Went in with my bff because he adores them and shops there a lot. The sweetest staff on the planet. They cleaned my diamond rind while I waited for him to finish up. Thanks you guys! I will return to buy my own goodies. So many beautiful pieces to choose from.

My sales woman, Victoria, made me feel comfortable. I trust her and believes she will always treat me fair. I ended up buying several pieces from Jared and will order more in the future. I have been to most of the national chains. Jared felt different. Victoria is a real asset to Jared.
Customer service is everything to me and this place just does NOT have it. Ive been to this Jared location a number of times to buy gifts and to have jewelry repair done. Each time Ive found the staff to be either rude or incompetent. Jewelry repair is what it is- nothing spectacular except that they charge out the wazoo for the most basic repairs. Turnaround time is decent. My future jewelry needs will be taken elsewhere.
Bought my first ring from Jared and I was very excited. The guy I purchased it from yesterday was super helpful. I had to have it resized so I couldn’t bring it home that day. I went to pick it up today and I was disappointed in the lack of customer service. They pulled my ring out of a plastic bag after spending 5 minutes trying to find it and said “here ya go”. Didn’t even offer a box. I had to ask for one. They Diminished the excitement of the moment. Very strange encounter. I won’t go back to that location.
I completely suggest going to Raj for your Jared’s experience. He’s incredible fast and very knowledgeable. We told him what we wanted and listens to all the details. He made different suggestions but didn’t pressure us into anything. He let us take our time and didn’t make us feel like we were wasting his time. He helped make my dream engagement ring happen and we left very satisfied. The atmosphere is wonderful and calming. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they don’t rush you while you look around. They even let me bring my child in! I mentioned this because at one point I made an appointment for David’s Bridal in Greensboro and I was not aloud to bring her in! So I had to cancel my appointment on the spot.
I went in to have a watch battery replaced. One gentleman just walked away from me in seeming disgust. The lady left standing there said there was no one there who could do it. I asked if I could leave it for the person who could. He was supposed to be back tomorrow. They said I couldnt. I would have to come in, hope the guy was free, and just wait. Im sorry I cant buy a new $3,000 watch from you every time the battery goes dead. Incidentally, my new jeweler did the job in 10 minutes while I waited.

I will not purchase anything else from this retailer! I bought 3 pieces of jewelry here in 2020. One which is an expensive engagement ring! Getting a scheduled cleaning and inspection they require done here is like pulling teeth! Everytime I call to schedule at a time convenient for me (the customer!) they tell me they have suspended services until some later date!! It seems like anytime around any holiday is a major issue for them.This twice this has happened this year! If Jared cant perform the services they require they need to stop requiring it. Seems like they want the inspection to lapse so they can void the warranty. The representatives on the phone are very rude about the subject as well. If youre reading this review think very hard about doing business here!!!He went to Jared because he was stupid!

What a waist of time, delivered the wrong $3k watch. Then began to try and blame me. I would never spend a dollar at this Jared, and or probably all the others too. Extreme unprofessionalism on the sales guy Mike and his manager that I didn’t get his name.
I purchased a Tag watch In February of 2020. At the same time I purchased an extended service agreement. Six months after purchasing the watch it stopped working. I took it to the store but they refused to service it. They said it could not be disinfected and their company has instructed them not to service watches. The manager (or person I spoke to) was rude and offered no reasonable solution. I wasted $390 on a watch warranty. I took it to Windsor Jewelers in Winston Salem for repair. They gladly accepted my business. I would not recommend this jeweler. I will never purchase from them again.

