Updated Review:After working through getting my floors replaced and a working refrigerator it is finally done and floor looks great and the refrigerator works and contains no error codes. The delivery crew stayed and made sure that there were no issues with the refrigerator and the water worked. The installers were extra careful with putting in the refrigerator and did not leave so much as a scuff on the floor. ThankYou for making things right and putting in new flooring and working with our installer and vendor.Original review:I am so far beyond upset today. I had my new fridge delivered and the person plugged it in and then told my husband that the giant rip in my floor as there prior to him installing it. First, you plugged in my fridge and didn’t even make sure it was working properly you left it with an error code. Even worse the installer literally destroyed my new floor and the told my husband without showing him before leaving that the floor was torn and claimed it was there before. My floor was NOT torn before this and no one bothered to call me or text me a photo while I was at work. I am so upset by this I am ready to return the fridge and hopefully get my flooring replaced then go buy a fridge from somewhere else. I chose to stay local to benefit our local economy and because I have had great experiences with my other appliances at this store. I will heavily consider where I make purchases in the future. I have walked away with a completely ruined kitchen floor and a bustedfridge....

Had a great experience picking out and purchasing a new couch back in August. We were told that things were taking longer than usual so we should expect delivery late October into November. We called when we hadnt heard anything after November had come and gone and were told that now we should expect January. Called again in February when we still hadnt heard anything and were told March. Here it is, late April, and we havent heard any update. No communication from superstore, no response to our most recent inquiry. I understood delays and situations in the world changing, but weve gotten no communication from superstore at all. We call, get a new time period and when its come and gone we call again. We spent money on this couch in August and we still have no couch. At the least, superstore has shown terrible customer communication. At the worst, they took our money for something we simply arent getting.
Purchased a new home which included appliances purchased from the Superstore. After 7 months the dishwasher stopped working. Called the Superstore, they sent a sub-contract service tech the next day (May 25), he had to order a part and said he would have it in 3 to 5 days. After waiting 15 days I e-mailed Superstores Customer Service (a contradiction in terms). This morning Kim called me and provided several excuses but no real answers. First Fed X is behind due to the pandemic, then the Superstore has several trucks out of service, then the part is being delivered to St. Albans and we are limited as to who can transport. I offered to go to St. Albans and pick-up the part when it arrives. She refused. Finally I asked for the FED X tracking #. Kim refused to provide. Makes me wonder why a tracking # cannot be provided unless she is hiding something. Overall, just terrible.
A Shout-Out to Ray and Cole who recently delivered a new appliance to my home. They were polite, courteous, quick, and knew what they were doing. It was a good delivery experience.
We normally have a nice visit there in the appliance dept. But not this time. Waited a long time just for someone to wait on us then when some young guy came to wait on us we answered our questions with a yes and no answer that was it and we walked. It was like we were bothering him.

I stopped here to buy some appliances for a duplex I rent. I ended up buying 2 washers, 2 dryers, and a kitchen range. Its important to me to keep my money local, and I find both the prices and service to be exceptional.

Their paper ad for 2019 Labor Day was deceiving. The paper ad had single price of $399 with a picture of both Amana Washer & Dryer! I called their phone to check about the offer and nobody answered the phone. Thinking that its a good deal, I made a trip to their store only to learn that, its $399 each!! It was a catch to bring customers to store. Cannot trust their paper ads with offers anymore! Save yourself a trip to the store.Thier paper ads are very deceiving!!!

I visited the SuperStore on Black Friday of this year. After having visited a box store (where I received horrible service) my wife and I went to the SuperStore and were greeted and helped by George Buker. He was kind, helpful and knowledgeable and we left the store with a not just a new TV, we left feeling good about our experience.
Not happy with Super Store. I am very annoyed. Was set in stone with the store to have our furniture delivered TODAY Tue 10th. Waited around ALL day. Finally called only to find out without any knowledge that they had changed the delivery date. Apparently they dont deliver in our area on Tuesdays. We paid for the furniture over a week ago only to find this out today. Ridiculous. Also they said they called and left a message and they did not. There was No communication. They just changed the date without telling us
Sandy was very nice and helpful. I told her which couch I saw online, and she brought me right to it. I was also very impressed with how well she balanced her time assisting multiple customers at once. This is the easiest experience Ive had furniture shopping, and I will definitely be back.

I recently purchased a new king mattress, the electric / motorized frame, (2) pillows, sheets and a mattress protector from The Superstore. They do have a very large selection. I worked with Brenda and thought she was great! Very knowledgeable, spent a good amount of time with us and was just overall very nice to deal with. I am local in Essex and got free delivery which was great - looking forward to the new mattress being delivered in about a week!

