I was initially in contact with Brian and from the first phone call he was very helpful in the purchase of my 2017 Mazda 3. I spoke to him about approvals and he went in on his day off to notify me of my approvals. I was able to go in that same day and he turned over the deal to Shane Gilmore who was very helpful with all the questions I had. Taylor was a genuine guy that took us on our test drive and was able to make the process of buying the car more comfortable. Russ, the finance manager was also very genuine and was not pushy about any options that I did not want to purchase but still did purchase a few options. This team has a very good process and you can tell that they enjoy there jobs with helping customers get into vehicles, no matter what there situation is. Coming from an RV dealership and following similar process of selling RVs to customers, they were very fluid with there processes and straight forward with all the details. I highly recommend this dealership to all and would come back to buy a second car.
Great, classy sales team with the Mazda dept. These dudes are quality; both Josh and Taylor have helped me out and lent me honest car advice when they didnt have to. If you want a trustworthy staff with which to help you get a Mazda I recommend coming here
Bought a car here about two years ago and was very pleased with the deal I got and the customer service was great. So when my wife was looking for a new car we decided to go back to here and they did not disappoint. Great customer service and straight forward pricing. All the salespeople seem co but Paul is the best!
Excellent experience in the service department. My Miata had a really strange problem, and Steve and Jordan stood by me all the way. Great communications, honest answers, timely service—I will return to them every time from here on in. Again, Excellent.
I had a great experience with Taylor Mcnamee as my Mazda salesperson. If youre interested in a Mazda I recommend Sil-Terhar and Taylor as a great choice.
I just got my new Mazda from here and I must say that although car shopping is usually a stressful experience, Josh Ottmar and the Sill-TerHar team did an exceptional job in providing the best customer service! Thank you guys and especially thank you Josh! Youre a rock star!
I visited the collision center there. First class service.I received an estimate complete with a full array of digital photos of the hit and run damaged to our Mercury MilanI was very pleased with the service.
I bought my Mazda CX-7 here 10 years ago and bought the 10 year warranty. Two weeks ago I dropped off my car for 75k mile service. A week before when I got my regular oil change they told me that was due and that they noticed an oil leak. The diagnostic would be $150 for that and I agreed to it.After they supposedly did the tune up and diagnostic work, they texted to tell me it could be the turbo or the PTU leaking oil but they didn’t think it was worth doing anything about it yet. Well, my warranty would be expiring in 7 days so I wanted to know if it would be covered. Besides what kind of diagnosis is “maybe it’s this or that”. And, why would I wait until it gets worse, especially if it’s covered under a warranty contract? They texted me asking for my warranty contract, which I provided. Then they asked for my service records, which I keep in the car, and they told me their system only goes back 3 years. I asked them to get the records from the car. A week after the appointment date, they still had the car and I didn’t have a loaner car and they still hadn’t filed a claim under the warranty. They claim they offered me a loaner car but that’s not true. I was starting to get worried the warranty would expire before they ever submitted a claim, so I called the warranty claims department myself. The claims department finally told me they were going to reject the claim because of a gap in service records. After hours of back and forth, Sil Ter Har texted and told me they want to charge me $338 to open up the vehicle and do another diagnostic. This didn’t seem right to me so I called the claims department again. The claims department informed me that they were asking Sil Ter Har to provide pictures from inside the turbo housing to prove that this was not a service neglect issue. I contacted STH and said that this should not be my responsibility since I had my records and they had deleted theirs, and they told me that I was missing records and that it was my responsibility to keep records.I finally had to give up on waiting for them to deal with this and had to get my car back. I looked through the records myself and sure enough they were all there. I sent them to the claims department and got the claim started and got a claim number myself. After doing that, I’ve been trying to contact STH to honor the claim and setup an appointment. They haven’t returned a call or text requesting an appointment. I think I would have to give a fake name to the receptionist to get someone from service on the phone. My conclusion is that they wanted to collect the diagnostic fee and tell me to be on my way. I’ve been nothing but an annoyance to them trying to get it serviced under a warranty that I purchased from them.
Ive been to the service center of Sill-TerHar 3 times so far. Ive always had good experiences with them and the latest of my visits made me want to say how good their customer services was. Steve and the staff delivered despite a little hickup and having to offer an additional item at no additional cost to us. They exceeded our expectations and did a complete and great job.
UPDATE: Contrary to the response from the manager, my angry comment to Luis was as followed: We bought from a more professional dealership. It may not be what they want to hear, but I dont consider that offensive or angry. I guess they dont take criticism well!Would not recommend Luis! had a terrible experience here. Drove an hour and took off of work to buy a car here, we show up and are told that they already sold the car - no communication of this was had. They had another car on the lot we were interested in - couldnt find it anywhere. Sat there half an hour waiting until they gave up and said they didnt know where it went. Not to mention Luis insulted me after I expressed i didnt enjoy my experience. Huge waste of time and energy, bought from Echopark instead, they completely outshined this place in terms of communication, organization, and friendliness.
I came in to test drive a CX-5 today. I am just starting to look for a vehicle and it was refreshing to walk into a dealership where I was allowed to look at options without feeling the pressure to buy right now. Our salesman, Alex was wonderful! He answered all our questions, respected that we were only looking today, and I walked away knowing I would recommend the dealership (and Alex) to all our friends and family. He made the experience enjoyable and easy; when the time is right this is where we would like to purchase!