I received great customer service at this Jared’s location by Jennings Prichard. He was very informative about each piece and very friendly. My kids loved the play area to keep them occupied while I searched the store and it’s convenient in the store so I could see my kids from wherever I was. Customer service was exceptional. So, as soon as you walk in, theres a pretty lady with a big smile and a memory like none other!! Her name is Denise! When you talk to her you can tell that she loves what she does! She is patient and has a very positive attitude!! The last time I was at Jareds was in 2016. After I made my purchase as I was about to leave she came up to me and said, I thought that was you! How is Keith? with a smile and outstretched arms!! Now, the first time Im met her was in 2016 but I have not seen her since 2017, so what does that tell you? I know a good person when I see her and Denise is the epitome of a good person!
This was the absolute WORST treatment my family has experienced at a store of any kind. I spent $3,500 at this store two weeks ago for my wife’s Christmas gift. This might not sound like a great deal of money to some people or to Jared for that matter, but it is to us.Today my wife went in to see what she could do about exchanging the ring that we bought. The First Lady that she encountered was very kind and friendly and trying to help us with our issue. My wife simply wanted to see what her options were for an exchange. Before my wife could even finish her sentence, the store manager who was a female with brown hair interrupted her and said “RETURN IT.” This occurred after she publicly humiliated the woman who initially attempted to help my wife. The only words she could use to describe this experience is “hateful”.I also had a negative personal experience on the phone when speaking to a man with a thick accent. Not only was he rude and arrogant, but I could barely understand what he was saying.How a place like this is able to stay in business while hard working and considerate local jewelers are struggling is beyond me.
Took my Movado watch in for repair to fix the band. They overhauled the entire watch and replaced the back with the engraving. I don’t remember the exact verbiage on the engraving and they do not keep records of work done. Jared corporate office has terrible customer service and expects me to except the watch as is. Jack the store manager says he has no solution other than engraving something else on the watch. He said he is not the type of person to have an engraving have any real meaning and that if it was his watch it wouldn’t matter if the engraving was lost. After spending over $12k with Jared I would expect better service and I would expect them to hold themselves liable for there mistake.I highly recommend you find a different jewelry store to buy from.This is not the first incident with this store, when it comes to purchasing it’s all great until they have your money. Then the service goes downhill from there.
The quality of the jewelry and stones from Jared are amazing. We were there looking for an engagement ring and I was so impressed with the selection that they had to offer. We did not purchase anything because I fell in love with a ring from another store. However, I will continue to consider them for future purchases.
I had a great experience buying an engagement ring from Jared. Jody helped me find the perfect stone for my fiancé. Several times Jody scheduled times for us to meet to iron out the customization of the ring. She even proposed lunch one time to help me get the ring just right. Today my husband and I went into Jareds to get my wedding set cleaned, and the prongs examined. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ms. Joey. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable regarding jewelry repair, service and purchases. She answered all of our questions, made suggestions and created a wish list so my husband would know exactly what to get for future purchases. I highly recommend her to assist you with all your jewelry purchases.
I had my entire bridal experience from start to finish at the Jared store in Greensboro. Went in to look at wedding bands for myself and my fiance. Not only did the sales lady refuse to show me any mens rings under $1200 even though there was an entire case full of them, she told me (in front of my fiance) that her band is a symbol of our love and that I should not choose a cheaper ring for her because it wouldnt do her justice. Wow, never been guilt tripped as a sales tactic! Weve also had an issue with their pricing estimate changing, and them having an aggressive attitude about it when we showed them written proof of what they told us. If he went to (this) Jared, he messed up!

I went to Jared shopping forengagement ring,Greeted by Raj on door and we sit down and listened each other and within few minutes i knew i made the right decision to go over there, We discussed the style my girl friend like in few minutes he just created a custom design, before That been to every jewelry store in greensboro but never got the experience i had with Raj, i will always shop there for life.

I will not be returning to the Jared in Greensboro. Let me preface this story by saying that the Jared in Cary, NC where I received the engagement ring is a five star location in my opinion and I received some of the best service there. Today, my fiance and I went into the Jared in Greensboro, NC to get the ring resized and take a look at some wedding bands. We went in the store and patiently waited for someone to help us. We had multiple service members pass us and not say one word, not even, we will be with you in a minute. Multiple guests came in behind us and were taken care of right away. At the end of patiently waiting we had guests in the store start to apologize for them saying they are sorry we have not been helped yet. After waiting in the store for 30 minutes and not being acknowledged by any service member we left. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I work in the hospitality field as a manager and this kind of service is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this store ever again and I suggest you dont waste your time.

