Worst dealership in Texas. Dont even think of buying a car here. They have the bait and switch down to a science. I just bought a car here and used their so called finance department - always the last step in buying a car.They tried to slip in a warranty that they said was required by the lender. Finally admitted it wasnt. But they kept it on my contract! Didnt notice it till I got home. Charging me ab extra$1,500.00!It gets worse. I just called the loan company. They have the principal balance at almost double what I agreed to!Cant get a call back FROM ANYONE there! Next step is a lawyer.Dont be fooled by these nice guys. They are NIT NICE.

Immensely satisfied with Allan Cihlar’s patience, attentiveness, and overall service. He truly is the best- Although I have not met him personally because I work all day everyday, he worked with me over the phone and through text messages for the past 2 days. He diligently responded to all of my questions and concerns with no pressure at all. He went far above and beyond what anyone would ever expect. Allan has been nothing short of extremely professional and responsive. This was my first car purchase and I actually got a great deal on the car that I’d fell in love with and wanted. The car arrived today here at my job and it looks fantastic, I absolutely LOVE IT!!! A friend of mine referred me to him (my friend is a little difficult customer to deal with) so for her to refer me to someone must mean they’re exceptional at what they do. Had an appointment for an oil change. Arrived a little bit early and was tended to right away. Chris was very courteous and thorough. Informed me of various coupons for service I could redeem and I was in and out in less than an hour.
I have to say this place has stepped up on their service. I was here for the first time back in November 2020. Unlike my last visit where I had to wait 2 hours for my oil change and tire rotation with an appointment, this time I was in and out in an hour. I have to say they were very welcoming and friendly. There was only one problem and I didn’t notice until I got home. They had forgotten to reset my service notification so I had drive back. I want to thank Christopher Branch for all his help and putting gas in my car since I had to drive all the way back. I have to say I can see they are working hard to deliver great service!! I will continue to bring my VW Atlas for its maintenance here.
We went to Russell and smith Mazda first and had THE WORST experience. We came to DeMontrond in Webster and had THE BEST experience!! Mirza Ali Beg and Ak are the absolute best to work with! They are so caring and truly care about their customers. They went above and beyond for us for me to be able to get my new car!! I HIGHLY recommend coming here and getting the best deal and service!!!
Short story : Only transparent and fair pricing Mazda dealership I found in the Houston area. Friendly and no BS experience. Juan and AK were friendly, helpful and great. Only dealership whose pricing and lease payments matched TrueCar. I leased a Mazda Cx5 grand touring.Long story: Looking for a car during a supply shortage =nightmare. I was looking to lease since I work from home but when inquiring about leasing options I kept being told I needed to come into the dealership or would recieve astronomical quotes after not being able to come in. One Mazda dealership off of 610 had the nerve to tell me any lease calculator I used would not work and didnt want me to leave with a written copy of the ridiculous quote they had given me. Juan and AK gave me a direct and fair lease quote with an explanation over the phone and even walked me through plugging in the numbers in a lease calculator. Juan was super responsive and AK was patient with my all my questions. I was able to apply for financing and place a deposit all from home. The drive from inside the loop to clear lake was worth it.
My family and I were coming back from the beach and we blew a tire. The first place we could get our minivan too was Demontrond Mazda. The service shop was already closed and our tow truck was two hours away. With four small kids and 100 degree heat, stressed out was an understatement! Kelly (The GM) saw our dilemma and offered to change our tire for us. Kelly got us over to Austin (Service Manager) and Austin was equally as accommodating. They reopened their service waiting room were we could cool off while we waited. I was not a customer, only someone in a bind that needed help. They could of saw our plight and done nothing, but instead they went about and beyond to help! I can only imagine the care and service they provide their actual customers!! If you have taken enough time to read this entire post, do yourself a favor and go over to Demontrond and buy your next vehicle ! I know thats where Im going when I need a car.