Exactly what youd want from a customer service experience, and more. During my many visits the entire staff handled my issues with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. I was kept informed every step of the process and treated like I, and my opinion, were valued. Steve Eiter and the mechanic staff, specifically Mac, are among the top customer service professionals Ive dealt with, concerning my vehicles. Thank you all very, very much!
I recently purchased a used vehicle at Sill-TerHar Mazda and had the pleasure of getting to work with Ryan McGehee. To start, the price on the vehicle was certainly a reasonable and straightforward price which I appreciated, but nevertheless Ryan was still willing and able to negotiate to the asking price I had in mind. His work manner was nothing short of extremely professional, and his promptness for communication was top notch. Upon arrival the vehicle was out front to immediately view and take for a test drive. Once finished we went inside to complete the paperwork, which when said and done really didnt take that long. To add additional extreme satisfaction, Ryan was also able to get the interest rate far lower than we anticipated due to used cars generally having higher interest rates. So thats worth any wait if you ask me. He literally not only delivered on every step of the process, but clearly went above and beyond to make sure to the best of his ability I left with the best possible outcome on every level. Sill-TerHar is without question lucky to have him on their team. To anyone shopping there, do yourself a favor and ask for Ryan McGehee. You will not regret it. Thanks for everything Ryan!
This is a fantastic dealership with great, no pressure salesmen. The service department is great and never lets me down. Ive never been disappointed coming here.
Bait and switch, dishonest and huge waist of time.My wife did a terrific job calling around and getting estimates to replace her tail light and windshield wiper reservoir. This dealership quoted us 650 which we thought was high but we were going to go with it. We scheduled the visit for 2 weeks out and confirmed theyd order the parts ahead of time so we could get in an out in a day.On the scheduled work day my wife shows up and they immediately tell her its going to be $800 plus tax because they didnt include all their base fees in the phone estimate. (DISHONEST). In addition they said they didnt order the parts ahead of time because thats not their policy and that theyd need to keep the car for an additional 3 days. Again, let me emphasize they wanted to keep the car 3 days to replace a tail light...To be clear, I understand sometimes you get into the work and see something thats going to cost extra, but they hadnt even touched the car yet... This was them demonstrating their bait and switch business model.Im proud of my wife for questioning the price increase. The lady behind the counter explained that the extra money was for the diagnostic fee but my wife reiterated, we know whats broken and this wasnt in the estimate. They then tried to say well were going to have to take the bumper off which is really expensive... when in reality its a 15 minute video on youtube. When we drove back to cancel and pickup they offered to reduce the price to the original estimate but said they couldnt guarantee their work. Again, what business cant guarantee a replaced tail-light... clearly thats a line they use every day with other upset customers. If these jokers cant guarantee their work replacing a tail light I dont want them anywhere near my car.Because of these clowns we waisted 2 weeks waiting and 3 hours of our morning driving back and forth.
I had an excellent car shopping experience with Sill-TerHar Mazda! I bought a used CX-5, and everything has worked out great. My salesperson was Paul Farrow, and he was absolutely fantastic. I didnt feel pressured into anything, and in fact he and other people at the dealership went out of their way to help me out.
I am very happy every time that I come to get work done at Sill-TerHar. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and professional. From oil changes all the way to replacing my bumper or fixing my media screen, I won’t go anywhere else. Very recently Jordan and Steve helped me with a difficult situation regarding my cracking touch screen and it is now in the best condition since I bought my CX-3. I highly recommend working with these professionals and I am glad to see them each time that I come in to get my vehicle serviced.
Two most recent oil change/tire rotation experiences. 1. Tires not rotated despite being included in price, lie on the phone about it. 2. Tires deflated to 21 psi (??!!) and sensor broken upon pick up. Not returning multiple phone calls.
Prerty helpful. Just too expensive. But it is a dealership so, you get what you pay for.
I used to dread taking my car in for service always having my husband or dad on standby to ensure the strong recommendations the dealership was making is necessary. But since Ive started going to Sil-TerHar Mazda that issue has been resolved. I have not once had to call my husband to double check if their recommendations are necessary. I have moved an hour away from this dealership and will continue to make the drive because of their incredible customer service.I would also like to point out that the people that work in service are incredibly kind and listen to all of my concerns. They always do a great job taking care of my car.I appreciate everyone at Sill-TerHar Mazda!
Best Mazda dealership ever. The service department is so amazing here, won’t ever being taking my car anywhere else for service!
This dealership requires you sign a contract to test drive one of their vehicles. This contract specifies that you are responsible for all damage during a test drive regardless of fault. Most dealerships insure their cars during test drives. At Sill-TerHar you are the insurance.
Bought my CX-5 from Sill-TerHar Mazda a few days ago. Couldnt be happier with the sales team (Alex and the team). They appraised my trade-in really fast and gave a decent offer. The purchasing process was smooth and fast. Definitely the best Mazda dealership in the Denver/Longmont/Fort Colins area.
I contacted regarding a 2021 Mazda3 and asked what other standard transmission vehicles they had, and stated that the transmission being a standard was thr most important thing to me. The salesman, Alex, told me that all of their Mazdas had standard transmissions, didnt know that manual and standard mean the same thing, and told me I wasnt looking for a manual, and then asked me about what trim package I wanted. Not someone that I would want to do business with.
Didnt get acknowledged by sales representatives until after 5 minutes of standing around even though we had an appointment set and they knew I was coming in advance. The salesman I worked with had the vehicle prepped and ready to test drive which was nice. However, he had no intention of making conversation or building a professional relationship with a customer willing to spend $30k on a vehicle. Told him over the phone I have a very specific budget that I cannot exceed and when he sat me down to go over financing he said Id be spending $32k and that there is no wiggle room. We then agreed this wasnt the right vehicle for me. However, instead of being a generous and ethical salesman and showing me options that were in my price range, he excused me from the dealership because it was time for him to go home. Ive worked in car sales and not once have I ever witnessed a customer get treated the way this man treated me. Will never step foot in a Sill Terhar dealer ever again.
