. What do you get paid for?? Im not happy with this at all. Glad it was not raining. Update your web page so ppl know before they go.

Is the second time I come to the store and the workers are extremely rude and non welcoming... and made me feel like I was making them a favor for buying anything on their store which is the completely opposite... never been so mistreated by any other phone company!They also made me wait outside in the hot weather while my boyfriends mom that doesn’t know nothing about technology were inside verifying things with them. Great way to treat the costumers... worst costumer service ever.

Justin was extremely professional and helpful in helping us with our needs. Unfortunately everything he told me was not true. Venice Verizon Store TOTALLY messed up my personal account when dealing with my Business account phone lines, resulting in the cost of my personal account increasing significantly, yet my business account has not decreased in cost. The $40 credit Justin extended me NEVER made it to my bill. AND I am still being charged the extra $200 a month I was being charged IMPROPERLY. We have spent HOURS calling Verizon, driving from out of town to the Venice store, and dealing with this ERROR ON THEIR SIDE for MONTHS now. After well over a decade of being a loyal Verizon customer I am seriously considering moving everything to another carrier. Terrible experience, avoid this store

Do not go to sales rep Jon, he uses shady sales tactics. He showed my wife and I the new bill on his iPad, then turned it back to him for a few minutes while talking to us. We signed, and when I checked the next day to make sure everything was correct he added device protection on every phone despite us declining it. He also swapped our plans around and increased our bill overall by over $120+. Phil is a good guy though, go to Phil not Jon/Jonathon.

Jovan was excellent best Verizon experience in 25 years of Being a Verizon wireless customer. The store is clean and organized. When we arrived there were a fair amount of people, everyone was taken care of in a very expedient way. I can’t describe how wonderful it was to take care of purchasing two new phones without spending a whole day in the store. JovanEven gave me his number to help with the set up of one of the phones. He answered was prompt polite and informative. I can’t express my gratitude enough. I would highly recommend this location if you need Verizon wireless assistance or phones etc.

Came here in April because I lost my phone to order a new one and mergemy account with a family members. They had a store fully staffed with 8 or so employees, and a serious door security guard!He stopped me and my friend before entering and told us only 1 person at a time inside, fine, its covid19.Inside i was told by the staff they werent doing those type of transaction, only emergency support and I need to call Verizon help line to do that.I went to the Englewood location while on hold and before the phone Verizon support answered, the Englewood store had me checked out, setup, and on my way. No door guard, just hand sanitizer.

We had a billing/disconnection issue and Verizon was not helpful, polite, or professional when contacted. We have been with Verizon for yrs and have several pieces of equipment. We drove to the nearest Verizon store and the representative was understanding of our situation. He not only listened but got us in touch with the right customer service personnel. My husband and had the good fortune to have Verizon Solutions Specialist, Jonathan Hodge help us pick out equipment today. Jon was tremendously knowledgeable and really listened to our needs resulting in the best devices for our lifestyle and budget. No hard sales or rushing. Jon put up with literally hours of questions. When we finally settled on equipment, he walked us through the set up. We don’t change devices often so I think we are difficult customers but Jon was super intuitive and found the best solutions for us. He is a high recommend! Ask for him at this location! I don’t live locally, but needed a new phone and went into this location. It was busy but I was promptly greeted and told my expected wait time. Everyone was very friendly and quick to move from person to person (however no one seemed rushed and the customer service and attention was there). When it was my turn, the employee (I wish I had gotten his name, younger man with curly hair in a bun) was super friendly and helpful. I told him what I was looking for, that I wasn’t a tech person and didn’t need anything super fancy, and he was able to help and find me exactly what I needed. He answered every question I had without making me feel dumb, we never felt rushed, and he was kind the entire time. I didn’t feel pushed to buy a bunch of stuff I didn’t need, but I was able to get anything additional I had requested. Although I only worked with one employee directly, i could tell everyone there was pleasant and patient with everyone. Great team and store.

Spoke with John on the phone and he was nothing but rude and sarcastic with me. I was just asking questions and comping prices and I was making sure the price that the lady told me in the store is what he was telling me and all he could say was “WHY would she lie?” Well sir I don’t know, maybe because she wasn’t researching the information and telling me “ummm it will be maybe from $140-$200” like that doesn’t sound too sure and it’s a little expensive compared to last year and he said “well things change” very sarcastically. Will be switching carriers once this is paid off.

I went to exchange a defective charger that I had purchased 2 months ago. Nobody was there to check me in when I got there so I just stood in line behind others that were already being helped at the counter. Apparently none of the reps were able to get anyone out in a timely fashion. Finally someone comes out from the back to check me in. I cannot understand why that check in person couldnt go get a charger for me in the back. About 45 minutes later my name was called. The rep goes in the back and comes out with a charger. For the next 5 or 10 minutes the rep plays with the little tablet to try and do the exchange. Apparently it wasnt working for him. So he finally says, its not allowing me to exchange it because you got a discount when you bought it, and you only had 14 days to return it. I said.. its defective and I have a 1 year warranty on it. He says, no you dont we went back and forth until he walks away to get the manager. So the manager confirms it is a one year warranty... nobody apologizes and the original rep stood there and did absolutely nothing while the manager was helping me. Yes the manager was able to fix the problem.. but it should have been handled way more professionally. The manager should have told the rep to go help someone else since the store was still full. There is no reason that I should have been in the store for over an hour for a charger. If you would like to get that store running correctly I am more than happy to help you!

