Ive been coming to this location for oil changes and state inspections for about two years and have always gotten great service! Tam always greets me out front with a friendly smile, and is professional and courteous. Hes my favorite, and the reason I keep coming back. The lobby is always clean and smells nice. The staff at the counter are always helpful and kind. The service is great-quick, easy and fair price. I never feel like I am being upsold. Today I dropped my car off for an inspection and oil change and wasnt gone even an hour before they called to let me know it was ready! I had mentioned to Tam a sound my car was making, and they let me know at the counter that I needed to have my wheel bearings checked. I am so grateful they did, because when I went to have them checked, sure enough I needed one replaced, and was educated on the dangers of driving with a bad wheel bearing! Thank you Waxahachie Kwik Kar for taking such great care of me and my car!

They take advantage of you if you don’t know what your doing I got taxed $50 for an oil change when the last time I came here it was $25. Hell if wanted to pay that I would’ve went to the dealership. My fault for not saying anything but I was desperate for an oil change. They could’ve had a returning customer but I’ll just go somewhere else now.

Called the day prior to ask on P/S flushSaid no issue to come in Sat at 8 and the earlier the better. Sat in vehicle and the guy struggled with the machine. Finally told me the machine had issue and they trying to fix the suction to get all the cleaner out. Another tech said Harbor freight pump is the fix. I’m not paying for back yard service. I could have pumped it out abs added fluid. They are lost here. Allot of people walking around but not allot seems to be getting done. Very disappointed. I get it things happen but this is the core business for a business like this and being prepared is imperativeTech was nice and apologeticNo confidence that all the cleaner was fully removed and truly all new fluid.I would not recommend this place at this point until they get infrastructure proper

Went for a routine oil change. When I got home oil leaking out everywhere. Called the manager and had to bring truck back up there. They fixed a gasket which was the problem. Now have several large oil stains on my driveway. Very frustrating. Will not use again.

I have the monthly pass and love it. I can go as many times as I want to. Free vacuum!!!

I went to these guys today. Wanted an oil change & tune up. They checked my battery, refilled my antifreeze & washed my windows at no charge. Then after the diagnosis told me everything looked fine and I didnt need a tune up, just the oil change.I trust these guys.

Went to get inspection. They lost our keys, turns out the keys were left in someone elses car. 2 and half hours later finally can drive away, but they only offered 15 dollars off a oil change for giving someone else my car keys!?!? Ridiculous.

Cutting their wiper fluid with water, cracked my reservoir after the freeze. Employee told me they cut it thin and Manger said thats not true. But have records of only taking my company vehicle to this location. What else are they thinning out???

Saturday morning and business was booming. I pulled up to the first service bay and lined up. Within ninety seconds, I was greeted by an employee who was engaged and friendly. I asked for an oil change and went inside to the lobby area. The manager was inside talking with customers and seemed happy to be there. The owner was clearly visible and was in and out of the bays ensuring things were running smoothly. The oil change was completed in roughly 25 minutes. I highly recommend Waxahachie Kwik Car Lube. On this day, I found them to be professional, competent, organized, and friendly. I will be back.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!! We took my daughters car in for servicing. There were several issues with it but the most important to us was that her brakes were squeaking - loudly! I was not looking forward to the news of having to replace not only the pads but the drums as well. We also thought it might need a tune up. They looked her car over and called us to give us the news. Here is what we were told, the brake drums and pads are in good shape. It looks like there is a lot of dust on the pads so we will clean them up and that should take care of the squeaking. They also found a minor issue that they were able to fix instead of having to do a tune up. WOW! Now, they could have told us we needed new pads and drums and we would not have known the difference but they didnt. They chose to be HONEST over gaining a bigger profit! Their integrity combined with their down right friendliness has gained them a customer for life! Thank you!

I’m one of those people who try and avoid an oil change as long as possible until I start feeling guilty about my car because I don’t trust just anyone messing around under my cars hood. I went in on a Saturday morning around 9am and they had 5 cars in front of me. I was greeted promptly and told the lady who got my information that I had synthetic oil put in my car. I wasn’t sure why it was changed to synthetic but she let me know I didn’t need that and just needed high mileage oil. She saved me money and was super helpful with that information. I’ll deff be coming back with my other car.

Mechanics and inspectors are inexperienced techs dealing with your vehicle. Breaking parts without saying anything to customer and argue with you to stop from taking responsibility. Owner is ni better he plots and scheme to come out without liability for the damages. We check other things after service there no windshield wiper fluid or water in car. Horrible!

This is where I always go for oil changes, inspections, or anything else I need for my vehicle. Every time, I come away amazed at how friendly, generous, and helpful they are. I always come away cheaper than I planned and with a smile on my face. Today I went in for my inspection and to have them look at a wiper-fluid issue I was having. Bad news is that I need to get a replacement part from the dealer because it isnt exactly a standard part Kwik Kar carries. They told me when I get my hands on the part, dont worry about paying the dealership an arm and a leg for labor... just bring the part in to Kwik Kar and theyd install it for free. Every time I come in, its a story like this. Great people. I never see myself bringing my car anywhere else, because they always take care of me without hesitation.

Fast and friendly service! They always go above and beyond even when they are busy. A sweet technician even came in to the waiting room to give my daughter a keychain flashlight to play with while we were waiting!