I tried to finance a Mazda CX-9 from this dealer before I started the process, I tell the sells man to run my credit one time and they said don’t worry and we got you then they run it 5 time not mention, I make 6000 $ a month, so there is no reason to go throw this. However I’m not blaming the sales man but I blame the The Egyptian sneak who are responsible for the Financial loans, I don’t remember his name exactly, he is not hornist at all and very terrible person with a fake smile because he was look at me and laugh with his friend in the office so basically he make a joke of me because I was complaining about running my credit 5 time . I wish this person disappear from this great dealer. the other employees are friendly and great even the prices very Reasonable
James helped us with a check engine light issue when we were on a road trip to Houston. They took our request without reservation and figured out the issue and most importantly, they fixed it without any charge (small issue but caused by my own accessories so technically not under warranty). Much appreciated and we were able to continue our trip without any hiccups!
If you need anything from the service department I highly recommend Chris. The man is fantastic at his job.
This rating will be confusing at first. The salesman and price of my CX-5 were great! Very pleased with the initial experience, but when I went in to finance is were the lying started. My financing was already setup through my credit union and when I went in to sign the final paperwork the guy starts with the extended warranty, maintenance plan, etc....well I did take the Mazda extended warranty and had planned on getting a factory Mazda warranty anyway, but than he pushed the maintenance plan telling me it covered anything in the owners recommended service....I point blank asked him if it covered any recommended service in the owners manual and he replied yes on time or mileage! Well, long story short. Took the vehicle in for its first recommended service appointment and they tell me it only covers oil changes! I can not stand to be lied too, I spoke with the manager at the dealership and they pull the old sorry you were mislead or misunderstood the package but basically let it at that. Now the service manager talked to me and said he would cover the cabin air filter on my next visit and I do appreciate that, but the point is I dont think this is their first time pulling this stunt. So buyer beware!

To include a cashier’s check.They refused the use of USAA financing.I was blown away and asked multiple times if I could use a cashier’s check from NFCU and was told they would not accept any form of payment from NFCU or USAA the two largest military banks in this country…
I bought a used car as is from DeMontrond Mazda, thinking the many positive reviews were an indication of its integrity. Just 10 days after my purchase, the check engine light came on. There were major engine problems that cost almost half of what I had just paid to buy the car! The sales manager claimed they did not know about the problems and hide them from me when I bought the car. All of the people I spoke to at DeMontrond Mazda said that cars just break sometimes. Coincidental timing? Could they have not known about such extensive problems? My mechanic doesn’t think so. You can decide if doing business with them is worth the risk to you. As for me, this costly lesson has taught me to never do business with DeMontrond Mazda again.The only person who seemed to care about our situation at all was the general manager, Mr. Stewart, but in the end even he did not do what he said he would do, and he stopped returning my calls and emails. The sales director Mr. Khalil was particularly uncaring.

The sales person was great.ive hade my car for 6 months and out of the 6months ive had to put my car in the shop 3 times and the shop gives me the run around and this last time my car been in the shop going on two weeks and was told that they didnt have a loner to give me so ive been without a car going on two weeks. I encourage anyone that buys a car from them to get a full expection on it before driving off.
Today I stopped by to check out a Mazda C9. The guy that helped me I believe might of even the manager. Which makes this experience that much worse. I have worked in retail/sales for 16 yrs as district manager I am well aware of customer experience. This man didn’t even want to turn on the car on for me to see it in full detail. Overall felt like I was a bother and he was doing me a favor. Going to spend minimal 43k today and I was ultimately a bother. I have been a Toyota customer for over 18 yrs. I came here because of a friends referral. If this was a sign to stick to where I am valued I’ll take it. But know what your purpose is and if selling your cars is not your objective. Stay home or find something else to do.Best Regards.

