WORST CUSTOMER EVER. The store smells terribly!! The employees dont wear a mask. Uncomfortable environment, stale, humid. I made appointment at 5:30PM Fri 11/5. Showed up, checked in an I was told they are not notified of the appointments. Wasted my time, gas, and patience. WHAT A JOKE COMPANY. I wish there is another store in VENICE.!!I will look into VERIZON FOR MY THREE LINE SERVICE. They dont deserve even one star, but I had to do it, otherwise I would have not been allowed to post this review.
I only gave 1 star because there is no option to give 0 stars. I gave Ishmael a 5 star review a month ago, only to find out later that he never set up my simm card on my phone but indicated that he did when I left the Venice store, and gave himself kudos for how great he was. My phone did not work for 2 weeks after I flipped from Verizon to T-Mobile. When I went back to see Ishmael. he was nasty and arrogant, attempting to humiliate me in front of the 20 people waiting in line. I was a Regional Mgr for Motorola Engineering IT Support, so I do have some idea of what happened. After 2 weeks of trying to get assistance both at the store, and on the support line, I walked into the North Port store where Eric helped me get coverage. Ishmael conveniently never told me that my almost new phone may or may not work reliably with T-Mobile, so I had to buy yet another phone, which is compatible. There is still a T-Mobile deal for a free phone (exact phone I paid for) but T-Mobile tells me that deal has expired. I still see the phone listed under their free with the deal phones. All in all, due to my experience, I see T-Mobile as a scammer. Their phone support line is a joke, takes forever on hold, will not escalate a call, will not call you back, and their Venice store needs help, and honest courteous agents. Eric in North Port was great, but I am very disappointed that A) I had to pay for 2 weeks of absolutely no service. B) I had to put up with Ishmaels attitude and rudeness, and was unable to connect at all with his supervisor, Juan, or anyone in a superior position. C) I had to pay for a free phone. D) After repeated attempts to connect to management, no one from T Mobile ever called me back so that I could voice my case to someone who may be able to actually do something. I managed Motorola support in the central and eastern regions, and had managers and supervisors reporting to me, but I would have made that phone call a priority. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE as soon as you have an issue that Ishmael disagrees with. BEWARE!
Absolutely absurd how understaff this place is, will be calling corporate to complain. The manager is amazing in this store it’s unbelievable how hard they are working this young. I appreciate you Ismael.

Went to store to trade in phones last October and received new phones. When they were processing the transaction I asked to see the contract and paperwork and was told they couldn’t print it out. I then asked to view it on the screen was told they couldn’t show it due to COVID restrictions and they were all behind plexiglass but was told nothing changed. I was told I owed tax and $20 activation fees. I was allowed to use the credit card machine but it only showed the amount owed which was correct. We were then told that there was a special promotion and could get free phone covers and screen protectors. They looked pretty cheap and we declined but the salesman insisted “no no they are total free just pick them out. We finally relented and took them. When we got home I went to the website to review the contract. I was shocked to find my signature had been forged on two contracts for insurance and additional equipment. When I talked to t-mobile the canceled the insurance but were reluctant to do anything about the equipment. They said I needed to talk to the store. The store was in Florida were I vacation frequently and I live in South Carolina. I normally go down every couple of months but as a physician all vacations were canceled due to hospital be overwhelmed with COVD. I finally got down in June and went in to discuss it but got no answers. For a company to use a pandemic to take advantage of it’s customers is reprehensible. T-Mobile should be ashamed
Until I got my bill recently, I would have given this store 5 stars! We have been w/Sprint for 2 years (T-Mobile for 19 before that, but cell service in S Venice was terrible, had to switch--point being, we are loyal customers!) and my husband bought me a new iPhone from the Apple Store. I had transferred all pertinent data from my Pixel 2 to my iPhone XR before we went in. There was no wait, and we were serviced with courtesy. Everything worked fine, about 25 min total. ALL GOOD! Then I just looked at my bill online. I have $1 prorated insurance plan for that billing period and $15 charge for the following month for device insurance....ON A DEVICE THAT I DIDNT EVEN BUY FROM THEM, A PLAN THEY DIDNT ASK IF I WANTED, AND A PLAN I SURE AS HECK DID NOT AGREE TO PAY FOR! I know for a fact that the reps get commission for adding device insurance, and that is because the carrier makes money hand over fist on device insurance. But to add it without my knowledge or approval on a device we paid for outright from a different store is pure bamboozling. You can bet I contacted corporate about this unethical action, though Im not at all pleased with the outcome.
I came in looking to get more info on what plans and options were available for my mom. I spoke with David and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all my questions. My mom will be very happy to get her new phone for Christmas!

