Val is the most amazing honest man that does great work!

They used to be a good shop, but lately they dropped the ball. COVID desperation? I don’t know, but can’t recommend this shop to anyone anymore. They kept my car for more than a month trying to fix it, they also broke my windshield and over charged my insurance 5 times for that.

This is the second time my car has been to The Body Shop, and they took great care of it again. Something wasnt immediately approved by my insurance company, but they worked quickly to contact me, the claims representative, and the supervisor to get it fixed correctly. It didnt even change the pick up date they had originally told me. Everything works and looks good. A great place!

Pick up my suv today it look good but the air bag light came back on then off call the shop spoke too the service guy he does not have good service skills somewhat rude hes good on saying that not his problem hope the problem with the vehicle work out I feel hopeless

This Place is so notorious for insurance fraud.i add 2 images,please look on it.you all see 2 dots on the bumper.He charge $1377.40 to fix it.my car accidently touch this car,the lady called police, the police suggest to no need to file a police report because only need a paint touch up or cash settlement...But she wants the police report and go with the insurance company to fix her car.we agree because she have the right to do that.She lives in Rolling Meadows but she went to 5820 N western Ave Chicago to fix a scratch.....its hard to believe she travelled 55 minutes to fix the scratch...there are 100s of body shop on her way to chicago.and she select the notorious shop...thats really doubtful.To fix it insurance give an estimate for $380 which is a reasonable price.But he file a supplementary to fix this which is hard to believe it and charged $897.15 as supplementary claim.moreover he owned a car rental company and charged extra days for the even they fixed the car....I am sure that i am not only the victim of his insurance fraud.....you all need to come forward and report to the your insurance company fraud department,Illinois department of insurance and national insurance fraud reporting agency......he desire jail time for this insurance fraud.....

Val the owner is the best!!! His people did a great job, and I was updated during the whole repair by Martin. My car was ready in no time, and the final bill was $235 cheaper than I was originally quoted. Thank you guys!!!

Worst pain job ever, they use screws instead of clips and in the end it’s took almost 1 month, don’t believe in their smiles and promises, avoid these shop if possible

Repaired my truck perfectly including a no-hassle fine tuning of repaired steering assembly also damaged in an accident.Very knowledgeable management in both body and mechanical needs in the aftermath of a wreck and their hands-on staff committed to customer satisfaction and quality. Will go here for such work again.

Please please please do not take your car to get fixed here.They will take the money, not do anything any keep making excuses as to why. This shop is run by a scam artist. They are super unprofessional and will talk down to you. I could go on and but I’ll keep it short. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

Best shop Super great people, very reasonable price.I had my experience twice. I wouldnt go anywhere else . Its been couple months but I havent get achance to add my review but I cant let it go like that and not to appreciate this wonderful service and amazing people.Im a restaurant manager and very busy they got my car fixed with in days. I shared with them donuts and coffee since they made me very happy by doing a wonderful job.Keep up the good work guys.

I’ve taken three different cars here and am always satisfied with the results. They work well with big insurance companies like progressive, despite not being one of their “preferred locations”.What gets them a 5 is Tim. Not sure if he is the owner, manager, or both. Either way, he is very friendly and is extremely customer oriented. He remembers me when I walk in by the previous cars I’ve brought to him. Thats impressive for how bush they are usually.

This place became my place to go to with any car body problems. They are very professional and did an amazing job on my car. It looks perfect. After my hit and run accident, my whole side was scratched up, now it looks like it never happened. They are very nice and accommodating. Im beyond satisfied with their job well done and great customer service.

After taking my car to several other body shops and receiving much higher quotes than I imagined, I brought my car to The Body Shop. Each of the other 2 places were adamant that the entire bumper needed to be replaced, but Tim thought there would be no issues with fixing the bumper and repainting it would be just as good. I was scepticle, but with a quote of over $1,000 less than the other body shops and Tims recommendation, the bumper was fixed instead of replaced. Tim was right, you could not tell that anything had happened to the bumper and it is now 9 months later and it has held up tremendously. I will definitely go back there if needed.

The owner of this place is as nice as you can get. Hell take the time to answer any questions you have about your vehicle. My Nissan versa got rear ended by a Lexus SUV at full speed ahead. The body shop made my car look brand new. Highly recommended. Theyre awesome!

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. They have one professional liar Tim, they will promise you everything and off course they not gonna finish nothing. All this good reviews is fake, lots good body shops in Chicago, don’t go there, don’t waste your time,money and health.

I absolutely do not recommend this shop or working with Paul in any context. He is completely rude and unprofessional. As well as this shop refuses to use modern technology such an email and computers to run their business which causes overall delays in all aspects of a repair.

They do great work for reasonable rates. Doesnt matter if its insurance work or not, these guys take care of you and stand behind their work. I brought my 15 year old Honda in here and felt as though I was treated with the same attention as the $200K Mercedes SLS they had in the shop.

