Ask for Matt!!!Rockstar technician, friendly, helpful and honest. He went above and beyond. I get that some people feel like you get what you pay for at Walmart. I couldn’t have been happier with the service. Please give this guy credit, it is well deserved and you can’t afford to lose him as an employee. Thanks again brother!
I recently brought in a new set of wheels and snow tires to be mounted, balanced and installed on the car while taking back the current summer tire and wheel setup I had on the car. I drive Uber so having an additional wheel and tire setup for winter is easier for me. The customer service here was the worst experience I have ever had. Apparently, the tech had misunderstood what I had asked for (even though I had told another worker to remind him before he started) and mounted the new snow tires on the old wheels. When I tried to confirm if he had performed the task I had asked for (an easy one at that) before paying, he became furious and extremely rude. He tried to argue that I did not mention anything about the new wheels even though I did and they were in huge boxes labeled WHEELS right behind the tires in the trunk. He even tried to argue that wheels are not the same things as rims. After being extremely aggressive in taking back my key and throwing papers around, he stormed off back into the garage to perform the task I had asked for in the first place. I should also mention that he yelled at another customer after being aggressive towards me for asking about a simple battery group code for his vehicle. After waiting another hour (this whole ordeal took a total of 2.5 hours) he finally finished the job and very aggressively charged me. To make matters worse, when I got home I realized that there were no weights on the wheel and tire setup in the trunk meaning they completely skipped the balancing portion of the install. Now I have to take it back in to get it balanced. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. The Big O Tire across the street is much better.
While the customer service was great in trying to mount some tires that I brought in, thats where it ends. They committed to being able to mount them and then spent nearly 2 hours to conclude that their equipment couldnt handle the task. That was all fine, and they didnt charge anything as they couldnt do the job. On the drive home, the tire pressure light came on and slowly was dropping. After looking at the tire at home, they had left out the valve core, all that was holding the air in the tire was the cap. I mean seriously? Talk about a safety risk....
Been in here twice to get a tire patched up and theyve been great both times and only cost $10. It is first come first serve so Id highly recommend giving them a call to see how long the wait is.The tire/auto shop is around the back side of Walmart, enter in through the west side to get there faster.
Although understaffed, Matt and his team went above and beyond for me. I got an oil change here and it was fast and efficient. It was hard to get a hold of them by phone, so showing up in person is recommended- there may be an appointment schedule to follow though. Hope this is helpful.
Reasonable prices for oil change
Online it says they open at 7am but actually they open at 8am. Please update your hours!
The service techs are friendly, though no very attentive to the service desk. The biggest hindrance is Wal-Marts internal system. It added another 1.5 hours to my entire duration because their system only registered 1 tire when they had all 4.
Well above and beyond great service
We took our vehicle in to follow up on a manufacturer warranty on a tire. The tech was rude and wouldnt inspect the tire or acknowledge that we had a road hazard warranty as well as the warranty that comes with purchase on said tire. He said that the warranty wouldnt cover the damaged tire, even though there was no inspection done. We had to go to a different store, who helped out without any issue. I will think twice before any further tire purchases from wal mart.
Excellent.
Affordable, but thats where it ends. When I walked in, there were only two people ahead of me, but it took them FOREVER to work through the line. I came in for an oil change and was told it would be an hour and that they would call me when it was done (because I left the building). After two hours, I had to call them because I hadnt heard anything, only to be told that my car had been done and that they already called me (except that they didnt). When I came back in, all three employees at the desk were so busy talking that it took them a moment to even address me. I appreciated the cheap oil change, but I was not especially impressed with the staff.
Always have a pretty good experience. The best deal is to get your tires here and then have them rotated when you have your oil changed. Also, they install wipers, batteries air filters and anything else they sell for free. I just got a full-synthetic oil change, new battery, tires rotated and some shopping done all at the same time.
Came in for a simple oil change. Guy working under my car pointed out a few concerns on my front end. He even let me go under the car so I could see for myself. Took it in to a mechanic and was able to save a lot of money on doing simple maintenance rather than waiting for it to go out. Awesome customer service
I am a regular to this place but lately they have become terrible. Two times in a row they have screwed me over.1. They broke the plastic on the lever to open the hood and did not even bother to inform me. I found out about it several days after and I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and let it go.2. Recently I took my car to change oil and they have clearly filled windshield wiper fluid in my coolant reservoir. Now I understand that they never open the coolant reservoir but I am pretty sure I never filled windshield fluid in it and now when I open to top off the fluid, I see all windshield fluid. I called them and they did not even offer to have a look at it. This is a honest mistake anyone could make. It was easy to fix and all they had to is flush the system and fill the anti-freeze. But the person was so rude on the phone and refused to consider their mistake.Never taking my car to these guys ever again. Be careful guys if you care about your car, DONOT take it to these guys.
Tried to call the number listed on Google, the woman who answered was very rude and said that we needed to call the main number which she spit out way to fast for anyone to write down without even asking if we were ready to write it down. Please update your listing and ask your employees to learn some manners and customer service. Its not our fault that no one has corrected the number in Google. A number by the way that says walmart tire and lube when you call. Once we finally got the write number and was able to reach the correct department (15 minutes later after calling the wrong number twice and sitting on hold) the girl in tire and lube was very helpful and polite but I am sure she has to deal with a lot of pissed off people after they have to jump through a million hoops to reach the department.
