I have had a great experience here. I took two phones in back in July and were fixed right away. It cost less tomorrow fix than get a new phone. . The prices reasonable!

The staff at JB Fix cleaned my charge port for free. I assumed it was going to be a charge port replacement, but it just needed a cleaning. I wanted to pay mike for the cleaning and he refused because it only took him 2 minutes to complete. Great service and I will recommend them.

They right away new it was a screen protector and not the entire glass. The shop down the street wanted to charge me 230 for an entire screen but it wasnt even the screen. Im glad I came to jb fix because they didnt want to rip me off for a new screen. Its a shame that cpr wanted to rip me off for a screen replacement knowingly it was a tempered glass.

Mike at Jb fix was awesome over the phone so I decided t0 bring in my amazon tablet. I tried to fix on my own and Mike realized that I damaged the old LCD and suggested me to just buy a new one because it would be cheaper. So I did and he even helped me setup the new tablet and when I asked how much he didnt even charge me but I did buy him lunch for helping me. will be sending all my family and friends.

The price for services is very fair, but communication with staff is quite difficult. They may or may not be there during posted business hours.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. First of all it was impossible to reach anyone. I had to go there like four times to finally catch them while they were open. Went in for computer repair and came out with the computer more messed up than before!! I proceeded to take it to apple and they told me that JB Fix MESSED up my computer. Disgawsting.

I messaged JB Fix regarding a water damage MacBook Pro. They did not only respond within a matter of minutes but provide a estimate for the repair. They were 100.00 cheaper than his competitor down the street. They also don’t charge to look at the device which is a plus for me.

Literally every time I go in there I spend good money to get my phone fixed and every time something gets messed up, I’ve had to drive back and forth and go without a phone for days now, finally learned my lesson to never go back, also had my screen pop out and had to pay to get it fixed twice and then go back 3 different times because the person who did my phone messed up my wires and pieces the first time, so yes there was an additional charge, another 80$ lol

My experience didnt start off well with the MH location. The employee there gave me the run around and I was quite frustrated and disappointed with the service. I called the Gilroy location, spoke with Juan and i was able to get my issue resolved through him. My phone was repaired in the end, but overall, my experience throughout the whole process was not what I was expecting.

Arrived at JB Fix at 10AM on Sunday (per their hours on Facebook and on the door). The guy said they didn’t open until 11. I went and ran errands and returned at 11 and nobody was there. Tried to call twice, they didn’t answer their phone AND they have no voicemail set up, plus a mailbox that was full. I waited around until 11:30 and still nobody. I understand COVID has changed a lot of business hours. Definitely not professional.....

I came to JB Fix with an absolutely destroyed 5th generation iPad Mini (absolutely shattered screen, drastically bent back casing), and left with a fully functioning, good-as-new product - essentially, exactly how the iPad looked and functioned before it was hit by a car on the freeway. I couldnt be happier with the quality of the service.JB was very professional and empathetic to my situation, and he handled my case very quickly; not only was he conveniently open on Sunday (when the accident happened), but he worked LONG after posted closing hours on Monday once the part arrived to ensure I got the iPad back by my deadline.I will most certainly be coming back for future repair needs, and will be recommending JBs services to my friends and family.

An unreliable business you cant count on. The person / owner that works there is never there during store hours. A part that was ordered for my phone that was going to arrive the next business day never arrived. Then the owner said it will arrive in 2 days, then the next day? Inconsistent with their store hours, their shipping, and never being open during business hours when their sign says that their open but nobodys home. Unprofessional and their only going to run their business into the ground.

Let me start by stating that I am a business owner with the same business model as JB Fix. This review is not written with a purpose to smear a potential competitor, as our shops are over 30 miles apart from each other. I reached out to Juan, the owner of JB Fix in hopes of creating a working relationship whereas he could provide certain services I was not equipped to offer my customers. I initially met Juan over a year ago before I open my shop in downtown Monterey. He appeared to be both knowledgeable and reputable although that has now been proven not to be the case. Approximately 1 month ago I made contact with Juan and discussed this B2B relationship. Based on the conversation and his willingness to help I sent him several items I could not repair. Primarily, these were more complicated jobs requiring special board level soldering work for which I dont have the training or special equipment. Juan and I spoke on the phone several times over a three week period where he had expressed progress on the various items. Thats when things got weird. I noticed it was becoming increasingly more difficult to get in touch with Juan or his employees for updates. Even during normal business hours, my calls would go straight to voicemail. If someone did answer, my messages went unanswered. It soon became clear that my phone numbers were being blocked. Juan hid behind his employees. After several weeks of no response, I decided to visit his shop in Gilroy. When I arrived his shop was closed even though it was during normal business hours. I decided to visit his new location in Morgan Hill and spoke with his employee who contacted Juan via text. I was being redirected back to the Gilroy location where supposedly Juan and his employee were waiting for me. Upon returning to his Gilroy location, the shop was still closed with Juan nowhere to be found. About 25 minutes later one of his employees arrived to tell me they no longer wanted to do business with me but did not have mine or my customerss property to return to me. Its been a week since my visit and I still have not received a phone call or my items. I would stay as far away from this business as possible as it is quite clear they have no clue what customer service really is.

Picked up my tempered glass at his Gilroy store for my s9. Didn’t charge me a install fee like other stores would.

Update: owner reached out to me and I was able to get my phone fixed. Dropped it off at 1 and picked it up at 6. Just had to leave tape in place for a couple hours till the adhesive dried. The screen and back were replaced. Phone looks great and works great.I have no clue how this place is in business I went in to get my phone screen fixed told they had to order the products and that they would be in on Tuesday well I had to work and told them I would be in Saturday. The following Saturday I went in, they told me the product had not come in and would be in Monday. Instead of driving 20 miles for no reason again so I called Monday. Again told item hasnt arrived but would be in the next day. I called the next day and then tild they had the item but werent opening that day cause owner had just had their baby. I then called back Friday no answer, I tried 4 times throughout the day no ove ever answered. Its been 2 wks now. Not sure hote they stay open with this kind of service. Guess Ill have to find a company in San Jose

Took my iphone x and macbook pro here. Iphone was completed in less than 20 minutes and my macbooks motherboard was swapped due to water damage issues. Couldn’t have been any happier with the customer service. If you have any technical issues of any kind I highly recommend Jb Fix.