Seriously dont look anywhere else - every person at this body shop is professional, thorough, great with communication, and go above and beyond for your vehicle. I brought my car in bad shape and was anxious because it was leased and the lease ended in 10 days. Tim, (which is truly one of the most professional nicest people Ive ever met) listened to all my concerns, told me what the process was, what he was going to do for me and took the time to explain to me how the shop does care about its customers. Im normally very picky and skeptical when it comes to body shops, I think thats a somewhat common, but you can tell by meeting with any person there that theyre there to do their job, are honest and really want to help people.Tim was able to get my deductible back and the team took care of additional scratches free of charge and acted like it was no big deal. I didn’t expect my experience to be so nice, which is why I wrote this review.You cant go wrong here, will go back here hands down.

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. It is unfortunate how dishonest and unethical are the owners of this place.I brought my car in for body repairs. I didnt even challenge the quote and put my trust in the owner Val thinking he is an honest person. A couple of days after I drove the car away from the shop, I realized my automatic car starter was not working. I naively called the shop and brought the car in as instructed for them to fix it. However, when I brought the issue to Vals attention, Val immediately stormed at me, accused me of lying and spoke down to me. I drove away very disappointed as I thought he was trustworthy. A few days later, I noticed my speed pedometer is broken and instead of informing me of what happened, they opted to glue it back on using a black glue substance to fool me. Further, I smelled rubber burning odor whenever I drove the car. I took the car to another shop and they informed me a protective heat sheild is missing as it was not installed as recommended. At this point, I am opting to write this review to alert others of the poor practices used at this place and the owners poor ethics and morals.

I cant speak highly enough about Tim and the Body Shop. Not only did they immaculately repair my vehicle, but they also dealt with the horrendous insurance company I had to go through on my behalf. They were an advocate for my best interests every step of the way.

I highly recommend this body shop they do great work and they fix cars on time. Also very friendly I recommend all my friends to go there

Great place to get your car repaired. The repair quality great, and prices were very reasonable.

People, working there, dont know how to estimate their time and wont honor their promises.Service for my car, originally estimated as 3-4 weeks job, took nearly 6 weeks. Last week I called them every day, and every time it was tomorrow or next day we will finish. Finally, Ive been told I can come and take my car. Ive replied Ill do it tomorrow (it was afternoon). Ive come next day, guess what? Car was not ready and I waited for one more hour.

***SCAM ALERT*** My experience was HORRIBLE! I have a classic car that needed new paint as there were two rust spots on it but the car was basically in mint condition. They took my car NO ONE EVER called me to tell me hey we sanded down your car on those two rust spots and there was some bondo and minor rust so we wont be able to warranty your car after our paint job I NEVER RECIEVED A PHONE CALL. No one even informed me of this after I picked up my car. I went back home and further inspected my car and seen that there were horrible sand marks all over my fenders and quarter panels, I was fuming! Now I brought it back and MR. PAUL (top security at the front desk) keeps saying TIM (the owner) & VAL (owner) are out of town and Val does not deal with customers even though its HIS BUSINESS! & making all excuses he can think of. Paul informed me they can not warranty the car because there was bondo in those 2 spots WHICH NO ONE EVER CALLED ME AND INFORMED ME OF! NOWW we are in a bonding contract because we signed BUT NOW they have to warranty my car otherwise IM SUEING FOR BREAKING OUR CONTRACT! On top of that I had received a ticket in the mail stating that I had gotten a $60 ticket in front of their business for no front license plate !!! When I clearly pulled the car up into their shop and they closed the door behind me. I had asked them to shave the 2 license plate holes in the front of my car so that was their excuse as to why my plate was not on. BUT is this their first day in the City of Chicago? OR EVEN STATE OF ILLINOIS?! Where by law, you have to have a front and back plate?! When I picked my car up someone had taken the ticket off my window and jury rigged a coat hanger to hold my plate in the front so someone knew I received a ticket and pulled it off the window and threw it away because in the picture of when I received my ticket in the mail the plate was not there. TIM told me to bring my car in and they will discuss and fix the paint and reimburse me. ON THAT PHONE CALL HE STILL DID NOT EVEN MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT MY CAR NOT BEING WARRANTIED BECAUSE OF THOSE 2 BONDO SPOTS. I get there and now TIM is magically not there and Paul said we will not pay your ticket and he was in my face fighting me about it when the CO OWNER TIM said they would. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! IDC HOW MANY PORSCHES, CORVETS, MASERATIS THEY HAVE THERE AND FLAUNT IN YOUR FACE AS TO HOW NICE THE WORK IS THERE. THOSE CARS ARE EITHER OWNED BY THE OWNER TO FLAUNT AND FISH PEOPLE IN OR PEOPLE WHO OWN THOSE CARS ARE GETTING SCAMMED AS WELL! SAVE YOURESELF AND DO NOT GO THERE!

This place is a complete joke. Horrible customer service and bad quality of paint. Tim and val dont take care of the cars while they are in their hands. There are also no updates on the car during the whole process. NO LIFETIME WARRENTY AT THIS SHOP. When I had my car painted there it was not done right. Over spray on half of the car, orange peel, and clear coat issues. When I called to have it repaired they said they can fix it but will void my warrenty! what kind of shop does that??DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!
