Not too bad on the price but i still felt a sight vibration so i might have to take it back when i have time.

Had an apt for 8. 2 hours later I checked on the progress of my car (usually an alignment takes less than an hour) and they hadn’t even started on my car yet “bc there were tickets in front of you” which is odd bc I had the first apt of the day (they open at 8 and my apt was at 8). People who arrived after me were serviced before me, so my apt time wasn’t honored at all. Front desk guy apparently doesn’t realize that customers can hear him when he’s not directly speaking to them. Foul language, complaints about logistics, stating the technician who did the alignment on my car had some sort of undisclosed eye condition that he needed to go home early for, etc. Waiting room was dirty and disheveled. There was a spider web with a spider (and it’s previous meals) in it attached to the couch I was sitting on. They added undisclosed fees on my ticket. I only went here bc I got a coupon from Discount Tire when I purchased my tires. Front desk girl handed my alignment results to me without any explanation as to what they meant. Whole experience was just less than ideal. Will not be returning.

Took my car here to get my studs repaired. We hit a slight issue but with some time an effort they got the job done. I recommend this establishment and the hard working employees. Very professional.

Before I arrived I called and asked how much it would be for a particular oil change. Full synthetic to be more specific. I was told $69. Alright. Thats cheaper than most places which are around $74. When i had the actual servicing done to my car I decided on regular instead of full synthetic to save some money in the moment. Checkout comes around and I was told my total is $63. So how is a regular oil change$63 and a full synthetic is $69. I pointed that out and the price was dropped a whole $8 because I caught them in their lie, not to mention there isnt a proper use of their invoice system so according to them. There was no parts. Just labor. Moral of the story. Dont come here unless you want to be charged unfairly and incorrectly.

Great service!! I have a 2014 ram 2500 that I bought two years ago fairly new and Lyft was put on by dealership. Always had front end issues and took it to about five different shops because the dealerships lift shop that did the work could not figure it out. none of the other shops could figure it out either they all just say I need alignment and still had issues. The last place I took my truck to found the issue but they wanted three grand to fix it and I didnt buy it so ended up at discount for a third of the price they got my truck rolling better than it ever has. Shout out to the workers and manager john. I have been screwed over by plenty of managers that talk to me with the first class talk and act like they just got out of hardvard. I can tell John knows his stuff and tells you exactly how it is and gets straight to the point none of that extra bs. Thats a manager that got all his experience never being scared getting his hands dirty and has no problem taking the time to explain every single step of the process. on top of that I got about three updates to my phone meanwhile my truck was getting worked on.My kind of people right there!

John was very honest and very helpful with the pricing and work offered. They finished my mom for 2010 Toyota Camry full front brake and alignment job in less than 2 1/2 hours with a below quoted price. Will definitely be returning here as a solid customer

Avoid this shop at all costs!!! Took my Honda Civic to this shop to have an alternator replaced in which they put a NON HONDA alternator resulted in over 2,000 worth of electrical damage....see you in court!!!!! They do not know what they are doing at this shop and will damage your car.

Took my jeep in for alignment 11 months ago, Mitch ended up screwing up my axle by slotting it, said would help with wobbly nature of the jeep. Well he was wrong; fast forward my alignment is almost 30 degrees off to drive straight. Long story short Mitch is gone and Brian and John took full responsibility for Mitch’s mistake and took my jeep to be fabricated to fix my problem. At no charge. These 2 are why this pace will remain successful. My entire staff goes here now for they vehicles, and I highly recommend these guys. Ask for them by name!

Took my car in for an alignment, drove off car was still pulling right brought it back the tech told me tires were bad, the next day I took it to get NEW Tires car was still pulling brought it back to them they couldn’t figure out what’s was the issue, owner said I needed a cam kit so the alignment could be right, they put it on & Charged me extra, 5 hours later the owner comes and tells me the car is still pulling right that the tires are not good Even though They were new tires (& to mention it was still pulling even before I bought the tires) Drove it straight to Firestone for an alignment again after that, 20 minutes later the car came out running straight. DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE THEY SCAM PEOPLE!!!!

Our truck was hit and the mirror was broken. We went to Discount Auto because when it was under different management we had always had super service. The new manager/owner gave us the charges so we could submitted them for payment. We were paid promptly by the person who hit us. When we picked up our truck the price was $70 dollars higher than the bill he gave us. We were told there was a mixup with the parts and he passed on the cost of his mistake to us. Unacceptable!