I walked in with a dead battery that I wanted to replace, and the service was almost TOO fast. I was probably in and out of there in under 5 minutes, and never had to ask a question. I was told where to put the dead battery as I walked in the door and told the correct size for the replacement even before I finished putting the dead one down. Very fast and friendly service. Honestly not at all what I expected when I walked into Walmart.
The workers were nice however not helpful. I ordered tires online and went in to get them put on. My first morning there I spent an hour and a half to find out they couldn’t change the tires because a lug nut was stripped and they didn’t have the tool to change it (come to find out they stripped it). After I went to a full service shop to have the lug nut replaced, I spent another hour and a half back at Walmart to find out they again couldn’t change them because the other lug nuts were on too tight. I took my tires to big o tires and they got the lug nuts off right away with no problem. I wasted 3hrs and some stress because of Walmart’s inability to help me and not let me know this all at once. One last thing, they don’t even have a manager so the second morning they opened 10 min late and told me she wasn’t sure if a technician would be in that morning because of scheduling issues...
Super fast service at a good price. Very nice staff as well!!
I went for an oil change because they were one of the only places still open after 5. The estimated wait time was an hour and a half, which seemed excessive for a simple oil change, but I walked around and got groceries to kill the time.I returned to the auto center and am told by an associate that theyve done nothing to the car because the hood latch is broken. I insisted that the latch was fine because I had lifted the hood just hours earlier to check the oil, and there had been no problems. The associate maintained that they had done nothing and that the latch problem was pre-existing. I disagreed, and much to my frustration nothing came of it.In addition to damaging my car, they neglected to call me once they realized that they were not going to be able get any work done, causing me to waste an hour of my life inside of a Walmart. This fact also had no effect on the associate. To make my experience somehow even more inexcusable, once I was home I was able to lift the hood of the car in about 15 seconds. All it took was a phone flashlight and some elbow grease, even after they had broken the latch. I am not a car-savvy person. I simply cannot comprehend the ineptitude of these auto technicians.Do not, under any circumstance, go to this Walmart Auto Center.
I called them yesterday to set up an appointment for an oil change. They said they dont take appointments but will be open during normal hours. Fine, no problem. Normal hours are 7-7 M-F, I show up at 715 before work. Doors are locked no one is around. I call multiple times w/ no answer and see a lady walking in there so I call again. She picks up and says they open at 10 and hangs up. I go in an speak w/ the Asst Mgr of the entire store who says he knows nothing about it and walks away.
I did oil change here. They kept oil cap remain open and handed over car to me. I got to know after one day.Guys please be serious you are playing with our life.
This is probably the best Wal-Mart overall I’ve ever shopped at. I live right across the street so it’s the most convenient place to shop and thankfully it’s never super crazy busy like almost every other Wal-Mart I’ve ever shopped at. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact, it’s still Wal-Mart and everyone know Wal-Mart management as whole has a lot to be desired. Also, there tends to be a few associates that miss the forest for the trees as my son was shopping here and because he had a bag they literally summoned EVERYONE in the store to follow him (into the grocery chip section btw) to make sure he wasn’t “stealing.” They were rude and aggressive and I thought to myself “what a waste of time and energy” asa slick theif could easily run in and out with something in electronics while being “distracted” by some kid with a bag BUYING some 1.99 bag of chips! This is a great example of how stupidly some organizations run and lose money because they pinch a penny while letting the dollar fly out the window so to speak! There’s also a few creepy associates that always act suspicious of customers and it’s annoying becuase sadly everyone know the policy that Walmart corporate puts on their stores that they can basically do NOTHING and have to allow people to walk out even though they know they’re stealing!Overall, while this store is pretty awesome in comparison to almost every other Wal-Mart out there, corporate Walmart still has a lot of work to do to truly clean up their organization as a whole.
Customer Service needs a lot of improvement. I usually come here for my oil changes and its satisfactory. However, today I left because the female staff member working was rude, condescending and defensive with me. I wont be back because of this.
It took a while to change my headlights, but it only cost me $15. It was impressive.
I got an oil change here and when they put everything back together, they jammed one of the covers into my air conditioner fan. I didnt realize it until the summer. It cost me $300 to fix.
I have all my oil changes done here on 2 vehicles. One has very low mileage so oil change is not very frquent but the oithger is a limousine ., which is a very high mileage vehicle so I have an oil change done frequently. The staff are always very courteous and friendly and do a very good job with the vehicles. They check everything except brake and collant levels, clean the windows and put air in tires where needed.Ive been usinbg this particular Walmart Auto Center for over 3 years and never had a problem.
Best Walmart Tire place for their exclusive sales department
Went to buy 4 tires and an oil change the blonde in their act like I was bothering her decided to go somewhere else since they have too many customers and apparently dont like customers that buy too many things lol
Took 2 hours to replace tires, was told it would take 1 hour, and quote was not honored.
Very helpful and friendly.
Great service and prices for Tires
I waited in line 5 - 10 minutes to be helped. Three employees looked my way but no one approached to help. They just carried on as if I wasnt there. I never get served. Never going back there.
Very helpful for finding batteries
So many employees but not enough help? Waited 3 hours for an oil change yet it was still messed up
Great service crew
Quick.
Thanks for screwing me over in the long run with poor installation of a battery, OF ALL THINGS! 170 down the drain.
Good place
