Great service on a budget with lightning FAST turnaround!They were willing to fix my electric scooter! The owner was up front that not every scooter is the same, but hed give it his best shot. Scooter repair is new territory and hard to find. I was offered to have my scooter ready by end-of-day... who else can offer that?!What I appreciate most: the transparency and helpful information. The owner knew more about my electric scooter than I did, giving me plenty of helpful tips to keep my ride in tiptop shape. Other local shops did not seem to have the same experience.If you have an electric scooter, this is the BEST place to go for fixes and advice.

30 minutes before closing, Winston was graciously able to replace my bikes front tire tubing, went the extra mile to make sure all of my tires were pumped up, and gave me some tips on making sure my bike was safe to ride. Sincere thanks, Winston. Your 15 minutes of service has saved me weeks of future, perilous headaches.

The owner Winston is super nice and helpful. I took my bike in for a desperately needed tune up and he had the bike ready for me the next day. Compared to other bike shops, he gives a great and affordable price and he even clean off my bike and took care of other things that most bike shops would overlook or over charge me for. I would for sure recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely be going there again.

Winston is a great guy! Very knowledgeable about different bike parts and how to set up your bike for maximum power per pedal. He tuned up my old trash heap bike into a really nice ride.

Winston, the owner, is the absolute best. Time and time again when I have taken my bike to change a tire, get a tune up, etc. he has gone above and beyond in terms of both service and kindness. He is very trustworthy, always tries to give you the best deal, and does a fantastic job. I have only been to Winston on 3 occasions, but already have countless experiences of his kindness and great service (e.g. lent me a lock after closing to make sure my newly tuned bike and tires would not get stolen, exhaustively showed me how to change a tire). Could not recommend highly enough, he is fantastic!!!! I will not go anywhere else in Davis for bike maintenance.

Winston fixed my bike today (tune up, new tires, brakes and more) and he did it same day and stayed open past the 6pm closing time to finish my bike. I dont drive and use my bike exclusively so I really appreciated that so much. He cleaned up my bike so nice and it looks beautiful (no greasy residue) Ive had other tune ups that dont go above and beyond like this💗 Our family has a new spot!

My bike had a lot of problems including brakes, handles, bearings, and all the cables were also falling off. In addition to that, I left my bike outside for almost 6 months since the pandemic. After seeing my bike with all the rust and dusts, I was thinking to get a new one instead of fixing it. However, I found this place and got my bike fixed like a new bike. Actually, it rides much smoother than when I first got my bike. Winston is an true expert I would say. And he also was very gentle and kind without giving any pressure. I would definitely recommend the overall tune-up package. It is trully worth the price, actually very reasonable, since Winston goes through a thorough inspection, and he fixes every little details. I am so glad that I found such a place.

Came in just to buy a bike tube, and the owner kindly showed us how to install the tube ourselves. Seriously great service, and you dont meet kind people like this owner very often. I will definitely be coming back here for my bike/skateboard needs!!

Winston is very kind and extremely knowledgeable about both skateboards and bikes. The shop was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. He was very patient answering all of my questions about skateboard bearings and bike chains. I ended up getting a quick service on my bike and the whole time he was very friendly and open about sharing his experience with bikes. I left feeling like I learned a lot and now I feel more comfortable working on my own bike. Ill definitely be coming back here for skateboarding supplies and bike maintenance and would highly recommend it! :D

Winston was very knowledgeable and helpful, and he communicated well with me. He went above and beyond; I brought my bike in for replacement parts, which he took care of, and he also did a tune-up of his own initiative and added an anti-theft mechanism for free. Great new bike shop in town!

Went to get some air in my tires and some grease on my chain and I left feeling like I have a brand new bike. The dude who owns the place is super thorough and does a great+quick job at tuning up bikes. The prices are affordable, especially compared to some of the shops in downtown Davis, and since this place is really close to downtown, its a short, convenient ride from campus. Ill definitely be going back!

I highly recommend Davis Bikes and Skateboards. I was desperately looking for a green 12” bike for my son for Christmas, and Winston beautifully painted a bike for him. He even changed out the tires and seat to make the bike look even better. I couldn’t have purchased a better bike!In addition, I brought my bike for a tire repair, and he tuned it up to make it ride better.Winston goes above and beyond for his customers. Found this place by accident. Were from Sacramento, but I had lived in Davis for a time and bought my current bike at Freewheeler and we were out riding in the Davis ag lands.When Freewheeler didnt work out this time, my family stumbled across Winstons place. Hes very friendly and helpful. A 1-person operation, but really genuinely cares about what he does and will often do the job on the spot. While we have a place in Sacramento we go to (the Bicycle Business), we trust Winston just as much and have been back with our bike needs several times now when there. Hes worth going a few blocks off the beaten (downtown Davis) path.