Today I had a great experience coming to this establishment! The staff is so friendly and helpful! I am able to trust that Im getting exactly what I need for my vehicle, the owner makes sure to talk to you and bring you out to the garage to see exactly what needs to be fixed. I highly recommend coming here for all local mechanic needs!

Do not take your vehicle here. We went for a wheel alignment and installation of tire rods. Very simple. $275 later we pick up the car and it drives horrible, take it back the following day and we are told it needs $1700 worth of work that there were things broken on it that were not broken when we took it there. After numerous conversations with the manager and getting no where, he did not reimburse the money and then wanted to charge even more for them to write down what it is they said was wrong. We picked up the car took it to a place down the street the alignment was completed with no issues for less than 100 bucks. Horrible customer service and quality.

These guys are a scam, unprofessional, went in for a broken stud bolt and an alignment tried to get me to buy a control arm without even talking to me he even tried to order it, and found out today that I don’t need one, these guys will take your money not honest people do not go here. Reeks of cigarettes because the manager smokes inside the facility! Steer clear of this “shop”

I do most of my own mechanical work, but I needed front end work done on my truck and didnt feel like doing it this time, so I took it to Discount Auto Services. They correctly diagnosed the problem without adding any unnecessary work, gave me a price, and an approximate time that it would be done. My truck was finished the following day, earlier than I expected. The work was done properly, at the quoted price, and my truck runs great. Everyone was friendly, customer service was very good. I have used them in the past, and will continue to use them.

Its been a while since I went in to Discount Auto and I still feel the same as I did the day after.My car needed an alignment, I knew that much but I was afraid I would walk into a mechanic shop and the would try to take advantage of me because I am a woman. That is NOT the case here. I walked in with out an appointment and ask if they can help me, the manager said yes but it will be about an hour wait while they are finishing up other work and he gave me a quote for just an alignment. I waited in the very spacious waiting room for about an hour and a half . However, the wait did not feel that long because the manager came back and talked with me about my car and all kinds of topics. Then after they looked at my car they made sure that I knew I needed new tires. Cringing I asked them if everything else looked good.. and to my surprise they said yes. I will need new struts in about a year but for now they are ok. So I paid for the alignment which was the exact amount I was originally quoted and left.As a side note I also had a few lights lit on my dash and I asked them if they could tell me the code and they did plus told me a round-about cost when I am ready to get it fixed.Needless to say I am happy with my service there.

I can’t say enough good about this place today. They are honest and helpful not to mention quick and thorough. I didn’t feel any pressure whatsoever ever and they didn’t try to “upsell” me once they knew they had my business. I brought my vehicle in knowing exactly what what wrong and they just clarified it for me. I have a hard time trusting any mechanic shop, even dealerships, but these guys, they’re the real deal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been looking for a reliable place to take my cars and recommend for others and I found it. Great, fast work for a reasonable price. I came in first to get a stud replaced for my wheel, but asked why I had a roar from the front right tire. They found the problem and fixed had it before noon. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible communication. I was never called once while my car was there. Brought my car in for an alignment and they found some problems with the vehicle which is fine. I wanted to get the most pressing needs fixed. They replaced 2 axles when they told me they were going to replace my struts and stabilizer. No communication throughout the whole experience. After the repair, the car had a huge transmission leak because they didn’t replace the seals that they were supposed to replace when they did the job. This could have damaged my transmission. They also damaged a plastic piece underneath my car and won’t take accountability for it. I picked it up today after they said they fixed their mistake and now my radio doesn’t work. They had to charge my battery to get my car to me even though the battery was purchased within the last year. These people do shoddy work and I am not even sure if it is fixed correctly now!! They are very disorganized, lose your paperwork and do not call you to update you on repairs. Beware!***UPDATE: There is still a transmission leak. It is not as bad as it was before, but it is still there! I guess I will have to have someone else fix what they caused.

Keisha (I hope Im spelling your name right) was a wonderful introduction to the experience. She was cheerful, informative and kind when she set my appointment and greeted me. The owner was right there to walk me through my service and everything was done fairly and promptly. I was able to do a little work in their lounge area, easily connecting to wifi and sitting on comfortable couches. I will happily return for service.