Aside from waiting 3hrs 15min from start to finish to simply trade in our phones for new iPhones (with hardly anyone else in the store) and watching an older lady come in to cancel her recent purchase get told by a condescending sales rep “So you are canceling because you are confused.”, I’d say this place is top notch [sarcasm]. Perhaps the store was having an “off” night because I see so many good reviews on here, but our experience was poor at best.
We can already see from past reviews why I’m giving this store a 2. I don’t know the gentlemen’s name that helped me FIRST, but he was very nice. Although I will not be returning to this store because of Shawn and his terrible customer service and representation of the store. Not only did I watch him be rude to a previous customer he then proceeds to “help” me by also telling me he “can’t help me”. When I go to another store and needed to call this store he answered and continued to be a rude POS (on a separate day, not knowing which customer he was speaking to) which goes to show he does this to all the customers. It’s obvious this store doesn’t care about its rating.
Great staff. They always help me with technical and billing issues, and help me save money on my phone bill with their advice. Great managers, they really know their stuff.
Still dealing with an issue I had back in October 2019! I will never go back! Going with a different company as soon as my phone is up! Nothing but lies from both store and customer service! They don’t even deserve one star! I have wasted so much money with company! Stay away from this store/sprint all together!!
Sean J. and Michael were AWESOME. Sean was honest and did not steer my wife and I toward more expensive phones when we were clueless. I told him a friend recommended a certain phone, he asked a couple of questions and told me what was best for our needs. He and Michael were very friendly and really helped us also decide on cases and screens etc...Sean reminded us that we have been Sprint customers for over 17 years. Poor customer service were not willing to resolve my issues . Very nice with you to when buying from them but if you have an issue smiles turn upside down. They just not willing to help they will tell you they just selling sprint stuff any issue you have call cooperation office
Everyone is very helpful and guided me to the right device for me. Even though they were busy they got to me timely. They gave me a walk through of my plan and what it included, all in all, Im glad I chose Sprint.
Went in looking to switch from ATT, sat there for an hour and still hadn’t been spoken to. The gentleman working was going as quickly as he could. The girl working however, you would have thought that she was on a vacation. Didn’t seem to be in too big of a hurry, just having a conversation, at times not even doing anything except for talking. Really disappointed, due to my commute and having three kids, it’s extremely difficult for me to get to a store in time before they close. Not a great experience for someone looking to switch from a competitor.
Shane was able to find me the phone I wanted from a different store after just about every where was out of stock and they no longer had any in the warehouse. Really appreciated his help, bc I was pretty set on this one. Lou was cool too, offered some tips on phone repairs. Definitely recommend these guys if youre looking to get a phone or upgrade your current one. Very helpful. Thanks guys!!
I have never been to a store and received slower service. I waited at least 45 minutes while two in store associates chatted with their current customers and were in no way efficient. At one point the associate started mentioning how they don’t sell a certain product and spent 10 minutes explaining how to get it on amazon? Never coming back to this location. It’s a third party store. Trust me- stay away
I was on my lunch break and I was in a real rush to get back to work and the assistant manager Lou Concepcion helped me out tremendously and quickly and was spot on with the prices and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products. He was very quick setting me up and did a tremendous job doing it, I couldn’t of been any happier with my experience.
This strode has taken care of me for 3 years now without fail. I definitely thought my iPhone was broken based on the symptoms. I went in just to initiate an insurance claim. They said hold up and let us see if we can trouble shoot it. 5 minutes later the problem was fixed! Thanks Guys! .