CONSUMER BEWARE!I am writing this review as a warning to all present and potential customers of the Verizon Wireless store located in Venice, Florida. Last week, I visited the store with a phone-related issue where I was greeted by Phil, Assistant Manager. After I explained the issue, he advised me to return to the store in 2 days in order to enroll in “open enrollment” for Total Mobile Protection. I thanked him for his “help” and left the store. The following day, I received a standard form type of text message from “Michael (?)” who thanked me for visiting the Venice store and encouraged me to return if he could be of any further assistance. Surprisingly, the day after the text and 2 days after my visit, I received 2 emails from Verizon…… 1 email was a thank you for signing up for Total Mobile Protection and the 2nd email was a RECEIPT for my recent transaction. I NEVER authorized this service! The assistant manager went ahead and inappropriately added this service to my account without my knowledge or consent. Immediately after reading the email, I decided to speak to the manager regarding this experience. As is customary in every Verizon store, you are greeted and asked for your phone number. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that there was 1 customer ahead of me, so I sat down and patiently waited, and waited, and waited. I waited for 75 minutes before any Verizon employee even acknowledged my existence or even spoke to me. I got up, walked to a quiet area of the store when I was approached by Phil. I explained my reason for returning to the store. I told him I received a text from an employee named “Michael” …..he responded that it “might” have been him who sent the text (strange). I informed him that I NEVER “signed up” for Total Mobile Protection He told me that you don’t sign up. HUH? OK, I reworded my statement that I NEVER authorized the service. He talked in circles then removed the Total Mobile Protection from my account. Regardless, I intended on still speaking to the manager, Esther. Esther was attentive and helpful and indicated that she was going to address the issue.I have been a Verizon customer for nearly 20 years, have owned many cell phones, visited many Verizon stores in several states and have never had such a poor experience. If you are a customer or have a parent or grandparent who is a Verizon customer, please be sure to carefully read your emails and bills from Verizon to make certain that you are not billed for unauthorized services. As in any company, there might be a few bad seeds trying to take advantage of you. Thankfully, I’m not as dumb as I look!

We brought in a phone that was broken and we were told that it wouldnt be worth the warranty that I pay for every month to get it fixed. I felt pushed into buying a new phone and I was told that I had to put the cover of the phone on myself. That was the first time that ever happened to me when I purchased a new phone. Then I feel like I was basically tricked into buying a warranty for the new phone that I promptly cancelled. I was also told that I could return the phone if I wanted to within 5 days but I would have to pay $50 restocking fee. I know I have been to other Verizon stores where we have been treated much better. I very rarely leave negative reviews, but I do feel compelled in this case.

This is a corporate store. I highly recommend that when you go to get a Verizon phone that you find a corporate store.First of all unlike some Cellular sales places the sales associate named, Ryan an air Force veteran, got me in and out.Second. Their knowledge of the devices that they sell are spot-onThird. I do not know of a better Network in my area Southwest Florida thats better than Verizon.Fourth. I dropped my phone opening the box right after I left the store went back inside distraught and left with a brand new phone. thats the kind of customer service that cannot be beat. Im not saying that Verizon makes a habit of replacing a customers phone when they break it leaving the store but they took good care of me. I will remain a Verizon customer for life.

Hopefully the 3rd time will be a charm. I recently stopped in to look for a phone uprade to something comparable to my current phone. Again, I had a terrible customer service experience. The sales person literally pointed to the back wall and told me that the 3rd phone over was the one that came closest to my Droid Turbo. When asked for specifics, he gave very little information and told me that more phones would be available during their back Friday event and to look at those phones, then walked away to help another customer. Last time I was in this store, I left after watching an employee become impatient and rude with an elderly woman because she did not immediately understand what he was saying. It stinks because this store is literally right down the street from me, but I dont mind driving to Sarasota if needed. Wish me luck.

When they want a new business account they are very friendly, but if they dont set up something right and you have to deal with issues, they start giving you numbers to call. What are you there for? Anyone with an issue about their account is told to call a Verizon #. Anyone buying is welcome. Not the way to do business! I regret switching to Verizon from ATT. If I could rate in the negative, I would. I recently became a Verizon Customer. I opted for a Google Pixel 3 and had problems with service immediately. After a couple weeks my phone completely shut down and the screen had a message reading no operating system detected I brought it in for a replacement which also have me trouble with service and the same problem occurred after a few weeks. I brought it in and the Sim was replaced. The next day I had the sane problem. I work on call, towing for CCSO and FHP and need my phone in order to respond to auto accident scenes.I called Verizon Corporate and requested to have my Google phone replaced with a Samsung. The representative said I was under warranty and if I bring my phone to a corporate store, I can get a Samsung phone and pay the taxes and a restocking fee. I went to the corporate store and despite the notation in the computer about the agreement, it was not honored.i called Corporate back and was told despite my warrantee, I had to pay off the remaining balance of 800.00 on the phone in order to get a better phone.The said they were very sorry when I asked why they were not honoring their agreement which was in black and white in the computer notes.Horrible company. Im going to T-MOBILE. Theyll pay up to 650.00 to buy out your phone if you go to them. I recommend every Verizon customer do this.

Horrible experience. I dont understand why everyone that works in this store cant solve anyones problems. It seems like nobody in this store likes their job. Customer service training is needed.
