She is a font of knowledge! Heather will email or text (whichever you prefer) when your transfer arrives and if need be will hold it if you are out of town or on a military deployment. Several times she stored ours for two weeks (with no complaints and timely reminders). Great price for FFL transfer. Best price in town, $20 for up to 3 firearms. I used another larger store in VA beach and it was $30 per item and it took them 2 days to get the paper work ready before I could pick it up. Ghost Army called me before the UPS delivery said it was delivered. Great service, definitely will use again.

I ordered some items and had them shipped to GAT not knowing anything about them. Upon entering the store I was greeted and shown the items I had ordered to ensure everything was correct. I was in and out of the store about 30 minutes including waiting for the previous customer to finish conducting business. The only negative thing is having drove past this store numerous times and not conducting business with them until now.

Best gunshop/gunsmith in tidewater.Both superiors and Colonial shooting academy (now freedom) could not get the aftermarket sights on my glock right. I walked in and in 30 seconds there gunsmith recognized that the screw in the sights was the wrong size and fixed it.

Its okay there more hiped up on there website. They seem to focused on there antique online auction and in side action side then there modern sales side good people but just lacking on what modern consumer is looking for on every day needs. Now dont get me wrong they do have some just not a lot.

I have never found a shop quite like this one. Jeremy and his staff legitimately care about their customer and never push crap on you in any way. First off, you arent going to find a bunch of air-soft level quality in this shop and they wouldnt sell it to you if you asked. Their reputation for quality is second to none. It was the only people I trusted for my deployment load out allowance and still use their gear today. They have recently become my FFL of choice too!

Love this store. The people are friendly and eager to help. They not only offer tactical gear in house but they can special order what you need. They also can repair or modify what you have too (visit their sew shack). Its not just military gear either.....they have law enforcement gear too. I came to Ghost Army looking for a new concealed carry holster. The staff was very helpful and even demonstrated several holsters to help me make a decision. Great price and they even offered me a Military discount. I will be stopping in again.

Third time I went there this year and left empty handed and wasted my time. I understand you can not have everything in stock but the last two times I was there I couldnt even get an employee to order my item for me or look up where one can be found. I needed this item for emergency response not just some gear collector. Hopefully it wouldnt happen to anyone else because we need business competition.

I placed an order on March 13th, its June 22nd and I still havent seen the patches I ordered from them. 90% of the times I have called them all I get is an answering machine and leaving a message doesnt seem to do help either. I was told my order should be shipping soon so many times I dont believe them any more. The last time I called they said it would be out last week on Monday, its the following week on Friday and no shipping information and they wont answer their phone or return the call to the message I left. 10/10 RECOMMEND NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. All I want is to see the items I paid for... over 3 months ago...

Great local shop that supports military and law enforcement. I am up here once or twice a week because they always have good deals and their inventory is constantly changing. This is my diamond in the rough shop because their focus is on harder to find or more specialty, high quality items, such as London Bridge Trading, when compared to other surplus stores. If they do not have what you are looking for in the store, they can special order items in reasonable times associated with special or custom items. Jeremy and Heather work with you to get you exactly what they want. Where Ghost Army really shines is in their custom shop. Jeremy is skilled in making custom gear or modifying existing gear. I needed work done on body armor, and Jeremy took time to flush out ideas and go back and forth to find the best solution to my issue. In about a week the modifications were done using the same material used in the armor carrier itself. If you have an idea for custom gear, chances are Jeremy can make it work, and his craftsmanship is excellent. He takes pride in his work, and he doesnt stop until he gets it right and to your liking. He knows that if you are military or law enforcement, that the gear he makes needs to hold up to the rugged use of potential life and death situations, and that mindset translates to every piece of gear he makes for any one. Heather truly cares about making sure youre happy with your experience and she really goes out of her way to make sure you get exactly what you want. I dont know how many times I have been really specific in what I needed and she came through every time. She also likes to talk and get to know the customers, partly I think to better suit the attention to a customers particular needs, but also because she genuinely cares about you as a human. She is very personable and that makes me want to come back. Customers are always greeted with a Hello. I may not walk out every time with something, but its no loss to me because I was treated nicely, had a good time, and know that they will treat me right when I come back. Did FFL transfer for purchase I made online. Helpful and friendly service from Ghost Army Tactical.

I placed an order on the 12th, and on the 20th emailed asking for an update. After getting no response, I filed a PayPal claim on the 23rd and got a rather rude email talking about how it is posted on their website multiple times that it takes up to 20 days for embroidered items. I responded that I would have appreciated a response to my initial email, and the response I got back was that she is overworked and cannot juggle all the tasks at one time. She then goes on to say it is 6:30 there and she is still working.When a business takes my money, I expect them to respond to me and instead Ghost Army Tactical just gives excuses. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of my time.
