Recently got a flat tire, after less than a year of purchasing a full set of Michelin Tires. I was told when I bought the tires that if anything happened to them there was a replacement guarantee. Called this morning and the guy said, “I wasn’t here when you bought the tires in February, so if the tire isn’t fixable you will have to buy one at full price because you declined some sort of protection.” After having spent thousands of dollars at this place, there’s no way I would’ve said no to a protection that would’ve given me a replacement tire (especially within months of buying a new set of tires). Needless to say I won’t be coming back here and I’m telling all my families members who have also gone to this shop to not patronize any further.By the way, the new guy’s name is Mike, and after reading several other reviews it seems others have gotten the same treatment from him.Not sure who owns this shop, but I know Mr. Tire is a franchise and I’m definitely going to reach out to the corporate office about this store. Worst customer service I’ve ever had there.

At the end of April 2021, I took my truck to Mr Tire, because it felt like my front left brake was stuck. A similar issue had happened to the front right brake in August 2020. Mr Tire assured me that there was no issue with the braking system aside from a loose bolt and recommended several other maintenance services that could be done. Since they took the time to investigate the brakes, I approved for them to perform all recommended services (> $800). At the time, when I drove home, the truck still didnt feel right, but I trusted the feedback from the service center.At the end of May 2021, after driving the truck for less than 70 miles, we noticed the front left brake steaming/smoking. I took it back to Mr Tire and the issue was basically what I had mentioned to them in April. When I drove the truck home earlier today, it felt really good. So, it is clear to me that there was an issue the month prior; however, the center failed to detect it. This resulted in significantly more cost to me.I drove this truck for 80,000+ miles before the original brakes needed to be replaced. When it came time to replace the brakes, I took it to Mr Tire. Since then (less than 2 years later), I have had issues with the braking system on both front end wheels. Those repairs alone cost over $1300 to repair.The service managers were polite and listened to my concerns; however, the feedback was that I received a really good deal on the previous repair and nothing was really done to address the concerns. It doesnt feel like it was a good deal; however, I do not feel like I can trust this location and will need to take my business elsewhere.

Mark and the staff are second to none. I will not bring my cars anywhere else. Honest and dependable. Can’t ask for anything more

This was my first time going to Mr. Tire. I went in for an oil change and mentioned that I needed an inspection for my car. They happily offered to do it and saved me an extra trip despite how busy they were. They were all friendly and made my trip a great experience. I recommend this place to anyone now.

Mark was very helpful and took care of my car in a timely manner. Ive had some issues with service at this location previously. But with the change in management it seems service and turn around time are improving! I will definitely be returning to this Mr. Tire location!

First time I have ever been in a place where the customer service was so bad that I felt the need to take the time to write a negative review. I arrived 15 minutes late for an oil change and would have been totally understanding if there was a need to reschedule for me being late-that was my fault. The 5 disgruntled employees standing at the counter when I arrived who did not even want to discuss the appt and what I was looking to have done on the car (even at a later date), is what bothered me. Completely no regard to even listen to a word I had to say or ask, and treated as if I was the biggest inconvenience of their weekend, is no way to run a business. Id HAPPILY pay anywhere else more money to be treated like a human being when I walk in, and hope this post encourages anyone else to do the same.

The person at the service counter (Mike) seems to always want to be push selling additional services. I wanted a simple oil change for my old car and he was really keen on selling me the more expensive synthetic option. He sounded upset when I pushed back. On a separate occasion, I was 3 minutes late (literally) for my appointment at one time and he said he sent me back and rescheduled the appointment. This has happened one too many times for me at this location and I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Terrible customer service.Employee I talked to at the counter seemed like he did not want to be there at all.I started getting a notification on my vehicle about a problem with the tire pressure monitor, which came on right after having a new tire installed at Mr. Tire. They were not helpful at all in trying to figure out what the problem might be and ended up saying that I would have to take the vehicle to the dealership to be serviced in there.They treated me like I was dumb or something and knew nothing about tires (I actually know quite a bit since my dad has been in the tire business for about 30 years).I highly recommend going to any of the other tire shops in the area (there are plenty).

Spent $1700 on brand new tires and the shop manager calls me an A Hole and screamed his lounges out at me in front of other customers. No matter how annoying a customer is - you don’t do that.

If so you should either think about firing such employees (or) educating them to treat customers with some RESPECT.

