I bought my Acura here a year ago. I liked this place. However today, my husband and I took our Acura here to get an OIL CHANGE. Made the appointment for an oil change, no other services were requested or mentioned. An hour or so later my husband gets a call (I am in the room) from Flow Acura that our car was ready to be picked up. He asked how much the cost was and was told $103 and some change..... WHAT??! For an oil change?? Nah. So he asks this was the price for just an oil change?? The man on the other end goes, yeah.. and when I asked my husband to request an itemized receipt, the rep THEN continues, this is for an oil and filter change and a tire rotation... Well we never requested a tire rotation, nor was that mentioned to us, and we were also not called to see if we even wanted that done. So my husband asks ok so was that tire rotation included in the price of the oil change?? The rep says no it was another $30 dollars. So at this point my husband is like we were never called to ask if we wanted that, it shouldve only been an oil change so why are we being charged for services we didnt request to which the rep says (verbatim) Im not gonna argue with you, Ill take care of it, and send you a revised receipt. Youre damn right cause were not paying for it!! We would not have been mad, had they called to confirm if we even wanted that done and THEN charged it.. OR if it was done free of charge as a courtesy but neither of those was the case. Had we not asked, he wouldve snuck that charge in without mentioning it at all. I find this extremely sneaky and deceitful. We probably will no longer go here, as they are NOT trustworthy and try to sneak in extra charges for services their customers did NOT request. Pretty appalled by this.

Dashboard lights would come on however my car wouldnt completely turn over to start. When I got my car towed to the dealership I was told by Sammy I needed a new alternator. He also stated I needed a new battery because the alternator burned it out. I advised Sammy I had an alternator put in 3 years ago at an Acura dealership in Charlotte. He advised me that it was in fact uncommon however couldnt provide any insight on what would cause it to be replaced so soon. I was quoted over $1000 for repairs. Something didnt seem right so I decided against getting my vehicle repaired. I got a second opinion on my vehicle, turns out my alternator is just fine. I just needed a new battery.Be aware!

TERRIBLE!! DON’T BUY OR CONSIDER BUYING FROM THEM!! I drove several hours and hundreds of miles for an absolutely terrible company experience. I requested the out the door price and they told me to go online and fill out my information to get this price. I did so, had a check wrote out for the price of $47,590.66 and contacted them about paying no more than that price. Their response was that the rate was based on standard interest rates and that they couldn’t confirm if this was the price I would pay upon getting to the store. Still I drove the hundreds of miles and several hours, even taking off work early to get there, just to be told the cheapest they could sell me the 2021 Acura TLX Advance Package was $50590.66, although the MSRP is $47,325. I refused! After considering overnight and for several hours the next day, I decided I would pay it and be done with it. I contacted the salesman I spoke with back who contacted the finance department and was then told that they couldn’t sell the car to me because I wouldn’t finance through them and they just couldn’t do a cash deal.

Ive been buying cars for 45 years, and this the best experience Ive had with only one Honda dealer in Cedar Falls IA coming close. I live just over an hour away and gave Flow Acura a call about a 2021Acura RDX. I talked to Jess and Stacy I believe before being passed on to Brad. Brad was able to give me the quote I asked for in a timely manner and it was reasonable considering current lack of inventory in the automotive business. Brad was also able to offer a better loan rate then the 2% my credit union was offering. All and all I dealt with Brad by phone and internet to seal the deal. Brad even offered to deliver the car to me which was a relief to my wife because she didnt have to make an hour plus trip to pick up the car. Also like to thank Mark, John, Randy,and Mike for assisting in the transaction. I would definitely do business with this dealership again! Oh and my wife loves driving the RDX.