Purchased a van from here on 03/16/2021. By 05/15/2021 I had to get my mechanic to replace an axel shaft. We then discovered that the transmission fluid was black, should be reddish. They refuse to repair or even offer any type of compensation. The sales guy was great and tried to get us help but it was totally not worth it. I WILL NEVER suggest this place or any of its affiliates. I am an insurance agent so we talk to many people about cars.
Josue was awesome! He was extremely patient with me, a first time car buyer, but also with my parents. They are definitely not the easiest people to work with so I am very glad I was able to purchase my first car here. Josue took the time to explain key functions for the car I wanted and adapted to my needs. Although daunting at first, the process was pretty simple. If youre in the market for a mazda and/or have never really thought of purchasing a mazda like I was, I highly recommend stopping by the dealership and speaking with Josue. They even made an effort to contact me after purchasing my vehicle to make sure everything was going smoothly which I appreciated!
Bought a CX5 five years ago. Great car. Took it in today for 40k service. Excellent service from Chris. When I made the appt was told a loaner was not likely. But happily, Chris fixed me up!
I dont feel like its fair to base a review of an entire dealership by the performance of 1 salesman so I gave it 3 stars instead of just 1. It started out ok with what seemed like a motivated salesperson but when he found out we werent going to buy today (planning to buy in a few weeks but wanted to do research today) he immediately changed his attitude to almost huffy when we asked to just sit in another vehicle. It was most unpleasant.
The people in the maintenance department. Are very nice and helpful.
We purchased a pre-owned vehicle from the dealership and everything seemed fine until the engine cover was missing. They put it on the “we owe you list” a few weeks later they called me to pick it up and when I did the piece was used and missing parts. This made it unable to install and all a sudden the salesman stopped responding to my messages. I called the sales manager and told him the issue and he said he would look into it. Two weeks later and I have not heard anything from them. Also they provided me a temporary tag that is about to expire and I have not heard a word about this. They have nice cars and seem friendly until you purchase a car from them.
It’s been about 10 months since me and my sister purchased two Mazda CX-5s. This was our first time buying a brand new car so we were a bit nervous. But with the help of Marco, he made this experience so easy. He was patient, polite, fast, and made sure all of our questions were answered. When I went on the lot, I must have been unattractive, I had to go inside and ask for someone too assist me in buying a Mazda. That will be the last time I go to this Mazda dealership. The sales guy gives me the keys and says test drive the vehicle alone, that was a bad sign. The car sales person does end up riding with me and we get lost trying to get back to the dealership. Then the sales person tells me that a Certified Used Mazda will be much higher than a new car and that the light fabric seats are a great buy. This was just discouraging for the purchase of any vehicle.
I had a great experience when purchasing my car about 3 weeks ago. Marco went above and beyond to help me get what I wanted. Even after my purchase, Marco helped me with some minor details needed on my car. John and the other gentlemen at the service department did an excellent job on my car. Went to dealer for AC work. Johnaton helped me. A problem was found I was not happy with. He spoke to his superior Austin. Who personally corrected it right away. Prices are higher than all other Mazda dealerships. $500.00 for navigation and Sirius is not true. I found the same fully loaded Mazda CX-30 at Jeff Haas Mazda for way less with lifetime oil changes and all vehicle repairs and so much more.In my opinion DeMontrond Mazada in Clearlake is not giving good deals, the cost is higher.
My salesman, KR was very efficient and easy to work with. Apparently there were only 3 Mazda3’s in the state of Tx matching my specifications and he found one and had it driven down from 100 miles away all in the same day!He communicated with me along the way (via text mainly since that was my preferred method). When I arrived to the dealership he greeted us at the door, offered water and made us feel very comfortable. He had the car outside already detailed and ready to go!The gas tank was on empty but service ppl gone so he reimbursed me via PayPal for my tank of gas. He was patient with me during the whole process (I’m a very IMPATIENT person!), and he just seems like a very kind, no BS person. He is a great salesman and out of all the salesman that I was communicating from different dealerships, he was the one that got the job done and it was really a smooth process. I’m very pleased with my experience! And I love my new car!The sales manager and my husband got in a little quarrel when they told us they would give us half of what we were looking to get for our trade in. But they smoothed it out after the sales manager Alex & the used car salesman explained how the used car business worked. We did not take the offer, we plan to sell to CarMax instead.The car was driven down 100 miles away, there was a small dent on the drivers door that the sales manager later told me they were aware of but no one said anything until it was brought to their attention after my husband noticed it. So I have to come back at a later time to have it repaired so that’s a bummer. I used that error to my advantage and got a HomeLink mirror out of it! They said they will give me a loaner, fill up my gas tank and even deliver the car back to me (since the dealership is 30 miles from my house) when I go back for the repair so it will all work out.As mentioned previously, the gas tank was on empty when I got in the car so I had to get gas at 8:30 pm while it was raining. Luckily, KR reimbursed me via PayPal the same night.The next day my husband checked the tire pressures which were supposed to be 36 psi all the way around but they were all 32, so we will have to fill up the tires as well so that’s a little disappointing.Aside from the dent, the empty gas tank, and low tires the buying experience was overall very good. The dealership is small and quiet which is good for me because I have a bit of social anxiety! I think I may have been the only customer there or at least it felt like it which I enjoyed! Service is great now that DeMomtrond has taken over. Been in Clear Lake for over 20 years and not once did we consider having vehicles serviced at Mazda of Clear Lake. Have been very happy with recent visits.

