This place is absolutely False people think these people are wonderful and fantastic, reasonable? They took my money $1100 sold me a moped that wasnt working 100% I let the owner know and his staff of my problems immediately after the first week. They said to bring it back,I did several times and they never fixed the problems but did charge me service fees. They broke parts and they never offered to apologize. The owner lies and so does his staff!

I would rate a 5 if they had everything you need. If you need helmets, gloves, and other gear youll need to get some other place. They have a good selection of mopeds. Some of them actually look like 250cc Kawasaki Ninjas, and other naked street bikes. The folks here are very healpful.

Love them!!! They get me in and out. Friendly front counter and hard working, multitasking workers. Even when busy they stop to help. And always fix the problem!!!!

A little pricey didnt have big enough CC kind of motors for me I feel like they can have what you want if you are going to ride around the city but not two in front getting to work back. I called one of the ladies there she was nice friendly and helpful the reason Im getting at three stars is because it didnt have what I needed but if they have what you need to go for it

I just saw someone complaining the same problem as what happened to me two years ago. I bought a new moped from the store and found the moped doesnt work just 3 days after my purchase. I brought my scooter to the store back and forth about 4 times and they couldnt fix it until the fifth time. And that cost me more than 100 dollars taking uber. After a month the same problem occurred so I called them again. This time they told me that they will charge me labor fee and those previous repairs were not their obligation but generosity. Unfortunately, in Columbia you dont have more options buying scooter. Other scooter dealers nearby are even more corrupt. But I suggest you to read basic laws in terms of warranty. You need to ask them provide the notes of repairs including the date, the problems in detail, and the dealers signature. If they cannot fix it in 3 times they will need to give you a new one. Keep in mind that those scooters are mainly made in China and some of them are in bad condition. Dont trust them at the first place, ask them to provide proof of repairs, make sure you have your warranty with you. If they refuse to fix the problem you may consider contact a lawyer (USC do provide free consultation for students)

I take my 4 wheeler there and it have been a month and I didnt have it for about 4 weeks and I had to take it back and everytime I call its the same thing we going to get to it.

Super happy with the people and service at Hawg Scooters. Called in and asked if they had a part I was looking for and they quickly got me a price and told me they had it. Went the next day and brought my old broken clutch with me. The guy looked at and said not the the one I was thinking of but I do have that one. They work hard to make sure that mopeds and scooters work as well as they can. Its a moped. Dont blame them when it doesnt run like a Ferrari. Justin and the crew do everything they can and treat people fairly. They have always been honest and have done all they can when I come in for service.

How about a so-called new ATV 2020 V Moto 200 didn’t even have it a day and had no brakes the rear brakes were sticking the exhaust pipe fell off I mean that was the worst experience I’ve ever had they took me for 2580 even worth it because ain’t even wrote it and hour and it was falling apart

Unreal service after the sale! Justin went above and beyond to make sure my kids had an amazing Christmas. He stayed late when I was running behind on time and ensured I knew everything about our ATV! Been using a moped since I came to Carolina. Once I got burned by another moped mechanic in Columbia, a friend of mine recommended Hawg Scooters. The whole crew there really knows scooters like the back of their hand, and theyre one of the few shops that wont try to cut corners or overcharge you. Theyre real genuine and down to earth when youre in need of some help. Will definitely return to them for any of my moped business

I had a flat back tire from construction around my dorm. I had no way to get it to them. Justin came within a hour of calling and towed it to the shop. He also let me ride with him as I had no ride up there after repairs were completed. They had it fixed within 30 minutes. If you need anything done they can take care of it very quickly.

Got a moped for them and come to find out it overrated the moped broke down after leaving called for help they would not come we not work on it and its still in my yard broke down thanks for a used engine on a brand new moped its junk lost my money so please dont go here unless you want to lose your money

I have been on the fence for the last month deciding whether to buy my nephew (a junior at USC in the engineering program) a moped. I decided to go to Hawgs vs other local shops based on price and customer service (if you tell them youre debating, they may knock off the credit card fee from your purchase as well). After much debate, we decided on the Tao Tao VIP, as we did not feel the need to get the Thunder. Mel and Justin were both helpful in the decision process and I feel confident going back to NJ that he can have any service or repair taken care of seamlessly.

HORRIBLE customer service. They are awful when it comes to communicating what a problem is with your scooter. They never return calls when they say they will. Ive been calling for days about the serial number of my scooter and they keep giving me the run around. This is not the first time. When it comes time to purchase a new scooter, I will avoid this place and tell my friends too, as well.

Brought my daugther a four wheeler for chirstams, taken it back four times and still having issues. and they been charging me $50. The only thing they can say bring it back and well check everything again and give you a free oil change. Really?? and I just refer a friend their Saturday who brought a 4 wheeler.

Had an issue with the title of my moped that the owner Justin went above and beyond to resolve. Also had a flat tire a few days later and had the moped picked up and a new tire put on within a few minutes. Cant recommend these guys enough!

Took the moped their two weeks ago and got charged 100 dollars for a moped that broke two weeks later. When I brought it in again they tore apart the motor and charged me 36 dollars and recommended a 80cc upgrade that would cost me up to 275 dollars.

I had been neglecting my bike for about a year and dreaded dropping it off for repairs that would leave me dependant on friends and fam for weeks. But instead, I dropped it on a wed morning, needing all headlights fixed, brake work done amongst several other things. To my surprise it was already done on friday! They had everything i asked done and the the parts and labor were below my expectations as far as price. I will definately be a returning customer!

I would like to recant my statement In previous post, ( stating employees are stoned ), that was not based on fact, its not fair to publicly crucify any business .I have since revisited the store, and the experience was the complete opposite of my previous one . The staff is courteous, Helpful, and knowledgeable .The manager Justin is a true professional, although being very busy .... He will take the time to explain in detail whatever questions I may have, there is simply nothing else Justin could do to to improve the customer experience . I have since changed my mind about HAWGS, I would Definitelyrecommend HAWGS . HAWGS is well stocked with parts, also the tech in the service department is helpful with any technical questions I have, on one occasion he gave me a tip that could have possibly saved me from doing major damage to my engine, after I had just rebuilt it . Whether I am purchasing a new scooter, or need service, I will be giving HAWGS my business .