In store customer service was amazing. Jodi really gave us a great taste about the store and was very knowledgeable about the products. if you buy anything to DO NOT open a Jared account. Customer care is rude and will give you the run around. They tell you to call the store and when you call the store you are told customer care handles it. Customer care said the only thing I can do over the phone is pay a bill. Why pay someone to sit there and pay take payments but they cant handle other issues. Lesson learned and will never use this Jared account again.
Went to several Jewerly stores in the triad and triangle area but the service I received at Jared on Wendover was unmatched. Buying an engagement ring can be stressful but their associate Tre was patient and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend coming here before making a purchase from another store.
They were very helpful with my dad who was buying jewelry for my mom and so i decided to buy my wedding band and engagement ring through them. jodi cusato is the lady who helped me. she was very informative about different grades and prices of metal and how to care for them and also with quality of diamond for the different grades. i think i got the best ring for my budget.

This Jared has the WORST Customer Service ever! The employees are rude, pushy, and are just not friendly at all! I will never shop at this location again.
Dont go here for repairs! Went in one day to see if I could have my bridal set resized I was told it would be 100 dollars by the counter girl named Molly inspected it and everything,saying it looked good nothing wrong. Went in two days later when I had the cash, because they said they could do it same day. An Indian gentleman was there that day (didnt get his name) then told me that all my stones in my ring were loose and the prongs were warn down (I have had my set a week) he then told me it would be 190 dollars to fix. I was okay paying 100 because I could get it quicker than most places but not after they gave me the run around. I went to Lanes in Burlington and got them sized for 58 dollars and about a week and a half turn around time. Both were sized down one full size and are 14k white gold. (In case you want to know rough pricing of the other place.). Bottom line if you dont want to get treated terribly go to an independent jeweler or one of the other big box stores.

My wife and I went in to take a look at some replacement options for my wedding band. We were helped by Mike which we really appreciate all his hardwork and care while dealing with us. However, there were two representatives that really made our experience very uncomfortable and if it werent for Mike we would have spent our money elsewhere. Not only did one representative come up to Mike, while he was helping us, and not only interrupt him but almost belittle him in front of us. There, we asked Mike for a moment to decide on which option we liked and another lady come up, took the rings we were looking at, put them back in the case and closed the lid so we couldnt even see them. It took everything not to completely walk out of that store. Again if it wasnt for Mike we wouldnt have spent money there. Ill make sure to tell everyone I know that if you go to Jareds in Greensboro and Mike is not there...leave. If he is there and he is with someone else....wait for him.

I have had a great experience in years past a Jared in Altamonte Springs, FL where I bought my wife’s engagement and wedding ring. Unfortunately for Jared we will not give any future business to this Jared in NC or any other location!
Renea is by far the worst consultant present. I don’t see how you can have someone represent your company with her attitude, lack of knowledge and inability to make your customers happy. She has ruined this engagement process for me and my fiancé. I look forward to returning my ring and starting from scratch.

Dont Go here! Buyer Beware! My wife bought me a brand new limited edition watch and their watch plan which covers batteries, and repairing or overhauling once within the plan. Well they lost the watch my wife bought me and just went out and found another one to give me. I was not happy with this decision since MY watch had sentimental value as well as the item. They said that it was the same thing that an insurance company would do. I said no, an insurance company would have given a refund which is what I would like since they lost my Original watch. They said that they would not do that, and another watch is what they would do. Funny the watch is half the price it was when I bought it, so they bought two of them and put it on display. She then goes to tell me about how they just lost another customers watch the other day so it happens all the time and I could take it or leave it. I told her that I would come pick up my watch and post it with the BBB, she said thats fine.