This dealership is the WORSE. Most inconvenient dealership, very unprofessional. I was here to get a new tire, after waiting 5 hours. They left the same old tire on there. This dealership takes FOREVER to do the simplest thing, and over charge. They also will have you waste your whole day away in their dealership because they don’t know what they are doing. There is no reason every time i get an oil change i wait 6 hours.
This was not a good experience. I found a preowned vehicle from our company’s benefits hub website. I test drove the vehicle, the car fax was clean, the vehicle looked nice and seemed to run fairly well so I purchased the crossover SUV. The financing was done through my own bank. I also did a trade in.The issue comes the next day because I noticed the car swaying while driving and I wasn’t moving the steering wheel. I took the car the next day to my local dealership for a diagnostic and long story short there were critical things wrong with the car that made it unsafe. I call Demontrond Mazda back and forwarded the diagnostic the local dealership performed to show multiple things wrong with the car that totaled over $3k worth of work. I was told that Demontrond Mazda wouldn’t be able to do anything about that and that Texas doesn’t have a Lemon law.I asked how can I can my trade in back as I didn’t want to drive an unsafe car and was told I would receive a call from the manager but that never happened either.My next steps is to talk to corporate and then legal if need be. Very unprofessional and would not recommend or use them again.Update: 4/22/2021I did provide my contact information to the address mentioned but have not heard from anyone.

We went in to view the options and check about trading in my 12 Cruze. We worked with Marco and he was great. Opted to get the 2020 Mx5 RF and it is amazing. Marco and the rest of the staff there were nice, informative and fair with all that we discussed. Since taking it home Marco has also been super prompt at answering my questions and followups for the add-ons we ordered.If their service keeps up like this, well be part of the demontrond family for quite some time.Also, just look at how great this car looks!
We bought a car almost a year ago and our experience was great. Josue Montoya was our salesman. Very thorough, patient and courteous. We highly recommend on that experience alone.Fast forward to this week and we hit a large object in the road on our way to Dallas. We couldn’t remember what coverage we had for Roadside assistance etc and called Josue at 8:30 pm on his cell. Not only did he answer but helped us through the whole process with the help of his managers. In short, the service has just been over the top great. highly, highly recommend this dealership and Josue.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. Allen (salesman) was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Worked out the deal and went to see their finance guy Kareem to do the paperwork. This is where everything went downhill. He said we qualified for a 4th year on the maintenance package and 3 extra months of our finance rate with no mention of costing more throughout the whole process. Great we thought. Too good to be true. When it was all said and done we were charged $1500 for the 4th year and to get the extra months of financing was with a $2500 service contract. We told them we did not agree to that. Kareem said we did. He never brought up any extra cost and we felt misled. Kareem argued with us and said he did not mislead us but did acknowledge that he did not bring up the cost. To say you get something without saying it is going to cost extra and how much IS MISLEADING. If you are going to buy a car here I would double and triple check your contract.
I’ve been coming to this location for the past 3 years for routine maintenance and extensive work to be performed. Previous experiences have been good. But of course when it comes to me spending over $3,000 that’s when all the problems begin.I took my car in to be serviced during the first week of August and spent just over $3,000 on repairs just for me to leave and the check engine light comes on a hour later. Took it back up there and now I have to pay another $2,000. The money isn’t the issue, but the lack of communication from the rep(Johnathan) and the fact that it’s been nearly a month and I’m now told he is bending over backwards. I just wanted my car fixed the first time. Why is it that I’m the one needing to constantly be proactive? I feel the ball has been dropped constantly during this process.Overall, I’m not sure if I will visit this location again. If I do, I will need to be seen by another service advisor or the manager(who seems to be nice and understanding of the frustration).Based on this experience I cant give 5 stars.

He was extremely professional, honest, and all around helpful in my journey of buying a new car. His manager was also very helpful and answered any questions that I had. My last oil change experience was great. Josue is very informative, he recently sold me another car . This guy is awesome . Chris and Austin were very helpful and courteous however stay away from Ahmed Khalil. He is a big liar. Stay away from him and under no circumstances dont believe anything he says. I never got anything what he promised in conversation. The liar will try to up sale any vehicle. If he tries to sale you a car, leave the dealer immediately. Director of lies. The service department has the best staff.
Great customer service! I bought a used Mazda CX-3 from this location back in December and I am so happy that I bought from this dealership. I walked onto the lot and drove away with a car 2 hours later. Kenny helped us through the whole process and was understanding of every requirement we needed. He was not your typical car salesman type. He made me feel heard and genuinely wanted to give me the best options on the car. Even after I bought it he was kind enough to make me a spare key that the previous owner did not return when they traded the vehicle in. If you want a new or used car with little to no hassle come here and if you want a great and relaxed salesman that will be there for you even after you drive off the lot, ask for Kenny.