I recently worked with Paul Farrow to purchase a used 2019 Mazda CX-5. The initial price of the vehicle was already very good (about $1,000 below KBB), but even so Paul was willing to negotiate an additional ~$1,000 in trade-in credit/discount. No deceptive sales tactics and no talk about monthly payments instead of out-the-door price, so already a great improvement over most dealers. My only gripe was the car smelled of cigarette smoke initially, but they were more than happy to offer a smoke bomb to neutralize the smell free of charge.
Great place to buy a car
I bought my first Mazda from Taylor McNamee. Not only was he friendly and personable, he was incredibly knowledgeable. There was no pressure whatsoever to buy! After my purchase, he offered for me to come back so he could show me the ins/outs of my new car. Taylor was AWESOME!! If you’re looking for a car, Taylor is your guy!
I would definitely never give them my business again. On 8/8/20, we went in to test drive & purchase a Mazda 3 we had our eye on. Hindsight being 20/20, we probably should have walked off the lot when the car wouldnt start (just needed a jump, but still...). Taylor took our credit apps and copies of our I.D.s and put them in his drawer to be looked at Monday by a manager before promptly shuttering me out of the building while waiting for my ride. I admit we are not a perfect credit profile, but that is no excuse for not hearing from them in almost three weeks. I called and left a message with a manager, inquiring about the purchase and our personal info sitting in a drawer - that message was never returned.Do yourself a favor and purchase from a dealership that takes customer service and holding of personal information seriously.
They reschedule my appointment then didnt log my reschedule into their computer. When I arrived, they didnt have me on the docket for the day. They did not apologize but instead said that I shouldnt have been scheduled that day because they are already booked. Not sure how that is my fault. They said they would squeeze me in.By 4pm I still hadnt heard from them so I called. They said my car has been ready and I need to come before they close. I scrambled to get a ride and arrived 20 minutes late. Thankfully, they were still there. They told me that they couldnt hear anything wrong with my suspension. I brought the car in for a battery replacement and because my wife hit a major pothole and I could hear damage to the suspension. They charged me for the battery and $150 to diagnose the suspension. They said im probably just hearing the noises of an old car and a car that needs an alignment. I was skeptical but I had no choice but to trust them.500-600 miles driven later and the car borderline undriveable. When I turn the wheel i hear a loud popping. When it is driving, it sounds like something is disconnected in the suspension. I call Mazda upset and after multiple phone calls I get the service manager, Steve. He is unsympathetic. My appointment was forgotten, squeezed in, and then never followed up with communication. Im questioning if they even reviewed my suspension. Steve will admit no possible negligence or apologize for my experience. He agrees to review my car again and waive the new diagnosis fee of $150. I take my car into the dealer and Viola! There is damage to my suspension. I need 2 new struts plus assembly kits. I also need new springs that connect. My one strut is completely broken. How was this missed? What did I pay them $150 for the first time? Was my car more damaged because they missed it the first time. All good questions to me that Steve is unwilling to answer. He will not put any admittance on record. He is more worried about saving a buck than saving what would have been a life-long customer for his shop and Mazda.Maybe I was just unlucky. Maybe a series of mistakes happened and it was a fluke. I could accept that. I cant accept how steve dealt with the situation.
Best customer service Ive experienced in a long time. People are genuinely friendly and helpful.
Bait and switch trick still alive and well here! Came in and specifically mentioned immediately upon arrival wanting to test drive the 2014 Honda CRV. Was informed the battery was dead but could be jump started and inspected. Tested a few other vehicles and EVERY TIME mentioned still wanting to test drive the car I drove 30 minutes to test (the CRV). After all that, initially I was refused to even let drive it until complaining, and even then was told it would be ready maybe in 20 minutes. Considering I mentioned at least 5 times over several hours wanting to drive it, VERY disappointing service and will be taking my business elsewhere.
Great experience purchasing my new CX-5! Alex, Troy and Shane worked hard to find a car to meet my budget and my wish list. Even when there was a bit of a confusion of cars in our negotiating process, they all handled things professionally and made sure I was walking out the door happy with what I wanted at the price I needed. They were definitely customer orientated In working with me.
What an amazing car sale experience! I want to give a shout out to Alexandra and Cole. Alexandra is just an awesome sales rep! She is extremely friendly and very fun to talk to about all things Mazda and other things. She walked me through everything and kept me up to date on what was happening. She also helped me get to know my new car before I left the lot. Cole did such a great job on helping me. He was very professional and relaxed. He did everything he could do to help me get into a new vehicle with the least amount of stress. If I had a question, Cole or Alexandra would answer no problem. I felt at the end that I had a great deal of confidence on my decision. If I could sum up the whole Mazda car experience at this dealership, I was smiling a lot on everything and was very excited. I really like this dealership. Now Im loving my new CX-5!!! Thanks Alexandra and Cole!!
I could not be happier with the service center at Sill TerHar Mazda. They know what theyre doing, do their best to get you in and taken care of. Even wash and vacuum the full car with an oil change. Everyone is so so nice.Ive been pleased every time Ive gone.
