We went shopping for a car a few weeks ago. The sales girl was nice but maybe she didnβt think we were serious. To put $500.00 down payment ( non refundable) just to see the car is outrageous. We proceeded down the street to Hyundai and got a really great deal on a 2022 Tucson Hybrid with a 10 year bumper to bumper warranty. Maybe this experience at Subaru was a blessing in disguise. Weβre very happy with our new Purchase at Hyundai!

Everything from start to finish was outstanding.I was first met by my advisor, Evelyn Villalobos, who was cordial, careful and professional. I explained my needs for the maintenance of my Subaru and that I had a noon lunch engagement with hopes the work could be completed soon. We both thought it was very possible. So I went to the waiting area but brought my Kindle to occupy my time while waiting.Sure enough the wok was complete and I was set to leave with a freshly washed Outback about 9:15. I loved it!
Went in for my semi-annial maintenance and was seen on a very busy Saturday without an appointment. I figured it would take 3 hours to be helped but it took a little more than an hour. While I was there they had a dog adoption event going on as well as food and drinks, so it was a great way to spend the time. The staff was all very helpful and I was asked many times by many people if I needed anything while I was waiting. An all around great experience.

I drove to El Paso from Alamogordo to get a car and It was a great experience! Great pricing and Nathaniel was awesome! Very helpful. I was there for hours because of paperwork problems. I left with a great car, at a great price. Highly recommend going here. The salesman were all chill, not aggressive or pushy.Update: Took 5 days before the transmission started slipping. Took it to the mechanic. Had WAY too much fluid in it. Removed tons of black sludge. I now take back my recommendation. I took out a loan for the fist time in my life and went to a reputable place in hopes I could get something decent. Mechanics were already telling me prices on a new transmission. 5 days!

The service department fundamentally distrusts the customer. Customer preferences or needs are of no value whatsoever. The goal is to bump up costs and to avoid problem solving at every turn. Subarus are good cars, very reliable and totally satisfactory for most peopleβs transportation needs. This service department will trip you up in every way they can.

I visit Subaru at least twice a year for my Foresterβs service. Last time I brought my doggie because I didnβt have time to drop her at home. She is a very hyper girl and the store understood me, they provided her with water and treat, they even let her calm down in one of the offices with me. I love Subaru, for how they being loving and caring. Their cars are also better than most on the market with the same price range. Iβve driven Toyota RAV4 but I think the Forester is more fun to drive.
Subaru of El Paso was a great experience. My salesman, Fred Truelove was knowledgeable and helpful, treating me like a friend and not just a customer. At first, it looked like they didnt have an SUV that would work for me, but then Fred thought about the 2021 Ascent, showed it to me, and I was sold. I was very disappointed. I have a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek plug in hybrid that I purchased in January in California. I recently moved to Las Cruces in October and was experiencing a whining sound that at times was loud snd my gas mileage was lower than normal. I called to make an appointment to check out my concerns and to get my 6k check up as the odometer was 16k. After waiting over 2 hours on a service check that usually takes less than hour with a car wash I was told by the tech that the dealership isnβt equipped to properly check on plug in hybrids and wonβt be til 2023. So I basically wasted over 4 hours with the drive and after leaving got an email with a bill for a filter replacement. I wasnβt presented the bill when I signed off. Upon making the appointment and expressing if the service department had told me that theyβre not properly equipped to handle plug in hybrids I wouldnβt have wasted my time. Iβll pay the bill snd chalk it up to a wasted day. I will call Subaru America and complain and seek advise to where I might find service in the future.
I donβt really write reviews but I helped my mother get a car from this place and it was a great experience overall and worked out pretty smooth. Evelyn was an amazing service representative, she kept me in the loop of any services being done to my car and my wait time was limited to only a short 2 hours even with added services last minute. The process was simple from booking the appointment to payment and I didnt feel pressured to get any service done that I didnt want at the moment. I will be visiting again.

This is the worst dealership Iβve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. We drove 90 minutes one way to look at a car - their site showed a dozen vehicles in stock. We got there, they only had 2 - so we looked at the used cars. We found one we liked. They wouldnβt budge on price even for military. So we passed until what we wanted would come along. Gave them a second chance - drove the 90 minutes one way to look. Again, the site showed 9 vehicles - they had 1 on the lot. So we perused used. We found one we liked. They gave us a price and said it was being certified. Itβd be ready in an hour. Cue them leaving us in the lobby for FOUR HOURS with only one update about the car having more issues than they originally thought. They advised us to leave & theyβd call us to update. They showed us a payment which was agreed upon. Cue them calling us 90 minutes later to tell us theyβll deliver the car on Monday as itβs still not ready. I had to pry the payment info out of them & it was $100 OVER what was originally agreed upon. They also ran our credit with EVERY BANK they use when we specifically advised them to use our credit Union (which they didnβt - they told us weβd have to do approval there ourselves). Needless to say, we are beyond angry at our time wasted, how they do not value military members or families, and how they have shady business practices. Will never set foot here ever again!

