I had two places of damage to my 2018 Chevy Traverse. Geico directed me to the nearest body shop to my house that they worked with, which happened to be Gerber at this location. I was very happy with the work they did on the areas of damage but also very surprised to see that they had buffed and washed the car as well as cleaned out the inside. I will be taking any future body work here from now on.

They were able to fix my issue, for a reasonable price. My car is an older car, so they understood that I didnt want to spend a lot of money on it. They gave me an estimate, and I elected to not fix one item.I know this is how repair shops work, bill a standard number of hours for labor based on a repair code. But, my repair took about 15-20 minutes of somebodys spare time,,and i was billed for about an hour. Not a huge deal, as I know these things even out for a repair shop over time, and my repair was not terribly expensive, but it just seems odd...I have used this shop before, and I would use them again.

Seriously, these guys and ladies are the best. The are so kind and on top of things. I would highly recommend them. They kept me up to date through text on every part of my repairs. They have actually done 4 of my personal vehicles and 2 of my delivery vans. Every time it came out unreal. Like new. If I had a wreck in New York, i would have it towed back here to these folks.

Did not appreciate the coy employee who took my call. There are basic questions anyone can ask regarding replacement of a side view mirror come on!!! Staffer felt it convenient to waste consumers time via a trip to their location by avoiding simple quotes for specific items over the phone...NOT holding them to any dollar amount.I should have been given the courtesy of a simple quote for the price of a side view mirror...really simple! Needless to say, they lost a great customer and Cherry Glass Company gained a new faithful client - due to their Great customer service!

The dent repair and rear bumper replacement on our 2016 Subaru Outback was perfect and perfection is difficult to obtain. The car was returned fully detailed including tire treatment. Could not be more satisfied. Customers forever.

I was satisfied at first because they finished earlier then promised but later on that day I ran into issues after picking up my wifes car. I wasnt able to get the fuel door open when I went to fuel up. After an hour of trying to figure it out I was able to find the electrical connector hanging out of the door panel right below the door panel they worked on. I had to fix that electronic fuel door switch and I am not happy.

As sad as Im to say this is my second collision that Ive had to bring my repairs to Gerber for, Im happy to say their service and my experience has been smooth, quick and they handle all the back end insurance stuff. The front desk person, Nicole, was professional and managed the crowd of people on a busy Monday morning. The employees introduced themselves, shook my hand, and took good care of me. I was in and out. No hassle. Thats what a good customer experience should feel like. Also, they guarantee their work for life, so if anything goes wrong, I can go back.

I did Geico repair on front bump at this place back in 2018, recently I found the inner liner around the passenger side front wheel was broken due to loosen/missing screws, Gerber people replaced the liner for free. A little surprise to me since its almost 2 years.

Had to get a new tail gate handle and I chose Gerber to get the part painted, and from the second I walked through the door Russ helped take care of everything! They offered fair prices, fast work, and it came out looking fantastic. They matched the paint color to my 18 year old pickup perfectly! I recommend this place for any body work! Great job guys! My insurance towed my car here (possible dead battery in this heat) and dropped it off the truck before I could stop them. My car wouldn’t start that’s all, it wasn’t in an accident and the glass was intact therefore my Jeep never should have been brought here to begin with. However, despite this fact they were all amazing! They went out and tried to get it started and we’re extremely helpful and kind. Being alone, from out of state, and it being on a holiday weekend I really really appreciate their help. Top notch professional service all the way!

I had a wonderful experience with Gerber Collision in Chandler. I was rear ended and Gerber was recommended to me by American Family Insurance. From the moment I walked in and the young ladies at the front desk greeted me with smiles to the very end when I picked up my car, I was treated well and taken care of. Tim was my estimator and he too was amazing. He kept me well informed on the progress of the repairs, and provided impeccable customer service throughout the entire process - and the car looked terrific after it was done! Recently scheduled to have some repairs completed here after an accident, on my drop-off day they were backed up with work and had to send my vehicle to their location on Broadway Rd to have the repairs completed and then arranged to have it brought back for pick-up. (No big deal, Gerber is Gerber)Nicole was really awesome every time I spoke with her whether on the phone or in-person, she was attentive and kind even when she was clearly a bit swamped with a busy lobby of customers.Unfortunately I think that Susan could use a little refresher on how to speak to people....Had a pretty unpleasant exchange with her over the phone when my vehicle was ready for pick-up. If it werent for that, id have given 5 stars.

The customer service at the Chandler location was wonderful. I liked that they kept me up to date by text (an option) on how my vehicle was doing. I got hit by two different people and they dealt with payment from both companies. They also helped me secure a rental car. I felt that my car was in good hands and they cared for me as well. My husband and I went to go look at it (before they opened so he could get to work) in the early morning and they had it locked behind a gate. Something that was a bummer at first but I loved that my car was safe overnight. I am a very picky customer so I believe the best review I could give to a company is I would return and I would recommenced them. They definitely deserve both from me.

I havent had an experience with a body shop in over 15 years. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service I received from my collision coordinator as well as the GM Russ. About a week after i picked up my car, there was an issue that went unseen during the initial repair. Russ didnt hesitate to fix the problem and work with the insurance company on my behalf to cover the cost. Overall, great experience!