Give him four out of five stars. Only thing keeping me from giving it five stars was having to be there for five hours which I thought was a little excessive. With that said, everyone I dealt with was good to deal with and would definitely recommend Kenny Froisy to anyone looking for a vehicle! Overall, I would definitely go back! Kenny was great to deal with, talk to you, and tried his best to make the experience pleasant and meaningful. He was kind enough to get the red bow to put on the car for my daughter to try to make it extra special. That’s the guy you want to see!
Pop your hood and take a picture of the engine bay before and after a service; do not leave the service center until those pictures match. On my wifes initial 5K oil change on her 2016.5 CX-5, the engine air filter was dropped into the bottom of the engine bay while the air filter box was clipped back into place. When my wife complained that the car did not sound right the following day, their service rep told her over the phone they would charge her $100 just to look, and that another dealership would charge her more. I cant say for sure whether this was an attempt to drum up some business, but it did feel like they were getting a bit greedy since I ended up purchasing a CX-3 during the oil change. I came in the next day -using a vacation day from work- the service manager had his techs in front of the dealership in a meeting. He apologized profusely and stated that from now on, a dedicated Quality Control technician would be checking before and after the service. They remedied the problem at no charge, I just had to complain about it myself using a vacation day to do so. He seemed sincere and hell have 3 years to prove it on two different Mazdas. Until then, I cant recommend this dealership for service until I see that it wasnt just lip service. These may be the last two vehicles I purchase from them too; Finance guys were pretty helpful though. In the picture, that filter below the SKYACTIV emblem does not belong there. It belongs in a slotted box with two retention clips that you can pop open with your fingers as seen in the second picture.

This was my first car buying experience; I have heard all of the horror stories about how it takes all day dealing with pushy salespeople and is generally a total nightmare. My experience was the opposite! I worked with Mirza; he was very friendly, and he made the process so simple and easy. I knew exactly which car I wanted, so he quickly got me in to test drive and run the numbers. He explained all the features of the car very clearly, and made me feel comfortable with the purchase I was about to make. I was walking out with the keys to my brand new Mazda3 Sport in no time. I only put one star only because I was sold a defective car!!!!! Dealership did not want to help me AT ALL to fix the issue with THE USED CARE THEY SOLD ME and said I had to pay out of pocket for it. We bought a brand new Mazda and thanks to Houston roads 6 days after we bought it we busted a tire and needed a new one.Mind you this car was bought brand new and had 700 miles on it.We brought the car in on a Saturday and was told they had to order the tire but it would be in Monday. I was also quoted 230 for the replacement tire and all the extras they add on. So we left the car there and Monday at 4pm I finally called to ask if the tire came in and I was told they were putting the tire on and would call me back when it was done. At 5 I received a phone call and was told the price was 268. When I questioned the price I was told “191 was for the tire, 24 was for the balancing and putting the tire on, there was also a disposal fee, and Uncle Sam wants his fair share”We get there and notice right off the bat that they didn’t bother cleaning the grease off the tire nor did they put a new valve stem cover on...things that even discount tire would have done without even asking.We pay the bill and then notice that we were charged for an oil change. Why would you change the oil on a brand new car with only 700 miles on it? Especially when it came in for a new tire? And why was that part of the bill left off when I questioned the price at 5pm? And funny enough the extra 30 bucks that the bill magically went up to from Saturday is the exact amount they charge for an oil change....I’ve tried calling the manager and he’s always on the other line, but will return my call shortly....I’m not holding out hope I’ll actually get that phone call. This dealership has already proven that it is perfectly okay with lying so it’s hard to have faith that they will actually call me back to resolve this issue.
Worked a cash deal for a vehicle at the close of the day for $13,500. The next morning they dropped the listing price $663.00 and sold it to another customer who was financing in full. Do not trust this dealership especially if you are out of town.
Bought my car here & had a great experience. Very nice employees, I didn’t feel pressured, and the team seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. If the great experiences continue, my car purchasing from this location will also continue!!