I bought a bad battery from lubeβn go. Turns out it blew a fuse. The service dept changed it and did not βfindβ other things wrong. They were honest and only charged me the relay price. And they washed my car too. The service was fast, totally worth it. But honestly if you buy from this place you wonβt see too much of their service dept anyways. The cars are good and reliable to begin with.
The service department (Evelyn) gave me a good assessment of how long it would take to perform the maintenance and diagnosis and took care of my concerns. The report I got at the end was helpful in identifying things to watch out for in my next visit without forcing unneeded service. Will come again!

When Iβm reality we were looking for a used high mileage vehicle but they offered us the best in line and brand new for a better price then used vehicles.

The overall experience at the service center was good. I called to schedule an appointment and talked about specific services to be completed for 75k service. When I arrived to drop off my vehicle the individual at the reception area did not seem to have any information from my phone conversation 2 days earlier. So I basically had an appointment scheduled with no information on what they were to complete during the appointment. At that point I have to determine all individual 75k services requested previously and ended up setting for a pre-packaged basic service.

This is the first time Ive been asked to give a review, and its unfortunate, because this is the first time that Ive had a bad experience at Subaru of El Paso. It started with a tire that had a nail in it. I brought the car by and they told me it had a nail and they would charge me $30 to patch it. Well its a dealership, so I expected the higher price. I told them I had road hazard insurance, and I was told that they dont accept insurance. I thought it was odd because I had bought the car there and I bought the insurance there. So I took the car somewhere else and not only did they find one nail but they found three nails. They suggested that I buy a new tire. The next day I went back to Subaru and told them that I needed a new tire and I didnt understand why they wouldnt take my road hazard insurance. Of course they said it was just a misunderstanding, they would accept my insurance. It was quite a long wait, which I understand because I didnt have an appointment and there are plenty of people that probably had appointments before me and it was a weekend. As I left they had me sign a few pieces of paper that he said were to show the work they did and that the insurance paid for it. When I got home I got a text telling me of a bill that was due and I looked over the forms that I had signed nowhere on there did they talk about insurance having paid for the service. I called a few times and texted to find out what was going on, just got voicemail and no answers to my text. In this case I would Chuck up the whole experience to just a bad day. As I said before every other time Ive gone there was a very pleasurable experience.
Had continual problem with electrical (battery). Didnβt have car for two weeks but service responsive in getting car fixed right. So no complaints. I could see they were trying. Hopefully no more problems. Never had a problem with two previous cars from Subaru.

After a long trip from North Carolina to ELPaso, I had some serious problems with my WRX Subaru that needed part replacements. It was expected that I would be π less for a week. Jorge Flores, the Express Advisor used his resources to make things happen within 3 days. Very polite, kept me informed on what was being done to my car. The final result, most Excellent. THANKS to Jorges professionalism and the Maint Team that I did not meet. Their work is exceptional, I drove out and my car felt like π when I first bought it. Super, Great Work Subaru!! A lot of dealerships just want to sell cars, not service them. Thats not the case with Barbaras team. She has instilled a high level of responsiveness in her staff. When you own cars, even newer cars, you will inevitably experience a problem somewhere along the way. They sold my wife a car that had a bad transmission. 5 days it lasted! Mechanic pulled out 5.5 quarts of black sludge. Tried blaming my wife for that. They took full advantage of a woman. $15,000 we still have to pay for, plus the cost of a new transmission. Be very weary of buying used from them.

Staff was very courteous and accommodating. Oil change and tire rotation we common place so no complaints. A tire pressure indicator flashes whenever it feels like it. I wanted that fixed. I was told they checked my tires for nails and they found nothing. Very dissatisfied!!!
Before we came into the dealership, my wife and I were a little wary due to our previous experiences with dealerships being very forward with their selling points and often quite pushy. Sometimes even being impatient with our questions. This was not the case for our time at El Paso Subaru. Carolina Herrera was incredibly helpful in finding us exactly the car we were looking for and was extremely knowledgeable in all the features of the car. She was also very polite, very relatable, and made sure our entire experience there was nothing short of spectacular. Thanks to Ms. Herrera, we walked out feeling not only that we had made the right decision, but we also hadnt gotten the feeling that we were just another sale and in fact were a valued customer.While we may not purchase another vehicle from thia dealership due to military service taking us different places frequently, we hope our next car buying experience is just as wonderful as this one.
Price is reasonable and they are fast. Iβve lost faith in El Paso Subaru because I told the service intake manager the two codes my car was as giving me. He wrote I said the check engine light was on. The test revealed no codes according to the paperwork. Within a 1/4 mile of leaving the dealership, my check engine light came on. I paid $200 for a tire rotation balance, oil change, car wash and the inspection.

