First got there,sign on door said be back at 2 p.m. went back after 2,and service was very good.they did not have the game my son wanted out of stock,then they did not have any new controllers so we bout a used one with a one year warranty. Not what we expected,but its all good.

The stores never answers and they need to during these times they really need to answer they phone I am very disappointed about this. And they also should get some air fresheners for there store that smells like feet and c caterpillar pee.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, they were eager and willing to help with gaming questions and opinions even during their busiest time of year. There was a very difficult customer that came in and they still were very professional and handled the situation very well. The staff was not pushy or trying to sell me on anything which I appreciated as well.

Avoid the Gamestop in the mall. Very immature and rude staff. I signed up and paid a $50 deposit for the early release of the PS5. They lied and said I never did. Plus they hung up on me after their smart remarks.

Stock starting to think out

They have nothing to offer,no consoles even though the web site says store pick up only,after a search of there stores with in a 100 mile radius NON of them have consoles of ANY KIND!! Every time I call this GameStop their employees do not answer the phone it is very frustrating I am a person who’s handicap so before i could go and take my nephew to buy him his game, I would like to see if the game is in stock . Super disappointed on staff not answering phone

Todays experience was very good the person that I dealt with was courteous friendly and helpful its more than I can say in the last 2 years Ive had terrible experiences there but if the stats at work today was there every day I will give him five stars

The location on Wolcott Street is absolutely the worst. On Thanksgiving, I purchased the Sony Nintendo online for in store pickup. I called several times on Friday to pick up the item and was advised they hadnt check the 22 online purchases. After the 3rd call at 3:30pm, I was informed by Cesar the item was no longer available. As with myself, I’m sure there were disappointed customers. I will never recommend or purchase (which I have monthly) from this location again.

My family goes there often for games, systems and collectibles. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful no matter what your problem. Great clearance bargains also. Its a great store!

One of the better gamestops in Connecticut. They have a very big store with a good amount of games and a huge collectibles section. Staff is very nice. They have some really cool Fallout 3, 4 and Skyrim statues that are cool to take pictures with!

Prices are high, service is low. Typical GameStop store. There are plenty of better options for games in the area if you dont mind driving.

Dont put something on hold if your a woman. Theyll just sell it on you. Literally put a game on hold,the last on in stock in the area got there in a half hour and they sold it. Im pretty sure to someone who was employed there.

This is one of only two of my favorite local locations to shop at. This Game Stop is anyways clean and tidy. The employees greet you as you walk in and are available if you have any questions. The games selection is incredible. I never have to wait long in line because even when there is one, it moves fast. This location has an amazing selection of collectibles and accessories. This is one of my go to Game Stop locations, the other is the Naugatuck Cross Pointe Plaza location. Wherever you choose to go, DO NOT GO TO THE STORE IN THE MALL!!!

They really need to learn how to do an early release better we got there so early and the girl kept moving the line back we ended up so far back. But, once it started it moved fast.

I always have a great experience here. The employees are very helpful and the woman is very cute. She always has an answer for my son on games hes interested in as well as for myself. Id like to know her name and hell..even take her out on a date some time heheheh. Anyway. I recommend this gamestop to all of my friends who play.

Bruh. Got some terrible TERRIBLE service at the gamestop in the mall so I left and came here. This location rocks.I was literally in and out, got my games and zero harassment.bonus:they actually honored the pro membership pricing. DO NOT GO TO THE GAMESTOP AT THE MALL. This place is right around the corner and way better.

The ast store manger Jamie was extremely rude and unprofessional, I would advise anyone in town to use the mall location when ever possible as this one was sub par

Great gamestop with tremendous selection. Always friendly employees, willing to go out of their way to help.I had been searching for a particular pop figure and some stores wouldnt even bother looking to see if they had it on their shelves (so I wasnt driving far to find it for no reason). The employee at this gamestop (Christine I believe) was more than willing to help me after she helped the people that were in line. I was more than willing to hold, I just was not offered by any other Gamestop.I will definitely be a return customer, as this shop has shown me that they actually want to help people. Thank you!

To much upsell all the little (disc coverage? Memberships that did not grandfather in loyal customers and made it more expensive to keep what you had. As they made it a fancy upgrade. Weak! & this location has the manager who owns the place? Adds updates without asking, and in my opinion wins the (over acting award for all gamestops) JUST MAKE SURE UPSELLS ARE NOT ADDED.

Its GameStop and its not like Waterbury has many options besides that and Game Xchange. Workers are pretty vocal about their opinions and what they recommend, but at the same time they are sales associates. You might get a go for it each time so they can get their sales numbers in power up rewards, warrenty, etc. Most sales associates are required to do this to meet performance requirements to keep their job, so I understand. I never had any bad experiences with them since they took the space from funcoland years ago. They usually have what I come for.