I only have experience with the service team so this is the basis firmly review. I mainly dealt with John Warner and this man did an excellent job taking care of me and my car. I went in to check on a couple of recalls and when I called in to check on the availability of a loaner he said they may not have any but that he will look into it. When I did turn in my vehicle the next day, John and company were able to get me a loaner for the duration. My vehicle was worked on and John had excellent information about my vehicle. He did not try to coerce me into buying more service yet he did let me know all concerns. He and the rest of the service team did an excellent job!

Bought a certified Mazda3 here. Price was decent, car looked great and I didnt have any major issues with my buying experience. The car was listed as certified, but wasnt actually Mazda certified which comes with a short warranty. I had a few issues with the car not long after buying, but couldnt get it fixed under warranty due to it not being Mazda certified. Wish that would have been made clear up front. Car was also sold with tires that were over six years old (older than the car). How did that happen? They also conveniently didnt mention they only had one key until I was signing paperwork. Do your homework with these guys and ask a lot of questions. Dont assume certified means Mazda certified. Go elsewhere if you dont want to have to watch your back.
I found my experience with the service department professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and courteous. However the most important attribute was TRUST! When you can trust the person you are dealing with it makes for a very smooth tranquil experience. I found Austin to be incredibly honest and intelligent in explaining my vehicles issues. He is such a people person! My experience with Troy, Brian, and Austin means I will be a long lasting customer . . . . and believe me when I have a great experience, I tell my friends and family! I was thinking about trading in my mini because of the inconvenience factor and had been wanting a Mazda for years. I was greeted by Marco and we got to trading my car in right away. I ended up with a 2020 Mazda CX-5 touring edition. He explained everything that we needed to know - I would highly recommend this dealership!
I gave 3 stars because I did get a great price on a vehicle I have been very happy with. Also my salesman, Marco, was polite, professional, and made the process simple. Every other interaction was less than pleasant- the finance advisor was very rude, and the sales manager was unprofessional and failed to deliver on all of his “promises”. At the end of the day the important part, a reliable vehicle, is taken care of, but I wouldn’t call this place exceptional.

I purchased a used vehicle from this Mazda dealership. When purchasing as a selling point they said ” lifetime free oil changes as long as you have the vehicle. Well, they discontinued that. When letting me the new policy the service department workers we polite until I closed the door and heard them bad mouthing me because of a previous incident when they stripped my oil pan bolt on the previous service and denied it. I didnt work on my vehicle so I dont understand how it was my fault. It seemed to inconvenience them because of a mistake they made. So I had to pay 300 dollars for an oil change that day. They were talking behind the customers back as if I couldnt hear them behind a glass window. Horrible service, horrible accountability, horrible customer service and I wouldnt think about buying a vehicle here. I havent given any company a bad review or a review at all until clear lake Mazda. Like I said before I didnt work on my vehicle so being a little upset about a mistake on a simple oil change would get anyone upset. It wasnt my fault that my vehicle was messed up and its not like I wanted it to be messed up. Completely rude service department and quite frankly dont know what they are doing. Save yourself a headache and do not go here because they will lie about services you dont need to make a quick buck.
The car buying experience was fine but I was told back in 2017 when I bought my CX-5 that Mazda Connect was not in it but they would upgrade it for free when it came out which should be any day now and they would contact me when it was available.They never contacted me. Here it is 2 years later and they are telling me its not available for my make and model (A quick google search shows that is a complete lie).Then they started telling me the price to retrofit to the system I was promised (starting at like 500 just for parts)... They are complete liars, never called, never replied to my emails or calls during that 2 year period and are not giving a feature they assured me would be free to me when it came out.Anything to sell a car but clearly dont care about you at all after that.

Fast and friendly service! Took my CX-5 in for routine maintenance and everyone was polite and helpful. I was in and out within about an hour. Will definitely use their service department for future maintenance.