Once (if) we connect on matter I will update.) Potential customers, please read this if you are pursuing the purchase of a luxury brand like Acura from THIS dealer. There are many Acura dealers, I pursued this dealer because they had the color/trim combo I was looking for. I contacted Flow Acura the week of 3/29/2021 to inquire about a 2022 MDX A-Spec...a close to ~60k car.On Friday 4/2/2021 I arrived to Flow Acura with all the intent in the world to purchase..after arriving there at 1:30 and leaving at 4:30..a purchase did not materialize. The MDX had scratches on every panel. This for a car that is touted as brand new, for $60k...yet had more scratches on it then my trade-in for a potential trade in scenario.Customers, while this location may have the trim/combo you are looking for...be wary of the actual/real condition of the vehicle once you get there...you just may save yourself a lot of time and headache trying to justify spending your hard earned money on a car in the condition it is in once you arrive. I see Alex (the GM) responds to some reviews here to reach out and discuss; not sure if that is because it may be known/read by Acura corporate on the dealings and approach of their franchisee...but I’ll update this accordingly as such in a fair/transparent manner if these replies for a reach out are with sincerity to understand the situation, and are actually fielded.

I recently moved here from up north and thought I had found a permanent dealership to deal with down here. Last June I had the absolute best car buying experience of my life when I bought a specialty vehicle from them.Even factoring in that it took me SIX MONTHS to get AN owners manual, not the one that should have come with the car, but a generic manual of sorts. It was still the best experience buying a vehicle that Ive had in 40 years of buying. However the vehicle just wasnt what we really wanted (it was TOO nice). It was one of 360 hand built PMC editions. So we were afraid to scratch it or put miles on it. Flash forward 1 year and it has 2500 miles on it and is flawless. But we want to trade it for something that we will actually drive. So, of course I contact the dealer who gave my best auto buying experience in 40 years, Flow Acura. I have sold cars my entire life and researched the value of the vehicle extensively. I came to find that a fair trade value for the vehicle would be $40,000. But when I contact them, they dont even return my messages. So I write them explaining my displeasure, at which time they offer me $34,000 for my trade. In the mean time (while waiting to hear from them) I shopped the car around. Sight unseen a local Lexus dealership offered $39, 000 with no vehicle picked out on my end. A Toyota dealership came in at $37,00 sight unseen, but said they would probably go up if the vehicle was as nice as I described (flawless). And last but not least a Massachusetts Acura dealer hit my number of $40,000 sight unseen. You can imagine my displeasure that I now had to either drive to Massachusetts, or switch to a Lexus instead of staying local and being a loyal lifetime customer of Flows Acura of Winston Salem. Even after explaining my displeasure to the Flow manager they only came up to $36,000. And obviously the car is worth more to an Acura dealer than any other branded dealer. Just not to THIS Acura dealer. I felt as if they just didnt care to have me as a customer. That all happened this week, so I still am deciding which way to go. But be warned instead of treating a repeat customer with respect and being thankful for their business Flow Acura of Winston Salem seems to think once they have you as a customer youre open game, or in car dealer lingo a LAY DOWN... thats what they call a repeat customer who just trusts them. They think theyve got your business automatically and no longer need to try and earn that business! Fair warning to repeat customers shop your trade around and I think you will be very surprised in the difference between their offer and everyone elses offer.. And maybe if I hadnt sold cars for 30 years that would have worked on me, but I knew better. So just keep this in the back of your mind if you are a Flow repeat customer. All I asked of John Hagler was for another stress free fair deal. Not to mention it took me SIX MONTHS to get my owners manual, and even then it wasnt the one that should have came with the car.

I just love Flow Acura. I drive right by another dealership 30 miles to get to Flow and have for 20 years. Flow always gives me the best service. I can always count on the service team to be thorough and careful. Appointments are easy, and service is usually completed in less time than estimated. Just purchased a car (remotely) from Flow, and it was the best car buying experience Ive had yet. Flow just won business away from my local dealer in the Raleigh area by making the entire car-buying process quick and painless. Richard offered competitive pricing, and was not pushy at all. Polly was patient and supportive, despite my orientation for details. They helped me through the entire process of buying a car without visiting the showroom, and managed to put my nerves at ease. To ice the cake, they DELIVERED the car to my house in the Raleigh area at no additional charge. The delivery guy, Mike, was a notary with a lighthearted personality. He brought the paperwork for me to sign, and drove away in my trade. Even the paperwork was not the typical 3-foot long contract printed on a ribbon printer, with the numbers presented in a different way from the negotiation. The Flow Acura contract was simple and effective. I just cant say enough good things about the Flow Acura staff and their sales process. Will recommend them to my friends.