We love this dealership!! My wife and I had an incredible experience buying a our Mazda CX-9. Our sales rep Alexandra and the team were amazing! She was very knowledgeable, patient, and work hard to get us into the right vehicle for our family. Even our experience with Cole the finance manager was so enjoyable. Highly recommend this dealership!
Just bought a new CX-5 here. Had a great experience with the team of Paul, Shane and Cole. I always expect some sales pressure when buying a car, but they were all very professional and easy going. They worked with my wants and needs and was able to get me better financing terms than what I was already approved for. Id recommend car buying here and ask for Paul.
I get my CX5 serviced here. Am always treated well and have no complaint. The Miata was sitting outside this morning. Looks like a sweet little car. Charcoal grey s nove color for it.
I want to thank T.J for helping me get the best truck I couldve asked for. Also Howard Wirth, your a sad little person, how the hell are you gonna 1 star them because you had traffic. Im thrilled with my truck, and am very grateful for everything T.J went out of his way to do. Sorry for the outburst
We have been doing business with Jake T in the Mazda Service Dept for months with all of our cars and have always been impressed. The timeliness of the work, the quality and thorough explanation has been very consistent weather it was myself or my wife taking the vehicle in. We will continue taking our business here for maintenance or major mechanical issues, and I do recommend Jake and the service team to anyone needing reliable service.
Terrible experience! These guys replaced a small block on my Ford under warranty however within 1,300 miles same issue happened again . I figured they would take a look and see why . I dropped off my vehicle in oct and they gave me excuse after excuse trying to put me off ( hoping Id get frustrated and take it elsewhere) I was.I was asked multiple times if I wanted to pick it up since the wait was so long lol 6 months later I was called and told they are refusing to work on my vehicle I need to pick it up, they should have told me immediately! I was without a vehicle for 6 months ! I had to contact Ford motor company and they got me to omeara ford who had my truck fixed in weeks under warranty (thanks omeara!)I really thought I was going to have to use my lawyer since sil TER har refused to honor their own work. i kept all text and emails just in case.i would avoid this place at all cost ! It was a nightmare. I realize this is Mazda but same company .
Im not great with cars but I know how to do research. Prices for service are generally at the bottom of market average, everything theyve suggested I need to get done is issues I knew needed to be fixed, havent had them suggest things that werent an issue just to reach a bottom line. They seem very honest and attentive which is something I strongly appreciate. Pretty easy to get a loaner car, quick turnaround on appointments and easy to get appointments in within a short time frame.
I recently worked with Paul Farrow on buying a used car, and he was a pleasure to work with. I wasnt exactly sure what I wanted when I walked in, but Paul took the time to get to know my needs, my budget, and was patient as we sorted through all the options. Paul was honest, knowledgeable, and thorough, and has even called to check up on me and my new car weeks after my purchase was complete. The next time someone tells me they need a new car, I will send them straight to Paul.
The service team here is amazing, they take such good care of me and my car every time I come in. Ive had to take my car in for services (while out of town) and everyone always comments on what great condition its in, and I know that has a lot to do with these guys.
I experienced another prepaid service on my Mazda today, professional, prompt, and courteous are the standard. I feel my needs are important to the staff and wait times are effectively communicated and met. Well done!
Ive leased two Mazdas with Sill-TerHar Motors and I will continue to be their loyal customer. They have gone above and beyond to make leasing convenient and efficient. I’ve dealt with many dealerships over the years and I’ve only felt like I got a good deal when doing business with Sill-TerHar.I was especially impressed with how they handled things during the COVID-19 stay-at-home order. Tom Perales brought everything to my home, including three different cars to test drive for a full 24 hours each and all the paperwork. He even came back the next day to collect my old car and was very respectful and conscientious about social distancing. The sales team—and they really are a team—demonstrated collaboration and cooperation rather than competition with one another. I admire that. When Tom wasn’t available, Shane took my call and when Shane was off the clock, Troy returned my call. If they didn’t know the answer to a question, they promptly found out.Ive also had stellar experiences with the Sill-TerHar service department. They perform high-quality maintenance and repairs with the best customer service. They provided me with a fully loaded loaner car for a few days last summer as we waited for a special part to come in, and kept me informed every step of the way.Yet another reason I will continue to be a Sill-TerHar repeat customer is their commitment to building authentic relationships with their colleagues as well as their customers. Each individual I have worked with—from the receptionist to the sales team, to the service manager and technicians, all the way up to the finance managers—has treated me like a VIP.I’m grateful that there is at least one auto dealership in the area that operates from a place of integrity and authenticity. The people at Sill-TerHar Mazda not only support each other and their customers, but they serve and inspire the community with their spirit of solidarity, which can only make us stronger.
The sales manager was friendly and very reasonable in his negotiations. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the car (CX-5), and even detailed/cleaned the car himself for delivery. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a new Mazda.
Great service and friendly staff.
Shane lied to you. He never asked me to leave and I didnt get rude till he got in my face. I was in a customer parking space when it was picked up Im careful with a brand new Ducati, As well its your parking lot and your responsibility how its cared for. If itd been one of your cars bet youd have done something about it.I originally asked if there was help I could get, then dude came out as I was sitting in my truck already leaving. Ive bought 8 cars from here. You really think I wrote this lightly?Your manager is lying to your face. I live right down the street I literally can see the lot from my yard. Its your neighborhood hes trying to pick fights with. I got people who saw what happened, should I have them all post about it too.Clean your lots, its called the property liability law look into it the same reason you are required to shovel your walk when it snows that happens on your property its your responsibility.
Friendly and prompt service to repair my Mazda CX 5.