Loved the salesperson that helped us. She was awesome and took the time to answer all our questions. Spent $1300 on furniture 2 months ago that part of it is broken because it was put together incorrectly. They have the replacement piece and are supposed to come fix for us. Have called several times to set up a time and we haven’t heard anything back. I hate writing a bad review because we love the furniture and the salesperson. Just wish we had working furniture for as much as we paid.
This place has been around at least since I was a kid. Back then I only knew that my parents purchased stereo components from them, but as an adult I’ve been thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and expertise - both on the furniture and electronics sides of the business. I hate high pressure sales, which you often deal with when considering these types of purchases - and you’ll get it at other places in town - so the salespeople here are a breath of fresh air.
I am a huge fan of the Super Store. I have been shopping here for many years and I tell my friends and family about the store. They even have price matching and I know for a fact that this store is non-profit friendly. Go and shop and see what happens!! Best electronic store in Vermont and its locally owned to boot😁

When we got to the area we wanted to shop, a sales lady greeted us, asked if she could help, showed us where the stuff we were looking for was and stepped back to let us look in peace, but was nearby for questions. That is how we like to shop. When we found what we wanted, she checked stock, took our card and gave us printed directions from the show room to the warehouse. Smooth.
Super Store helped us out in a huge way. My wife and I recently built a house and one of the stipulations of closing was obtaining a certificate of occupancy and one of the key contributor to that was a fully furnished kitchen. The day before my appliances were due to be delivered, they called and said that my range was severely damaged. I explained that my inspection was in 2 days and I needed to have the range in.The Super Store took a range from their floor and shipped it to my house for the inspection and they swapped it out with the one I purchased once it was shipped. They exceeded my expectations and Im very pleased with their service.
Jeff in Electronics is excellent. Hes helped me numerous times with various home audio/video projects. Really knows his stuff and focuses on educating as opposed to selling. Great to work with. I will keep going back.

Never Again - As a Vermont businessman myself, I always try to give local companies a chance over the box stores. After visiting the store earlier in the week to confirm stock on a particular item I was planning to purchase and then calling a couple days later to again confirm stock, I drove from my home (about 1/2 hour) to pick it up. When I got there, the salesperson went to retrieve the item and after making me wait for 15 minutes came back to inform me (with his manager) that they in fact had no stock but of course were willing to (slightly) discount the purchase and deliver it to me the following week. I left and purchased elsewhere. I cannot recommend The Superstore.

2 weeks ago I purchased a great 75” 4K TV Sony Bravia XBR75X900E with great ease at The SuperStore. Excellent service. Not pushy at all. Store even gave me an unadvertised discount, even though I didn’t asked for (or knew about!) - That’s honesty! They even had it delivered and installed 3 hours later as their delivery guys were available! Very competent delivery & installer team. Very pleased with my transaction. They also have a well-appointed display show-room.I dealt with Jeff, the store Manager, who was very pleasant & knowledgeable with what I was specifically looking for ! Much different then Costco where there’s really no one to help you or answer technical questions.
We were looking at mattresses in Nov. 2013 and a woman came up to us and asked how she could help. We told her we were looking for a king size mattress and as she started to take us around to show us these, another couple walked in. She went right over to them and began helping them! I was quite ticked off. So I told my husband lets look on our own but I dont think Ill purchase here! Then one of the owners came by to help us and apologized that one of their employees had called in sick and they were quite busy. After we picked out a mattress, he handed the order to the sales girl to ring it up for us, the one that was too busy for us! I started having back problems in March but never expected it was our new mattress that we paid $1200 for! Ive gone to PT for months now and my hips and back were hurting so much I could barely move! I remembered that I went through this 5 years ago when we had an old mattress. So I tried out our guest bed last night and woke up with no back issues! I called Super Store today to talk to them about it and they said there is nothing they can do. We must have picked out a soft mattress! Really....they should have told us that with my back issues I had!We did purchase a refrigerator there about 1 year ago and their service was great....but dont go upstairs where the mattresses are and expect and good sales person!
I recently purchased a TV which ended up being defective and needed replacement. Jeff Ferguson was most helpful in ferreting out the problem, following up with the manufacturer to get them to agree to replacement and even made an immediate House all to help take the TV off the wall. Other folks in the electronics dept. were very helpful as well.

I bought a sofa and found out it was uncomfortable and I request to exchange for another one with full recliners and pay the difference but the manager on the floor penalize me $ 100 for reason that the sofa have to be sell as used even thought I call them right after they delivered and the sofa was never used.When I ask him why do they sell the sofa as used and he said only because he knew and also justify the penalty that there is a 20% restocking fee but when I call the sales lady who sold me the sofa, she told me there are no such policy for exchange but since thats her supervisor,she can only waive the delivery fee, Oh well, buyers beware if you ever need to exchange. People does make up their own rules for their own reason. Btw The Sales lady is very kind and helpful
We have ordered, washer and dryer for from them sales person was Kimberly. Dryer was not working no heat, they fixed it promptly under warranty. It is nice to see company not just trying to make a quick sale but also is there for you when things go wrong.. 5 stars.