Ladies- THEY ARE GREAT. Go here! Take your vehicle, you will not be disappointed. They go above and beyond, they are fair and do great work. The staff cares, and treats all guests kindly and professionally, and care about their buisness. As I waited for my car, the man at the desk knew numerous customers by name. Very happy, thanks team at Mr. Tire.

I had a tire with a nail in it that ended up needing replacement. When I spoke to Mark, he first told me they were rather busy, and it might take an hour or so to replace 1 tire. After a few minutes of waiting, he explained that he adjusted the priority of some vehicles being serviced, and was able to get me in and out within 45 minutes. Not only did they exceed expectations with time, the price of tires and service were very economical. I highly recommend Mr Tire in Apex for any tire related services. Their customer service is top-notch!

Always trying to sell more tires than you really need. I changed all my 4 tires 3 months ago, now my front tire is flat, the guys over here starts with M*, want to replace all my tires and asks me to go to some other store if he just wants 2 tires. The tires are barely worn and I understand there are reasons that run flats are recommended to changes at least two, but these are brand new tires, despite my out cry explaining 10 times that guy is desperate to sell tires.

The mechanics here are amazing. Mark and his crew have fixed our cars many times. We trust them and highly recommend them for car repairs. They recommend only what we need repaired.

I DEFINITELY recommend this place! The service here is outstanding and the prices are reasonable. The people here are nice and friendly and I enjoyed some laughs with them as well. I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I went to one place and they couldn’t find where it was coming from. Then, I came here to Mr. Tires in Apex. Not only were they able to locate the problem within seconds, but they were quick and efficient too. Thank you Ryan for all your help! This place will be my go to place!

Front staff was very good and friendly and I appreciate them working with me closely, however, the prices for services are really high (e.g. $30 just to put a single tire and $120 for 4x)! I would have expected this to be business courtesy and not be charged $120 for it. I was in a tough spot as my vehicle was not working and I appreciate the staff for accommodating. If I had time, given the high prices, I would have gone somewhere else (costco?) where the prices were better.2 stars are due to pricing and NOT the staff.

Thanks to Mark and his team! I had worked with a custom truck upfit company that seemed annoyed with pretty basic questions I had regarding upgraded tires/wheels I was looking for. Basically giving me very little to work with. Mark and Ryan were completely the opposite. They tag teamed to help me with the questions I had and pointed me in the right direction to research what I needed to get the fit right. The service tech was great, extremely personable, and went out of his way to show me the progress. Its clear that this team is comprised of vets and were really nice to work with along the way. Mr. Tire also had a variety of tires readily available, Mark went out of his way to go pick up what I wanted for a same day install. Far above and beyond. The other company lost a pretty easy job with a fairly big price tag. Im glad that Mr. Tire got my business instead.

CLASSIC CROOKS! I took my car in to get 4 new tires, pretty routine. I was told they inspect the alignment when they put the tires on, that’s pretty normal. When they called me later I was waiting for the sell. Imagine my shock when they told me my alignment was off and I needed it to be adjusted, don’t worry it’s only an extra $109.99 for the alignment. I had the measurements for an acceptable alignment in front of me on the computer and I asked them what the measurements were. Wouldn’t you know it the technician didn’t have the numbers in front of him and he would have to get them off the computer. I said yes please, then he rambled on about how both the brakes and the rotors needed replacing and never went and got the numbers. So I finally got my car back and I went to do the brakes myself and the lugs were torqued FAR beyond the manufacturers specifications. If you are running a business where people trust you with they’re cars...please make sure your technicians know what they’re doing and they don’t try to upswell you at every turn. I would rather take my car to Walmart than go to another Mr. Tire.

Had a deflated tire and two bent up rims. They sold me four new tires and when I had an issue with a tiee went out of their way to help. They worked hard to make sure my tires were all working and were setup correctly.When I finally got two new rims they helped me find the correct lug nuts. Great service

This is a place where I do something I dont want and tell me to pay it for it. What I want to do is change the oil, they say theyll change the brake pads. So when I asked the reason, he said that it was his job, and he couldnt talk to him, so he called the police. Only then showed a different attitude than before. As if when it was, he said he would do whatever he wanted. Its really ridiculous, Ill never go again

