Dr.Fabian Villias was awesome, kind, understanding to my needs as a student, and helped me with financial cost for my contacts. It was refreshing to see and experience someone with great knowledge and empathy for his patients. My aunt and I will be going back, I would recommend this doctor to anyone.

Not a good experience, first time I couldn’t read, they told me the quality of lenses it wasn’t the best, I contacted VSP and it was not true. Second try still nothing window for reading very minimum I did mentioned before, they didn’t fixed, my glasses were twisted they try to fixed still not good, they told me to go to another facility to be fix, how come is that. Was a very frustrated experience, since my glasses are part of my life.

I had been a patient for approximately 10 years at the previous location, Eye Associates in Prospect. The now retired doctor I saw was kind, professional, and more than competent. The office staff was courteous. Many things have since changed beyond the location. Specifically, I phoned the new(to me) location in Waterbury requesting a prescription for my contacts which was needed for a reorder online. I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with Sue. Sue failed to identify what role she played within New Insight, however Sue felt very comfortable in belittling my request and suggesting I go elsewhere. That was an extremely unprofessional and unacceptable manner of office staff, of any capacity, to treat their customers. Due to this negative experience neither I or my 3 family members, will be returning to New Insight. I would not recommend New Insight to anyone. On the contrary I will be certain to share my negative experience so that others may also go elsewhere.

I had an incredible experience at New Insight Family Eyecare! From the second you walk in, the staff is very nice and courteous. The doctor was also very thorough and knowleable, he took his time addressing all my needs and answering all my questions. Most places you feel rushed, but not here. I will definitely be back and will be bringing my entire family! They also have a great selection of glasses!

Wonderful eye care office. Superb and very thorough examination with state of the art equipment. Large selection of beautiful eye wear. They really pay attention to detail and are very pleasant and happy to help you. I was Very happy in having Lisa help me pick out something that looked as though it was made just for me.

I have been going to new insights forever... although all the technicians are wonderful, I always ask for Lisa... for her Professionalism, vast knowledge and her ability to help me choose the perfect frame for my small face, she never disappoints!!

Great office! Wide selection of frames. Lisa will take good care of you and help you decide on frames that work well with your face. She also did a great job teaching by son how to put in his contacts. He was a pro at 13 yo.Highly recommend this office.

I have been going to New Insight for many years now. Everyone in the practice is so accommodating. Lisa always helps pick out frames for me that fit the shape of my face perfectly. All the staff is so friendly and willing to take the time with the patients to make sure you have no questions when you leave. I would highly recommend this office.

I was happy from the moment I first walked in the door. I was immediately given hand sanitizer and got my temp taken. They keep a clean container of pens and a dirty container for when youre done with it, taking every covid caution that they can. The staff was very welcoming, nice and helpful. Then what put it over the top was the Dr. himself was just as nice and personable. I hate going to the eye Dr. because Im never comfortable at any of them, therefore I only go once before switching. Im so happy to have found one i can happily continue going to. Great experience, great job New Insight.

Ive had great experiences. Its a new fresh clean environment. The staff is friendly,knowledgeable, patient and very helpful, and the prices are reasonable, too. Ive never had a problem at new insight.

I have been a patient of Dr. Villacis for past few years and was glad to see that he has his own place now. His new office is great and has state of the art equipment. His staff is awesome too. I look forward to continuing my care with him at his new office.

Dr. Villacis is an extremely caring and responsive professional. My husband needed emergency care on a Saturday evening and Dr. Villacis responded immediately and even drove from out of town, while juggling his personal life and family responsibilities to see him. Dr. spent the time with my husband to evaluate his eye and injury, he followed up first thing the next day and met us for another emergency visit on Sunday. Emergency eye care is almost impossible to find and I dont know what we would have done if my husband couldnt of been seen as he was in a lot of pain. Outside of emergency care Dr. Villacis is an all around great family eye Dr. He is kind and thorough. We will reccomend him to friends and family and continue to see him for our familys eye care.

Recently I stopped in to make an appointment and was greeted by the same kind and friendly staff as usual (Michelle, Sue, Lori and Patti). Thankfully they were able to to see me that day for my routine eye exam. I received the same expert care by Dr. Fabian Villacis as in the past. Lisa aIways helps me pick out the best fitting frames which are always fashionable with quality lenses. I plan to continue with my eye care needs for many years to come at New Insight. Excellent care! State of the art equipment which allowed me to avoid the annoyance of being dilated. Dr. Germain is thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. The office staff was as equally amazing. Overall great experience.

I used to see Dr. Villacis at his previous office. When I found out he left the practice, I was determined to find him. My daughter and I recently saw Dr. Villacis in his new office. He is great and the office staff was so nice! Everybody was so patient with my daughter while she was trying to learn how to put contacts in. I would definitely recommend New Insight Family Eyecare!