Love Sill-TerHar for all services& it is really helpful and convenient to have collision next door. I drive from downtown and it is worth it for me.
Wonderful customer service!Discovered that my car was leaking water inside near my rear view mirror about 6 months into leasing a Mazda CX-5. Brought my car in and they thought it was fixed, but as I was leaving the lot it started leaking again. They immediately took my car back in and took care of the issue and even filled up my tank while they were at it for the inconvenience. Meanwhile they gave me a loaner vehicle that was comparable to my own vehicle while mine was in the shop. Very friendly throughout the whole process.
First hwy 287 was closed due to an accident. Finally got on 120th then train blocked the grade crossing. Waited for 20 minutes train did move so returned to home. I decided I would not buy a car from them if it would be that hard to get the to the dealership. Dealership location is horrible. Will go to fort Collins
No greeting on entering. I waited over 5 minutes for someone to talk to me, even though several made quick eye contact, they walked away without even a someone will be right with you. No pamphlets of information on the cars for self-help, either. Felt like they were very new, or about to close up shop.
Great place. Good people. Honest service. Will be taking my car there again
Just bought my third Mazda so I can pass number two down to my daughter. Paul was great to work with and found exactly the Cx-5 I was looking for. This was easily the smoothest and fastest car buying experience of my life!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! My husband and I found ourselves in need of car after our last one blew a gasket (ouch). We had never financed a car before but the sales people (Paul and Paul) made it easy and fun. We love our new car and will keep coming back! Thank you!
Ive leased 2 brand new CX-5s here. Was great until yesterday. I went to leave my home for work on Monday 5.18.2020 @ 8:30am to find my 2020 CX5 with less than 2800 miles would not start. When I called Sill Terhar service directly, a woman in service told me Sorry I dont have anyone here to help you. There was no attempt to ask what it was or was not doing or to help.I immediately called Courtesy Mazda in Longmont. Not only did the gentleman trouble shoot everything with me on the phone and try to get my car started (which did not work), he assisted me with calling Mazda Roadside Assistance and my car will be taken there today for service.
Went in to get my car checked up because it was leaking oil. I was told that oil housing unit was bad, and the turbo was covered in oil and it needed to be replaced. I was given an estimate and the total bill was $300-$400 more than what the estimate was. When asked about the difference, I was told that there are parts that couldnt be used and needed to be replaced. Logically if that was the case and if the dealer knew that then why was it not included in the estimate? Anyhow, irate about the price differential, I left the dealership.3-4 weeks later, since getting the new turbo the engine still sounded like it was struggling the same way it sounded when I left their lot. I called and left multiple voicemails with the service department. No one bothered to contact me, so I took the car in to have them take a look at it. This is a month and a half after I got a new turbo. After taking two days to look at my car, they concluded that my car had an engine failure and the engine needed to be replaced and it would cost me $10,000 after I just paid $3,500 for the turbo. I’m just beyond words, the engine sounded fine a month ago, it all started acting up right after I got a new turbo put in. I’m not a car mechanic and I relied on these guys for their honest opinion. I feel like I was just taken advantage of, especially when I was sold an brand new turbo for a car with a failing engine.I feel that a test drive after putting a new turbo would of allowed for the tech to diagnose that the engine was bad. I will never go to back to this dealership and I will never recommend anyone to go here.
We have purchased two cars from Sil TerHar Mazda. We were pleased with or experience each time and intend to come back when we need another car. Our experience with the maintenance service has always been great. Today, they offered a complimentary wash and vacuum. They have recently partnered with a local car wash group that was on site today. Purchasing and maintaining my cars is always a source of anxiety for me. Sil TerHar Mazda has made both experiences much easier.
The salesman literally yawned the entire time during the test drive and refused to let us ride with the original guy we were talking with who we actually liked and who would have likely actually gotten the dealer a sale.He also had no idea about the features of the vehicle. Id ask if it had something, hed say yes, Id try it during the test drive and it wouldnt work and he would respond with I guess not -- very helpful, thanks for lying to try and get a sale.Terrible practice.
Tomas took care of all my questions and concerns regarding my CX-5. There was some funny business with one of the dash indicators. He and the tech investigated, and provided a very clear explanation and fix.
I havent had any issues with Sill-Terhar Mazda after two years of Mazda service. They have always been accommodating and had loaned a car to me during an especially long warranty service. I think prices are mostly competitive.
Great experience! Josh and Tom helped me get into a safe vehicle. Thank you both!
Cole G. helped find the perfect car for me. He was extremely accessible, friendly, and helpful in answering my myriad questions (both during the shopping process, and after I got the car). I went with a Mazda 3 after test driving many different brands. Its smooth enough to make long-distance highway drives comfortable, and its zippy and maneuverable enough to easily get around Los Angeles. I havent had a single problem with the car and I bought it months ago. Ill definitely go back to Sil-Terhar when its time for my next car!
Weve purchased two cars from here and have had service plans from both. Everything is always done well, communication is great, and people are friendly. No regrets.
Ive always felt that using the dealers maintenance department was the best choice to ensure the longevity of a vehicle.Yet with this dealer Ive been convinced otherwise, I make an appointment to get maintenance done, drop off my vehicle and tell them I need it by a certain hour(which they agreed to) (I have to attend to tasks where people rely on me to be there to pick them up...) And I come in at the time agreed upon for pickup only to find my vehicle hasnt moved, hasnt been worked on...The managers response was its a glitch in the system.I work on computers and software for a living, and computers do what the user tells them to do. They dropped the ball and felt the need to boldly lie to my face.Exceptionally poor customer service, exceptionally poor integrity, leads to my guaranteed no longer using their service.A dealer is only as good as their service arm. This dealer lacks integrity, organisation, and ethics.Steer clear, literally.
