I called with an issue to my son’s 2003 Dodge 1500. These gentlemen went overboard to help me and didn’t ask for a penny. They even offer to diagnose it for free. Wonderful people
Excellent. They work with the customers and are very helpful. Always there to answer questions
The guys were very nice and looked at my car for free. The fluid flush on my transfer case was reasonably priced. The tech even messaged me the next week to check on the car and if I needed anything else.
I would not recommend this place. February of last year i had brought my truck here for them to replace the slave cylinder hose. I then have to come back a few months later for them to replace the actual slave cylinder because it was still leaking brake fluid. That lasted about 4 months and then i had to come back because the slave cylinder was leaking again but this time under warranty. Fast forward to now my truck started leaking brake fluid again so i called them and let them know my warranty was up by about 2 months but was hoping they were still gonna cover it because i should have definitely gotten more than 6 extra months from fixing it the 2nd time. They called me and told me my truck was ready and that it was gonna cost me another $100. They didn’t even call me before fixing to verify that i wanted them to and also to tell me how much it was gonna cost before doing so. I would have taken my money to a completely different shop had i known i was gonna be charged again. Needless to say i had to buy another slave cylinder that’s gonna last about 7 months and for some reason they only gave me a 6 month warranty this time instead of the full year like last time. I will not bring a vehicle back here nor would i recommend them to anyone, terrible service.
I went into transpro this afternoon and had an excellent experience from beginning to end. They were fair and honest. I was expecting one thing to be wrong but was surprised that my repair was far more simple and would cost less than expected. They went above and beyond, including driving me home. I’ve had a TON of bad experiences with mechanics in the past and I was very skeptical but I’ll be taking my business back here when the time comes and highly recommend.Ab
They supposedly did a transmission rebuild and don’t have proof of any new clutch kit materials or no rundown on labor. They did not have the old same hardware (except a neutral safety switch)that came off the transmission, but said everything was new. It’s like they Replaced some but not all parts and the truck still runs the same.
Best place to get your car worked on! The prices are reasonable and the mechanics are super friendly! I highly reccomend this place!
I have really enjoyed my experience with using this company Bob and his crew over at Trans Pro are very knowledgeable about all transmission repairs. Ive taken my truck to three different transmission shops and all three shops couldnt figure out the problem and after I left my truck with them for one day these guys had it figured out and offered me a very reasonable quote for the repairs. I highly suggest using them for your transmission repairs and the warranties they offer are great.
They got my truck driving perfect and even replaced a lot of other parts for me like brakes speedometer cable etc. I called around to see who had the best price and these guys beat everyone by a long shot! All around Great Services, Ask for Herb!
Ive been going to these guys for a little over 6 months now. They replaced the clutch on my 05 Civic Si. Then, a few months later, an engine mount as it had gone bad. Just recently took my truck in as the U-joints sounded like they were about to give up the ghost. Leo got to work on it right away, but not before Herb came to me immediately to tell me the job was going to involve more work. Herb was so nice, this man even let me borrow his own damn car because I lived so far away! Who else does that?! I do a lot of my own wrenching, but some of the heavier duty stuff I dont have tools for, I only trust these guys to do the job right, and at an EXTREMELY fair price. I challenge anyone to find someone as thorough, honest, fair and genuine. Thanks gents! Ill continue to spread the good word to friends, colleagues, family, etc.
Fast and easy service on my Toyota tundra. The team was very knowledgeable, honest, and professional about their service and work. Highly recommend
Herb & Bob were amazing! Got my tranny rebuilt in 24 hrs. Great job. Cost less than competitors. Great family owned business. Highly recommend.
Ive owned my Bronco 12 years, so its a classic family member. Transpro treated the vehicle like it was one of their own. This was the second rebuild, transpros first attempt and what a difference quality mechanics can make. Worth the drive. Do it right the first time. Transpro transmission.
This place is run by Honnest good people,Good communication and they stand by there work.
WAY MORE than just transmissions. The staff here are polite, courteous and above all professional. I have an older vehicle, in which the wheel bearings went out in the front right side. They took care of me right away and had me back rolling in 24 hours. Bobby Cheatwood (The BBB Accredited Mechanic) who did the work, actually took the time to put it back up on the lift, so I could see the work done to it. He even pointed out places that would need attention here in the near future, because of the vehicles age. Herb, who fielded my phone call, made sure I was in the right hands from beginning to end. I highly recommend Transpros, and remember, they do way more than just fix transmissions. Thank you Transpros, for making my experience an exceptional one.
After taking my car to an awful competitor, I had it towed to Transpro. The people at Transpro were honest and easy to work with. Overall a great experience. I wish I had selected them first. Thanks Transpro!