The guys at the Old Jenks Rd/Hwy 55 store are the best. I’ve had tires replaced there, inspections and a starter replaced with no issues. Mark, Sam and all the guys I’ve met there are great, all ex- military men. If you have to hang out and wait make sure you chat with them, they are a joy to talk with. Service here is professional and top notch. I highly recommend them.UPDATE: I had to take the same vehicle in for a water pump failure and as I have previosly stated the folks there are very friendly and I trust that they are competent and will get the job done. I also understand the business model of upselling services and that employees directly benefit from those sales HOWEVER I am not a fan of adding services without my prior approval. For example a radiator flush was performed at a cost of $154 without my prior consent. This may be a reccommended service BUT I should have been made aware and had the opportunity to decline before they did it. This seems to be a normal practice in the industry but at least try to earn the service by telling me the benefits and allowing me to decide prior to just adding it and billing me. So my recommendation is DO use this Mr. Tire, they are reliable and DO tell them not to add any services to your requested work without your prior consent. It will save you some stickershock.

People are dirt lazy here! I came with my brother at 5:15 to change four tires on my truck they said they can make an appointment for the next morning. Mind you they close at 6 so that upset me because I thought we made it on time but according to this place no. So just come down to Maxx Tires in Apex I called the place and they said we can wait for you and they close at 6 as well and I called them at 5:30 and they said they will wait for me and they did. That’s true customer service! I will never come back to Mr. Tire.

The first few times that my wife and I came here we had no issue. However the last few times were a bit much.My wife dropped off her car the night before, and didnt receive a call all day. She called around 4pm to ask the status of her car and they said she hadnt dropped it off, ended up being that they dont have a proper key dropbox and her key was found under a lift.The last time I attempted to drop off my car for an oil change, I dropped it off at 11am, 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, and talked to the guy at the counter. He mentioned that there was one person ahead of me and pick up at 5pm would not be a problem. I get there at 5pm and the car isnt ready and the guy at the counter is extremely rude saying he would call when its ready and all of a sudden theyre extremely behind. Maybe it was the attitude, but I took my car to another business.

Fantastic, Mark Baillee the store manager was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable and took care of me. Im a car guy myself and do all my own repairs, but couldnt this time due to moving. My rear rotors and pads were done within an hour, and was satisfied with the price and work done. Although the name has changed 3-4 times since I have been in Apex (since 1999) thankfully the service has never been disappointing.I do all of my service myself but these guys are my first choice when I am too busy or if a job is bigger than what my drive way can handle.Always honest and upfront.

Beware! I lost a $150 by purchasing a gift card. I wanted to encourage my son to take care of his first car and to also keep him safe by buying him a gift card that would help him develop good car maintenance habits. I had been going to the Mr. Tire in Apex for my own car for several years.When my son went to get his oil changed the card didnt work. They implied that he had found or stolen the card. He was humiliated.I went to talk to the manager who apologized and tested the card saying it did work. It took a long time to convince my son to try again but when he got a puncture in his tire he went again.This time he was treated politely but was told the card didnt have money on it and was making an error message. I went again and asked for a refund. The manager showed me that the card did work and that the employee who waited on my son didnt realize the reader was broken on the register he was using. He didnt know how to process a refund but had me call the customer service office.I called and told the whole story and they said they would look into it and call me back. In two weeks I called again. The supervisor there said there was no reason to give me a refund because the card works.NO REASON to give me a refund!!! Can you believe that! Keeping a loyal customer is not a reason to do the right thing. Learn from my mistake. This company does not care about you.

I highly recommend this shop! Very happy with the service and quality of work. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and knowledgeable. They are very through without being pushy and will help you prioritize which services should be done and which ones you can wait a while on. Very helpful when maintaining an older vehicle.

Just had tires put on at Mr. tire on Williams Street. Very pleased with the entire experience! We shopped around on prices. Took the quote from Costco in there with us and they price matched the tires. Had an appointment the next day. Told me it would take two hours. It took less than that. I was able to set up and work while i waited. The employees were friendly and knowledgable. This is the third set of tires we have purchased at this location and we have always been pleased. We have recently had other work done and an oil changes frequently. Never once had a bad experience and my car drives so much better with my new tires! Highly recommended!

I stopped by the shop today for help removing a rusted O2 sensor in my old 4Runner, and these guys fit me in immediately and were able to get the job done quickly at very reasonable price. I will definitely use the Apex store for auto services in the future. Thanks guys!

