The games are reasonably priced, some I consider great deals. I only have a problem with the pricing on other peripherals like controllers, I visited the day of this review and saw a broken Playstation 1 controller for $20. The staff is friendly, but whoever is in charge of pricing things needs to make adjustments.

Idk the name of the dude that works here but hes a legend. He buffed my super scratched up copy of Final Fantasy 7 and it worked like it was brand new . And it was free! Also they got a good selection of games for almost every console on the low I been going to this game x change since 2013 and I love it

The Hamden one has a way better selection, this is more a ps2 generation and on store. Not much ds,3ds, vita, or much of a selection, just the games you probaly already own

Love this place! More bang for ur buck and they are reasonable on used game trade ins. They also have cool candies and drinks and some toys. All second hand necessities for ps&Xbox and every other gaming system, at a cheaper price, and brand new if u dont like to take your chances with refurbished electronics. Staff was super nice and helpful. I ONLY go here for my gaming needs 👌😎

Usually the staff is very nice here but today they were disgustingly rude. My boyfriend was trying to sell his PS4 which works perfectly fine but when he brought it in earlier they claim that it wasn’t ejecting properly. I went in with him to see what was the problem because it does work & never gave us an issue. The guy put a game in & it worked fine & ejected fine. But he said he’s not accepting it because the manager. Then the guy threw the game & was being rude. And of course with that rude customer service an argument started and I told them they need better customer service & said they don’t care & they were going to call the cops on us. Highly unnecessary. Terrible experience. They need to learn how to speak to people & treat people.

I recently got rid of an old system and some old video games here. It was a fantastic experience. I think they offer fair prices and excellent customer service. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I did not shop at the store, only sold my old stuff, but the selection Is huge and it seems like they would have anything I ever wanted. I will definitely be back and would recommend checking them out to anyone interested in gaming.

Awesome place to get new and old games, systems and accessories. They sell phones as well. Staff is very polite and helpful. Usually have games available for play and good prices on trade ins. Great place in Waterbury to find old retro games.

The Store its self has great items, good prices, and all over great customer service. But The Women named Ashely who works there is very rude she is not good with customers and Multipule times i call ask a question she will answer then hang up while your speaking. Always something to find at this store to add to a gamers collection. Most games priced within reason (although I think corporate has their head up their *cough cough* upon seeing some retro games prices. Store is usually always neat in appearance and all staff are friendly and helpful ESPECIALLY the manager Ashley. Shes highly knowledgeable about her systems and games and my friends and people Ive referred have never had an unpleasant experience dealing w/ her (must be that time of the month for those other reviewers :P)I wouldnt hesitate to deal w/ this particular Gamexchange or their staff at any point!!

Pretty good deals as long as you aint selling, they will low ball you--on that note though, they may buy at a higher price than GameStop

Honestly my favorite place for gaming, Ive even brought family from Canada and NYC here and they were in wonderland. They have so many retro options like Sega Genesis, a huge collection for N64, and ofcourse all GameBoys. I also would be remiss to not talk about the massive movie collection since it takes up half the store, they have the most classic movies and TV show collections to very obscure movies I was sure people didnt even see.

Least then 5 years ago I was almost kidnapped in here and they didnt notice 2 guys following a little kid, who he didnt come with. We were the only people there.
