Walmart quality serviceI decided to get my oil changed at Chevron because I was tired of taking my car to Walmart and jiffy lube and getting subpar service. Well let me tell you minnie street Chevron takes the cake. Made an appointment online for 11am on Friday the day before. Got a call, finalized the appointment with Chevron then the next day comes and I drop it off at 11am as scheduled asked them to put the airfilter in as well -keep in mind I brought my own and its only 2 screws, just thought that hey maybe an extra 20 to put it in there- keep in mind this service is included at Walmart, it literally takes 2 mins to do, was not quoted or told how much this would be. Was told it should only take an HR to an hour and a half and they would call me. I left and went about my business. 1 pm comes around (2 hours after I dropped it off) . I call them they tell that my car was next in line. I tell them I was told an hour to an hour and a half and made an appointment for 11. Oh thats when you dropped it off appointments really dont mean much....seriously.... Every auto place you go to appointments mean hey your car is going to be worked on then, this is why people make appointments.Also that the person doing the oil changes was on lunch.Get a call at 2 from them saying its almost done.$127 later...quoted 79.99 after a $20 coupon.$50 for an air filter that I provided costed to be put in was not quoted on this.3 hours for an oil change$50 for an air filter to be installed.Customer beware . Dont expect quality service from this place or a fair price.

Professional service at an affordable price! When I first arrived in Alaska they winterized both of my vehicles and also repaired a damaged trailer tire. They offer military discounts and great customer service. They stand behind their work on my vehicles with a 3 year warranty on the winterization kit which works great for me.

Was and to get my Jeep back up and running fairly quickly after blowing a high pressure power steering line. They had to order the parts, but was in and out in 2 visits.

The BEST experience I’ve had having my vehicle serviced in many years! The customer service was outstanding, and even though they were slammed with everyone getting ready for winter they still treated everyone that walked through the door with courtesy.I was especially impressed with the young gentleman at the counter who called around to several places to help people get their snow tires on as this shop was already full.My husband and I have been to multiple shops here in Fairbanks, and this is the first time I’ve had such a great experience.

This is a great place to get car work done. They work fast, great quality and for a great price. Also, their inspection on vehicles is THE best Ive ever seen. They have videos, pictures and detailed descriptions as you talk on the phone with them to actually see what is wrong with you vehicle. They are wonderful.

Its a full service gas station. You pay about 10 cents more a gallon for someone to pump your gas for you.

I have been bringing my van to this service station for about 2 years now. I started out bringing it in for general maintenance. Every time I have brought my van in the staff have always been friendly, kind, respectful and informative. I felt secure enough with all the staff and knowing they are knowledgeable in their information of vehicles that when needed for more in depth service to my van I knew that this is the service station that I would be bringing my van to whenever it needs service. Thank you very much to all the staff at Alaska Chevron for treating me kindly. Evertime I have brought in my van to be looked or diagnosed whither it be due to my calling in and planning to bring it in or stopping in at the last minute. You will always have my business!!

Outstanding service...and they stand by their work!Lance (the station manager) took the time to let us know how they would take care of the vehicle...more impressive was he also took the time to really show he understood the impact being without our vehicle was having. I was able to get my serpentine belt and pulleys replaced, but at an extreme price. They then overlooked a problem that they thought was my alternator, but what turned out to be a faulty air compressor. Overall, they came through in the end with the most pressing issue.

Knowledgeable staff, friendly service, and efficient work. I was in and out in no time with very little time notice in advance ( tire problems)! And they have competitive pricing.Would recommend!!

Had a front end alignment done. Not much of the day left and it just didnt come out right, was still pulling. Took it back when I had more time and they got it right. They spent a lot of time trying to figure it out and found it wasnt theyre fault, it was a faulty steering damper. They took it off and it drove nice and they didnt charge me anything for all this extra work

I brought my car to Alaska Chevron Service for a second opinion on a repair job. They were able to get my car in and back to me in a timely fashion. I would go to them again for services.

These technicians saved my life today! I needed to ship my car yesterday at 3pm but the shipment place would not take it because my cars emergency brake wont stay engaged. They fixed both my axles that were leaking and replaced the brake pads. They put a rush on fixing it by the next day by 1:30p. I was able to ship it on time. They went way beyond their way to help me out. Family owned and the most friendly service you could ask for especially for me being a walk-in. If I would have known about this family owned Chevron I would have taken my vehicles here a long time ago. Never ever taking it to Genes again.

Best shop in town! These guys not only provide the best service but they own up to any mistakes and make them right! Had a part not come in and they not only took responsibility but made it up to me and squeezed me in for a tire swap last minute during a winter storm. Ive used other shops in town and after being severely let down, these guys made it the others shops mistakes right as well. No where else Id take my vehicles.

It was my first time trying out chevron on Illinois street. Honestly they dont even deserve one star, It was 35 minutes before closing time and they told me they are closing soon and that I should go somewhere else or come back tomorrow. I wouldnt of came to them if it was 10 minutes before closing time but they couldnt even take 3 minutes to check if my tire was needing some patching up. Who denies service 35 minutes before they actually close? Thats the first and last time ever going there, they gave a bad impression from the get go. Dont recommend at all

Our truck quit on us while we were driving it so we had to get it towed. Being Military, I didnt know any place I could trust in the area since I work on my own or take it to the shop on base but I didnt have many options. We got it towed to the shop and they told us we had a bad fuel pump and it was going to cost 1,100 bucks to replace it. Decided that I would rather pay the 150 bucks to get it towed to base and have it worked on there. They told me they would do it for half the cost....turned out our gas gauge was not working properly and in the end only paid the towing, the 150 dollars they charged me for the false diagnostic fee and the 105 bucks to fill up my truck.......I guess everyone has to make their living, some just have to screw other people over to do it. I dont know too many mechanics in the Fairbanks area I can trust but I definitely know now Alaska Chevron has been the worst most crooked place Ive ever taken my vehicle to. I can check them off as Untrustworthy on my list and wont be getting my business or anyone who asks me for a good mechanic in the area.