Do not use this body shop. They do not do quality work. I had my brand new 2019 Camry rear ended and brought it into Gerber Mesa. It took them 3 weeks to repair a bumper. When I attempted to pick up the car after the first time I was told it was ready it was not. I walked around the car with the GM and showed him how bad the orange peel was on the painted bumper they tried to put it on me saying we will fix it to make you happy. Never did they take ownership of the issue. The orange peel was so bad you could feel the paint was uneven. I was told to give them a day and came back the next day. They had fixed some of the issue but it was still so bad you could feel the unevenness in the paint. Once again, it was we will do what we can to make you happy. No ownership that their quality control was non existent or that their painter was not taking the time to make sure the job looked nice. I picked it up a third time after they redid the clear coats because they couldnt sand it down anymore. I picked up the car. That weekend the bumper started coming off. There was still some orange peel in the paint. I called and spoke with John Streeter he is over the state of Arizona for Gerber. He assured me taking it to another shop they would be able to get it fixed.At this point I took it to the Chandler shop. They told me it was going to take a day. I got a call the day I was supposed to pick up my car saying that they used an aftermarket bumper that didnt fit correctly and that they would have had to glue it on to make it look right. So, they ordered a new bumper. Bumper comes in and its the incorrect bumper. They say give them a couple of days. I go to pick it up when they said it would be done. They forgot to call me and tell me that the wrong bumper had been delivered. I was told that they had received 3 of the incorrect bumpers. I dont understand how you get it wrong 3 times. I called John Streeter last Friday asking for a call. He has not returned my call since then. I still dont have my car. They have had my car for over a month for a bumper replacement and a dent in the trunk cover. No one has taken ownership of the issues and resolved them. I am so disappointed and will never use the company again.

My rear bumper was clipped by another driver and Gerber was the recommended body shop. Honestly, I had no issues with them. My car was ready in four days and looks like it just came of the showroom floor. Good service and quality work from what I can see. Lifetime warranty on the work done.

As a former server I always give servers and restaurants the benefit of the doubt. Not being checked on though for 20 minutes while you are ready to go with a 5 year old falling asleep, while employees watch the football game instead of your job tells you everything you need to know about this location.

The experience was great. We were in and out had a rental for a bit while they got my car back up and when it came in Art wanted to make everything was ok did a walk around with us even went on a test drive. The general manager Russell is really cool and treated us like family. If I have any issues I know who Im calling.

I took my car in because it was severely damaged from a hail storm and never thought it would look the same again. They were excellent to work with, assuring me they would take care of it. Russ, the manager and Gentry my service adviser couldnt have been more helpful. I received my car back as if it were brand new again. Very professional, I would recommend them highly.

Zero star.. cheaters.. wouldnt do the work properly.. please inspect your vehicle when you take delivery they would not only do unprofessional repair but would also damage your car further and when you report that to them they blame it on you. total disaster very very unprofessional.. the only good thing is the receptionist, who is very friendly.

Russ, their manager and his staff are superb! My 02 SC430 had a paint job back in 2012 when they were a different company(Brighton Collision Center), and the paint naturally peeled off in multiple locations on the bumper due to the low quality paint. I finally found my old Brighton claim/warranty docs just recently in 2017... 5 years later! and Russ honored the lifetime warranty even though they are now a different company. Bumper looks brand new! Thanks guys!!!

I dropped my guitar two weeks before my schools concert, and I chipped the bottom of my guitar, it looked horrible, I had taken my guitar to gerber before, this time my guitar looked even worse, when I took it to them, they were very friendly and they fixed my guitar in one weekend! The people that work the front desk here are very friendly, but they seem to have no way of accessing service records for vehicles that are in the shop. This means that every time I called to check the status of my repair they had to find one specific person to look into it for me (not quickly mind you). The shop missed the original completion date, but did not call to let me know (luckily I called ahead). They then missed the second agreed upon time because someone burned my fender with a buffer and they had to re-paint it. This was a little annoying but mistakes happen and I told them it was no problem. The gentleman who gave me the unfortunate news said he would fill the gas up for me and detail the car. Well... they filled the gas up, but then they smeared glossy detailer all over the plastic surfaces inside my car and left a wet rag sitting on the seats. So now I get to spend an hour wiping this stuff off the surfaces inside my car.The parking is also complete trash. I would recommend going somewhere else.

I love this place! I bought an Electric Guitar for my sons Christmas present but it had a chip in the paint about the size of a quarter all the way down to the wood. Some one suggested I take it to a body shop to see if they could help. When I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly and smiling young lady. I explained the situation (Thought they would think I was silly for bringing a guitar to a body shop) and without hesitation she took the guitar into the back to see what they could do. A few moments later she came back and said that they can touch up the paint and there would be no charge. Even though they were extremely busy while I was there they took the time to help me without making me feel like I was wasting there time and even said they would have it done by the end of the day. Talk about Customer Service!!!! I know I have found a new favorite business in Chandler and will be sending as many people there as I can!!

I only went here because it was a GEICO xpress center that offered collision repairs, AND enterprise car rental. Zach and Cody quoted me 8 day to repair but actually only took 6 days. Car rental through GEICO was hassle free and not much BS paperwork to fumble through. I cannot even tell that my car was in an accident, the paint and body. work alignment was near perfect.

A story of how bad it got and how fast management was to rectify a poor experience.Multiple weeks of excuses and “he said she said” games just to complete the work to declare a vehicle a total loss. Tried to rectify the unacceptable performance and service by stepping up and offering to cover the rental car costs due to their delay. The day the rental car was taken back they first back peddled saying they’d no longer cover the car and were only willing to pay half. Fast forward a week and we were informed they’re refusing to even honor that agreement and leaving a customer stuck with over $600 in rental fees because of the delays caused in their shop.Update - Both Tony and Russ have cantacted us and expressed their sincerest apologies for the miscommunications throughout this ordeal. We’ve had multiple calls with them today and they’ve helped resolve the issues with the rental car and went above and beyond to make sure that this was not the lasting impression we have of Gerber Auto Collision. They do read these comments and take them to heart which is a rare quality in a business operation. 5 Stars!!!
