Had my wife take my 2021 Ram 1500 in for a oil change. The truck only had 4200 miles but was getting ready for a long trip. They didnt change the oil or oil filter but charged me 61.00 dollars for a oil change. The owner said bring it back and he would look at at but I decided to just change it my self., just didnt want to lay on the cement to change the oil.I am a desel mechanic so I know what to look for.

Loved my first experience with GAX today. They’re so honest and genuine. The service manager felt like I was talking to my own aunt. No rip offs. Not a fancy place maybe? But they offer everything else you could imagine. Starting from great customer service and stopping at free water while you’re waiting. Will definitely be back. I work for the city, and the city gets their vehicles serviced there so I assumed they are honest and do good work from what I saw. So I began to take my personal vehicle there for oil change blindly trusting them. Long story short they made a few mistakes the last time I was there... I said ok I understand mistakes happen no big deal.We moved on but they also brought to my attention that I have a few oil leaks that I need to address and they gave me quotes to fixing those problems.I went home that day got under my car only to find that it was not leaking from the areas they said and noticed they did NOT replace the oil filter which they claimed to have changed. I got under the hood and noticed they had over FILLED the oil by 1qt and didn’t top of any other fluid which they claimed to have checked. The girl up front is overly nice and sugar coats things assuming only to cover up what they really do. Needless to say I won’t be going back and will let my employer know as well so that our city trucks can get serviced properly somewhere else

They didn’t pass my daughters inspection because the windows it was too dark. She went down the road and got it inspected right afterwards. I know for a fact that the tint installed was within legal limits. They just want to make an extra sell On a young teenage girl who they thought they could con into having her window tent removed and replaced. ...Do not come here some crooks. If they could visibly see the window tint was too dark when she pulled up the should’ve said something before they took her money

I had a bearing in my rear axle detonate and eat the rear differential gears. I had the car towed here, and Russell gave me a call to explain the internal damage, the options for repair, and gave me the choice as to how to proceed. I ended up ordering a salvaged axle from another company and had it shipped there. Russell and his team installed and test drove the car successfully. Labor prices were fair, and the tow bill was on it too, as agreed upon. I was very happy with their work.Unfortunately (being optimistic here) a bolt on one of my shocks must have vibrated loose and fell off the car, causing a severe squeak and bad ride. I called up Russell, explained the situation and he had me bring the car asap. They took 5 minutes, found and fixed the problem and made sure the other shock was firmly bolted as well.I am pleased with their service, their prices, their attitude and professionalism. If anything else mechanical would happen to my car that I cannot fix myself, I would take it to them for a honest repair.

Disappointed. Was hopeful. Thought I had found an honest, knowledgeable auto repair shop. Fixed my vehicle the first time to the tune of $500+ after wasting $300 at another shop who likes to prey as well. Sent a card for a $15 oil change, took car in for the $15 oil change which ended up costing $150. But they are just like all the others, gonna take your hard earned money on bogus needed, desperate repairs. Telling me metal in deferential fluid after letting them flush it and have since researched....normal to be there. Then proceeded to tell us the front axle needs replacing ASAP but cant give a price till Monday, and for a final hooray, produced a dirty air filter. (At this point, not sure it was even mine.) Since this vehicle has had many repairs in the past 6 months, no other shop mentioned a bad axle, even the tire shop who replaced the tires only a couple of months before. Christian Brothers COMPLETELY checked the car for FREE. I do have a power steering leak, but was told it would be very costly to repair (5 hours labor) so just keep fluid in it until it worsens and there is NOTHING wrong with the axle. Who told you that? What!?! Well fool me ONCE shame on me, fool me TWICE SHAME ON YOU!!! If you use this shop, I highly recommend a second opinion BEFORE you spend your hard earned money on their bogus, much needed repairs

Low prices excellent service

Gone downhill. They have trouble finding parts. Ive had to track down my own parts, buy them, then bring the parts to them twice now. They lied and said we needed new rotors and brake pads to fix a squeak once which ended up being untrue. Rotors and brakes were fine, the brakes were just squeaking from moisture we found out after going to an honest place. Also put on a rebuilt part without asking us if it was okay. Mechanic is surly and has an attitude. This place used to be so great. Think it was taken over by someone else in the past year or two because I havent seen the old people there in awhile. Were done there. Sad too. We used to love it. Found a better place just down the street.

Update:I went back to talk to the mechanic he was nice to explain me situations about my car, and he said he has told the lady at the front desk to make sure to be clear with the costumers. 4 start because the below should not have happened in the first place, but he strikes me as an honest man.old rating:I was told the A/C service is $29.99, which includes topping off coolant and checking the system. Comes to find out I had to pay $112 for adding 2 LB of coolant.

Very happy with the service I just received. I called around and everywhere charged a base rate of about $89.00 for an AC diagnostic same as this place. I decided on this shop because I saw one review that looked promising, and they were very friendly on the phone. Made an appointment for 9:00am to drop off my car.When I got there I had very little wait before the mechanic came out and talked to me. I was having a pretty baffling electrical issue with my AC due to a manufacturer defect in design. After correcting that defect is when I started having power issues to the system. He listened to my whole story and every little thing that I had already tested before getting there and didnt make me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about. Dropped off the car and about an hour and a half later got a phone call back saying that everything was good to go.I was pretty sure I was going to need a new blower motor; but as I suspected it was just a simple electrical problem with the circuit not being grounded due to faulty wire further up in the dash then what I could get to. He also refilled my refrigerant because it was low (something I already knew about.) After everything was said and done he only charged me $129.00 way less than the $300.00 I figured I would get saddled with. AC is working like a champ now; This visit turned out great. Great service, great work - Im very happy. I plan to bring them another vehicle that is having issues with a vacuum leak I can;t quite pin down. Going to see how they handle that, but if its anything like this Ill be using these guys every time.

Brought my car (1998) in, needed timing belt replaced. He replaced timing belt for $621.00. Gave me a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. Three months later, timing belt broken again because he didnt change pulleys. Someone told me that timing belt comes in a kit, which includes belt, tensioner and pulley, so the pulley should have been changed. Of course he didnt honor the warranty. Dont think he would have done this to a man. Ladies be warned! WE WILL LET SMALL CLAIM COURT DECIDE WHO IS LYING!

Unlike every other place out there that are lazy on the work, you can trust these mechanics to work fast and to treat you fair. I recommend them highly!

Update:4 start because the old issue should not have happened. But, I still would go back there to give my business.My old review was saying that they pulled the trick of bate and switch, but it appears that it was just lack of communication between me and the lady at the front desk, who was relly nice by the way.I talked to the gentleman who worked on my car, he was nice to explain what further issues my car might have. It lools like he takes pride in his work he was nice after I have them a bad review, and I respect that.