Excellent service here. Its like stepping back in time to when people cared about there jobs and do more than the minimum. I came in for an oil change but they checked the air in all my tires, checked all my lights and blinkers, cleaned my windshield and even checked my air filter and offered me a new one for next to nothing. Im very pleased with their service.

I LOVE this place! Love it!!!They are so helpful, honest and reasonably priced! I never write reviews but I just feel compelled to because it’s so great here!They have the little playroom in the back for my little kiddos! They always turn on a kids movie back there when they see us coming! The mechanic will give my little boys flashlight keychains and they just go out of their way to help us out!!!I would never go anywhere else!Good, honest people!!!!!

I have taken my truck car and bike here to have normal maintenance done as well as all three getting state inspectionsI took a new car in to get all fluids changed and they told me they where all good and reset the oil life monitor. Come here all the time for routine oil change. Always quick service, friendly staff, and the owner always introduces himself personally. Theres complimentary K-cup coffee and bottled water. And the TV always has something interesting on (HGTV, Food Network type shows). Great local place!

(First off: I recommend Hawk Auto Care in Red Oak. Just a few miles from this Kwik Kar.) I asked for just an oil change . They did a full service oil change, by default. Then charged me $50. I was in a hurry and had some other place to be so I didnt contest it. Looking back I wish I had because for some reason one of the bigger guys that work there was suddenly standing in the back part of the checkout counter eyeballing me while I paid. I didnt think much of it in the moment, but looking back I fully believe it was an intimidation attempt in case I did protest the price of the service I did not ask for. My mind was elsewhere at the time and I needed to leave. *I admit I could be wrong about the intimidation. Doing services I didnt ask for and charging me $50 for them is unacceptable. I work very hard for my money. I wont be back. If it takes $50 to show me how this business is run then I got my moneys worth out of that lesson.*Response from the owner 38 minutes agoAaron,Thank you for your comments. This is John and I am the owner so I will try to help explain how we complete full service oil changes, etc.First, our full service oil changes include the oil and filter being changed, front carpet area vacuumed, tires aired up, exterior windows washed, all fluids checked/topped off, battery checked, air filter checked and cabin filter checked (if applicable). Between each oil change (here), we offer free top offs on the fluids, battery checked and tires aired up all at no cost. Yes, its a different approach but we also offer a spill & fill where we will change your oil and oil filter only but a big majority of our customers opt for the full serve oil change. If you would like the less expensive option, thats all you would need to do is tell us when you speak with the person that greets you.In regards to the bigger guy, Elvis has been with us for over 4 years and is one of our best employees. He (like everyone else) is instucted to be very polite to any and all our customers. He actually was waiting to get a piece of candy out of the candy dish on the counter and was simply being polite until you or any other customer had been checked out. Plus I tell our employees to get in to the air conditioning when possible especially when its over 100 degrees in our shop and lower bays. If you go back and review our other Google reviews, I believe you will see our honesty and integrity with our customers . I am here 99% of the time and never once have we intimidated our customers, we dont need to or I would make the necessary changes. Our customers come back to us as they know we do not do business in that manner and I am sorry you felt he was there for that reason. As I explained above, he was there for other reasons. We respect both our customers and employees equally and in the future I would like to reach out to you personally to stop in and discuss any issues with me.Thanks for responding, John. So now if you know the name of the guy (Elvis) standing there, and that he wanted candy, then it sounds like you are able to pinpoint the exact time of my transaction. Thats better than listing everything included in your old changes. Theyre on my bill. I know what they are. Dont tell me how great you are. Show me by making it right and charging me for a basic old change. Im waiting for your response.

Quick and professional service

Another auto repair shop told me to bring in my car where they would diagnose and repair it. They said it would take a couple of days. But then I saw Kwik Kar in Waxahachie and drove in. They serviced me right away, repaired the problem with my car, and did an oil change all at a good price and under and hour and a half! I was amazed at the quality of work they did, how friendly the employees were (in the garage and at customer service), and how great the communication was. I later received a coupon in the mail and a thank you card. I will now be taking my car there from now on.Great work guys!

This is the only place I will bring my cars! I brought in my car one day because of my brakes. They checked them and instead of trying to charge me a bunch of money to try to fix them they said to take it to the dealership and see if there is a recall. I did and sure enough there was a recall and I got it fixed free. They are always super friendly and never try to pressure you into anything. They are honest and always do a great job! You guys did a great job, however I dont appreciate the snide remark from the owner just because I said I dont leave my keys in my truck no matter where I am at and when I said that, the owner looks at my 94 Chevy Silverado and said huh, what are you worried about, I have Mercedes parked here all weekend, like someone would steal that! Hey give me a break will you? That truck, I bought brand new and its my 2nd driver and my new Silverado is in my garage. What really got me realizing this dude doesnt know anything about cars or trucks for that matter is when I asked this owner if he did mechanical work there, Me, hey can you all replace my power steering pump lines on my truck? Him, well I dont think they make them anymore because its so old, you may have to go down to Petes and have them make them at that point I realized, either you were trying to be a smart ass or just plain ignorant! You can buy any part you need for a 5.7 Chevy anywhere! One of the most common and sought after motors. If you were a true Mechanic Car Guru type of guy, you would know this. You would also know something about Chevys! And, since anyone can buy into the Kwik Kar franchise and open up shop, I guess even the non knowledgeable about cars can as well. Maybe I should open me up a Kwik Kar, at least I would know something about cars and trucks and not tell a customer, oh, its so old I dont know if they make them anymore! Have a nice day.