Ive purchased a stove/oven and a sleeper sofa from the super store. Prices were fair and sales people were helpful but not overly pushy. It is locally owned and operated, so your cash isnt going to some mega corporation, if that matters to you.
They have a pretty good selection of furniture and appliances the staff is very friendly and make sure they find you to ask if they can help. I was looking for a more modern looking recliner. No luck. They had alot but they looked like grampa chairs...did buy a sofa had to order it..lots of choices...I love choices

My experience with buying furniture from the Super Store was extremely positive! I purchased two Lazy Boy sectionals and just loved them. In less than a year I sold my townhouse and did not have any room for the sectionals. I ended up purchasing a Lazy Boy reclining couch, a matching reclining chair which I absolutely love! I also purchased a new bed where the mattress moves at the top and the bottom of the bed! The sales lady was fantastic! She explained fabric, colors, styles, what goes together, etc. She also followed up on delivery and made sure that everything was working out well! Congratulations to the Super Store for their wonderful products and the people who work in sales!

I will tell you why you SHOULD shop at the Superstore!About 4 years ago I went to the Furniture store next to The Super Store and was VERY VERY unhappy with the quality and price. So i took the short walk over to The Superstore and was instantly happy. It was the no sales tax day so it was very busy. I was promptly noticed by a sales woman and all my questions were answered. The quality was so much better than anywhere else I looked and the prices were even better.The couch i wanted was in my price range and the sales woman did not stray too far over my budget like most do, so you will spend more money. We set up payment and i was out the door a very happy customer. I would say the only downside (which is not the worst) is a slow delivery time. Its 4-6 weeks. I do not know what other furniture stores have for a time frame but i like instant gratification :)When the furniture was delivered it went very well and they even helped me move my old couch out of the way. They guys were super nice and well mannered. Any other time i have had things delivered they guys that come into my house are not the safest looking people so it was good to see a smiling face.I just purchased a king size bed, Chest of Drawers and 2 nightstands. I am currently redoing our bed room and i asked to have the delivery pushed back a few weeks and they were perfectly fine with that. The Customer service was just as good as the first time or maybe even better. I am very happy with the superstore and all they offer.The other post on here sounds like the person was looking for a problem. And the problems they did have were so minor it wasnt worth their time to write what they did.I RECOMMEND THE SUPERSTORE TO EVERYONE.
I purchased 2 washers. one lasted a few months the other lasted 4 washes. The people working in the store ! I have nothing good to say, so I`ll stop on that topic. After months, I still, do not have a working washer. I feels like it`s a constant wait and defective parts that take forever to resolve. If this issue with this store ever gets resolved, I will never buy there again ! Poor products, high prices, rude service, or no service. Buyer Beware !

We spent a lot of money on a Lazy Boy sectional and the delivery men stripped the feet to save time by using a drill and left it like that. The two stars are for the lack of care and concern by the two that set up the sectional.
Why I will never shop at the SuperStore in Williston, VT again.We bought a dining table set four weeks ago and set up a delivery time. We then decided to pick it up because we were moving and Penske is a couple miles away from their store. My wife Maria called them to setup a pickup time and they got disconnected. They called me back and asked if my wifes name was Mary Anne.When I managed to park my giant moving truck at their store, I went into the furniture show room where I saw two middle aged women chatting each other up at their desks. They heard me enter, looked over at me, and then looked back at each other and started talking again. I went upstairs where I bought the dining set and found two more women were chatting with a guy who had some blueprints out. They looked at me like I had two heads and were just plain snooty and unwelcoming.(Brief side story: The lady woman happened to be the one we saw two nights ago in the furniture room when we went looking for a sectional couch. It was 5:30pm and they close at 6:00pm. When we walked in, the first thing she did was come up to us and inform us that she was closing in 15 (not 30) minutes and asked what we were looking for. We told her and she proceeded to give us a walk by of every single sectional in the store; didnt ask us if we liked any of them, didnt ask what our price range or style interest was, etc. When we had seen them all she said something like Ill let you think it over and walked away. Needless to say, we left)So, when I asked for my dining set they told me it was in the warehouse and not in the store. I asked why no one told me that 2 hours ago when I was on the phone and they said that all pick ups are done at the warehouse and handed me a piece of paper with directions on it. The guy sitting at the table chimed in and said that they sent it over there to package it up for me. Since I didnt buy a floor model, I had no idea what he was talking about, but I left very angry instead of flipping out. There was a guy walking around the furniture show room so I decided to tell him about the awful customer service.I followed the directions and found myself on the same road Penske is on... enough said.We found that the table had two missing pieces. I had to wait until Saturday morning to call. The guy who I saw the day before answered the phone. He told me hed try to order me the parts that day, but since it was Saturday he likely wouldnt get the order in until Monday. I told him my back story and how angry I was. He said he was sorry to hear that, but that he was there the day before and was surprised to hear yesterday that I thought the customer service I got was bad then proceeded to justify himself and his employees and insist that the customer service wasnt bad. I was actually coaxed into arguing with him for another couple of minutes. He finally said theyd have someone out Wednesday to put it together for me.Called today and the woman on the phone told me theyd call me back on Thursday with an update. I asked what happened to my Wednesday delivery date and she said they couldnt know whether they could have it by then. When oh when will we be able to eat somewhere other than our coffee table? Please dont do business with them. Check out Wendells in Colchester. They were awesome.Gave them 2 stars instead of one, because the electronics department was helpful.
No one offered help. One salesman was helping another customer; another salesman nearby. No one acknowledged we were there. We walked around a bit but werent impressed with what we saw.Pretty disappointing visit.