I went in with my girlfriend to get an idea of style, size, and different options for engagement rings. Right off the bat it felt like I was at a car dealership, not a jewelry store. The representative that “assisted” us was very aggressive. He asked us several times to just “do it today”. I was asked about my budget in front of my soon-to-be fiancé which I found to be totally rude. Every ring she expressed any sort of interest in he would say “okay, so this is the one”. Once we finally told him no for the final time, he shooed my girlfriend away so he can talk to my privately and proceeded to ask me to buy today another three times. He asked me what time I wanted to come back today and pushed the idea that a custom cut rim set will take 6 weeks to complete. It was an overall unpleasant experience for the both of us and it safe to say we, or myself, will never be returning to Jared of Greensboro.
I went in to purchase a Tag Hauer watch. I was being helped by a very nice, knowledgable consultant. This other very tall, blond woman comes over, steps in front of Miss Hitzig, rudely shoved her aside and says she can help me. She suggested I look at something cheaper! I didnt like that little episode. I said thank you, but Miss H was helping me quite well. I turned back to Miss H and we continued our session. The big blond then retreated. Ive been in a couple of times since then...she just glares at me. I dont like that at all.Also, the first time I went in to the store, off Wendover, a man called Jennings, was very short with me. I was dressed in jeans and nice top. He looked me up and down and asked why I was there. I was actually wanting to up size my diamond from a 2 karat to maybe a 3, 3-1/2. He walked away from me. I didnt buy my diamond there.Again, I was there for a graduation present for a grandchild. Miss H was helping me at that time, too. The manager came out and started chastising her in front of me and about 5 others...really inappropriate behavior! She had only asked him a question! I go into that store and immediately sense tension. You need to go into that store yourself, incognito. Its never a pleasant atmosphere. I have had the worst experience at this store today 11/23/19. I’ve been in here for 20 minutes and no one has asked me if I needed assistance. The manager is standing there scrolling on his personal cell phone as if he’s NOT at work right now. Unbelievable.
Met Rajiv when we walked in. I had no idea what I was looking for so he sat us down and got to know my boyfriend and I for a minute. He told us his story and his background and got straight to the point. My BF did not want me to go with him to pick my type of ring but as soon as Raj started showing us stuff, he looked at me and said he was glad he did had me come. Raj listen to what I wanted which was simple. Something slightly fancy and unique. He delivered!!! Idk if thats the ring I will get but I know my BFs choice is safe in his hands.
Worst customer service ever! Trying to return something for 2 days no luck. Paid with cash but will not return money in cash have to wait 7-10 days for a check to be issued. Became very rude when found out we were returning something . Customer service much better at Wal-Mart.

This is by far the worst establishment I have ever done business with. If there was an option to not give a star I would. First the salesman lied to us about the custom ring. He said it would take 2 weeks and then conveniently left for India for a month. I did not get my ring back for over a month and a half. I had to constantly call the store to see where my ring was and when it would be back to only find out that it was sitting at the store because they were so lazy to even look. Then let’s have things get better... the credit agency was sold. Fine that happens but what does not happen is the large man in Jared took our $800 payment because we were promised that we would have 0 interest if we paid a certain percentage. HE APPLIED THE PAYMENT TO THE STORE. We have essentially lost out on $800 due to the incompetence of this dumbass and now we th customer have to prove that we paid. This would not be an issue if we were directed to the correct people from the banking service. We have to jump through hoops when Jared had NO problem taking our money but we have to prove they did...The store manager (the previous lying man who went to India) also has never returned my email about why he lied about the length of me getting my ring back. Still waiting for this email since oh ummm October 2017.To make everything better, our online account will never let us log in using the correct information. Our password always has to be reset. Our online payment has now been tripled for no reason. If you try to call Comenity Bank, none of the representatives have had proper training as they all say something different and can not deliver a definite answer. If I could return this ring I would because they have made my wedding be a thing that I hate. As if planned isn’t hard enough, but now I have to look down at my hand and have regret instead of happiness. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
Im super grateful for Jared here in Greensboro. I got my ring from somewhere else and within 30 days, 2 stones fell out. I gave the ring back to the original jeweler to fix and requested they resize the ring as well. It took the original jeweler a MONTH to get the ring back to me and I quickly noticed that they had repaired the ring, but did not resize it. I went into Jared on Christmas Eve, hoping to have the ring resized before my fiance and I had our family get-together that same evening (I really wanted to show it off!) Not only did Jared resize my ring perfectly, they also identified and tightened a few additional loose stones, cleaned and polished my ring for me so it was super shiny and ready to show off in just under two hours! They went above and beyond to help me out and the ring wasnt even originally purchased from them. The staff were all super friendly and they treated me like an extremely valued customer even though I showed up in an over-the-top elf dress for Christmas. I will point out that YES, it is pricier to have a ring resized here - but that is because they do it in-house and usually within 24 hours while other jewelers can take weeks. It just makes sense that faster service is usually pricier. Jared really came through for me. A HUGE thank-you to everyone who works there - especially on Christmas Eve of all days!
The sales associate Denyce Hill was nice and very helpful. I spent over 2000.00 that day in the store.I came back a couple weeks later and Miss Hill had already left for the day the day. I came in needing help and recieved extremely poor customer service. I called 8 times before coming to the store and NO ONE PICKED UP....NOT EVEN A ANSWERING MACHINE. I could have saved myself the 45 miles drive and came another day. No one offered to help and not everyone was busy.If U go to Jareds....i only recommend Denyce Hill....Other than that...go to another store!😡