The owner is a great guy, brought my wife’s car in on a Saturday morning for an inspection (scheduled online). They were done within 20 minutes even though I said I would come back later. I used to be a mechanic, so I was eavesdropping on phone calls and the techs talking...they know what they are doing, and they are fair and honest...all you can ask for in a shop

OK I never leave reviews, but I had to today. These guys are HONEST and VERY knowlagable! Got a Wheel Alignment today from Mr. Tire and its is SPOT ON! Also Andrew was very knowledgeable regarding my Jeep and answered any questions I had about the suspension which was a custom lift. My Jeeps never run smoother! Thank you!

This place is amazing. I called Wesley on a Sunday needing to get my electrical system repaired. I thought my alternator was bad after a dead battery left us stranded at church. Wesley told me to come on up and when I got there, asked me a few questions about what I was experiencing. I told himand he said it’s not a bad alternator. He took a look under the hood at my battery connections, grabbed a new connector from the shop, and had it on in a few minutes. The car is running as great as always. I will be coming back here for sure the next time I need repairs with both of my cars.

The customer service here is MUCH better than some other Mr. Tire locations that I have visited in the Raleigh-Durham area. Wesley, Mark, and Mario are the greatest!!! I am always greeted warmly, whether by phone or in person, and the work is completed within the time frame promised, sometimes earlier, and I am continuously updated about the progress of my car. I have been coming to this Mr. Tire location for about 2 years. The shop techs are efficient and very fast. The guys at the front desk always go out of their way to make sure we get the best price and get in and out of there as quickly as we can. With all this construction in the triangle, I have bad luck with getting nails in my tires. Its happened 4 times in 1 year. These guys always make their best effort to properly and safely repair the tire, rather than just try to sell me a new one. That kind of honesty and service is hard to come by at an auto shop these days. I highly recommend this location and all of the staff. Thanks for taking such good care of us guys!

I have never been unnecessarily upsold anything, and anytime Ive had to wait, its made sense. If you never worked in customer service before, then maybe you wont understand that waiting sometimes happens.They are always able to explain everything to me, they care about my experience with my car, and they strive to make time especially if whats going on with your car is very important. These guys know what theyre doing and they have a real respect for what theyre doing.Recently, I experienced a horrible smell in my car and a shaking feeling and some smoke from the hood. I gave them a call, and they told me to come in right away. It was my brakes, and they figured thats what it was and they wanted me to be safe.I trust this car shop, I trust these guys, and you would be doing yourself a favor to make it your regular spot.

So, my wife gets a flat, right in front of the Mr. Tire at this location and gets two tires replaced at Mr. Tire. Assuming all is well, she goes home happy and content, until we have to take the care out on highways and there is a 60mph vibration coming from one of the new tires. She returns to this shop, only to get the run around on what is being experienced (by me as well), and they only test drive it at 30 mph. Then we get the you dont know what you are talking about attitude from the employees. Such a shame that a simple re-balance could have addressed and converted us into long time customers. Sadly, that will not happen. Be mindful that once this place has your dollars, that is there interest, not happy customers with value.

Awesome service - every time! Yes, they know how to work with cars, but they also know how to work with people. Whether getting new tires, getting my oil changed, or getting my yearly inspection, these are my guys.

Mr. Tire is the best place!! We get our inspections done here. They are very fast and extremely professional. The place is very clean and Mark and Wes were extremely friendly and made sure to entertain us while we waited! They are hilarious i would recommend Mr. Tire to everyone.

Stopped by for air pressure check due to TMPS light on. I had hand surgery last week unable to do much myself. They absolutely did it and found the source.. a screw. Mark is great to work with and very customer focused. I was in and out in reasonably time for a walk in! They do a lot of my car work.

The people here are super friendly and do a great quick job! They take care of you without hounding you for all the “little things” that need to be fixed like other car shops. They take care of the customer and your car! Will definitely be coming back here!

I get flat tires constantly working in construction zones, and nothing can make a busy day worse like waiting. But the guys at Mr Tire set me up with new tires in under and hour. And with the road hazard coverage, next time it happens it will be just as easy. Was just here yesterday for an oil change as well. Top notch work and friendly service.

Left the car overnight, promptly ready the next day. Mark and the team notified us of additional repairs that were needed and the best time frame to get them done in as well as fixing a brake light we didnt even know was out to keep us from being pulled over. We get all of our repairs done here and will continue to.

The guys here are great. I usually have a busy schedule and travel alot. I was due for my oil change and Mark and Wes were able to fit me in pretty quick. They got my oil change done WITH A FREE TIRE ROTATION in half the time the dealer usually does. All in all great experience and I will be back . Thank you guys.