USE THESE PEOPLE WITH CAUTION!! I had my SUV towed to this garage after I hit a curb and blew out two tires. The only thing that required service were the tires. In the 8 days they held my vehicle nobody would tell me what was happening with my car. I called everyday and everyday there was a new excuse as to why Mitch the manager couldn’t call me back. My insurance agent mistakenly sent them the wrong estimate, one for over $3000 with extensive body work. Rather than calling us & telling us that they received an estimate for a Chevy Silverado (I have a Subaru Outback) they moved my car to a second location and began trying to do this unnecessary work to my car. They were so rude and unprofessional that I had to call the police & put an attorney on retainer just to get them to stop taking advantage. When they finally allowed me to get my car, this jerk (manager Mitch) actually tried to convince me they did a great job and should handle all my future maintenance. This shop is completely unreliable and they have no issue ripping off their clients. Save yourself a lot of money, time and frustration and go somewhere else!

Went here on Wednesday with an appointment and was taken care of immediately. Very friendly and professional staff. Mechanic was very helpful in pointing out that my tires needed balancing as I just bought them from Discount Tire. I only gave four stars because the waiting area needs some work. Overall great experience!

I am giving them 5 stars because I came in with my car thinking it would be a simple fix and it turned out it was a more expensive problem. I am a 22 year old girl that’s more broke than you can ever imagine and the people that work here are amazing. We worked a deal and i couldn’t be more greatful for what they did and it made me realize there are still genuine people in this world. This place is the the go to place for your car. I will definitely be coming back here from now on.

This place is full of con artist. Took my vehicle in to check oil pump. I was told let us check it out at the most worse case scenario replace oil pump 1100 $ after no phone calls a week later I was told my truck was ready 2,500 . And I had to have my truck towed a day later. After weeks and months of the run around I finnaly won a court decision. Warning / caution do not use these people they will make u sorry in the end.

The worst shop ever. I took my car here for a simple oil change. I work close by and thought that it made sense to drop it off during my lunch break and pick it up after work. I got to the shop at 6:10 PM and behold, the shop was closed, lights off, not a person in sight. I didnt even get a call before they left to see if I was on my way. The most inconsiderate people.On top of all that, they charge $40 for an oil change. $40!! The whole point in taking my car here was to make my life easier!Anyways, never coming here again. But I am sure the owners of this shop do not care because they get all the business from some league city used car dealership. Considering all the bad reviews, Id be scared to buy a car from them if they get it serviced here.

I purchased a lifetime warranty for all of my vehicles 3 years ago. I have the receipts proving it, they wont honor it. I would not take any of my vehicles to them again.

I recommend that everyone steer clear of this shop. Hopefully they wont be in business any longer when I get done with them. Theres a couple shops around the corner that can handle your business for you.

I, Pam Phillips, am a senior, disabled, widow. I know enough about cars to know when they don’t run correctly! I drive a 14 year old Suburban that has over 250,000 miles on it! I first learned of Discount when I needed an alignment. I drive a lot & I drive the Gulf Freewy. They had to redo my alignment several times due to road conditions & were super about it. My drive shaft fell out from under my car on the toll road at Parker & Mitch got me picked up, taken to his East feeeay store & back on the road that day! I won’t go anywhere else now. I think they are honest. Straight forward & caring. I have had a couple of major things done to the old beast & when shopping around for prices, they have quoted me the best ones & as I said I trust them to do it right & STAND behind their work! I have found my mechanic shop & my gery beast has found it’s life long restoration doc!

This place is a joke. We’ve used them for 8 years but today they lost us as a customer. They tried to charge us $200 for labor for replacing a battery. Their parts are marked up 100%. We usually get a call for a quote before any work is done but they were not courteous enough for that. When my husband called to ask up the prices on the part the manager told my husband we could come back up and they could put the old parts in. The battery we had in it was only 3 months old and they said they threw it out already.. I am so furious and refuse to ever return. Whoever this new manager is is going to destroy this business

Had them do a tune up on my 97 prelude, it ran fine going in but 2 days and $740 later it runs like crap, they didnt even tighten the spark plugs... Ive found a mobile mechanic that has been taking care of a buddy of mines car and hes proven trust worthy and a fair price and I dont even have to take my car anywhere

Took my truck in for an emissions problem they found the leak and fixed it for a low $130 dollars then the light came back on the next day. I had it read at auto zone and it was the same error message. I took it back and they found anouther source of the Leak and fixed it for a low $400 more. Yup the light came back on the very next day with the same error code! They are either morons or crooks! dont go there.