Horrible. I bought earings for Valentines Day $400.00, 3 weeks later they broke. 58$ repair, no warranty. They say did you buy a service plan? I said no, but it hasnt been even 30 days. Sorry nothing we can do. I will NEVER shop there again.
Im not impressed. I bought her ring at the Jareds in San Diego and went into the local store to find a match to the band and was told it was discontinued and they have no record of what it looks like (less than two years old). We were told it would always be on file for this reason when we bought it. I was also told that the size was recorded for future purchases and it wasnt. On principle along I made my two anniversary band purchases elsewhere.

However, since I have yet to receive any response, recognition, or apology, Im going at this from another direction to see if I gain your attention. The following experience occured at your Wendover Ave location in Greensboro, NC:We have been talking about getting engaged for a short time now. Just the other day, I asked him if he would like to go to Jared to look at some rings because two newlywed friends of mine bought their rings there and had a great experience. So imagine my shock when he said, No... I dont want to go there ever again. I managed to get him to explain further...You see, my boyfriend walked into your store 2 weeks ago hoping for a little help finding a ring similar to the pictures I have been sending him for months now. What he got, was racial profiling that left him feeling unwanted and like a criminal.First, he was approached by a young woman, with whom he said he just wanted to look around for a few minutes before sitting down with someone. She seemingly agreed and walked away. She never returned, but the store manager did, and asked my boyfriend for identification. No one I have EVER gone into a ring store with has been asked for ID. Ever. When my boyfriend refused to provide him with the ID he wasnt required to give, the man said Well then I cant help you. My boyfriend replied with Well, Im really just looking for something similar to this (holding up a picture on his phone) for my girlfriend. The store manager says Well, how much money do you have? Because we have something similar to that but I doubt it is in your price range because they START at $9,000. First off, his response to my hispanic boyfriend was both discriminatory AND ignorant. He unfairly demanded ID from him, when no other customers in the store were asked while he was there, and then he INSULTED him by assuming he could not afford any of the rings in the store. Let me tell you something, as a WHITE woman, I have been in that store before to look around, never been asked for an ID and I have seen MANY rings in that store similar to the one I was showing him for far less than 9 grand. Even if they didnt exist, a good employee would have said Well, Im not sure what your budget is, but those run a bit pricey. I can show you similar styles that run a bit less if youd like? But no, he racially profiled him and turned up his nose.Let me make one thing clear, my boyfriend may be from another country but his money is still GREEN and it still spends like everyone elses. Rest assured, he wont be spending his green money at Jared and we will tell EVERYONE we know about this. Ive held my tongue from the media thus far, but no promises that this wont be unveiled in the near future. That store manager should be ashamed of himself. Hes lucky my soon-to-be fiancee is an honorable man and wont give me his name, because Id have it plastered over every social media and review website in existence.

