I LOVE Ultra Beauty and stopping in here I had another great shopping experience. I stopped in here to puck up VERB Ghost Dry Oil Spray Disco Edition but they were sold out. I opted for the same stuff just not Disco Edition! Theyve always got awesome stuff Ive just got to have. The employees are super helpful with whatever You need. Just had the BEST beauty service experience (Signature Haircut) with Marcus✂️💇🏻‍♀️🤗 His mesmerizing hands worked magic ad left my super long hair looking SNATCHural...shiny, healthy, sexy...after cutting 4 inches off!!!.! He gave me no guilt trip after coming in looking like Id been rode hard and put away wet😏 Marcus is so knowledgeable and shared so much hair care tips. Mmm I love my hair again! Come see Marcus!

HiGHLY recommend the stylist Amber (she goes by Patricia when scheduling online). I came in to ulta salon with a botched highlight from a different salon for a color correction. When I met with amber we sat down and went over colors. She was extremely patient while we figured out what colors would work and what I really wanted. Afterwards the new color was BEAUTIFUL! She got exactly what I wanted! Thank you amber!

Get your brows done here! Karina did my brows today and it’s hand down the best service I’ve ever had on them. She did a great wax and then gave very helpful tips on filling them. They have a great product selection and the staff is very helpful. This is the only Ulta I’ve ever enjoyed!

Love the salon the manager Brandon! He is awesome he treats his customers well and knows the newest techniques. I will be going there regularly to get my hair done, more like a beauty salon that knows what they are doing now then just a stepping stone to get experience! I recommend him to everyone!

My experiences are always great until the past 2 days.... i came in yesterday to get a foundation match. the manager matched me, said it looked good and everything. i was WHITE let me tell you, i when back the next day to return and to be matched again. Same manager matched me, said she did it wrong yesterday.... well. didn’t make any progress, i still look like a ghost. if she doesn’t know how to match then she shouldn’t say she can..... i live an hour away, it’s not like a can make a daily run to wf to hopefully get the right shade one day.... smh

If I could give no stars I would. Never have I ever had such an awful experience at an Ulta Store! I was in the store for over 45 min and not a single associate approached me or asked me if I needed help. In fact every single one of them that I saw would just give dirty looks and avoid not only myself but other customers. Most of the associates I might add were more dressed to go to bed then to even be at work. This is a extremely bad representation of professionalism in the work place . This is not only a matter of bad customer service but also a reflection of poor training. I will not be returning to this location again I will take my buisness elsewhere.

My wife loves it here. I like to come to, just to poop in their bathrooms. They are always so clean and smell so nice. Thank you Ulta for thinking of us guys. Now just add seats at the front of the store, facing a TV with ESPN on and we are golden.

Wandered around the store twice before I found what I needed, no employee offered to help me until i had what I needed and was headed to checkout.

Said they would fix my friends hair that they messed up then when she came back the salon manager told her that they didn’t have time for her! The manager even tried to tell her she had the time wrong and when my friend showed her the appointment time text she quickly changed her tune! Awful behavior towards young adults

This time sucked, I was so excited to spend money on myself. I was greeted nicely but once I asked help from one of the ladies she just wasnt really helping I felt she didnt feel like helping me. I simply just walked out because she didnt even try to help me find whatever I was looking for, I work with people all the time and I hope if go next time I will not have to end up walking out empty handed. And feeling upset.

You always receive a cheerful welcome when you enter the store. Staff is knowledgeable about their products. However, this strore never seems to have the free items you are supposed to get when you purchase something specific, this includes free birthday gifts and free gifts specifcally for Platinum members

We are stationed in Wichita Falls and I was delighted with my experience at Ulta. At our last duty station the Ulta employees seemed always annoyed and bothered to be approached. That is not the case here in WF. I have never had a single bad experience in this store and I buy a lot here. The ladies always greet me by name and are extremely sweet and accommodating. I dont return much, but every single return I had, went smoothly and was handled in a courteous and professional manner. I did not experience any particular brand being pushed on me. When I ask for product recommendations and how they compare to similar products, the ladies are always knowledgeable and respect my concerns (e.g. animal testing). They are not upset, if I decide for a product that was not recommended by them. During following visits I always try to give feedback of my purchases and it seems to be appreciated or at least acknowledged. To all the employees at Ulta: A big THANK YOU for always being so helpful, sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating.

I had bleach blonde and my roots were starting to show so I decided to try out the salon at ulta. I informed the woman what i was wanting which included my roots covered and a few thick low lights, i also asked for no more than 1 1/2 in of hair cut. I left the salon with light brown/grey hair and she cut 4-5in off. I would not recommend going to ulta or having Amber Shown attempt to do your hair.

Some employees really needs to work on their customer service. I went in on 9/16 when the monthly ad clearly said free eyebrow waxing to fix a mistake made at another salon. The eyebrow specialist did a phenomenal job, but said she could only tweeze since I had just had my eyebrows waxed elsewhere and it may be too harsh. However, on the tab she still marked eyebrow wax. When I went to pay for it and a few items I was buying, Kaylee charged me for a wax. I stated that it should be free according to the ad, and she said that there was a note on the sheet stating I got my brows tweezed, not waxed. Not sure what paper she was looking at, because I was looking at the same one and there was no note. I then stated I had a promo code from the website for $3.50 off. As a platinum member at ulta, I know what items the promos apply to. She stated I doubt itll work but we can try if you really want to and rolled her eyes. I gave her the promo and sure enough it worked. I went back later with a friend who showed her the promo code on the website, this time for my friends purchase, to which she snapped we cant use the same promo twice, it wont work. Which, again, was a promo FROM THE WEBSITE that can definitely be used more than once. As a manager working in customer service for three years, I know how to treat customers, and employees here without a doubt need to work on that. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this location.