Flow Acura always takes care of their customers. I feel valued at the dealership and when I go to have a service performed on my vehicle. The service guys (Cody and Sammy) are respectful and always a delight to deal with. They know my name, so it’s a very personable environment. My vehicle is always returned to me in the same condition that I leave it. Service wait times are reasonable, and if not they offer a loaner as a curtesy. I trust this dealership and I couldn’t ask for better service from these guys.

Been a customer for a few years now. Sales and Service have been fantastic time after time. I would recommend Polly Roark in sales and Sammy in service who have been very good, but I would expect very similar quality from other Sales and Service employees at Flow Acura. Sammy and Cody in the service department are top notch. Absolute best customer service I have ever experienced with a car dealership/service department. Totally transparent and have the customers best interests at heart. I thought I needed to replace a wheel on my MDX ($800), but received a phone call that they believed it wasn’t the wheel making the problem, but my tire ($206) which saved me money. I completely trust Flow Acura with all of my car maintenance. My mother in law was visiting from CA and commented on how great my Acura Dealership customer service is, she wished she felt this taken care of back home! Just outstanding!

Amazing group of people! Bradley my salesman, Richard the Sales Manager and William the Finance Manager were phenomenal throughout the whole buying process! Having been in the car business and in sales for a long time, this is the best experience Ive ever had buying a high ticket item. I highly recommend Flow Acura and will definitely be referring them and returning to give them more business!That was a little over a year ago. To satisfy my curiosity I had a dealer appraise it. Not only has the car had some service issues and had to have both front tires replaced, on an Acura certified vehicle, the sales manager really stuck it to us and we are $4000 in negative equity. Flow loves their Carmaxish no haggle pricing and their stress free buying experience. What theyve proven to my wife and I, and weve bought about seven vehicles from Flow, is that you only buy new because they will take advantage of you and not blink an eye about it on used and Certified.

You only truly know the character of a company when something goes wrong. Ive been a faithful customer of Flow motors for over 25 years and have always had flawless service until this week - and now Im even more of a fan.I took my 2013 Acura ILX in for service this week and received the usual red carpet treatment: loaner car, friendly and personal service, great communication and clear options for choosing between needed and recommend maintenance. I picked my car up at the end of the day - washed and cooled for me ready to drive home- which I did. The next morning I noticed a significant dent that had not been there before and was concerned. I called Acura service and my tech told me, without hesitation, to bring it in and theyd take care of it. I drove straight there, was given a car to drive and picked up my car - perfectly repaired before the end of the day.Thats great service and a commitment to excellence lived out! I received a letter regarding a recall for my Acura, so I called Flow Acura to make an appointment to have the part replaced. I specifically asked the lady, who was scheduling the appointment, to confirm that the part was still needed, as I bought the vehicle not long ago and I wasn’t sure if the recall had already been taken care of. I provided her with my VIN number and she confirmed the recall was still open. She scheduled my appointment and I took the day off from work, as I wasn’t sure how long it would take to replace the part. Once I arrived at the service department, a gentleman pulled my information and checked the VIN number again, just to advise me that the part had already been replaced. I’m not sure how he was able to see this information, yet the lady that made the appointment didn’t see it. This was a complete waste of my time, not to mention PTO time I took off from work. Very unprofessional.

Best service and best value Ive had at any dealership!! I think dealers often have a bad reputation for pushing unnecessary service and parts on people. Not the case here, if they notice something they will tell you but they arent pushy and will tell if it can be put off or if its something thats needs attention immediately. They offer discounts occasionally and offer loaner cars which a lot of places dont do. They always wash and vacuum out your vehicle also which is a big plus!