Went in in summer 2012 for an Explorer with too many miles on it. Something went clunk on it and it wouldnt drive, so I thought the transmission exploded on it. Turns out, it was a different issue with the brakes. But I had them flush the transmission fluid out and change the gasket, fluid, and filter, and it worked great. Walked out for about 150 bucks, which is one heck of a deal for them fixing my brake issue AND the transmission work. They were good guys to me. An exploder isnt exactly the hardest thing to work on, instead of something front-wheel-drive, so that probably helped a bit too. But I was happy, and the truck worked.
I took my Mercedes Benz gl450 to transpro last week with a roaring or grinding sound coming from rear end. I wasnt really optimistic because i know sounds are difficult to isolate. Bob called me by end of the day to give me bad news. It was my transfer case - metal shavings in fluid. As he began to work on a repair price I called MB dealership and to replace transfer case with re-manufactured part would be about 7K!! SMH! Bob calls me next day with several more affordable options. I decided to purchase a used transfer case online for $1300 with 1yr warranty. Transpro removed and replaced part at fraction of cost with 6 month labor warranty. BOOM! Im back on the road, sound is gone all for about 1/3 of what my bill wouldve been at MB!!! These guys at transpro are knowledgeable, courteous and fast on turnaround. I would highly recommend them for any drive-train issues at all !!!!
This was a very pleasant experience, very easy going, did what they said they would do.
This place i just saw as i was passing by, to my surprise they have been in business for over 20 years, had my 99 mustang transmission looked at, got a quote and once they found what is wrong requoted, not much difference, had it worked on by aamco previously took it back to aamco and they said nothing was wrong and its a sickness of my transmission and its normal. Anyway, this place opened up my tranny and told me what was wrong, showed me the parts and discussed with me what was wrong and what caused it, fyi, im never going back to aamco, this place is legit, priced fairly, and they tell you what you need done, overall very satisfied with the service and warranty comes with their work.
Amazing people. I bring my truck here always.
Traveling from Florida we started to experience transmission problems....which means big bucks! Everyone at Trans Pro were courteous and professional! They diligently found the problem which was a harness cracked and cost a couple of hundred. Thank goodness for honest people! I would recommend them to everyone!
Best place to fix your car! Highly recommend you go to this shop!
I have taken my cars/minivans to Transpro for several years now. They are very honest and straightforward with their diagnosis and are attentive to details. For a transmission fluid change, I was provided clear information on the health of my tranny. The work went quickly and I was out the door in 45 minutes. The technician even cleared an engine light code for me at no charge, after telling me the reading. I would definitely recommend them to friends!
This company has done our Transmission work for our company for 10 years. Always spot on when diagnosing, also they stand behind there work if there is a problem. Anything that has moving parts is subject to failure at anytime. IMHO, people hold businesses to impossible standards of perfection. The real key to a good business is that the do the right thing when an issue arises, and Trans Pro does take care of their customers.
These guys are very nice and prices are Quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.
Great Service Indeed!! 😁👍
Great shop Adam is away nice and the owners worked with us with the repair
I called them to get a quote on a transmission service for my Hyundai and they were extremely rude. Sorry, I dont know motor sizes and stuff like that. Im a woman and youd think they could have a little more patience for people. Smh smh what a joke of a company
My girlfriends daughter had a problem with her car not moving while in gear. The problem she had is well documented and other Suzuki owners have experienced the same issue. The first trip into TransPro resulted in a replacement of the cars computer and the TPS sensor and a $798 repair bill. Within several days.......same problem. They kept it a week and returned the car as repaired with no explanation as to the cause of the second incident. In the mean time my girlfriend disputed the charge because the repairs did not fix the problem so there was some question as to the need for a new computer.....especially since the new computer checked out and we were still having the same issue. No printout from the original computer diagnosis was provided, the old computer was not returned to us so we could have it checked. Each time we talked to Herb and/or his brother Bob the stories were different. It turns out they sub out this kind of work and have no real capability to troubleshot these types of issue, but they sure dont mind taking your money. The credit card company and TransPros merchant bank agreed with our dispute and Bob threaten to take us to court. These guys are dishonest and unprofessional and I would recommend to anyone needing any work done to stay away from this place. Both Bob and Herb have tempers, yell at people and have no concept as to have to work with customers to resolve issues in a professional and constructive manner. Bob even called my girlfriends youngest daughter and left threating voicemail messages. I recommend that if you need this type of work done you send your car to a third world country and have them work on it rather than these.guys. I even had to call TransPros merchant bank to help resolve the credit card issue. So to sum it up.....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honest people, fair prices
Great guys to deal with