Service was wonderful! Katelyn texted me with updates on my car. I had a long list of things that needed to be taken care of. Everything was done when I picked my car up the same day. My Mazda looked like new! Also, I was given a gorgeous, brand new loaner vehicle with every possible bell & whistle! Very pleased and highly recommended!!!!! 5 stars for sure.
BUYER BEWARE! Today my husband and I went in to buy one of the two 2020 Mazda 6 Signatures they advertise as having on the lot. When we arrived we were greeting by a very nice salesman who was very helpful and transparent with us from the beginning. He informed us that both of these BRAND NEW cars were being driven as demos by the manager and finance manager. That was surprising, but thats okay, I guess. We asked specifically to look at the dark blue, and the salesman goes off to get it. We could hear him in the back of the sales floor looking for the manager to collect the key, okay a little different again, but we will roll with it. He pulls around the car that is visibly dirty on the outside, not impressive. When we go out to look at the car the salesman lets us know this BRAND NEW top of the line Mazda 6 has 4600 miles on it! On the website it clearly states the mileage is 4. The inside of the car has coffee stains on the dash, and a deep scratch on the passenger front quarter panel by the windshield. The salesman assures us those will be taken care of before we pick the car up. Simply put we tell him we did not come here to buy a used car, and a car with 4600 on it is in fact used. The manager comes over to tell us that it is technically new because a title has never been issued, and since he has been driving it there are several upgrades that will be included. There is absolutely no way they will come down on the price. Needless to say were were floored (no pun intended) at this response. The manager insisted the car was in fact new and would be detailed before we picked it up. Before we left we were offered a look at the second of these two cars (we can only guess that the finance manager made it into work so we got to see it) this car had over 100 miles on it. We went in looking to buy a new Signature model and left wondering how this dealership stays in business.
I bought a used G37 infiniti 4 months ago. Finace guy sold me a bogus warranty. He assured me the extra warranty would cover whatever their “warranty forever” didn’t cover.( it only covers the powertrain). Long story short Demontrond will advertise additional warranty to a third party who won’t honor it. My contract clearly states they should cover repairs on the steering rack. I am considering legal action. Demontrond can’t claim it’s not their problem yet they advertised that bogus company to me.
I can not say enough good things! Josue Montoya. He was not pushy at all!! And he made sure all the questions we had were answered. He had extensive knowledge of the cars and was able to give us so much information that other dealerships didn’t even mention. The car buying process was made quick and painless. 100% recommend!
I had scheduled an oil change the day prior and then had another appointment overlap but when I called and rescheduled with Katelyn she was super friendly and adjusted the appointment for later in the day. When I arrived she greeted me and let me know she would be checking the car in and taking it back; about 20 minutes later she came back and presented the assessment with all of the recommended services, and we talked about those and I chose a couple from the list. She explained what some of the services recommended were supposed to address and it helped me understand the importance of those items a little better, but due to time constraints I chose to defer these for my next visit. Her interactions with me were exceptional and she is friendly and approachable, which made my visit to Mazda of Clear Lake a great one.
Rude and unprofessional individuals that work in the parts department. They’re also incompetent, which is why they’re working in parts I assume. Management needs to do a better job hiring these clowns.
My wife went here by herself to buy a new vehicle and applied for financing and was approved for a 5% interest rate at told her she had to pay $3000 down. She looked at several vehicles and ended up bringing one home for 48hrs for an extended test drive, which I will admit was very nice. However, when she decided she didnt want that vehicle and told them she was going to go home and think about it after dropping it off, the sales manager came out and said oh, well if you decide you want to get it we got you a 1% interest rate, which immediately sparked my curiosity, so I asked 1%? Does she still have to put $3000 down? and the manager replied no, no money down and 1% so I said did you re-run her for different financing? and he said no. So I asked how in the world did you tell her 5% with $3000 down, and now that that were unsure about buying a vehicle its magically 1% and nothing down? The manager did some serious backpeddling and I told him no thanks, we dont want your business and left. We were seriously offended and my wife was very frustrated because she felt like she was taken advantage of because I wasnt there with her from the get-go. Never going back there again and not buying a Mazda.

I had a really good experience buying with Mazda of Clear Lake. They treated me very well, and even included lifetime synthetic oil changes for the duration of my ownership of the CX-5 Grand Touring they sold me.Demontrond honored that promise for at least one, maybe two, oil changes, and then informed me on the last visit that would be the last complimentary oil change.So the loyalty and trust the previous dealership built up was destroyed, because Demontrond was too cheap to honor a deal that honestly wasnt very costly to their service department and could have led to service upsells and eventually a new car sale.Instead, I will never shop with any business that carries the Demontrond name going forward. Buyers beware of how they do business!UPDATE: I emailed the address they provided in their reply to this review. Twice. No response.Thats the sort of attention to detail and responsiveness you should expect from this dealership, and one of many good reasons to take your business elsewhere.