I live in Mcleansville and this dealership is in Winston Salem so that’s like a 50 minute drive for me. Only reason why I chose this dealership was because Acura in Greensboro wasn’t taking care of me So I called the Acura consumer relations and they told me to try the dealership in Winston. Took my SUV in for an alignment issue which they claim they fixed after an oil change. Drove back home to mcleansville, within a week the same issue happened again, car was pulling to the side so I called my service rep, he was like oh come on in anytime, all we will do is to throw It back on the alignment machine and see if it’s off or not.He goes ahead to schedule an appointment for the next Thursday because I called him on a Monday. I drove there on the day of the appointment, service guy asks a technician to drive with me so they can duplicate the issue and tackle it. Ride like 5 minutes with the service tech and I’m telling him how the truck is pulling to the side and he’s trying to justify how the road is shaped and sometimes causes the wheels to turn a certain way and all that, he goes on to ask if I remember if he was the one who did the alignment the last time and I’m like I don’t recall, reason he asked was because if a technician does a work on a truck and it comes back a second time i think they don’t get paid for it because that’s what he said.He point blank told me he won’t be paid for it if he tries to fix it because he can’t duplicate what I was saying which to me sounded dumb because I knew he was lying and clearly didn’t want to service the car. We drove back to the shop and he told the service guy he couldn’t duplicate what I was talking about and felt I didn’t need any alignment, at this moment I was furious and getting agitated so I told the service rep that’s not what he told me, I live like 50 minutes away, ain’t no way I will drive that far if I knew they were going to just drive it and tell me there was noting wrong and wouldn’t even try to run it on the machine to check if it’s off or not.Technician sensing I was upset offered to check it on the alignment machine, so he takes off with the SUV, at this point I’m upset so I go inside the lobby and like 20 minutes later he comes back to say it’s done. I knew he was lying and hadn’t done anything to it and that’s how I found it.The service rep gave me a printed before and after alignment from the week or 2 weeks prior to me coming there that Thursday and being as dumb as he is the printed sheet had the exact same order number and exact numbers from the old one, the date and the times on the sheet he had were the exact same thing and when I asked him why the time on the new sheet is the same as the one on the new one he told me his computers time stopped working and I shouldn’t pay any attention to it. I knew he was lying but I didn’t want to create a scene so I took off to mcleansville.On my way from Winston I had a very terrible ride so I decided to take it to crown Nissan to let them check it again the next morning. Scheduled an appointment that evening and took it on the next morning. Got in left my SUV and they called me when it was done.Per the before and after alignment sheet they gave me all the values were off and I had a sheet from how it was before all the wheels were aligned, explained to him why I brought it to their dealership and he compared all the values to the one I had from flow and my oh my it was clearly never done, paid a $100 for the alignment which had supposedly been done already by flow Acura!Very unprofessional in the part of flow Acrura! Never seen a dealership who employ dishonest workers. Why would you lie to a customer about his car? Service rep and technician all need customer service training. Stay away from them as far as possible!!!!Won’t recommend this dealer to anyone!!Don’t LIE to customers!!!!!

I have purchased three used vehicles from flow motors one being a Honda, another being a Kia Sorrento and the third being a Ford F150. The Kia Sorrento has been trashed. It is a vehicle that my wife drives all the time and depends on Service reminder which is located above the steering wheel of the car and let you know when you’re on oil is low or how many miles you have gone on your oil and also recommends an oil change. My wife went for almost 2 years without anything coming on and the engine blew. She always relied on the service reminder. Any warning signal such as low air or the vehicle needing washer fluid or any other signals that ever came on she would report to me about it and I would do what I could but when it came time for oil changes and maintenance repairs she always took it to flow motors at Acura and Whatever necessities concerning repairs were done by the dealership. Evidently the last time the dealership put oil in the car and filled the fluid systems they forgot to reset the service option and my wife was unaware of the need of servicing the vehicle because the Service signal never alerted her that the vehicle needed an oil change. As a result the engine got too hot and the engine light came on and within a week the engine had blown. Neither does she nor I know how to operate the service Signal which I understand can be manually changed as it is done at the dealership when the car serviced, but we never were educated about that. Had the lights come on or the service signal come on the car would’ve been serviced as needed. The Honda had always been taken there and serviced in my Ford truck has always been taken there and serviced and so has the Kia. I feel the dealership is all together at fault just simply because The service signal light did not come on nor did the oil light come on. Result a blown engine. Of course they had slipped in an extended warranty or a service repair warranty that cost nearly $2000 and did not make us aware of the “have to“ do this or the warranty is invalid. They gladly collected the money however. But when it came time to fix the engine they denied our request to repair the engine. Having purchased three vehicles from them seemed to not matter at all. Having had all of those vehicle serviced by them did not matter at all. The only thing that mattered is when it comes time for them to do something for us we were nobody. Always refuse service contracts or extended warrantees. They are nothing but profits to the company and the sales manager. And, they don’t have to let you know that they have put an extended warranty or service contract into your payment contract. Crooked?? 100% crooked!! I will never purchase another vehicle from flow motors, they are disgusting and will lie to anyone if it is profitable to them