Special Thanks to Ryan, sales person with who I worked there . Unfortunately, I had to get my new car from an other dealer, but i admire the effort put by Ryan and his effort to get my deal. He is a definite gem for the company.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Wrote a negative review a few years about how poorly they treated a longtime customer, and the review seems to have been removed? Basically their service department dropped the ball numerous times, the most recent regarding a set of tires we bought from them for our CX9 that wore out in under 10K miles. While they were willing to sell us the tires, they werent willing to stand behind them wearing out prematurely.
Really disappointed with how we were treated as we were trying to buy a new Mazda from these guys. They offered a deal to get us into the store that they had no intention of making good on. After having my time wasted I’ll be happy to take my business elsewhere.
Last few visits to the service department have been incredibly frustrating, expensive and not very helpful. Last visit, took my wifes 3 to get the rattling brake pads fixed. 2 weeks and $250 later the sound returned. Being unable to return the car because we need to get to work, and having some experience working on cars, I ended up fixing it permanently myself. Only cost me $50. Having trouble understanding why it was so costly just to grease the back of the pads, not even replacing anything. Today, Im picking up my Mazdaspeed 3 that has been in the shop for a week now because the turbo seals are leaking and the timing chain is noisy. I will now be forking over another $130 just for the tech to tell me burning 3 quarts of oil in 900m is normal. Its not normal sir, its the turbo seals just like I said.. Our family have been long time customers and needless to say, will be taking our business elsewhere. Get some techs that know your product and Ill consider returning.
Terrible place. Gave me one price after appraising my car, then next day knock 2k off that because they quote didnt see the scratch --- even though we discussed it with the appraiser. They assumed I couldnt read or count and tried to convince me I was getting the price I wanted because that was the amount being financed. (Hello, you got a brooklyn bridge you want to sell me too or what?) Knocked 1k off the price, but then yet again knocked my appraisal down another 1k. This was their stellar deal. Plus, the manager sat in his office (alone) while his minions scurried back and forth between us, couldnt deign to speak to me in person apparently. I wonder would that have been the same had I been a male? What do you think, ladies?? (And I was there alone.) Wasted my time in the most gimmicky obvious and laughable way possible. Dont waste your time. Remarkably sleazy, even among car dealers.
Great experience as always!
I bought a used FJ Cruiser from these guys. They close at 8, I couldnt get there until 7. Paul, and Shane were easy to deal with. No pressure, and very helpful! We finished at 10. Overall, a very positive experience!
Very nice car buying experience. Great service and relatively painless negotiation. Thanks to Paul and Ryan!
After looking at so many cars I happened upon Sil Terhar Mazda, Paul F was helping me out and did wonderfully. I never once felt pressured and he answered all of my questions. Thank you for all of your help, I’ll definitely be recommending him!
Just leased a CX5 from Sill-TerHar and was helped by Paul Farrow. Couldnt be happier with the service I received. He got me a very fair price and was very thorough during the entire process. General manager and finance manager were also great. Overall A+ experience.
Shopper Beware! Took my little Mazda 3 in because check engine light was on and AM radio did not work. They immediately charge you $129 for a diagnostic fee; understandable if that goes towards fixing it should I choose to have them do the work. All it was, was a purge valve. They charged me $130 for the part and an additional $90 for install on top of the $129 already owed, totalling $350. Went home and ended up finding the part online was $80 and there was a 4 minute YouTube video on how to replace it. Seems unethical to charge so much for something so simple. Then after an hour of searching they couldnt fix the radio and needed to keep looking but for an additional $129. They charge a diagnostic fee but never diagnosed anything. After paying 2nd fee, they said it was simply unplugged from antenna and they reattached it. So to plug my antenna back in I was charged $260. All in all I was out $640. It is very clear these people are ok with taking advantage of someone who doesnt know cars and charging them whatever they want. This is very unethical and I will never be going back or even buying a Mazda again.
While I love the car itself (Mazda CX3) I have been so disappointed in the communication of the staff. We have issues all along the way and had to make numerous calls to get things rectified. The issues started with getting service for the apple CarPlay install (wanted to charge me for what we negotiated initially, and then they damaged the dashboard, which happens but it has been a month and its still not fixed-we had to call again yesterday to follow-up), to them not filing my title info. correctly causing me to have to make extra calls to get it straightened out. Getting them to return calls has been difficult and frustrating. I would buy a Mazda again but not from this dealership.
Went into get a trade in value on my truck. We never even got to talk numbers because the person appraising my vehicle was so extremely rude. He tried bullying me into buying a vehicle that night. His words why would I appraise your vehicle if your not going to drive away in a Mazda tonight. Never been treated so poorly at a dealership. I asked who the manager was and he claimed he was. after calling back for his info to write the actual manager. I found out he was not a manager at all he was just a digital sales person. McDonald Mazda Im on my way over hope you do better then Sil-TherHar.
The sales mangaer Shane was both helpful and handsome 💙💜💚❤❤💚💜💙
They were quick with the service but we had to wait 6mos + to get the parts for the 3 recalls.....😖👎
After looking around at a few different car manufacturers I settled on a Mazda CX-5 for my first ever brand new car. The people at Sill-TerHar were by far the nicest and easiest to work with of everyone I spoke to. Tom and Cole make a great team and I highly recommend them. This is not the closest Mazda dealership to my home but I will be taking my vehicle here for service; they’ve really earned my trust through the buying process. Thanks to everyone at Sill-TerHar Mazda for making my first new car purchase a memorable one for all the right reasons!!