Definitely the slowest Subaru dealership Ive brought my car to. Took over 30 minutes to check in my vehicle once I was being helped at the desk. Then took another 40 minutes to get a loaner car. Through the whole wait time no one was telling me what was going on or where to go to get the loaner. I guess I just stand here until someone gives me keys? My car might be done with service by then.
I got a text after dropping the car off offering a way to contact the dealer. That was nice. I did respond.Unfortunately, I never got another message all day to give me an update or when I could expect the car to be completed.When I texted a request for an update, I soon received a call that the car was ready. I wish they would have told me; your car will be ready in 30min.Maybe my expectations are too high, but I would have appreciated them giving me some sort of update. ie after 3 hrs they could text still not done, expect it to be another 2 hrs; will update in 2 hrs.

Got there an hour early- coming from Alamogordo- and was taken in anyway. All staff friendly and helpful.
Not a good experience. I had an APPOINTMENT at 9am for a check engine light and an oil change. I drove an hour from Las Cruces to get there and I told them I would be waiting in their customer waiting room. Exactly 49 minutes after I handed them the keys, they sent me a text while I was in the waiting room that said I could text them anytime for anything. 3 hours and 30 minutes later I text them for the status. 15 minutes later no response. I text them again asking for the status. They finally replied βHello, your service has been performed.my technician will need additional time to continue to diagnose the check engine light concern. would you like to proceed?βI get up, I walk around back to the counter and glance outside and see my Subaru (yes Iβm positive it was mine because Iβm the only one with a ski rack and I looked at the license plate). It was parked OUTSIDE across from the service entrance. No one was checking it out, completely disrespectful of my time. After 3 hours and 45 minutes how long was it sitting there??? They certainly werenβt diagnosing it that long because they charge for that by the hour and would have told me in advance.I totally lost it at that moment on the girl working the desk. She sent a service manager over who was actually nice and told me he would expedite the diagnostic. About 45 minutes later he comes to me and tells me it needs a new bulkhead which has something to do with the fuel system. The cost would be $5k for 18 hours worth of work. I later learned the bulkhead he talked about is for the electric wiring in the system. It isnβt the fuel system that needed fixing. He had no idea what he was talking about.This car only has $52k miles on it. Itβs been giving me problems. It cut off on me in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. At that point it was 2k miles out of warranty. How convenient. And now this. Clearly I got a lemon. I paid $30k for a POS car thatβs now worth only $15k, and it makes no sense to pay $5k to fix a used car. I asked to sell the car to this dealership and they offered me $5k under KBB for a deal purchase. Afterwards I got a quote from another dealer for exactly book value for a dealer sale even with the mechanical issues.I would rather drive this POS Subaru off a cliff before I give these people, or any Subaru dealer, any of my money. To their credit they waived the diagnostic fee because I was so upset at them not respecting my time. But I never should have had to go through that in the first place.
Came by to diagnose a issue with my Subaru and couldnβt get one after paying $350. The only one losing is myself at this point after they just happily collected my money. Just because they sell Subarus doesnt mean they know about Subaruβs; thatβs what really makes a Subaru a Subaru.

Usually always get my routine service done here for my 2019 Forester. Usually have same day available appointments, which is very convenient. Recently I had a battery issue and they realized I needed a replacement. I was just over my 36k warranty and was frustrated that I was stuck with an expensive battery replacement (new car). Management and my attentive service rep ended up replacing it without charge due to just being outside of 36k miles. This saved me a lot of money and was great customer service.

They told me the exact time she would be ready. They were right on the dot. They went the extra mile in finding the right hardware to attach the license plate. Overall, great service.
Attention to detail isnt all there. As far I can tell good work though. I went in for scheduled maintenance at 8k kilometers on my odometer. I told the check in that it was specifically in km and thats what was marked on the paperwork, but my service record on Subaru says 8k miles.
Andrew at service is amazing always goes above and beyond to make sure they have my car in an out of service. Good communication skills and is always friendly! Definitely would recommend.

Although you can almost say that the Subaru brand βsells itselfβ, this Subaru dealership in El Paso offers great customer service across the entire purchase experience. Service is easy to schedule and the service reps are always attentive to my needs.
I live over 3 hours from the dealership. Jay answered questions, took pictures and guided me through the process via text and email. When I arrived which was on a Saturday he made the process go very easy. He was very knowledgeable and I felt like I could trust him. Although I did my research he did help me find a rebate I did not know was available. Yes, a car salesman that I could trust. He delivered everything that he promised. I would recommend him as well as the dealership in general.
Everyone is so friendly. Love all the updates and like that they let you know step by step what is going on and when car is ready.