Acura TL from Flow in04/19 I was told that I had mantainence free for 2 years I recently made appointment to have my air conditioner service that when I was told it only covers 3 oil changes over there course of 2 years I really was disappointed that I had been told lie had to missed work to find out that they covers nothing

This had to be the most horrific experience ever! I was treated unfair and disrespectful. I wanted to trade in my current vehicle and test drive a new one. They didnt even look at my trade or let me test drive the car I was interested in. The sales manager Brad was just plain out rude and not very friendly. Crazy thing is I was paying cash. Youd think they would want to sell a car. I DO NOT recommend this dealership nor will I ever go back there.

I would highly recommend the Flow Acura Dealership in Winston-Salem, NC.I took my vehicle in for service and was the entire staff was very helpful in repairing the problem. Just received some safety recall work completed on our Acura MDX, and since we were from out of town, we were skeptical about the service we were going to receive. Never fear. It was, by far, the best service we have ever received from an auto dealer. They made us feel like we had been customers for many years. We have been trying to find a dealer to perform the service and every other dealer gave us the run around, but the minute we contacted Flow, they told to bring our car and they would take care of it. And take care of it, they did. In addition we received a courtesy car while the work was being done, and when we picked it up, it was washed and cleaned. We are in the process of purchasing another vehicle, and guess where we are going? Yes, Flow Acura!! Thank you............

Got my transmission fluid changed in my 97 Acura CL today. Manager was friendly even tho he cud not find my appt for today. He said we will get it straightened out and we came back about 3 hrs later and I had my lil Acura back on the road shifting oh so smooth! I am so impressed with Acura s service. Thanks guys! The service staff at this location are exceptional. They provide friendly and honest service and are in no way at fault for my 3 star review. I was provided with a loaner car, which was fantastic, and my service was provided in a timely and accurate manner.I have left a 3 star review because Flow as a service has gone to a Call-center style service which is horrendous and honestly a cheapskate approach to doing business. The call center employees are both ignorant to the service industry and inaccurate regarding pricing. I was quoted 63 dollars over the phone for an inspection that turned out to be 120 dollars, this is, of course, not the fault of Flow Acura, but did occur while I was working with them. Had the call connected with the wonderful service people at Flow, they would have known that diagnoses of my specific problem was more involved than a traditional engine code scan and would have given accurate pricing information. Flow has made a huge mistake my going to this horrible call center system.

In course of the work, the crew found and recommended an additional service that I totally agreed with. Again estimated wait time. I would give this location 4 stars for the ease of making an appointment online, the friendly customer service, and the fact that they explained the services and cost during the process. Instead, I am giving 2 stars based on two things. First, the customer service representative estimated one hour, and it ended up taking nearly two hours. I understand going a little bit over the estimated time, but an extra hour is excessive. Second, for a simple oil change and state inspection I have received approximately 6 emails and countless phone calls asking me to complete a survey. This is excessive. Several of these contacts were AFTER I unsubscribed to the emails and asked them to stop contacting me. If I wanted to complete the survey, I would have done so the first or second time they reached out. The number of communications is bordering on harassment. I may not take my Acura here again simply to avoid being harassed about a survey for weeks afterwards.

Very bad sales experience. We asked for up to date ballpark price before taking vehicle for a ride. After getting the price, driving and waiting for another 1.5 hour the salesman came with price with 7K(!!!) higher than the ballpark price. Why do waste your potential customers time and finally loose them?