Made appointment on line..was told you didnt do that any more from the rude manager. Always had good service before. Also want my new tablet set up. The helper didnt know how had to do it on line. Very unhappy with service.
For the last three years that I have been with sprint I have been so satisfied with this company. After today I think that I will be canceling my line and going somewhere else because I couldn’t imagine going back into this location for help again. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable around a sales associate as I did today. Never in my life have I ever felt sexualized over picking out a phone case. I believe the associates name was Shane. To any woman: if you plan on coming to the store for any kind of help make sure you try to find another female or atleast a man who can keep his eyes and awkward comments to himself.
I am trying to get someone to call me back about the horrible service I received from Alisandra on 1/24/2020. Because she was too lazy to wait for my phone to transfer everything, I lost over 70 videos. I sent an email, have not received a response. I noticed today that we were charged two activation fees when we only left with one phone, I called this afternoon to get a district managers contact info and they cant give that out. I just sent another email, well see if this will prompt any attention. The entire experience was horrible and I will not go anywhere near this store ever again and plan on canceling with Sprint just as soon as we can get out of our leases. I have attempted to work with Lou, the store manager, and got absolutely NO WHERE. I was complaining about the service for 10 minutes while he was five feet away and he didnt even look up from his phone until I asked if there was a store manager for this location, he owned the position proudly until I noted that Ive been complaining for ten minutes and you havent even walked over here once to see what was going on? Great!
Two of the gentleman working there Antonio and lou were some of the most helpful people that i have ever had to encounter. They absolutely went above and beyond for me and my family. We appreciated there help and there awesome customer service.
Worse experience. This is an independent store and they will help when they are selling to you, but don’t try to return something then they can’t help you. The fact that there is $45 dollar “restocking” fee should be disclosed to customers up front. I tried to return a product that wasn’t working the next day after I bought it! I had to drive 40 minutes to Sarasota to have the corporate owned store help me.
At this sprint store Antonio was the worker helping me out. He was super friendly and had amazing customer service. Id give this store a 10/10 if I could!
We switched 5 lines from Verizon. Paying half the price with the same service, if not better and double the data. The process was painless, the store manager Ashley had us in and out in an hour. Definitely 5 star service, I wouldnt do business anywhere else.
Great experience with great customer care from their manager. Traded my iphone6 in and needed a code to verify an account on my new phone. The manager went above and beyond to get my iphone6 back to obtain the code. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY WELL MANAGED STORE. 10/10 recommend.
My experience with Sprint has been horrible. They have the worse customer service of any mobile carrier I have been with, and I have tried almost all of them. I was lied to from day1. I signed up for a no contract lease option with unlimited everything. I asked multiple times if there would be any early termination fee should I decide to cancel. Each time I asked, the answer was no, this is not a contract. I was also given a discount form by the manager to fill out because my work was listed on the discount program. My form was denied because I was on the unlimited everything program. You would think the manager would know that. Well come to find out later he did know and was just trying to get me out the door with a phone. So I decided I did not want the phone ( the battery did not last very long) or service from them so I take the phone back to the store I got it from and they would not take it back because it was past the 14 day return policy and that I needed to take it to the corporate store. I took it to the corporate store and they would not take it back either and proceeded to tell me that if I cancel then I would be responsible for the remaining balance of the lease. WOW! What happened to no contract and no termination fees? They are liars, all of them. The sad part is that I tried to resolve this with corporate and they refused to help me dissolve these charges. They actually promoted this type of behavior. Go give the manager, Rodney, a big pat on the back for suckering another customer is what became of all of this in the end. Needless to say, I am furious.
I have had Sprint for several years now and Im usually dissatisfied with their customer service. However, this store really stood out to me. I was having trouble with my phone service after the hurricane. I contacted sprint several times to let them know my phone didnt have service within a 10 minute drive from my house but couldnt convince them. When I went into the store the lady there got on the phone with Sprint and argued with them on my behalf. My phone was back up in a few days and I received a credit for the days of service that I missed.
Got new phones and changed my plan. Monthly payment was almost $100 more than I was quoted in store. Clearly someone doesnt know what they are doing.
The young girl wouldnt help an elderly man turn the volumns down on his media and text messages. So when i was done paying my bill. I helped him.. i thought they were there to help. Not leave people wondering...
Ask for Lou, he’s the assistant store manager. He was extremely helpful and took the time to fix all my issues. I went to a Sprint Store in Fort Lauderdale for the same thing a couple weeks ago. There were no other customers in the store at the time and I had to break up an “employee conference” to ask for help. The end result was that it was almost closing time and they told me to go home and call and ask for retention to solve my issues. I resolved to look for another company.I was ready to get rid of Sprint but Lou saved me as a customer. Thank you Lou.
Everytime I go in here the reps tell me to call someone else instead of just helping me in store. The costumer service is terrible unless your buying something new.

I have never encountered a person with such atrocious customer service in my life than I did today. Mariah was the most rude woman I have ever seen. Extremely unhelpful and not even willing to resolve the issue I went in there for. I will never return to this store and will more than likely be switching services.
Only place to get your Sprint phone worked on if you live in the southern portion of Sarasota County is to go up to Northern Sarasota County. The staff is friendly knowledgeable and organized

Went in last night to have a phone swapped on my account. The guy was very unmotivated and offered little to no help. Sent me home saying that all I would have to do is connect to wifi and my phone would start up on the sprint network so I could continue using the phone. That is not the case... Im not with out a phone which I use for work as well as my wife being with out a phone... This is a huge burden. I pay so much money every month for the shirt service I have and sprint cant even provide quality customer service.