Jared on Wendover Ave has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. It started of ok. A trainee took us into a room to talk about what kind of cut, style, price range, etc that we like. We told her that we would like to stay in the 3-4k range for everything. The engagement ring, and the two wedding rings. Before they would even show us anything they insisted on running credit because it is only a soft hit. After the credit came back a manager (JODY CUSATO) came in and took over. She showed us two diamonds, one which was around 2800 and the other around 4800. She put them in tweezers and was playing games with them saying can you tell which one is better? They both looked the same, but when you read the specifications the cheaper one was a higher quality diamond. The manager kept insisting that it was too small and telling my soon to be fiancee that she does not want that one because it is too small. I never said that I wanted the bigger one. Personally I wanted the smaller one because the quality and clarity were excellent when the other one was just good. The manager even had the audacity to tell my boyfriend well if you love her you will buy the bigger one because you want everyone to know that you love her! Really, what does love have to do with the size of a diamond? Next thing we know they are ringing stuff up and printing papers insisting that we let them set the ring in a setting that we never even laid eyes on and come back on Tuesday to look at it. She brings over 20 papers to sign and when I started reading the documentation she said dont read that just sign here. I am not signing anything without reading the fine print. The fine print said no returns or exchanges...at that point I said I am not signing anything. She said do not worry about that I promise that you have 30 days to return. Well if you have 30 days why are they asking you to sign a piece of paper that clearly states no return or exchanges? I am not signing anything to have a ring set that I have not even seen! My boyfriend looked at a wedding band for literally a minute and said this one is ok but I am not really sure and the next thing we know they are ringing that up to. They do not take no for an answer. We were just going in there so that he could get an idea of what I like and was going to go back without me and make it a surprise for me. but the manager had to ruin that with her attitude and pushiness. I will tell every single person that I know about this horrible experience. People do your self a favor and stay far away from this place unless you want to be treated with not respect at all and be rushed. Mind you we spent an hour looking at a computer and only five minutes looking at these two diamonds that they pushed on us. The total of everything that we did not even want or know what we would have been purchasing was around 10k! All they cared about was maxing that credit line out and pushing us out the door. My recommendation is that you go to Reeds jewelery where we did purchase our wedding set. They were the complete opposite of this horrible experience. They did no pushing at all. Did not even run credit the first two times we went in. If you want a fantastic experience go see( SCOTT HALES) AT REEDS located at four seasons mall, who has over 40 years experience in the jewelry business.
My wife went into Jared on 10/23/14 in search of a wedding present for me. I told her I wanted a Tag Heuer, so of course that is what she asked for. The associate showed her 3-4k watches. She said my budget is $1500. He then showed her the Movado, which she purchased. She spent over $1200 and they didnt bother setting the time/date. On our honeymoon in Jamaica I went swimming with it (supposed to be water resistant). After 3 days the bezel was cloudy and the watch stopped working. Upon my return from Jamaica I stopped in at Jared and explained the situation. The Manager said there was nothing she could do besides send it back to Movado and said it probably wouldnt cover water damage and I may incur a service fee for repairing the watch. I then called corporate which they assigned a case specialist the same day. They told me she would contact me within 24-48 hours. I called on Tuesday 11/04/14 after the 48 hour period and asked why I hadnt received a call. Long story short a person was assigned my claim and said she was going to call me by the end of the day to resolve the issue. No phone call Tuesday evening, Wednesday, or Thursday. In the meantime I have called once a day to check on the status with my claim. Finally, Today 11/07/14 I received a phone call from the claim specialist stating she left me a message but must have had the wrong number (the daily voicemails I left had the correct contact number). An absolute excuse. My wife and I will not purchase anything else from Jared. THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED. It would be different if I was buying a Timex from wal-mart.
Don’t buy anything from this place. I had the worst experience in customer care and the worst sales rep in Raj. It isn’t worth going here.
I went to Jareds on W. Wendover to purchase a gold necklace and pendant and found both 1,000, but the pendant had to be ordered. 14 day wait. The sales person could not give me any information on the necklace because she was new but nice. When I got home I realized this chain was a hollow 14k gold rope and was not durable at all. I returned the necklace a few days later in the hopes to purchase a thicker, hevier, solid chain. The customer service was horrible and the manager gave me attitude. I paid cash for the necklace but they couldnt refund the cash because they said they dont keep that much money on hand. Let me get this straight, you have a million dollars worth of merchandise in the store but you dont keep a thousand in cash? Then the manager said I could come back when someone else makes a cash purchase which is rediculous, or receive a check from corporate 10 to 14 days. This store is a joke and the manager has a horrible, I dont care attitude. I will never do business here again!
Whomever worked there on 6/27 should be fired. Worst customer service ever.

Rip off and cheap jewelry ... wouldnt even fix a chain on my braclet yet they claim to have service on jewelry
The Employees seem rushed, the management acts stingy,and the gemstones are cheap looking as well as most of their everyday fashion jewelry.They need to take more pride in the store and train everyone to be able to answer questions and help guests when needed.I am very disappointed and will be shopping elsewhere.