Jake, Service Advisor at Sill-TerHar Mazda has been absolutely fantastic. He is very friendly, patient and timely. It was a great first service experience for me and I will definitely continue to choose Jake and Sill-TerHar Mazda for all my 2016 Mazda CX-5 needs moving forward!
Thought we were in for a decent experience here until they jacked around and didnt send correct funds to the state for sales tax and fees, called and they overnighted funds... but yet again not the correct amount. Called and left messages were promised prompt and overnight funds but funny how over night is almost 2 weeks late. We had to pay the state the remaining balance so we were not charged a fine since they were due. what a joke. we will definitely be contacting an attorney and NEVER recommending or shopping with this outfit again! And will be sure to file a complaint with the BBB.
I live right next to them and they are always very nice they have great staff and are very helpful they definitely live up to whatever needs you need or want.
Best collision center, the guys do fantastic work.
Very helpful staff helped my Son get a great deal on a new car.
Firstly the staff working seemed friendly and nice. I came for servicing for my vehicle on 20th September for a diagnosis and oil change. After a few hours the staff came to address a few problems on my vehicle since my purchase on April. Immediately I askedto resolve the issues without regarding the price, as they are Mazda dealership and knows best among Mazda cars. Having my oil changed and air filter changed plus alignment with tire rotation the bill jumped up, since they did great care I have no problem as long as my car runs great. Upon finishing my service one of staff mentioned my front and rear shocks and struts needed to be changed but cant be done today cause they are not in stock. With cool and calm mind I said how about next week? He replied it might take longer than a week for items to reached here. With quote for prices and went back home.So I dropped off my vehicle yesterday for all issues to be solved and taken care off. The next day in the morning I received a call that prices given was only for rear shock and struts, also the order for parts has not been placed. I tried talking to them but kept undermining me. If you make mistake own up to it, not by stating some random things blaming the computer.I was very furious with the staff why the price went up? I dont really mind paying money to fix my car as I considered it as investment. But given price qoute and forced to pay up a totally different higher amount. Seeing our hard earned money and time going to waste doesnt sit right by anyone.Long in long just be honest with customers.
I was shown only the car I wanted to see. Paul Farrow talked to his boss and got us the exact price we had planned within 1 hour. No nonsense, no pressure. He was a delight to work with. He had useful advice and knew the vehicle inside and out. The Mazda 6 isnt a super common vehicle. His understanding out classed many dealers I had visited in the past month. He earned my business through professionalism and honesty. The manager Shane Gilmore was a no nonsense kind of guy as well. Helpful when needed, but not pushy in the least. We walked away from the deal, came back 10 minutes later to accept and not once did he or Paul try to force anything. When we came back in, they were both as polite and nice as the first time.Dani Schwartz came over and scheduled installation of tint and bra before I even thought to ask. She was super nice and ensured I was able to make the date. She even set up an early drop off and a loaner.Alisha Klemzer was great to talk to. I have never met someone in finance so positive and personable. She showed me the options 20 times over and did not get frustrated at my flurry of questions.Overall I had an enjoyable experience. We visited 6 or 7 other Mazda dealers. We looked at 2 Kia, 3 Chevy, a Ford, a Hyundai, toyota, Subaru and a Nissan dealership. This crew was great.
Their services are way overpriced ($75 for an oil change) and the staff can be rude and abrupt at times. They could care a less about your issues. There are times where I have to call multiple times before I can get somebody on the phone and thats during normal business hours. The only reason I go to them is that they are only Mazda experts Im aware of in the Broomfield area.
Thanks Destinee Schwartz for all your help with my service on Friday... your service people are wonderful.
My boyfriend and Is experience with sill-terhar was absolutely phenomenal! everyone was so kind and caring and they really pushed for us to get into the vehicle we wanted! we both had some blemishes on our credit, but that didnt stop them for fighting for us. I cannot say how amazing they made the car buying process, it was so stress free and easy. While we were waiting another employee actually sat down with my parents who are in the market for a luxury car, and spent extensive time going over what cars were out there and helping them compare...Not to mention they said they would actually order in a custom car if need be. Paul was great too, any questions we had about the car mechanically (which most sales men look at you with blank faces) or other wise he could answer and did happily. Paul actually helped us set up our Bluetooth when we got the car, let us know about our roadside assistance and they even called a few weeks after we got the car to make sure everything was still going great. I would 150% recommend Sill-TerHar to anyone looking for a car. Especially if you want a stress free and copasetic experience.