I went there today for a wax, the lady that usually does it was on break so I was fine with a new girl doing it, I figured she was probably just as good seeing as though theyre letting her work on customers. I was wrong for assuming that :( it ended up being more painful than usual because she kept going over certain spots and then had to tweeze a bunch because she missed a bunch of spots as well. After all of that fun stuff it looked ok but now that Im home I found even more spots. I love ulta!! but they need to make sure their new people get more practice before letting them work on customers :/. Now I know who to request for next time.

Having worked in customer service for a major chunk of my existence, I hesitate to leave such a horrible review. However, my experience was not an isolated event, but numerous for the year 2017.Just a little background, some Wichita Falls residents live on the rural outskirts of town, and require a good thirty minute commute. Being one of those country bumpkins, when I make a trip into town, I want to make the best of it.ROUND ONEA few months ago, I was looking like an exhausted single-mom who cant even go to the bathroom in peace. I decided spruce myself up by making a much needed appointment for an eyebrow wax at the Benefit Beauty Bar. When I arrive, another employee sees me wondering lost, and tells me the Benefit girl called in sick. It would have been cool if Ulta had updated me earlier in the day, that the appointment was cancelled so I didnt waste my time.ROUND TWOI had the pleasure of another unpleasant experience with the Benefit Beauty Bar that has thoroughly tested my patience with Ulta. I was making my weekly errands in town when I decided to see if I could get a walk-in eyebrow wax. Since I skipped the appointment route this time, I wasnt going to be disappointed if I couldnt fit into their schedule. However, I walked in on, lo and behold, the Benefit Beauty Bar girl, grossly eating fast food while waxing one of her homegirls eyebrows. (who, funny thing, WAS my hair dresser) It was very awkward. I asked if I could get my eyebrows done. - She hands me a business card with her mouth full, and mumbles to me that she is off the clock; to make an appointment. Needless to say, I fired both of them from life.This is when a very professional woman from the Dermalogica Skin Bar must have seen the look of horror and disappointment in my face; offered an eyebrow wax from the Dermalogica Skin Bar. I must say, I am going to leave a most excellent review for this service. However, I was informed by Ulta, that if the Benefit employee is in, I cant make an eyebrow appointment for the Dermalogica Bar.Let me see here, I am a frequent customer (high-tipping, mind you) and I would like to pay for a better service which is located at the Dermalogica bar. However, per their policy, I HAVE to get my brows waxed by the unprofessional Benefit gal? No.The Ulta employees at the Dermalogica bar more than make up for the ULTRA horrible service from the Benefit Beauty Bar.

So I went in to this store a few weeks back around 5:30pm. I had just left work. Dress code where I work is pretty casual. My hair wasnt done, I wasnt wearing makeup—not to mention my roots had been grown out for a few months (purposely), the rest of my hair a faded teal/mint color—and yeah, I probably looked pretty rough to be going into a beauty store.Anyway, I was in search of a few particular products for a special occasion the next day. I dont regularly wear a full face of makeup, and I normally gravitate towards less costly products; however, having previously had some great luck with designer products, I figured it wouldnt hurt to browse and possibly add to my collection. So this time I started on the higher end of the storeAt one point, I looked up from a label I was reading and noticed two employees at the register looking towards me. Shortly after, I turned my focus to making it across the store to products I was more familiar with. As I did so, I glanced back up towards the register and noticed these same two employees—this time, their eyes seemingly following me, chatting. Call me paranoid, but I felt like I was on exhibit at the zoo.Wanting to get the heck out of there, I hastily picked up two of the items I went for and made my way to cash out, finding the third item I was in search of on one of the displays at the front. Sure enough, I was greeted at the register by one of the employees I had noticed from just minutes earlier.Hello, how are you?! she said to me in a tone as if she had the funniest joke ever to tell me.Fine, I responded. Then she turned and signaled to the other employee who she had been standing with, waving her over, so that she could handle the transaction with me for some reason. They shared a weird glance and laugh as the other girl walked up to the register; then she turned to me.Hi, how are you?! she said in the same intonation as the first employee. I didnt plan on humoring her with a response, which is fine because she didnt give me time to anyway. She suddenly said, in a very Mean Girls Regina George-esque manner, I LOVE your hair. I REALLY like the..style.. you have going on here.It was very, ridiculously, obvious that she was making fun of me. To my face. I knew, because I enjoy roasting people myself (in good fun, of course). I normally have a great sense of humor, and if a friend were doing this, I likely would have laughed. But for this random girl at the checkout counter that I had never once met in my life, it was pretty out of line....Thanks, I responded, very dryly. I was annoyed. And I know she knew, because she started complimenting the products I was buying...? Almost as if to say, I noticeably just made fun of you, so let me reassure you that you have GREAT taste in products maam.Heres a fun fact: people can tell when you are being condescending to them, or poking fun at their appearances, voices—anything. The fake smiles and judgment I could feel radiating from these two employees was a let-down. I would think that someone working in a beauty supply store would practice being a bit more helpful and a bit less (obviously) judgy. Although this encounter didnt have any adverse affects on my confidence, it did clearly have some adverse affects on my mood.