I dont normally write reviews but after being treated like I am dumb and I wouldnt notice I figured I would give yall a heads up before taking tour car there.1st I had my oil changed about 3months ago at quick lane... They were supposed to rotate my tires and didnt. They stripped my oil drain plug and over inflated my tires. So I let that go and had another mechanic change my oil after that.2nd my Mazda had a to have the rear end rebuilt and a new transmission put in and because it was under warranty I HAD to take it there to have the issues fixed. I get my car back and the tire sensor light was on and they proceeded to tell me that my tire went flat due to a bad vavle stem. Wrong( there is a nail in my tire) so they replaced the valve stem with 1 that doesnt have the sensor in it. ( They tried to make it seem like they did me a favor)They broke the original 1 and replaced it with the cheapest they had, in hopes that I wouldnt notice considering the light came on after I left the service center. Now I have to replace all 4 tires instead of just 2 like I was told over the phone.Dont ever buy from them or have your car serviced there.Just saying. You people are bs and will lie to make a dime off the little guys in life. They dont care about people unless you are a millionaire
Rudest service counter experience ever! Mazda service is tough in general because they dont stand behind their products, but this place is the pits. I asked for an ECU reflash for a known issue and to see if my clutch was going out on a 4 year old car. They quoted $260 just to diagnose and wouldnt even respect me as a repeat customer because they couldnt spell my last name correctly. Super rude girl behind the counter had absolutely no interest in helping me. Last time I was in, they were swamped and I figured she was being rude because they were so busy...nope, shes just mean.Update...I drove up the highway to Courtesy Mazda and got treated like a human and they FIXED my issues for HALF the price of what Sill-TerHar wanted just for diagnosis!Shady establishment x 2 experiences plus most every review you can search.AVOID.
Just went to test drive the CX5 &CX9, and had such an amazing experience!! I have gone to this dealership before to test drive the CX6 and had the same awesome customer service! Sean Lashway is a great salesman who understands how people want to be treated! He wasnt overly pushy but let you know the incentives and how great they are! Personally Im not ready financially for a car yet but definitely plan on going back and making a sale with him! 😊
We purchased a used Mazda from here in August, and while our initial appointment and sales crew were kind and helpful, the rest of the experience was inconvenient and frustrating. While working with financing, we were initially quoted on a rate and signed papers, but were called again to be informed that the math was wrong, and we did not in fact qualify for that rate. I get it, pre approvals arent set in stone, but we were HORRIBLY misquoted for the rate. What was MORE frustrating about this was we had to return not once, but TWICE to resign paperwork for the new loan. The first was no big deal, I was annoyed, but understanding. The second time we had to return because they forgot to have us sign another paper at the previous appointment.Next, with titling, the process has been PAINFULLY slow. We have YET to receive our paperwork to complete the plating process for our car, which we learned, unfortunately, today after we had already stood in line at our local DMV, only to learn that the dealership has STILL not sent over the appropriate information. Temporaries expire in seven days, plenty long enough to get this figured out.The waste of time and frustration this place has caused is ridiculous. I will never refer my friends here. They need some major process improvements, and I am sorry, but buying me a tank of gas does not make up for the lack of efficiency that a dealership should have.
Terrible service staff. I had recall work scheduled for which I had received an appointment confirmation. Somehow they lost that appointment. They made no acknowledgement of the error on their side and made no effort to rectify the situation.
Could not be happier! Great deal, great folks, great experience.
We purchased a new car from Sil Ter Har Mazda this month. The entire experience, from start to finish, was chaotic and lackluster. We located the exact car we wanted from their online inventory and arrived to purchase it 1 hr prior to them closing, hoping that would speed the process up (no such luck). Here is the rundown of our experience. Hopefully it was unusually poor, but I wouldnt know because it is the first and last time we will buy here.1) Customer service gave us the wrong hours for the sales department and they were closed when we planned to visit, creating a delay of several days from when we wished to complete the purchase (over a weekend)2) We arrived at the correct location (Sil Ter Har Mazda) and were met outside by a gentleman who may have been a salesperson (could not tell and he didnt clarify) and told us the car we wanted wasnt on the lot (it was, as we found out later) and sent us to the Ford/Jaguar dealership across the street...3) While at the Ford dealership, I used the restroom. It was over the top ridiculous, with black granite countertops, mood lighting, and black toilets. Contrast with the Mazda restrooms, which were straight out of a Shell Service station. White painted plywood, white toilet and a small white sink sticking out of the wall -- the contrast was beyond annoying -- maybe just put in moderately nice restrooms at ALL of your dealerships, not gaudy at some and disgusting at others...?4) A FORD salesman escorted us personally back to Mazda and found us a (different) salesperson who pulled the car around and gave us a test drive. He was fine. The only annoying thing about him was that he was over-the-top ON and schmoozy while interacting with us, which was really weird since we came to buy a specific car and were only looking for glaring deficiencies (which we didnt find -- but, I looked harder than I would have because he was so schmoozy I started to feel like he was pulling a fast one on us).5) The buying process was interminably long and it took almost an hour to talk the guy out of selling us the extended warranty (extending the warranty from 3 to 7 years) which we dont need because we will be trading in the car in less than 3 years... Which I told him, and he finally stopped.6) New touch screens which were so large there was nowhere to put your arms, causing the cursor to jump wildly around the screen and select various buttons at random. Also slowed down the process because the finance guy wasnt very experienced at using the new screen.7) We already had a loan set up that we were happy with, but the guy convinced my fiance to sign about 20 different credit request forms so he could find us a better rate which backfired miserably because the 2.49% rate we had through USAA was later declined due to what looked like 20 applications for credit in 1 day...8) Finally, he got us to come in on a Friday night to sign more forms in person -- we waited for almost an hour while the guy was setting up financing for 2 other customers and nobody else knew how to print the forms that he supposedly needed to sign in person -- seriously? It is 2017 and we already spent hours last week signing forms for you. Loans can be made BY PHONE -- how shady is it to make someone drive back to your dealership a week after buying a car to sign forms in person on a Friday night, then leave them standing in the lobby for an hour, THEN ask them to leave and come back again on Saturday because you are just too busy to print the forms ...?Our entire buying experience was chaotic, disorganized, and slightly shady from start to finish.I do not recommend buying from Sil Ter Har Mazda. The Ford guys seemed perhaps more organized and knowledgeable, however!
